Apple seems to make the most sense as I have the entire Apple ecosystem, but most people use Google Calendar to set up meetings. The only thing keeping me in GTK land on most of my machines is the GNOME Calendar which works flawlessly for syncing and showing me all my Google Calendars (4 of them). KOrganizer has really outdated UI and also it is very unreliable with online accounts in my experience. I tried installing the GNOME Calendar on Fedora 43 KDE but the online accounts never worked. Apparently it relies on a deeper integration of Online Accounts in GNOME. Could anyone recommend such a robust calendar-only application that works well on KDE? Flatpaks and Electron apps are fine at this stage too. Note that I do NOT want a mixture of calendar and email like Thunderbird. Title. I use Google Calendar and Alarmy to remind me of all my tasks regarding my son and the house. Alarmy is an alarm app that blasts an extremely loud sound and requires me to perform simple calculations to disable. So I cannot mindlessly dismiss it. These apps are of tremendous help to me. As a consequence of my ADHD I also have trouble predicting what is going to be necessary, so communication is a must. Not only my wife wishes me to predict lots of stuff I can barely notice, she is also offended by the fact that my solution to the problem is inputting everything in apps. To her it's as if I wasn't being truthful or mindful of those tasks. As if that symbolized that I am not really engaged to the family or her. It's hard to explain because I don't understand this fully myself. As an ADHD person I feel like I'm drowning and someone prohibited me from holding a wooden board lol.
