RE:Favorite Baby Monitor?
I love our Eufy E21 baby monitor. It has an app to view on your phone and it has an actual monitor. Then I got a stand for $25 on Amazon. I liked that it wasn’t as expensive as the nanit

RE:Monitor recommendations
@SNRGarston, Fair enough -- not so much a baby monitor but I know some people have used indoor security cameras to keep an eye on their kids and for example the EUFY ones. They have a motion detection alert that goes to your phone. We have the outdoor ones and the phone notifications are always going off when my 5YO plays in the backyard lol.

I’ve been seeing bad reviews of eufy baby cameras, we already have eufy cameras everywhere, should we buy a different baby camera?
We have 4 eufy cameras and a doorbell camera. Knowing nothing about baby cameras, I’d like to go with eufy, but I don’t want to be tight and find out they’ve got issues etc. so I just want to gauge how many people have had good/bad/similar experiences. Baby monitor help! [ON]
So we had this Eufy baby monitor since baby was born but lately I’m finding the picture to be grainy and blurry. I am not happy with the inability to see baby clearly. The other day baby was sick and threw up in bed, we heard and saw it ofc but I realized I couldn’t see the vomit on screen.. and I don’t like that. What if I hadn’t heard seen the baby getting up to throw up? It just worries me that I couldn’t tell just by looking at the crib that something went wrong. Anyway I would love a recommendation on baby monitors that are no wifi and good picture quality in pitch dark rooms. I’d also love the ability to playback recordings just in case something happens at night but not sure if that’s possible with non wifi monitors. Thank you! submitted by /u/FantasticOpposite831 to r/BabyBumpsCanada [link] [comments]

Baby Monitor Help
I am looking for a baby monitor that actually has good resolution. Main issue is needs to be non-wifi but long range. Bub room is far away causing image quality issues. Tried Bonoch and Peekyboo. Both fine but night vision and range is not good - slow when there is movement and blurry when zoomed in Any suggestions - I know there is the wifi option, but like to hear about non wifi submitted by /u/Kabomb1 to r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu [link] [comments]

Baby Monitor with 2 Monitors
Hey, I'm after a baby monitor which has 2 monitors - want to leave 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs rather than moving around. I have seen Eufy cameras with 2x monitors which we can setup but will be costly i think. I don't want the phone option as incase we miss notifications etc - rather have a screen full on. Any recommendations welcome! Thanks! submitted by /u/R34l1st to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

Question About Eufy Baby Monitors
Hi, Do the Eufy baby monitors with WiFi and 24/7 video recording (eg E20) let you view the recordings without WiFi, via the monitor as opposed to the phone app? I'm looking for a baby monitor that has the 24/7 recording function but don't want any phone apps or WiFi, yet that seems to be impossible to find! submitted by /u/Cataku to r/EufyCam [link] [comments]

Baby monitor (eufy)
I am thinking of getting the eufy camera and also the eufy sock. From my understanding you can only view the camera on one phone, which is not great but it isn't that much of a problem to me. We have the vtech monitor camera currently, the cheap one. I hate it. It doesn't glitch anymore like it used to so much but we hardly ever use it now and hardly used it back when my daughter was little either. It always signs us out and no parent wants to sign into an account at 3am to view their baby. The parent counsel battery didn't even last its two hours it was supposed to. It always died and we stopped trying with it. It's not that we need a 10 hr battery on those but I do need a battery life that does go at least 3hrs id say as I am often alone and like the parent counsel for showering and for naps. I believe there is like a charger set up for the parent counsel as well that I would consider as no one wants to fight to plug in the counsel in the middle of the night, but mostly I don't have to worry about that as I sleep in the same room, I just am often by myself with baby and our 4yo. We also really love to go camping and so it would be truly wonderful to have a camera that I can take with and not need to connect to WiFi, from what I read eufy seems to not need that. It's not a must but it would be cool as it would be nice to sit on the porch and have baby in the ac this summer while taking naps. submitted by /u/One-Worldliness4825 to r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu [link] [comments]

