Thinking of buying Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water as a toner before my actives. Skin: combo–oily, hot & humid climate. Actives Routine: niacinamide, alpha arbutin, salicylic & lactic acids (not together) i'm not consistent with all but I've started using since 6+ months. Beginner Retinol planned in a month or so. Personal Experience: Right off the bat, this feels more like a toner than an essence. It's watery with a slight herby scent which is a given since the main ingredient is ginseng. I’d heard mixed reviews on this and claims that it broke people out and didn’t do much. I didn't gravitate towards this from the start because it seemed to to nothing butttt when I started breaking out this really did calm my skin and prevented angry acne outbursts. I generally reach for this when there's incoming acne. It’s also non comedogenic. As for wrinkles, I wouldn't be the best person to ask. Who is it for? Hi everyone! I wanted to start using more K beauty skincare products as my skin is fairly acne free, but struggles more with small bumps (texture issue), tiny dots/patches of (irritated?) skin, dryness, and discolouration around my eyes, mouth, chin and on my cheeks (right where contouring usually goes so natural contour for the win?), while also being sensitive. I really want smoother skin that is brighter and work on improving my biggest insecurity, which is discoloured skin. I currently use the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, which has greatly improved my skin from what it used to be 2-3 years ago. I just wanna step it up and achieve a healthy, even-toned complexion. I don't like wearing make up and when I do go to functions, its annoying to cake on different shades of makeup to try and balance out my tones. Hey guys! So I created a step by step guide to help players navigate the map and find what you’re looking for. At the bottom of every chapter I created a list of what you should get in every chapter. If you wish to explore for yourself and just have a checklist that’s fine as well! I have included all the spirits, wine, soak, weapon , armour, curio below! I(21f) have oily and sensitive skin, and want to incorporate a toner during my AM routine that is hydrating , gives me a glow but not heavy. I have ordered cosx full fit propolis toner but heard its not that lightweight and would be good for PM but not during day since i have to apply sunscreen too. So I’ve finally finished this BOJ toner after 6 months of daily use. Will not repurchase. It all started last year when I got a few sample sachets of Sulwashoo’s First Care Activating Serum. It smelled heavenly of ginseng and felt so cushiony on my skin. I was in love but definitely not going to pay hundreds for just a serum (I live in SE Asia). I obviously know nothing about skincare, because I thought this BOJ ginseng essence water would be a dupe for the Sulwashoo for a fraction of the price LOL. I was decepted by the golden colour and the word “ginseng”. Oh well. I felt like it did nothing for my skin. It was like applying a very lightly hydrating water.
