Talking about white trash hairstyles last night brought up some good memories. When I was a kid around 4 or 5 years old, I had one of those rat tail hairstyles, with the buzzcut and the super long braid in the back. I loved that thing, until I got it tangled in the chain of a swingset. The rest of my childhood and teen years, it was buzzcuts.

I don't know who hated Courteney Cox on this set but they did her so dirty. There were so many ways to make Dexter look young (like a different actor) and this whack ass wig was not it. The wig they slapped on Woody at the end of Venom was hilariously bad and the upgrade in the sequel wasn't much better. My decreasing enjoyment of each season of The Witcher was reflected in my decreasing enjoyment of how they styled Joey Batey's hair. JUST GIVE HIM HIS HAT. Remember these? I remember being fascinated by this particular fashion style ever since I was a kid (1996 kid here lol), watching them often appearing on Western television channels and being fascinated by the boys and girls rocking this attire. For your info I spent most my childhood in Taiwan so unfortunately this particular style never caught on. Material: 1 Hair stick/pencil, 1 big and 2 small hairties, 2-4 U-shaped hair pins Step 1: Make a ponytail and out of that ponytail two rope braids like in the second picture. If one of the braids is shorter than the other its just because you did one of the braids a little tighter than the other one. Don't worry about it. Step 2: Stick the hair stick/pencil just above your ponytail horizontally through your hair Step 3: Pull the braids up and cross them above your ponytail and pull them down behind the hair stick/pencil. Now cross them under your bun and pull them up again behind the hair stick/pencil. Continue wrapping your braids around your bun like this until you have no hair left. Step 4: Secure the braid ends with at least one U-pin each. But feel free to use as many pins as necessary.