Ped said he doesn’t recommend owlet/eufy but refuses to prescribe apnea monitor despite 2x family history of SIDS
TW for SIDS The paperwork my pediatrician gave me at his checkup yesterday says not to use home pulse ox monitors and just to follow safe sleep (which we do, the only “safe sleep” rule I break is I stick a used nursing pad between the crib rail and mattress because he cries if he can’t smell me) I brought it up to him and he says it causes anxiety and makes parents be more lax about safe sleep by allowing them to sleep in the bed, or allowing them to sleep on their chest while the parent is also sleeping. However my dad lost 2 children, 6 months and 4 months to true SIDS. This was 30+ years ago but they followed safe sleep pretty close to the current standards as well, no smokers in the house, they slept in a bassinet by themselves, they used blankets but that did not contribute to their death (the blanket was still at waist level when found) Due to this my OBGYN said I should talk to the ped about an apnea monitor, but the ped says it’s unnecessary because there’s little evidence that SIDS is genetic between family, the genetic link is for people that lost 1 baby already to SIDS and that I do not qualify for a hospital grade monitor I am extremely uncomfortable with this. Should I continue using the owlet and following safe sleep + other protective measures (we use an air purifier as a fan next to his crib, we are room sharing until 12 months at least, I breastfeed, we use a pacifier, we use a swaddle that allows his arms to be in the natural up position so if for some reason he rolls or one of the cats gets in the crib he can push them away) I don’t want to not follow my peds advice but I literally wouldn’t be able to sleep without a monitor on him. Baby monitor - C10 vs E20/21
Hi all, I can't seem to find much online comparing these models. Is it pretty much just the screen that you get with the camera and slightly better zoom? The price difference is crazy so not sure I could justify the extra for the E20. I have a separate indoor eufy camera (E30) that I was planning on installing long term but if we prefer this then I'll sell the E30. Thanks submitted by /u/Harrison88 to r/eufy [link] [comments]

Anker: “our AI promised you too much” – baby monitor died in 7 months and they refuse to replace it
Bought a Eufy baby monitor on Amazon. After 8 months the parent unit basically stopped holding a charge – only works plugged in. Still under their 12-month warranty. Support made me do days of troubleshooting, then finally emailed saying they had refurbished baby monitor sets and would be “happy to send me one as a replacement” (monitor + camera). I accepted, gave my address, done deal… or so I thought. Next email: that was an “unauthorized AI response” from their “AI colleague” and I should ignore it. No replacement set. Now they’ve followed up saying the refurbished monitor is “sold out” and the best they can do is 50% refund + a discount code to buy another Eufy monitor. So: baby monitor dies in under a year, they offer a full replacement set in writing, blame AI to walk it back, then tell me to pay half again for a new one. Am I crazy for thinking the bare minimum here is either a new equivalent monitor set or a full refund? Anker/Eufy reps lurking here – is this really how you want your warranty stories spreading on Reddit? submitted by /u/yabbadabbaduke to r/anker [link] [comments]

Help with choosing a Baby Monitor/ Camera, advice and regrets
Currently spending days looking into baby montiors. What did you chose and has it been good or bad? Everytime that I find a good product i see people complain about issues. We want to get the eufy baby sock so originally considered the combo with the camera, but it doesnt have a dedicated parent screen in the bundle, so I am now.looking at other options. Reliability is important to us obviously. Also looking for something that will give a decent alert when baby cries and that why i am steering more away from the app only options. submitted by /u/AddyStacks to r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu [link] [comments]

Baby Monitor - Eufy E21
Hey brains trust!! After some advice - we are now ready to buy a monitor for our 1 month year old baby. After lots of research we think we have settled on the eufy E21 but annoyingly the cot mount cannot be purchased in Australia. Has anyone found anything that works that maybe is universal? Or found a way to get one here. I’m also open to other cameras if you have suggestions. Budget is not a concern but needs a floor mount or cot mount. Baby monitor via local Wi-Fi but no internet
Hello everyone, I am looking for a baby monitor (camera + monitor) that communicates via my Wi-Fi network but works without the internet. I can easily disable the baby monitor's internet access in the router, but the baby monitor + monitor should of course continue to work within the WiFi range in the house. Does anyone here have any experience or suggestions? With the Eufy baby monitor, for example, I haven't been able to find anything yet about whether it still works when internet access is blocked. Googling this topic is extremely tedious because it seems like everyone thinks that Wi-Fi is the same as the internet... Since most “no Wi-Fi” baby monitors communicate at 2.4 GHz (the same frequency as Wi-Fi), I don't see the point in simply using my existing Wi-Fi, which covers the entire house with an access point. However, I don't need the baby monitor to have internet functionality for remote access or anything like that. I would be very grateful for any help. submitted by /u/pahnada to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

Baby monitor recommendation (wifi & non-wifi all-in-one) [on]
Hi everyone! FTM here due in 5 weeks time and still haven’t settled on a monitor. We’ve been humming and hawing over the Nannit, but don’t love that it’s wifi only and you can only watch via the app on your phone. We would ideally like a monitor that comes with it’s own monitor, with the option of an app, so that it can be used as either non-wifi or wifi. The reviews are so mixed on Amazon and it’s hard to trust what’s a real review versus fake. A few we are considering is the vetch (VM901), eufy, comfyer or arenti. Anyone have any recommendations or experiences with any of these options? Or, should we just go with the Nannit since it seems to be so highly recommended? Baby Monitor Advice
Hello fellow Dads 🫡 I am a soon to be first time dad in November and have been doing some research I’m between 3 different baby monitors at 3 different price ranges. I’m currently looking at the Eufy E21, Babysense 5.5, and Phillips Avent. It seems like everybody hates their baby monitors or loves them a lot of the reviews seem to be 50/50 so Any advice would be great. Eufy e21 baby monitor constantly disconnecting
I’ve searched but can’t find much on this in the recent-ish past. I have the eufy e21 baby monitor and it is CONSTANTLY disconnecting (losing connection with the camera). There’s no warning sound when this happens so I’ll discover that it’s been disconnected for hours at night. It’s happening more in the past few weeks, now multiple times an hour. I have no idea how to even start troubleshooting this. It should be a local connection (not wi-fi) and I turned off Smart Connect (which uses wi-fi as a backup if there’s a poor local connection) without any improvement. My kid’s room is like 20 feet away from mine so the range should not be an issue. I’m ready to throw this thing out the window and invest in a whole new brand, which sucks because I bought it only - few months ago. Thoughts?? So grateful for any suggestions! submitted by /u/toddler_rage to r/EufyCam [link] [comments]

