Best Facebook marketplace alternatives for the South Bay?
Hi 👋 I usually use FB marketplace for buying and selling used items but they are requiring me to upload my government ID to post anything. Does anyone know of any good platform alternatives for the South Bay you'd recommend for buying and selling used goods locally? I checked out OfferUp and Craigslist but there's not that many people on it. I'm wondering if there's another platform I'm missing that the southbay uses. I might just need to pretend it's 1999 and have a garage sale 🙃 Note: for those who take things very literally.... Yes, we know garage sales still happen in 2026. 😉 submitted by /u/PaleontologistNo6995 to r/SouthBayLA [link] [comments]

Frank Tufano allegedly scammed a Facebook Marketplace buyer for $2,000
I know the review date says April 7, but I just found out about this review now, since I was browsing Frank's Facebook Marketplace profile out of boredom (you can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/profile/100008260963159/). So Frank's auction purchases are paying off, because he allegedly sold someone a broken treadmill, or the guy must've had trouble setting it up. This is probably the only time I'm giving Frank the benefit of the doubt here, because as someone who also sells on eBay and Facebook Marketplace, buyers are a bitch to deal with, and everything is (usually) final sale. If the buyer tested the treadmill at Frank's warehouse and it was working before he bought it, but it no longer works when he got home, I can understand why Frank would be upset about being asked for a refund, because anything could have happened to it during transit. Knowing Frank's narcissistic personality, it's likely that he (Frank) knew that the treadmill he was selling was nonfunctional and tried to pass it off as "like new," lying to the buyer, stating that it was in "working" condition. Oh, and it's funny how the buyer found out about who Frank Tufano was after he supposedly scammed him out of $2,000. Here's the listing if you want to take a look: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1315211656484155 submitted by /u/ChaoticJeans to r/FrankTufano [link] [comments]

Do people really send money via Venmo for items on Facebook Marketplace?
I listed my old Switch for sale on Facebook marketplace since I picked up a Switch 2. Someone messaged me today wanting to buy the item and pick it up next week. They sent me half to hold them time until then. The sent via Venmo. I’ve never used Venmo to send money since it seems there isn’t buyer protection like PayPal. What’s the deal? Is there a scam I’m missing here? I feel like I’ve seen plenty of scams from my time in the sports memorabilia circle. But I’d never send someone $100 after just a few messages with no one to vouch for them. submitted by /u/hxh22 to r/NoStupidQuestions [link] [comments]

Decluttering is not a side hustle
I’ve never been compelled to list anything online for sale. I just don’t have the motivation or the time. My retired mother volunteered to list things for me on Facebook marketplace (after she saw all the nice brands I was hauling to donate). Every time she’d sell something I’d be grateful for her help but then I’d feel just depressed. Yep got $20… for that $80 coat I wore a few times oh goodie… My mom seemed to think it was “free money” but I felt like it was just more steps and reminders that I shouldn’t have bought the thing to begin with. It was like getting paid $20 to feel guilty and ashamed of my cluttered life. Each sale just felt like more failure to me. Tonight I gave away some really expensive very re-sellable boots to a younger broke coworker. I never wore them, bought them years ago etc. My mother stopped by today and saw them in my car and disapproved of me giving them away. “That’s money!!” Out of nowhere my response was “That’s not the point. I want someone to appreciate and wear these, the point isn’t to make money.” I didn’t even point out that it’s not really making money when we sell everything at a loss anyways. She rolled her eyes at me like I’m careless and childish for being uninterested in the side hustle. Tonight I felt so free just giving away good items rather than trying to “get what I can” for them. I know this advice isn’t for everyone, just thought I’d share my new take on selling items. submitted by /u/Admirable_Dress_7763 to r/declutter [link] [comments]

When does a seller ask too many questions about your items for sale?
