I was just scrolling through Facebook like normal and suddenly my account got disabled out of nowhere. I didn’t post anything or do anything unusual right before it happened. From what I’ve read on other Reddit posts, there’s supposed to be an appeal button when this happens, but I’m not seeing anything like that at all. I tried logging in, entered the OTP, and it just doesn’t give me any option to appeal. Other posts gave a link to appeal but it isn’t working anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? I haven’t used Facebook since like last year and today I just had a little security check and saw in my instagram meta to see logins in my Facebook account. Which came to reveal it said “phone” login in February 1. I obviously don’t remember logging in Facebook that day since I’m not using it for like a year now. I can get into facebook/messanger on my desktop, but not on my android (galaxy S21). Recently, I made a 2nd instagram profile for work, which was banned because they thought it was a fake/bot account, to which I went through the verification process and the account was unbanned. However, now, when I go to login into Facebook, I can't login. I enter the correct password, or have FB email a code for login. Both result in the same error message. Got randomly logged out of Facebook on desktop and couldn’t log back in. It kept saying my login info was incorrect (even though it wasn’t). What was weird: I could still use Facebook on my phone But desktop login + Ads Manager were broken At first, I tried going directly to: 👉 http://business.facebook.com/ But it didn’t work immediately. Then I cleared only Facebook cookies (facebook.com + www.facebook.com), tried again… and that’s when it finally worked. After that, my session started working again across Facebook. I got the new iPhone 17 Pro. But no matter what I try I can not login to my existing Facebook account with it. I get a error message “Unable to login”, even after entering the code sent to my phone number / email address. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times, changing my password, I’ve tried logging in on Safari with no avail, and I’ve tried restarting my iPhone. I get the same error message every time. I can still log into Facebook on my other devices such as my Mac. It just seems to be an issue on this new iPhone. I badly need to log in so I can manage ads for work, but nothing is working on desktop. My previously working password started resulting in a "The login information you entered is incorrect" error. Resetting via an email code always results in a "Something went wrong. Please try again later." The chatbot was able to provide me with a password reset link. Which I used and then tried to login in but I still get the "information is incorrect" error with the new password. I can access via my phone, but not on desktop no matter how many times I clear my cache or try a passcode. Update: business.facebook.com doesn't seem to work for me either. You can reach a real support rep through the Ads Manager App. They will likely not be able to fix the issue, but it might give it some visibility. Also attempted to login through Instagram, but the verification service does not appear to be sending the 2FA to my mobile device. Which also seems weird. Update: Seems like it has been resolved. I have to 2fa on my Facebook. one day I logged out of my Facebook and messenger account from my phone and tried to login back and they askes for approval and I approved from my browser on my PC and said "yes it is me but" it didn't work and they said "please try logging in again, unexpected error occurred" Then i tried to login by WhatsApp then SMS code and nothing worked they kept saying that it's wrong even though I literally copy pasted it everything was right, they kept saying that it's wrong and try another code. that day I tried to login in to my phone's browser with desktop mode and I approved from my PC just like I have to do for my Facebook and it straight of log in I don't know what's happening I can login with my Facebook and Messenger App but I can login to other Browser's and also on my phone's browser please help me how do I fix this and also another thing is that I waited 7 days without even trying any login attempts and then tried logging in back to my Facebook on my phone and the same thing happened again and the again sent "an unexpected error occurred, try logging in again" please tell me have anyone ever faced this? I’m losing my mind with Facebook’s login security and hoping someone here has seen this before. Here’s exactly what’s happening: • I try to log into Facebook on my computer • Facebook asks me to approve the login from my phone • I open the Facebook app on my phone and approve it • My phone literally says the login was verified BUT… Back on my computer, Facebook says “Your login request was rejected by the other device” Which makes no sense because I literally just approved it. Then right after that, I get a notification on my phone from Facebook saying: “We prevented a login” So Facebook approves