So after fucking about a bit with my program, I've realised I've been unfair with my opinion on clench handles. They are actually really good. They're very versatile, I just wasn't using them to their full potential. My new program consists of pullovers, lateral raises and goblet squats .. all of which utilise the clench handles and make the exercises a little bit more comfortable. I still stand by, the fact that when you go heavy on something like deadlifts, with the handles they become uncomfortable. But you can solve that problem with gloves, or clench do their version of fat gripz. I can't be bothered to buy those tho, mainly because I have small hands. I think if you're going to use the clench handles, you need to scout their YouTube channel and watch a few videos of how you can use them and for what exercises. You'll discover that they're actually really decent, you just need to know how to use them. The wooden ones are j Bryant's and I have been using them on heavy exercises. But they're not very good for things like shoulder pressing etc, as they don't leave enough room for your hands to fit comfortably. Also the clench door handle, is actually a game changer. Again. You have to learn how to use it. If you tie a knot in it, you can shorten the length. I've been using that more and more and it's starting to become quite valuable in my training. Sadly i''m not affiliated with Clench, to my dismay. I've spent a ridiculous amount of money with them tho and 90% of my gear is clench. Mainly because for the price I think they're the best and there's no competition. Harambe seems to be good, but clench is literally half the price for as good as, if not better quality. I have got a heavy duty bar q-deck on the way tho, so I'm excited to try that out and see how it compares to my current clench foot plate.