I went through the most ridiculous process last night. I've sold hundreds of items in my life online and I've never once had someone like her contact me. Had a lady reach out to me over Facebook marketplace on one item that I'm selling. I noticed her ratings, she has 36, 5 out of 5 star reviews. So I figured okay she's probably not wasting my time. She seems serious. She kept asking me question after question after question after question. Many of them she could have just googled but I was nice and answered them for her. Next thing you know, 4 hours later shes still asking me questions, despite her asking me 3 hours prior asking when and where we can meet. I counted all the questions, she asked me total 24. She even asked me for proof of purchase of the item and since I figured she was serious in buying it, I dug up my receipt and I was nice enough to send her a screenshot. Finally last night, she said she was going to get back to me in the morning in terms of meeting up and she did. She messages me back this morning saying weather is too cold for her so we will meet up another day. So I left the chat and I marked the item as sold, so that I no longer have to deal with any more idiots like her. Sometimes it's just not worth it. I will sell it through another online platform. I went through all of that for nothing? She just exhausted me. She kept asking me questions, one after another. When we were setting a time and place to meet, she then asked why we are meeting at a public place and that she's used to going to peoples homes when buying something. I said I dont have people that I dont know come to my house. I was nice enough to answer every single one of her questions even though I'm going to start drawing a line for now on. What am I, a retail store? Whats your limit in terms of when you say enough is enough to the endless charade of questions? submitted by /u/National_Word_6091 to r/FacebookMarketplace [link] [comments]

Unopened Electronic Items for sale on Facebook Marketplace at discount
I've been shopping for a new phone and became interested in the Google Pixel 10. On the Google website, they are listing it for $850 but I see multiple facebook marketplace ads for a brand new unopened for like a few hundred dollars less at like $650. And it's not just this phone either. I see a lot of unopened Macbooks, etc. Are these actually legit or scams? Lost a $120 sale on a PS3 game lot after the buyer filed a chargeback for items “not as described”
I sell used PS2, PS3, and a few older arcade titles online, mostly through Facebook Marketplace and a small Shopify storefront I run on the side. It’s mostly a hobby turned side hustle: I hunt flea markets, estate sales, and sometimes do trades with local collectors. Last month I listed a small bundle: five PS3 titles (GOW, Metal Gear Solid , Gran Turismo 6, Skate 3, and Red Dead Redemption) plus a PS2 copy of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 that still had its original manual. I clearly wrote in the description that all discs were tested on my own consoles, included pictures of the loading screens, and even circled the surface scratches in close up shots. The buyer messaged me through Marketplace, asked for a small discount if I shipped Priority, and then paid through Shopify Payments with a Visa debit. I packed the games in a bubble wrapped mailer, added cardboard reinforcement, and dropped them off at the post office. Tracking showed “Delivered” three days later. A week goes by, and suddenly I get a chargeback notice: Reason Code: Merchandise Not As Described. The buyer claimed “two discs wouldn’t load” and that the cases were “cracked.” I replied to the payment processor with my photos, screenshots of the discs running, and even the USPS tracking info showing no damage report. I asked the buyer through Messenger if they had tried cleaning the discs or testing on another console but got no response. Visa still sided with them. I lost $120, the games, and a $15 shipping label. What stings is that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 alone could have fetched $80 to $90 locally. It makes me wonder if they just swapped out their scratched copies and sent nothing back. Has anyone here actually won a similar case on used media? I’m debating whether to tighten my return policy or stop offering shipping altogether, but shipping makes up half my sales. Any advice on better documentation or a different payment processor that takes seller evidence more seriously? submitted by /u/Mundane_Tap3436 to r/chargebacks [link] [comments]

I got tired of looking for discs on facebook groups, so I built a Disc Golf Marketplace.