HYBRID MONITORS: Eufy E21 or ???
Hello! I am looking for recommendations or reviews for a HYBRID baby monitor - one that has a parent unit AND is WiFi enabled for use with a phone app. We already have a non-wifi unit at home so we are looking for something specifically to use for on the go/grandparents etc. Anyone have experiences with the Eufy they can share or another they recommend? Features that we’d love: 1. Remote moving/panning of camera is a must 2. Remote toggle between WiFi and parent unit, if possible - I don’t think the Eufy has this feature, it looks like the toggle is on the camera 3. Something that can be used by multiple app users at once (i.e. at least two caregivers can access the feed on their phones when the unit is in WiFi mode) 4. Multiple cameras/add on camera available 5. ANR (Noise reduction of white noise) 6. Movement/sound alerts a plus 7. Battery backup a plus submitted by /u/lrbsto to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

Eufy Baby Monitor E21
Recently purchased 2x of these because of the mobile monitor screen. Easier than opening the app and finding the camera view. I feel like I’m pretty deep in the Eufy life, own like every single product ever. That being said this one perplexes me. there’s like not one position where the mount they provide works. The camera is so heavy because of the mobile battery it barely holds with the clamp tightened to the max. Am I the only one who is confused if this is supposed to be plugged in all the time. All the marketing shows no cord and I get it needs power but with the camera on a mount the cord just dangles everywhere, not the most organized system. Like a choking risk when the kids get bigger is my fear. I’m not 100p I’ll keep these but I do love eufy and everything about the brand just not this one. Change my mind, I want to keep it. Appreciate tips on how you’ve made it work for your little ones. TYSM; signed… overtired, struggling parents to our first. submitted by /u/Careful_Apricot520 to r/EufyCam [link] [comments]

No WiFi Baby Monitor Recommendations [on]
I am looking for a baby monitor that has a camera but does not use WiFi and am overwhelmed with the choices (shopping in Canada/Amazon.ca). Is Eufy good? HelloBaby? Boifun? Please post your recommendations! One feature I'd like is good picture quality/clarity, especially in a dark room at night. Also, good battery life. submitted by /u/Leetsy003 to r/BabyBumpsCanada [link] [comments]

Recommended Baby Monitor (Non-Wifi)? ((Also Owlet is AWFUL))
First I just need to get this off my chest: The Owlet Camera is the biggest piece of shit and I want to Office Space smash it to pieces in the middle of a field. My husband & I HATE this thing. We didn't get the sock because of the mixed reviews (right before the FDA stepped in) but we decided to go with the camera. Might as well have thrown $150 into the fire place. I mean Owlet is so popular and shiny and advertised so hard to us. It constantly disconnects on us. We'll check it right before we put baby down and as soon as we step out of the room it fails. Our internet is fine and nothing else struggles to connect. To reset it the robot voice is so loud! When it does function it lags like 5-10 seconds and I've already heard baby through the wall if I'm nearby. The quality isn't even that good for how much money we spent. Also I found out I just hate using my phone as the viewing monitor ((Sometimes ya girl just wants to disassociate on TikTok for awhile...)) With that out of the way...Does anyone recommend a Baby Monitor that doesn't use Wifi and comes with a hand held device to show the video? Preferably from Amazon cause we got a gift card recently. Like I don't need crystal clear video but as long as I can see her & hear her that would be great! Thank you! Edit: WOW! I didn't think this was going to get this popular! Every time we woke up to feed baby I would just see more Upvotes and even better more Comments! Also thank you for the Rewards! I'm not entirely sure what they do but they look pretty! Haha! Also thank you for ALL the suggestions! Husband and I are going to pluck through them to see what will be the right fit. I hope this thread also helped others with their research on finding the perfect monitor that'll work for them! :-) I'm both happy and sad to read other people's problems with the Owlet. I'm happy to see it works for some people and I hope it continues to do so. Unfortunately we purchased ours about a month before she was born and it's now a little over 2 months of having it. We paid in cash and I lost the receipt (I probably threw it away) so I don't think Owlet would do anything to help. Considering it a expensive lesson learned. Cheers to ya'll and Happy Holidays! submitted by /u/TrulyOutrageous89 to r/beyondthebump [link] [comments]
