Re: Simple sunscreen
@cindyNC No, it has no fragrance. See first pic posted with description. It is fragrance free. They do have also the origional scent which is the one I use, I love the smell, but it's not their mineral sunscreen, as this one is. It's a great sunscreen, clean, and cruelty free. I love it, and use it on my face and neck daily.

RE:Baby sunscreen?
For babies under 6 months, it’s best to avoid direct sun and use shade, hats, and long sleeves. If exposure is unavoidable, apply a small amount of gentle mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide or titanium dioxide) to exposed areas like the face and hands. Tip: patch-test first and reapply if the baby sweats or the sunscreen rubs off. Shade and clothing are the safest protection.

Rapid aging due to grief.
TLDR: A compound grief has rapidly aged me, what can I do to look like myself again? In the last two years I’ve experienced a compound grief and I feel like it has aged me really harshly. The most important person in my life died followed by my fiance & partner of 6.5 years breaking up with me within a few months. I lost the two most important people in my life basically at the same time, moved into my ‘starting over’ apartment and I’ve been kind of drowning since. (Recently got into therapy, doing my best) I have a bulge under my left eye that has gotten so pronounced. As well as just the overall quality of my skin has really suffered. I feel like I look so harsh and distorted. I cry a lot and I have trouble sleeping, I know these are factors, but I eat really healthy, 80% Whole Foods, and I exercise regularly. Currently my skincare is oil cleanser, retinol eye cream, tretinoin, & moisturizer at night. In the AM, I just rinse my face with cold water, same eye cream and moisturizer, and SPF 50 sunblock. I’ve never tried any fillers, Botox, surgery, lasers etc. but I think I’m ready. Whatever the recommendation is I’m gonna have to save up for it, so don’t hold back haha. What would be the most bang for my buck? I don’t necessarily want to look younger, just like life hasn’t been as hard as it has. I’m 45 years old. Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance! First 3 photos are me right now, second three are me less than two years ago, just before my grandma died. I’ve been using tret/sunscreen the whole time. submitted by /u/07734tiza to r/40PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Ugh my post was cut short — What is your FAVORITE FACE SUNSCREEN? Preferably with an SPF of 30 or higher! ☀️
I have to re-do this because my story was incomplete after I posted it! Grrrr. I am 34F constantly on the hunt for my holy grail sunscreen. The problem??? Chemical sunscreens tend to break me out within the same day (like after I wash my face, I see the breakout). It’s not ALL chemical sunscreens, but for me, it’s most of them. 😭 Personally, mineral sunscreens do not break me out! However, I really like that chemical sunscreens get absorbed into my skin and can have some cool skincare benefits! Ugh. I have tried so many, sooooo many. This is some of my collection 🫠 For reference, I am pale. I tend to stay out of the sun. In my 20’s, I was a sun-bather. I was always glowing and tan. I got pregnant at 28 and continued to bask in the sun for an hour a day, unprotected. The result?? MELAMSA. Thank GOD one of my old high school friends informed me about Melasma and told me to wear my sunscreen. Unfortunately, it was too late and the damage was done. Yes, I have done multiple rounds of hydroquinone cream from my dermatologist/ compound pharmacy. Sadly, my melasma comes right back after a few short weeks of clear, even skin. My next step, and hopefully my FINAL step, will be laser treatments. I’m so sad and insecure about my spots. They are ALL over my face now, they seem to spread as time goes on. Fml. So naturally, I love me a tinted or lightly tinted sunscreen for my face. Right now, what I typically grab in the mornings is — Naturium “Dew Glow” Moisturizer with SPF 50 (chemical). I also really like TIZO “AM Replenish” Lightly Tinted SPF 40 (mineral), SkinBetter Science “SunBetter” Advanced Mineral Protection SPF 75 (damn this one is like FULL coverage tho.. and expensive as shit), and Supergoop “Protec(TINT)” with SPF 50 (hybrid, with zinc oxide, homosalate, and octisalate). I truly would love to read about some of your favorite sunscreens that you tend to reach for daily. I’m open to anything!!! Ideally I’d love a tinted sunscreen that does not burn my eyes (looking at you, Neutrogena), that isn’t ORANGE (looking at you La Roche, sorry I’m pale AF), and doesn’t break me out…. But that’s to be determined upon application and a wear-test lol! 🥴 submitted by /u/michpilk to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Glasweigans, how often do you wear SPF/sunscreen on your face?
I am focused this year on my skincare and one of the biggest pieces of advice in any skincare routine is ‘wear sunscreen’ Not really an issue in the summer, but it just feels absolutely pointless here. I go to work in the dark, I work indoors, I go home in the dark so I’ll be honest, I just don’t bother and haven’t been lately. I am thinking of just getting some and adding it to my AM routine regardless of how bleak it is outside. My question for everyone who has a skincare routine, especially if you are using tretinoin, do you wear it even in the winter? Hoping everyone has a good weekend 🥰 submitted by /u/amusableblue to r/glasgow [link] [comments]