Honestly, I was just getting annoyed trying to hunt down specific discs scrolling through endless Facebook groups and dealing with sketchy sellers. It felt like a massive waste of time. So I went ahead and built my own solution—Disco Marketplace. The features are simple: -the seller doesn’t get the funds from a sale until we confirm the item has successfully shipped -Custom analytics on sales and active listings to help you accurately price your discs over time. -Easy Seller Onboarding: We’ve partnered with Stripe to ensure secure, hassle-free payments. -List just one disc, or batch list you’re whole collection at once from mobile or desktop -Order from multiple seller’s at once, bundled shipping allows for cheap shipping if purchasing multiple disc’s from one seller. It’s brand new and I’m still tweaking things, but I’m pumped about making the disc golf buying and selling process way smoother. If you’re sick of dealing with messy Facebook groups too, check it out here: Let me know what you think! Open to feedback and ideas. submitted by /u/Wide_Anywhere_8850 to r/discgolf [link] [comments]

Why boycotting kindle/amazon hurts everyone BUT amazon
I looked at my royalties dashboard this morning and wondered if writing books is going to continue being viable for much longer. There’s a misconception that authors just sit down, type out a book, and hit publish. In reality, writing books comes with costs—editing, cover design, formatting, advertising—and those expenses don’t go away just because sales drop. For indie authors, every sale matters. Every page read in Kindle Unlimited counts. A drop in sales isn’t just a statistic on a graph. For most indie authors, it’s the difference between paying a bill or losing a home, putting food on the table or not, keeping the lights on or falling into financial ruin. And right now, sales are dropping. I know why. I know people are boycotting Amazon this month, and I understand their reasons. If you believe in the cause, you should absolutely follow your convictions. But as indie books and small businesses struggle to stay afloat, I can’t help but think about who really gets hurt when Amazon loses sales. Spoiler alert: it’s not Jeff Bezos. First, a quick reality check. Jeff Bezos doesn’t own Amazon the way most people think. He stepped down as CEO in 2021, and while he still holds stock, he owns less than 10% of the company. The real money behind Amazon is in institutional investors, major funds, and corporate stakeholders, none of whom will feel a blip from a short-term boycott. And Amazon itself? The company doesn’t make most of its profit from the online store. Amazon Web Services (AWS)—which powers everything from Netflix to government websites—brings in more profit than the retail side ever has. But the boycott isn’t targeting AWS—it’s targeting Amazon’s storefront, the marketplace where people buy books, household items, electronics, and third-party goods. So who really suffers? Third-party sellers, indie brands, independent authors, and marginalized voices who depend on Amazon’s platform to be heard. Amazon makes billions from its own products (Echo, Kindle, Amazon Basics) and big-name brands that are sold in most tech stores as well as the Amazon storefront. But small businesses and indie authors rely on Amazon for visibility and sales. And for many BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and disabled authors, Amazon provides one of the few accessible and equitable platforms to publish and reach readers without the barriers of traditional publishing. For indie authors, Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and Kindle Unlimited (KU) programs are our main way of reaching readers. Many of us are exclusive to Amazon because KU requires it. That means when sales drop, even for a week, our books lose ranking, visibility, and future income. Since KU ebooks can’t be sold anywhere else, there’s no alternative way to support these authors outside of Amazon, unless they offer direct sales … which often doesn’t help, because a lot of authors buy their copies from … yeah, you got it … Amazon. And if you’re outside of the US (either as a reader or an author), shipping fees to get those books can cost more than the book itself, and just isn’t financially viable. But it’s not just books. Many small businesses use Amazon’s third-party marketplace to sell everything from handmade goods to specialty products. When sales decline, it’s not Amazon losing money—it’s these businesses taking the hit. And if the boycott does make an impact on revenue? The first people to feel it, beyond authors and small sellers, will be Amazon’s employees. Corporate executives won’t be the ones taking pay cuts. Instead, Amazon will do what corporations always do. They’ll cut warehouse staff, reduce contractor hours, and lay off employees at the lower levels. The truth is, boycotting the Amazon store won’t hurt the people at the top. Amazon’s true power and revenue come from AWS, advertising, and logistics, not book sales or third-party retail. Even if every indie author and small