the login… then blocks it… then tells me it blocked it. No VPN, same location, same Wi-Fi, same phone, same account I’ve used for years. I’ve tried different browsers, cleared cache, waited hours, same loop every time. Has anyone actually fixed this? Is this a known bug, account flag, or security glitch? And if you got out of it, what finally worked? Hello! I recently subscribed to the verification for one of my Facebook pages that is linked to my personal account. Since then I have gotten logged out and now have a popup everytime that does not let me do anything. I have attached the photo below of what it looks like. Has this happened to anyone else? If so can someone please help me. Facebook has zero ways of communicating with me and I can not even get texts through to myself. This is extremely frustrating. Thanks! Hello. Is there a way to make facebook webpage to be usable for not logged user? My account was deleted by facebook when I had not given them my identity documents to prove who I am, but I was still able to read public posts there as anonymous user. Then facebook added login banner which prevented user to use the page anonymously. I removed the banner with uBlock, but it didn't solve usability. Usually I can read first few posts, but after them, facebook disables functionality - I can't scroll page anymore, links seems to be not working anymore. Refresh page doesn't help. A few years ago I was dating a guy, we'll call him Erik. We had been together for about a year and in my mind I thought we were exclusive. Turns out, only I was the exclusive one, but that's a story for another time. He had a traveling job that took him all around the state of Texas so he was only home about 10 days a month. When he was home, he would stay at my house. I thought things were great. That was until my birthday came up. He started acting funny, very distant and cold. We didn't do anything for my birthday. No dinner, flowers, nothing. I don't expect the world to stop spinning on my birthday but I didn't even get a card and he never even wished me a happy birthday. He was home for a few days then back to work he went. So I started to put distance between us for a few weeks. Fast-forward to the next time he came home. He still came to my house for a few days so I thought things would go back to normal. Nope. Still distant. Couple days later he left for work again so I started thinking he was just using me for a place to stay while he was in town so he wouldn't have to stay at his mom's house. I worked 6-2 at a nursing home so I was already gone when he left. When I got home I noticed he emptied his wallet and left the papers (receipts and other random crap) on my coffee table. In that little pile was a small piece of paper that had his ex-girlfriend's (we'll call her Sarah) login info to her social media accounts. Weird. No wonder why they broke up if they distrusted one another so much that they needed to have the login to the other person's account lmao. I took that paper and went to his mom's house to use her laptop (this was 2011). I got in! In his phone he had deleted chats between them so I didn't know they were talking. She deleted nothing. They had been hooking up for a couple months. She would drive to wherever he was and stay with him at the motels. She had even messaged him photos of the times they spent together. Come to find out they had gone to a bar together for St. Patrick's Day when he had told me that he couldn't come home because he was on "storm duty". I was fuming. But she was also hooking up with other men. MANY other men. As a matter of fact, a couple of them were MARRIED! And she knew they were married because she would also meet them at motels. Disgusting. And again she shared pics of the encounters with them. If you're going to cheat, why would you be stupid enough to photograph that? AnyWho, I came across a chat between her and her Best friend’s fiancé. Of course I opened it, at this point I'm INVESTED. She was seeing him too behind her friends’ back! (who was pregnant at the time by the way). I saw the pictures and my heart dropped. I knew I had to do something. This b**ch has gone too far. I saved the pics then went to the best friend's fb and posted them from the homewrecker's account for everyone to see. Of course they had a gazillion mutual friends so half of the county saw those pictures. I didn't tell anyone for several years but looking back now, I still would've done the same thing. I’ve been reading Zucked about how terrible Facebook is with data privacy and security. One of the ways they (and google) harvest data is by giving people the ability to login to websites using their f/g account. Those websites do this to harvest more data for their nefarious purposes. (don’t do this, btw) This seems like an opportunity for Apple to create a relatively simple tool that could serve the same function but not collect the data. It would be a great shot across the bow to these companies, and providing a service without the downsides. I think It would make people more trusting of Apple.