I can not stand having a greasy/slimy face at all even from sweat. Is there a sunscreen that is actually truly matte and non greasy?
I dont wear make-up because I can't tolerate the feeling. I have never had a sunscreen I could wear on my face. Ive recently started taking better care of my skin and ive found a facial moisturiser that I can tolerate (cerave oil control moisturising gel cream) I dont have oily skin i think its probably normal to dry but that moisturiser completely dries and doesnt go slimey later on if my face sweats. I read the sunscreen wiki and ive looked at reviews. Are any of these truly dry touch? Or is there a truly dry touch facial sunscreen? I dont even really care how much it is i just want to not feel disgusting. I use the lrp anthelios spray for my body but its not ok for my face. Day 1: The ultimate sunscreen face off (Battle of the broad spectrum)
What Are We Looking For? Real sunscreens with proper SPF protection ..not cosmetic glow creams disguised as SPF. Trustable & certified formulas that actually protect. No makeup-like products with barely SPF claims. Sun protection first, aesthetics second. I’ve tried my best to keep this informative, adding key details beside each sunscreen in the grid so you can make a smarter choice, not just a pretty one. Now the game is all yours .. The comment section is your battlefield: Drop your skin type Share your skin concern Tell us how the sunscreen worked for you.. Honest experiences only ..hits and misses welcome Voting starts now! I HATE the feeling of sunscreen on my face. What invisible sunscreens do you recommend? I’m desperate!
I don’t like the silicone type sunscreens like Glossier or anything that feels heavy/greasy like it sits on top of the skin. My skin is relatively sensitive, dry and prone to acne in one area on my chin. submitted by /u/littlepastel to r/Sephora [link] [comments]

[product request] What’s your holy grail sunscreen for the face? 🧸
So I’ve been using the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum for a while now and honestly… I love it. It feels amazing on the skin, gives that nice hydrated glow, and layers perfectly under makeup. But recently I’ve seen people saying it might not actually have valid SPF protection?? I don’t totally get it? Something about testing inconsistencies? 🥲 So now I’m kinda nervous to keep using it and was thinking of trying the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun (Rice + Probiotics) instead since it seems to be everyone’s holy grail. So I’m curious: What’s your favorite face sunscreen? Has anyone tried both in the picture and noticed a difference? Thank you 🫶🏻 submitted by /u/Wimsylou to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

[Misc] I analyzed 90+ Reddit threads to find the best sunscreens
I scraped comments from 90+ posts where people asked “what’s the best sunscreen?” (plus some big skincare rec threads), then ran the whole pile of thousands of comments through an LLM pipeline to see which products consistently get love vs. mixed reviews. Goal wasn’t “most mentioned,” but “most positively talked about.” Method in a nutshell: – Scraped 90+ “best sunscreen?” threads & skincare megathreads – Ran GPT-5 + Gemini 2.5 to extract product names and classify sentiment – Scoring = ~70% positive vs. negative differential + ~30% positive/total ratio – Merged name variants so duplicates didn’t inflate scores (e.g., “Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun,” “BOJ SPF50+” → one entry) + some other nerdy sentiment tweaks that I won't bore you with Would love your feedback! submitted by /u/LoneKnight25 to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