business vanished from Amazon tomorrow, the company would continue making millions. But for those of us who depend on the platform? It’s everything. The store isn’t just a corporate giant, it’s where readers discover our books, where small brands find customers, where indie authors have a chance to compete. The boycott might make a statement, but not to Amazon. It won’t even shake Amazon’s foundation. It will, however, disproportionately impact the very authors and creators who already face systemic barriers in the industry. If someone truly wanted to cut ties with Amazon’s influence, they’d have to stop using services like Netflix, Reddit, Zoom, Spotify, Facebook, and even parts of the government’s infrastructure. The reality is that Amazon’s reach goes far beyond its online store, and a short-term boycott of the marketplace won’t significantly impact the billion-dollar empire. There’s also a certain irony in calling for an Amazon boycott in response to its business practices while continuing to use platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or Reddit—companies that have faced their own controversies over data privacy, labor practices, and monopolistic control At the end of the day, it’s not about telling anyone what to do, but about recognizing where the real power, and the real impact, lies. But if you’re boycotting to make a statement against Amazon’s leadership, just know that the biggest impact won’t be felt at the top, it’ll be felt by the small businesses, indie authors, third-party sellers, and Amazon employees who rely on the platform to make a living. Whatever you decide to do, thanks for reading and supporting indie creators! **this is not my personal post, just copy/pasting it here to share the info after the recent upheaval about Amazon changing the ability to download your books submitted by /u/MissNikitaDevan to r/kindle [link] [comments]

[IL] Bf posted a fire chiefs badge for sale on facebook, police dept shows up demanding he give it back as
My boyfriend purchased a fire chiefs badge for a neighboring city at an estate sale roughly two years ago. He put it on facebook marketplace to sell it to get some extra cash. Now, the police and fire dept from the neighboring city contacted us and said that it was stolen and they want it back. They went as far as showing up on our doorstep to demand it back (they are in a different city and county, so they don’t have jurisdiction here). The badge has no serial numbers or badge number — so there’s no way to identify the badge outside of the name of the city and that it says fire chief on it. We told them that we wanted to contact a lawyer and see what our options were, because we paid a lot of money for this item and don’t want to lose the money we invested in buying it. We don’t even know how they got our address. We don’t use our full name on Facebook. We think they used another profile and posed as an interested buyer who my bf gave the address to and then they just showed up here with four or five officers. This is all happening in Illinois. And the badge is a vintage badge, probably from the seventies. Any advice would be appreciated. submitted by /u/Sea_Examination9445 to r/legaladvice [link] [comments]

Deal of a lifetime, seller threatening legal action unless I return
For many years, I have flipped large items locally on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace. I found an amazing deal on Facebook marketplace for an Ingersoll Rand diesel compressor posted for $1500. Models in good working condition were listed for $14,000. I almost thought it was a scam, but there were none of the usual red flags of a scam ad. The ad stated it ran rough and would need some work. I decided to take the risk and check it out. I drove an hour and 45 minutes to meet the seller, and it was a young woman who was selling for her husband who was out of town. The compressor would not start up but the engine would turn over. Still an amazing deal and I am mechanically inclined, so paid asking price in cash and towed it home. The compressor had bad fuel and 2 bad injectors. Went through and drained the fuel, replaced fuel filter, injectors, and changed the oil. Ran like a dream after. I sold it 6 days later for $12,500 which is one of my best flips. Several days later I get a message from the seller stating that her husband told her the wrong price, and meant to post it for $15,000, not $1,500. She demanded I return the compressor and she would refund my money, and is getting very irate. I told her I already fixed and sold it, and she threatened to sue, stating I took advantage of her. The thing is, it didn’t run so figured it had significant mechanical issues reflected in the price, I would not have bothered if the price was $15,000. I now have at least 10 hrs invested and some cost of my own. A side note - I use a separate Facebook profile for marketplace transactions and a google voice number on Craigslist, so I don’t think she has my actual identity. Should I simply block her? Is there any legal action she could take? I did screenshot the ad. Part of me understands it sucks to be in her position, but I held up my end of the deal and have time and money invested in this. EDIT: She only became irate and threatened legal action after I told her it was sold, stating that I took advantage of her and should have known it would not actually be for sale for $1500. However if the engine was not functional, it would be worth less. Sounds like I am in the clear, and have since messaged her that since she has threatened legal action, I will only respond to her legal counsel if they reach out, and to cease all contact with me. Then I blocked her. I have saved all conversations and the original posting before it was deleted. submitted by /u/Sanderson4991 to r/legal [link] [comments]

