Grow a garden 2 has major problems..
Okay, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, but i feel like grow a garden 2 has big problems. First off, you are only able to get 1 mutation per fruit. A big part of the appeal of the last game to me was stacking a bunch of mutations on a plant by leaving it there and getting mutations from weather and admin abuse. Now, that is completely taken away. I also notice that weathers take SO long to come. The seeds. Don't you think buying the expensive seeds should give you expensive fruit that give you your moneys worth? Why is the only good way to make money by spamming a bunch of bamboo? The scripting. It is insane, you would think a game this big would have some sort of anti cheat. But nope, nothing, or at least it does nothing. Every server has a scripter who instantly collects every gold and rainbow seed during events. The whole appeal of grow a garden is to make as much money as possible. This game feels INCREDIBLY limiting to me. I have 5 million sheckles right now and I have no idea how i will afford the better seeds like the moon bloom. And from what i've seen, its not even worth the money. My only good money source is from bamboo and it takes ages to get a just a million. Maybe this is their way to stop the crazy inflation from the last game, but i think they have taken it too far. It's going to kill this game quick once the hype wears off. submitted by /u/Other-Wonder7667 to r/growagarden2 [link] [comments]

I hate grow a garden 2
Seriously, what's the need? This is quite literally a game made just for a quick buck and for the devs to gain a bit of relevance again. If you really wanted a grow a garden 2, just update the original game! GAG 2 is LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME, just with STEALING, which is another issue: This game is a direct copycat of steal a brainrot, another cashgrab slop game. The devs saw SAB was doing well and decided to steal the only feature which defined that game. You might as well just hop on GAG 2 because now it has gardens and stealing! I'm sure it wouldn't kill to add a steal gamemode to the original game instead of wasting the time to create another one just for the sake of gaining popularity again, which is quite pathetic, because to me that's all this game is: it's a game made to give the developers some sort of relevance again, but the cold hearted truth is that people got bored of your game and stopped playing, so what's going to be the difference this time? That you added stealing? You can already do that in steal a brainrot, which people have, guess what, also got bored of. Overall I just find this game really stupid and petty, and advise everyone to avoid playing it submitted by /u/RB222485 to r/hatethissmug [link] [comments]

What happened to grow a garden?
I was a beginner at first like everyone, and I thought it would be boring, but i soon got addicted and started trying to collect exquisite plants, decorations and seeds. I had never once thought of pets until people started showcasing their giant mimics and raccoons instead of focusing on the actual part of GAG: growing a garden. now only 29.5K ppl bother logging onto the site and nobody wants to swap fruits anymore, all they do is "Pls gimme ur mimic, my mom is poor" and swapping mimics for raccoons. this is so sad I thought peole were nice in the GAG community, now they just steal things from innocent strangers... ughhhhh guys do you still play? submitted by /u/dangermonkey168 to r/growagarden [link] [comments]

Grow A Garden is (blatantly) breaking the Roblox Terms
For the amount of adults playing this game, how comes nobody has started pointing fingers at the game blatantly breaking the Roblox Terms? When one goes to steal an item, chances are it'll fail. But are we being told the odds of a fruit being stolen, even if it's 99% according to the Fandom wiki? Last I've checked (5 minutes ago), no we don't. And we never did once in my entire time playing the game (over 2 months now). So why does it break the Roblox's official Terms? By checking those terms, Creator Terms, Section 4 §b.v, citing: If a Creator provides the opportunity for a User to receive a Random Virtual Item, Creator must let Users know all odds of acquiring each type of Random Virtual Item available before a User engages in the transaction to acquire a Random Virtual Item. And stealing a fruit IS receiving a random virtual item, as you're not always receiving the fruit you're trying to sell, but instead can receive 100 sheckles. Grow A Garden has been, for as long as I've been playing, and possibly since its existence, breaking the terms and nobody flinched, even if supposedly stealing is what makes the most of their revenues. (This case is also a case of "Deceptive Marketing Practices", which I could not find a paragraph for in Roblox's term, that is however globally known as receiving a product that is not what you've paid for. As a recent example (Still in GAG, take the Koi fish, that was meant to increase's one hatch luck, which quickly became one's chance to recover a hatched egg)) submitted by /u/HumanRatingBot to r/growagarden [link] [comments]

My 4 year old’s trash garden is actually growing and I think I’ve made a mistake
So I have this 15gal barrel of dirt that I had every intention of using for some sort of productive gardening this year. When my daughter starts acting possessed I tend to grab trash vegetables or ancient dusty seeds and tell her to go plant it in her "garden". She spends an hour digging in the dirt and gets her demons out, I get an hour of silence- everybody wins! Well today she said her flowers were starting to grow in her garden! I thought they were probably just weeds but I went to check and low and behold I think she actually grew some trash vegetables! I do recall giving her a couple ancient pantry potatoes, 10 year old sugar snap pea seeds from dollar general, a bowl of cantaloupe innards and god knows what else. Well now I have to keep this barrel of soil as her garden for the rest of the season to see what grows or face her wrath. Next year I'll have to get her a patch of dirt in the ground instead lol submitted by /u/West_Tea_7437 to r/gardening [link] [comments]