HUGE update
Hi loves! I went to the dermatologist today because i woke up out of sleep crying from pain. and could not go back to sleep even after taking a benadryl!! it was that painful. turns out it was an allergic reaction to the mupirison which made my face 10x more inflamed and irritated. she also diagnosed me with Pyoderma Faciale. We think this is caused by the bacteria from strep that i had in November. (my face has been that bad for that long!!!) it now makes sense why i was misdiagnosed so many times and no one knew what the issue was and why no antibiotics or steroids were curing it. also makes sense because i got this OUT OF THR RANDOM!!! i have huge cysts all across my jaw line that are so tender and painful. she prescribed me 40 mg prednisone for 7 days, then 20 for 7 days, then 10 for 7 days, then 5 for 7 days to hopefully help the pain and inflammation. I am still taking accutane but only 10 mg once a day until the end of march then back to 20 mg a day and then april 1, i have a accutane appt to up my dosage. i am so happy i finally have an answer even though its not the answer i wanted. i am so worried its going to scar super bad since it went untreated for a couple months but ill take scars over painful cysts. i will give constant updates. my skin care routine is - Cerave hydrating cream to foam face wash, Cerave healing ointment and that’s it lol. i don’t go outside so i don’t use sunscreen yet but i will when it gets warmer and my face heals a bit. i also do ice bowls and soak my face in it to help. i was directed to not use any harsh things on my face during this time. if you have PF or have any suggestions on what i should add/take away from my routine let me know! i also take my accutane with a fish oil and claritin! submitted by /u/jocelynnjewett to r/SkincareAddicts [link] [comments]