Flip of a lifetime, seller threatening legal action unless I return it
For many years, I have flipped large items locally on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace. Ways to supplement your income here in the UK
With Christmas coming up and costs continuing to rise, I thought it might be useful to repost this list of ways you can earn some extra money here in the UK. I know when people typically think of using sites/apps to earn a few extra quid that "50p surveys" are the first thing that comes to mind, so I'm sharing this list to show that there are much better options out there for folks in the UK who have some spare time on their hands and could use an extra few hundred pounds. So with that said, I decided to create this guide detailing how I would approach a few different scenarios because, after 2 years of earning money from online work and having tried out many different means of generating extra income, I'd like to think I can offer some advice in this area. The 3 Scenarios are: (1) How I would go about Earning £200-£300 in the next 30 days if I had no money to spare. (2) How I would go about Earning £400-£500 in the next 30 days if I had £100-£200 to spare. (3) How I would go about Earning ~£150 from referral offers. 1-2 days needed to complete, Payout times vary from one day to several weeks. Part 1: Earning £200-£300 in 30 days (No money needed) If I was dead set on making an extra £200-£300 in the next month or so, the sites below would be my target for online earning. Of course, I can't guarantee exactly how much I will earn from using these sites every month, but below you can see how much I earn on average from using them. I don't have any special skills or qualifications. When I started working on these sites, I had no experience in any of the types of work that I do now. If I can work on these sites and Earn £200-£300 per month, then you definitely can too. Userlytics / Ustertesting (£30-£60 per month): With this site, you test out the usability of apps and websites and get paid for it. The pay can be very good and the work itself is actually very engaging. I quite enjoy using this site. Your work will consist of completing a series of tasks and instructions and interacting with prototype or production websites or mobile apps while speaking out loud to share your thoughts, emotions, criticisms, and suggestions. It probably sounds very different to the type of online work you usually do because, well, it is. It's certainly a site where the work doesn't feel like a chore, I would highly recommend it. Appen (£50-£200 per month): So this is a site where you can apply to work on various projects and tasks online. I open the Appen app daily and there's never a day when I'm not greeted by a variety of tasks that I can apply for. The rate of pay is very competitive, with some jobs paying up to $20-$25 per hour. Most jobs pay around $15-$20 per hour (which is still fantastic for online work) and I have never found it difficult to qualify for projects. The site is legit and it actually feels like real work for good pay. The potential earnings from this site over the course of a year can easily enter the £100s or even £1000s, so if it's not on your radar it really should be. Apply for as many projects as you can, it's well worth taking the time to apply because even if you get one project, that's hours of work at a great hourly rate. Prolific (£20-£60 per month): I would go as far as saying it's one of the top task/survey/study sites out there. With Prolific you get paid cash for engaging in the research of Academics and Universities from around the world. There are Surveys and studies about scientific research, new products and public opinion. From minutes to hours, to multi-part studies over longer periods, there's a respectable range of studies to participate in. It Pays out to Paypal, has a range of interesting surveys and the studies on the site pay a minimum of $6.50 per hour. You should also install the browser extension for chrome so that you get surveys while they're going. Neevo (£30-£40 per month): Companies submit projects to Neevo to help improve their AI systems. When you’re a match for a project, you’ll be asked to complete a set of simple tasks, which could be in the form of text, audio, images or even video. It's a straightforward 'task