Govee Ceiling Fan for Porch
Has anyone installed this unit outside? Looking to install a fan outside on my front porch and like the idea of adding the product to my collection. Any advice appreciated. submitted by /u/Rucker1063 to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Defective Govee Fan?
My govee ceiling fan install went great, and the hardware looks excellent, unfortunately, the matter integration is failing to report 8 of the 10 devices in the unit. I am only getting 1 light entity and the fan entity. How do I get the unit I bought to function with the features promised? submitted by /u/lonesometroubador to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Trying to find a solution so I can use Govee bulbs in my ceiling fan
In the U.S., for context - as I know sockets and such vary from country to country. Ignore the dust, lol - I took the pic from a random ceiling fan in the house to use for an example. Anyway…our ceiling fans have these older GU24 “lock-in” sockets. So annoying… In my game room, I’m using some GU24 to E26 adapter and a set of Magic Home RGB lights. They fit, but barely. Prob with the adapter is that they make the socket bulkier and I can’t find any good low-profile ones. Anyway, before getting those Magic Home bulbs, I did try an older model Govee A19 bulb, but they were pressing against the ceiling fan dome and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving it like that. Anyway, I see Govee has newer models, since the ones I got was way back in 2022. I’m just worried that it will be the same scenario and Govee doesn’t seems to make smaller bulbs than the A19 with a normal U.S. “medium” screw-in base. This is the one I ordered back in 2022: https://a.co/d/089d8M0q And this is the “new” model I’m looking at: https://a.co/d/01n2WLKZ or https://a.co/d/03567Dr1 Dimensions all seem the same, tho. 🫤 Any thoughts or ideas on how I can make a Govee bulb work? I got the new Govee Lantern Lamp and the Floor Lamp 3 coming from Amazon, so I’m in an RGB upgrade mode and would really love to get some proper Govee bulbs in my ceiling fan! Thanks in advance! 😎 submitted by /u/Namdnas78 to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Ceiling fan and Alexa integration?
It’s not great. Alexa can’t differentiate between the light and the fan, so the only way to voice control turning the fan itself on is create a bunch of tap to run scenarios for each speed you want and then run the tap to run scene in Alexa mapped to a voice command like “fan on low”. This is annoying bc if the light is on, it will turn off bc the tap to run doesn’t have the light linked to it. And conversely if you use tap to runs in general, they always make you choose on or off for the fan, you can’t just choose its current state. So I think Govee needs to update how it talks to Alexa and they need to update their tap to run functions. Also the fact you can’t change brightness of both upper and lower lights independently…cmon Govee, thats basic stuff. Firmware update please? submitted by /u/pyrocompulsive to r/Govee [link] [comments]

My one complaint about the new Govee ceiling fan.
It’s too fast. Even on the lowest setting it’s faster than medium of my old fan or any other fan I’ve ever had. I like to leave fans on low just to keep air moving around but it’s so fast at level 1 it’s still blowing quite hard. submitted by /u/Ostentaneous to r/Govee [link] [comments]

How do I make my bedroom cooler when my parents set the AC to 78?
Hey everyone, I know 78°F isn’t technically super hot, but my room still feels really warm and uncomfortable, especially at night. My parents keep the AC set there and I can’t change it. I already have a Govee tower fan, and I always keep it on the highest setting, but it still doesn’t feel like it moves enough air or actually cools the room down. I also use a regular ceiling fan, but it doesn’t help much either. Does anyone have actual solutions that really work for cooling a bedroom in this situation? I’m open to anything—fans, window tricks, bedding, products, setups, whatever actually makes a difference. What works best when the AC is set high like this? submitted by /u/Status-Beautiful-586 to r/HomeImprovement [link] [comments]

New Govee 20-inch fan issue
I just installed the new Govee 20-Inch Ceiling Fan With Lights. Everything turned on and looked good until I put the fan in the oscillating mode and now it’s stuck there. If I turn it off, it just stays at an angle and doesn’t go back facing down. Just curious if anybody else has had this issue yet. I did fill out a Govee ticket. submitted by /u/ClubCally to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Govee’s New Ceiling Fan with Matter
I don’t understand how these have been tested for months and they release them with half baked Matter support. Only 1 light is visible through Matter and Reverse airflow is missing. On top of that the fan status does not correctly update through matter and will show off even when the fan is on. Is anyone having a good experience using these through a matter connected environment? submitted by /u/Jukens to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Ceiling Fan question
I received mine and got it set up. It runs really quiet which was a concern of mine. On the app and with the remote you can individually tie it to the light or the fan. I’m trying to set up my Govee buttons, I want to turn the lights off but leave the fan in its current state, but it seems like when configuring the button it makes you choose a state (on/off) for both fan and light. Am I missing something? Thanks! submitted by /u/DarkHorseCards to r/Govee [link] [comments]

To anyone who was asking how the ceiling fan looked at night……
I know people were asking for night time pictures. I took one picture of the universe scene setting to show the colors. Then, I took one of the white light to show how bright it can get. submitted by /u/BubbleMurray15 to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Preorder code for Ceiling Fan doesn't work.
Like the title says. I want three of these fans for my house at the promo rate. What do I do? Reach out to govee for a new one? Edit: I reached out to Govee about the issue. Hoping they respond quickly. Last edit : Govee reached out to me in an email and said it was some error that happened and gladly sent me a new code. I got the three I wanted and they'll be here on Wednesday! Thank you Govee. submitted by /u/iamnotsurprised343 to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Ceiling Fan Preorder Offer
I opened my Govee app this morning & there was a coupon, promo, offer, whatever, for preordering the ceiling fan. I dismissed it and it went away now I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone have an idea how to find something like that? submitted by /u/X-Ryder to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Are these ceiling fans just announced? I can't find anything on them.
there's an article about the middle caged one, the H1370, but nothing for the other two, the standard non-caged fans - the H1310 and the R1310 submitted by /u/YaChowdaHead to r/Govee [link] [comments]

Has anyone successfully mounted a Govee Ceiling Light Pro to a ceiling fan?
Hey all, quick question for the group. I’m looking at the Govee Ceiling Light Pro and wondering if anyone has successfully mounted one to a ceiling fan or replaced a fan light kit with it. Not just theory, but real-world installs. I know the light is designed for a standard ceiling junction box and that fans have balance, wiring, and mounting limitations. I’m trying to figure out if anyone has made this work safely by removing the fan’s light kit, using an adapter, custom bracket, or any other clean solution. If you’ve done it, I’d love to hear: • What fan model you used • How you handled mounting and wiring • Any balance or wobble issues • Whether you’d do it again If it’s a hard no, I’m good with that too, but I’d rather hear from someone who actually tried it instead of guessing. Appreciate any real experiences or photos. Thanks submitted by /u/guyv21 to r/Govee [link] [comments]