Best & Worst Skincare Products I’ve tried [review]
Little bit about me/my skin: Im 25F and I have sensitive, acne prone, combination skin. My skin is especially sensitive to fragrance, citrus and floral essential oils. Because of this I’ve become a bit of a skincare nerd and an obsessive ingredients list reader. I definitely still have a lot to learn about skincare but I hope this list helps some of you! Especially my fellow sensitive skin skincare addicts. I tried to keep the reviews very short and straight forward, but if you want me to expand on any products let me know! 1. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer 30 SPF - 3/10 Pros: Fragrance free and very moisturizing. Cons: Broke me out and burned my eyes Best for: dry skin. 2. Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser - 0/10 Pros: literally nothing. Cons: I don’t like the smell, it broke me out, didn’t remove my makeup well. 3. Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser - 6/10 Pros: Clean ingredients list. Cons: Stripping/drying and expensive. For who? Oily skin or those that like to feel squeaky clean. 4. La Roche-Posay Anthelios Sunscreen 60 SPF (American) - 3/10 Pros: Doesn’t leave a white cast. Cons: Greasy, broke me out, stung my eyes. Bottom Line: Stick to the European version. 5. La Roche-Posay Anthelios Sunscreen 50+ SPF (European) - 9/10 Pros: Doesn’t leave a white cast, reasonably priced. Cons: texture is a little too runny for my liking. Bonus: LRP donates to skin cancer research. 6. Jordan Samuel Hydrate Facial Serum - 0/10 Pros: Couldn’t try long enough to say. Cons: Gave me a bright red burning skin reaction. Bottom Line: Looks like they changed their formula (for good reason obvi) so I can’t speak for the new version. For who? Those who want an excuse to cancel dinner plans. 7. Mario Badescu Rose Facial Spray - 0/10 Pros: Cheap. Cons: Mist comes out too strong, I don’t like the smell, contains fragrance, citronellol, geraniol and colorants. Bottom Line: Thank goodness it was a gift, because I won’t be buying. 8. The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser - 5/10 Pros: Unscented, affordable. Cons: Made my skin itch and left a residue. Bottom Line: I won’t repurchase. 9. A313 Vitamin A Pommade - 10/10 Pros: My acne reduced, skin texture improved (after two weeks). Thick vasaline texture that locks in the vitamin A. Cons: Slight metallic smell Bottom Line: Worth the hype! I use 2x a week max, alternating with a salicylic acid oil. 10. Youth to the People Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm - 3/10 Pros: Great ingredient list, interesting extracts. Cons: Smells like waxy crayons, crumbly texture that doesn’t melt well into the skin, left a waxy feeling behind. Bottom Line: I’ve tried better. 11. Tata Harper Water-Lock Moisturizer - 2/10 Pros: I liked her organic Vermont farm story and the light gel cream texture. Cons: strong fragrance, contains skin irritants like Alcohol, limonene, citral, citronellol, linalool and orange peel extract. Bottom Line: Don’t use if you have sensitive skin. There is a sunburn warning on the side of the box because it contains AHAs. 12. Saturday Skin Carrot + Niacinamide Moisturizing Cream - 6/10 Pros: Hydrating thick gel cream. Cons: Smells so strong of silicone. Bottom Line: Bought it in Europe, loved it. Bought it in the US, smelled like straight up silicone. Different formula maybe? 13. Glossier Future Dew - 0/10 Pros: Cute packaging. Cons: Made me look like a greasy pizza, broke me out and don’t like the smell. 14. Versed Sunday Morning Antioxidant Oil-Serum – 1/10 Pros: inexpensive. Cons: Does nothing. The biphase ends up looking gross and muddled after a while. 15. Murmure Bisou Clarifying Dry Oil – 10/10 Pros: Cleared my blackheads, sinks into the skin fast. Cons: Contains hazelnut oil so be careful if you have an allergy! Bottom Line: I use it about 2x a week at night (not on the same day as my retinol). My skin is always less red and bumpy in the AM. 16. Typology Glycolic Acid 10% - 3/10 Pros: Affordable (Typology is like the French version of the Ordinary). Cons: Broke me out, 10% glycolic acid is too strong for my skin. 17. Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil – 9/10 Pros: Nice dry oil that soaks in quickly, love the smell (I only use this on my body so the fragrance doesn’t bother me). Cons: Wish it had a dropper or pump to make application less messy. Bottom Line: I put this all over my body after my shower and my skin feels baby soft. 18. Innisfree Daily UV Defense Sunscreen 36 SPF – 5/10 Pros: Good value for money. Cons: Broke me out, a little too oily. Bottom Line: They have changed the formula since I tried it so I cant speak for the new formulation. 19. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ - 7/10 Pros: Super soothing and healing. Cons: clogged my pores (avoid if you have acne or milia prone skin). Bottom Line: I would buy again for my eyelid dermatitis that I get every winter For who? Dry, irritated skin. 20. SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic Serum - 8/10 Pros: Brightened and evened my skin tone. Cons: So expensive it hurts! Oxidized at around the 4 month mark. Smells slightly unpleasant. Bottom Line: One of the most effective formulas for vitamin c that Ive tried. Keep it away from light and to close the bottle tightly so it doesn’t oxidize as quickly. 21. Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-fine Mist – 1/10 Pros: Cute packaging. Cons: Broke me out, overpowering candy fragrance, didn’t hydrate. 22. Pillow Talk Derm Major Fade Flash Mask – 0/10 Pros: I can’t speak to the effectiveness of the product because my skin couldn’t handle it. Cons: Instantly burned my face into a red mess. Bottom Line: 15% glycolic acid was too much for my skin. Make sure to always patch test new products. 23. The Outset Nourishing Squalane Daily Moisturizer – 7/10 Pros: Clean ingredients list, nice light texture. Cons: Not hydrating enough for my skin. Bottom Line: If you have sensitive skin and like a lightweight moisturizer it might be worth a try. 24. Aquaphor Healing Ointment Advanced Therapy – 10/10 Pros: Heals, hydrates/seals in moisture. Cons: Packaging is kinda ugly. Bottom Line: Cult classic for good reason. I’m team Aquaphor over vasaline every day. 25. Skinfix Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream – 10/10 Pros: Super hydrating and nourishing. Nice cream gel texture. Cons: none. Bottom Line: My sensitive skin loves this moisturizer. Even though I have acne prone skin I still prefer their normal triple lipid over their gel version. 26. Saturday Skin Yuzu Vitamin C Sleep Mask – 4/10 Pros: slightly brightening. Cons: Strong smell, contains citrus oils, feels quite sticky. 27. Youth to the People Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream – 3/10 Pros: nice light airy texture. Cons: Has fragrance and limonene. Didn’t do much. Bottom Line: Last time I was at sephora I did notice that the cream is no longer a light green color, so I think they changed the formula. 28. Caudalie Beauty Elixir Face Mist – 0/10 Pros: None. Cons: Doesn’t smell great, does nothing, has alcohol, fragrance, rosemary oil, citral, linalool, citronellol…). Bottom Line: Outdated product imo. 29. Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen 40 SPF – 5/10 Pros: Doesn’t leave a white cast. Cons: Expensive and broke me out. Feels very silicone heavy. like my skin was suffocating. Bottom Line: Sensitive acne prone skin beware. 30. U beauty The Plasma Lip Compound (Rose) – 0/10 Pros: Couldn’t keep it on my lips long enough. Cons: Smells so bad like straight up chemicals. Bottom Line: So disappointing because it was really expensive. 31. Youth to the People Polypeptide-121 Future Cream – 7/10 Pros: Hydrating and plumping. Cons: Started to smell a little funny when I got halfway through the jar. 32. Glow Recipe Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm – 8/10 Pros: Nice creamy texture that melts into the skin. Smells delicious and removes makeup well. Cons: Leaves a greasy film on my eyes Bottom Line: One of the few glow recipe products that I actually like. 33. Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream (Night) – 1/10 Pros: lovely texture. Cons: Smells way too strong, like straight up perfume. Has citral, limonene, lemon peel oil and fragrance. Bottom Line: Sensitive skin beware. 34. Typology Niacinamide 12% - 5/10 Pros: Inexpensive. Cons: 12% niacinamide is too strong for my skin. Bottom Line: studies show that your skin reacts best at a 4% concentration. I like to add a little into my moisturizer every so often to dilute it. 35. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – 3/10 Pros: Smells delicious (but has fragrance). Cons: Made my lips more dry. I don’t like having to scoop into a jar. Bottom Line: I don’t understand the hype of this product. 36. Clarins Lip Comfort Oil - 9/10 Pros: Not sticky, lasts a while and very shiny. Cons: Wish there was more color payoff and kinda pricey (not doir expensive but getting there). Bottom Line: My fav lip product to date. submitted by /u/Valuable-Moment973 to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