for pay' site. They payout through Paypal and the variety of projects is good. Also, I think it's cool that you're helping to train AI, although this is the basis for most of these 'task for pay' sites nowadays. My advice would be to keep your eyes peeled for projects with bigger payouts, Some of the lower-paying projects aren't really worth it for the time you need to put in. Dscout (£20-£50 per month): So with this site you are rewarded for helping with Market Research. The way this works is that you are given "missions" where you offer your opinions/feedback on various products or services in exchange for payment. The Pay is very good and payout is received promptly through Paypal. I also like that you answer photo and video questions, it keeps me that bit more engaged. Check as often as you can for available missions and apply for all of them. It may take a little bit of time to get your first mission but once you do, more and more will appear. Respondent (Payout varies quite a bit but definitely has high earning potential): I'm sure some of you have heard about Respondent, It's a site where you get paid for taking part in various studies. The studies can be both remote and in-person but these days most of the available studies are remote. It doesn't take long to apply to studies so even if you don't qualify, you haven't wasted too much time. Also, the pay is excellent when you do qualify, with studies paying between $15-$200, depending on the type of study and the amount of time it takes (Generally ranges from 15 minutes to an hour). It's not a site that you can depend on for frequent payouts, but even if you land a few studies that pay $50, $100, $150 etc each, you're doing very well for the time you put in, So I think this one is worth checking every day if you have 5 minutes to spare. Intellizoom (£20-£40 per month): This is a site similar to Respondent where you get paid to take part in studies. It doesn't take long to set up your profile and get started and some people I know have had a lot of success using this site. UserInterviews (£30-£60): Another site where you can take part in studies and get paid for it. Some people seem to have a lot of luck with this site, and it pays quite well too. Also: These Earners are a little different since they aren't really 'online work', but they have served me well in the past too... Facebook Marketplace: Sell your old stuff. This one should honestly be mentioned in every thread where someone has asked how to make some extra cash in a hurry. We all have stuff we don't use anymore lying around the house and as obvious as it may sound, the items that seem old and worthless to you will be new and exciting to someone else. I'm talking anything, literally anything: Old clothes, books, plant pots, technology you don't use anymore, pots and pans, empty jars, homemade crafts etc. Old Clothes seem to really sell fast, which isn't surprising because people get excited when they see something that's their style and really cheap. So clear out your wardrobe. If you're into crafts, you could sell stuff you've made there too. Last summer I made large painted flower beds out of pallets and sold them, just because I had some pallets and paint laying at home. The point is, You could easily make £50-£100 or more if you do a thorough sweep of your house for stuff you don't want/use anymore. Vinted: A fantastic Site/App where you can sell your old clothes. Maybe it doesn't sound like your thing or you don't think you have anything fashionable enough to sell. Believe me, You can sell any item of clothing here. Old hoodies, shoes, gifted clothing that you never wore etc. I've sold my old clothes here in the past and been pleasantly surprised with a nice few sales. Fiverr: Offer your services as a Freelancer and get paid. You can earn a lot from the "gigs" you post, but you'll need to have some kind of service you can offer that people will pay for. I'd recommend taking a look at what other people are posting and seeing if you could offer similar work. Rover: Saving the best for last. This one is quite a lovely site where you can offer your services as a dog sitter/dog walker. You can have dogs dropped off at your home and get paid to look after them for a duration of time. It's ideal for people who miss having pets or who get a bit lonely working from home sometimes. The pay is usually around £20 per day for dogsitting, maybe £6-£10 for dog walking. If you're at a loose end anyway or just feel like having a furry companion during your free time, This site is a lovely way to earn a little money and make some canine friends. You just make a profile and enter your address so people in your area can find you, Bonus points if you have a dog in your profile photo with you. Part 2: Earning £400-£500 in 30 days (£100-£200 needed) This one is quite a unique means to make extra money in a short period of time, It's called Matched Betting. It's a very simple process but it's imperative that you read the Guides in full before you begin. Matched Betting is where you use bookmaker sites to complete