Genuinely how the hell are we supposed to reapply sunscreen over a full face of makeup?!
You can’t reapply lotion because it smudges, powders don’t give enough protection, sticks also smudge and remove makeup, sprays leave you oily and sticky plus you don’t know how much you spray and most sprays still need to be rubbed in?! With how important we know Sun protection to be, how has the makeup industry not kept up? Sure there is like 2 brands that have 5 products and no inclusivity that do sunscreen makeup, but even then the protection never reaches spf50 and costs like a million dollars. Is really the only solution to not wear makeup or just not go outside??? submitted by /u/hdkfkekf to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Sunscreen review (broad spectrum / light / face) - I have tested on sunny hot humid days and as every day even indoors
TLDR; La Roche Posay and Brush on Block were my top picks! After my family had a scare with melanoma a couple years ago, slathering myself with sunscreen is an every day must! No matter the season, I'm always wearing sunscreen as my base and so I've accumulated a nice collection. I used these four over the last year and thought I'd share my take for anyone else wanting to make sunscreen part of their daily routine. I live in really cold, dry winters and very hot humid summers. I have sensitive combination skin that is medium olive tone. I probably go half the week wearing makeup and the other half makeup free. I've based my ratings on things I find important which are: Broad-Spectrum Protection - I need both UVA and UVB protection. Texture & Finish - can this be worn alone or under makeup? how does it pair with makeup? does it pile etc. is it drying or gives moisture or is it greasy? Sensitive Skin Approved - I lean towards formulas that are free from fragrances, alcohol, and other irritants Price and Accessibility - I chose USA brands on purpose since I have to re-up yaer round. And yeah, price matters when I have to wear sunscreen every day Summer Fridays ShadeDrops SPF 30, $36 6/10 Grabbed this on a whim while wandering around Sephora recently. It seemed like it might be a good fit for me: broad-spectrum protection, and when I gave it a quick test in-store, the texture was all light and hydrating, without any of that sticky feeling. Plus, it's eco-friendly and seemed to be on the gentler side ingredient-wise, which is a big deal for my sensitive skin. I normally pick up a higher SPF, but some times (especially in winter) I get by with SPF 30. So, I did the responsible thing and patch tested it on my face (lessons learned) and bam, welcomed a red itchy patch. Turns out, after a bit of a deep dive, that this isn't exactly unheard of with this product. Super glad I only did a patch test, because I've read about folks who went full face and ended up with major redness. Just goes to show, the higher pricetag doesn't always mean you're getting what's best for your skin First Aid Beauty Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30, $28 6.5/10 My hopes were high with its promise of avocado oil and vitamin E—ingredients known for their healing and moisturizing properties. However, the experience fell short of expectations. Despite its appealing ingredient list, the sunscreen felt thick and heavy, a far cry from the lightweight, non-greasy promise often sought in sun protection. This texture issue became particularly evident under makeup, where it failed to blend seamlessly, leading to noticeable pilling. While it didn't match up with my daily wear hopes, especially for those makeup days, it's found a niche spot as my go-to for beach days when I don't totally care if I look a little extra shiney or if there's a little white cast. Supergoop Everyday Lotion 50 SPF, $24 7.5/10 Agreeing with all the sunscrean afficionadoes, it's a lot of hype and not with the pricepoint. Is Supergoop the new Glossier? Good marketing and packaging, but not living up o the hype/ I thinks so! Ok so I thought this was just OK, but there were a few things that made me stop wearing it after one day. #1 thing that will make me stop wearing a sunscreen is if it stings my eyes and this stung my eyes to the point where i had to wash it off. Then I did the face powder trick: washed my face, put this sunscreen on and then immediately powdered the areas around my eyes. this worked ok. stung less, but when I sweated again, it started to sting. The other fail was that it didn't seem to dry on my skin, it was super oily. I'm wondering if this stuff is meant for the beach only and for no make-up days? maybe? And then there was the smell. I am not that sensitive to smells, though I do prefer no-sceent products. This scent was kinda ew? Ayways, I am passing on this one, but if you like Supergoop sunscreens then this vould be a good one for beach days, summertime only La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50+ SPF, $36.99 8/10 This seems to be the fan fave/holy grail, so I had really high hopes. It was pretty decent, once I got the hang of it. Super liquidy and spilled out easily (not a big deal though), which meant it also spread evenly and nicely across my face. There was a slight white cast, which is to be expected for full spectrum (it has zinc). It also has oxybenzone which that is a no for me, now that I know more about this ingredient. I will say that it felt ""light greasy"" and I broke out just a little after using it for a week. When I spread it on my face, I waited to see if it would dry on my face giving it a ten minute timer, but it stayed still kinda slightly greasy - not too greasy, but perma dewy? if taht makes sense? if you have super duper dry skin, this could be for you. Maybe the oily finish is for dry skin? I didn't hate, but i didn't find myself reaching for it Brush on Block Sheer Genius SPF 50, $36 9/10 Found this one while traveling and after some quick research while standing in the store I thought I'd pick it up, Could this also be an undercover fan fave? This might be my unicorn, I love the pricepoint, slightly less expensive than sephora brands and the bottles lasts. Let's go through it: NO STING - this is my #1 litmus test. I even did a run (and sweated) and it did not sting. The second priority for me is just overall texture and this stuff was is pretty perfect. At first I wasn't sure befcause it came out white, applied white, but then it dissapeared and went clear. ON top of that, i didn't feel like i was ""wearing"" another layer. it was really comfrotable. No white cast (even thlugh it has zinc), layered really nicely with my makeup. It's SPF + moisture, i see there is some squalene in there, so it's kind of a unique stand alone product, as in, I put this on and did not need moisturizer or primer. It's like it was a primer on it's own too? I didn't get tanned (woot), skin felt really comfortable, no scent. Found myself reaching for this every day and it ding ding, it's the winner (with the ""what am i reaching for in the AM"" litmus test) submitted by /u/wonanemi to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

[Misc] I love this face sunscreen but it’s a little pricey. After trying to get everything I can out of it normally, I cut it open and put it in and old lip gloss container. Gives me about 2 weeks of additional daily wear. Amazing how much waste there is in beauty product packaging.

[Misc] Bangs, sunglasses and a face mask, for when sunscreen just doesn’t seem like it’s enough. Anyone else feel like a silver lining of the pandemic is an excuse to wear a mask for the extra sun protection?

[Acne] Thanks to everyone who helped me figure out my skincare routine. Top pics were in March, bottom 5 mins ago. Turns out I’m also allergic to CeraVe tho so that sucks. Anything from them burns every time I put it on my face. Anyone have sunscreen suggestions for oily skin because of that?