various 'Free Bet' offers (e.g Bet £10, Get £30 in Free bets), but the whole idea behind the process is that every time you "make a bet", you match that same bet on the exchange (meaning the value of your qualifying bet will always be returned to you). So for example, if I bet £10 for Real Madrid to Win on the Bookmaker Site at odds of 2.5, I then also make a Matched bet on the Exchange (This is a separate site such as Smarkets or Betfair) where I bet for Real Madrid not to win at odds of 2.5 (or as close as I can get to those odds). In this way, I am covered in all outcomes (win, lose or draw), and it allows me to fulfil the requirements of the bookmaker's offer (e.g Bet £10 and get £30 in Free bets). The money from my initial bet has now been returned to me and I also have a £30 free bet credited to my account. When I receive my £30 free bet, It's the same process of matching again but this time using my free bet on the bookmaker site. This is where I secure a profit, because I'm not using 'real money', and even if I lose on the bookmaker site, I will be paid out on the exchange. This one is great if you can spare some money to get started. Your money isn't 'invested' or 'tied up' in anything, It's just that you'll need cash in order to complete the various free bet offers. You can withdraw your money at any time, but most people leave £100-£200 in their accounts just because it's easier than depositing money every time you want to do an offer. Over the course of 30 days, that £100-£200 or so will grow to £600-£700. The main advantage of Matched Betting is that it really doesn't take a lot of time to hit that £500 profit mark. Over a 4 week period, I worked my way down through the list of welcome offers, nice and handy, and having completed 20 offers at 15 minutes per offer, I came out at £470 for 5 hours total of work. Not to knock paid projects/survey sites, but if you don't have the time or desire to invest in that kind of online work, the obvious advantage with Matched betting is speed and simplicity. EDIT: I've received a lot of messages asking for more resources on matched betting. For those interested, you can find the process explained in full detail in this Guide. NOTE: If you have a history with gambling, do not come near Matched Betting. Matched Betting is not gambling, but the fact you will be using betting websites to facilitate a profit is too much of a temptation- It's not worth it. Part 3: Earning ~£150 from Referral Offers The offers below will allow you to earn a minimum of ~£150. This is a handy list if you need to earn a decent amount of money in a short amount of time. For a lot of these offers, you can withdraw the money you earn back to your bank account in the same day, but for a few of the offers, it will take longer. Important: In order to get the bonuses from the offers below, you will need to sign up to each app/site through a referral link. There is a subreddit called 'beermoneyuk' where you can find referral links for any of the below-mentioned offers by searching the subreddit for 'Zilch', 'Luno', 'Snoop' etc. and you'll find plenty of posts with referral links and more detailed steps on how to complete each of the offers below: Zilch (£5): Sign up through a referral link, Verify your ID and you will see 500 points (worth £5) appear in your account. Shares (£5): Sign up through a referral link and verify your ID. Deposit £1 and you will Instantly receive £5 which you can withdraw after 30 days. Snoop (£5): Sign up and link a bank account. Absolutely free, No Deposit or Purchase necessary. Monese (£10): Deposit and spend £1 to receive £10 to your account. Monzo: (£5) Deposit and spend £1 to receive £5 to your account. Mode (£10): You make a deposit of £20, buy £20 worth of Bitcoin, sell the £20 worth of Bitcoin back to GBP again and you get your £10 credited Instantly (It will show as pending and be available to withdraw in 24 hours). Coinbase (£27): No deposit or purchase needed, just go to the site and earn ~£15 by learning about different cryptocurrencies. Earn an additional £12 by signing up to the site through Quidco and making a single transaction. There is no minimum amount for this transaction, simply buy the smallest amount of a cryptocurrency that you can on Coinbase and you will be eligible for the cashback. Revolut (£12): Sign up to Revolut and go to the "learn" part of the crypto section of the app, you can earn around £12 for completing the cryptocurrency quizzes, which you can then convert to GBP and withdraw. Remitly: (£23): Make a transfer of £100 ( to yourself) and only pay £75, securing you a profit of around £23 after Remitly's transaction fees. Swissborg (€1- €100): Deposit £100/ €100, Don't buy anything. As soon as you make the deposit you will get a Reward Token, you 'scratch it' to reveal an amount between 1-100 euros in the app's currency, sell it back to euros/GBP and instantly withdraw your original deposit + Profit. And that's it, I hope this guide will be of help to some people, if you have any questions or suggestions don't be afraid to comment.
