RE:Anyone try the Holzfforma Fuel/oil container?
So far, not bad. It does not have “auto-shut-off” for oil, just the fuel side. I’s a little lower & wider so it’s more stable when you set it down. It also fits better in truck tool box. It feels lighter & cheaper than the Husky in the thickness of plastic tank. I’d say it’s a good tank for heavy homeowner, light commercial use, but as time goes by, that could change.

Apprentice Tool Box Advice Needed
I am starting my apprenticeship pretty soon, and I already have quite a lot of tools since its been my hobby for almost 5 years. I am in Canada, so no HB… currently my 2 options are the 5 drawer Maximum tool cart from Canadian Tire, or the 46 inch Husky tool box from Home Depot. The Maximum tool cart is easier to manage, its easy to move, can fit anywhere, etc… however, I think it would already be filled to the brim with my tools. The husky is slightly less manageable, its a bit bigger, different shape, etc… but I wouldn’t even be close to having it filled up yet, thus allowing me to grow into it for quite a few years. Which one should I get? submitted by /u/CalgarianSneakerhead to r/mechanics [link] [comments]

Help me decide tool box
I already own the red toolbox. It’s at my house and full of tools. I purchased it on sale for $500 from depot. It’s a ok tool box. There are things I don’t like about it. The top 3 draws are like 1/2” to short for anything larger than a screw driver. Flat bars and things like that do not fit. So I want to get a second toolbox and set 1 up for automotive tools and 1 for “home tools. I am thinking about getting the black one with the extension table on it and use it for home tools. And keep the red one for my automotive tools. Or get the larger toolbox for my automotive tools and use the red one for my home tools. My home tools I consider as woodworking stuff, chisels, flat bars, misc hardware, drill bits ect. There will be power tools in there also but nothing special. submitted by /u/Key-Security8929 to r/Tools [link] [comments]

Which tool box for a weekend warrior hobbyist?
Both options are about the same price. US General will be on sale for $799. The Husky option is the Heavy Duty tier, so it’s 19ga. Weekend warrior kinda hobbyist guy. Won’t be getting a top cabinet, I’ll need the workbench space. I like the wood top and soft close drawers. I also like the power and battery tool setup of the USG better. Any experience with both? Tool Box Placement
Unsure of this is a good place to ask but I just moved into a new house and at my old house I had my Husky tool box on this raised section of the garage at the front of the garage. However, in my new house the raised section is more narrow, being about 20" in depth while the toolbox from rear to front of the front wheel is about 22". Is there a way I can make this work or should I look to replace my toolbox with a more narrow depth one? submitted by /u/virus200 to r/Tools [link] [comments]

Are USG Husky the only real "budget" options for bigger tool chests?
I am looking to upgrade my 2 smaller boxes to a bigger 52-56 in tool chest in my garage. Just for home use and occasional wrenching on my car. I've been eyeing the husky heavy duty 52 in. The USG from HF seems kind of expensive especially after delivery. I don't have a truck so I would need to get it delivered. I know other ones exist like the crafstman at lowes, but I looked at this in person but it seems a lot cheaper quality for almost the same price. I also like the full size drawer in the middle for sockets which the crafstman doesn't have. Are there any other places/brands to look at in this range (around $1000)? submitted by /u/ILikeBeans86 to r/Tools [link] [comments]

Stacking tool box suggestions?
I want front drawers. My current issue husky is indefinitely out of stock. Dewalt seems like garbage. So that leaves rigid which I hadn't been able to see. Kline, milwalkee and flex. All stupid expensive. Open to suggestions. Mostly weekend for helping others. I'm the guy that people go to when they needed something. Its getting too difficult to move 6 tool bags to and from my truck. Im not a professional totally garage worker but need a pro solution to organizing and tool boxes. How does Husky heavy duty compare against US general tool cabinets?
So these come up on marketplace with pretty good discounts. The ones that have a dent are even cheaper. For example, right now in my area theres an open box 96" for sale and they're asking for $1100. The 54" with top chest is also listed and they want $750. The 96" tool boxes/cabinets come with a stainless steel top. Has anyone seen or used these in person? How does it compare against the USG equivalent boxes (I suppose that would be the 56" and 72" boxes... as close as it gets to these husky's). I do like that husky's have auto closing drawe slides.. but beyond that I know nothing about them. I appreciate any feedback you guys have. submitted by /u/Daihashi to r/harborfreight [link] [comments]

Are Modular Tool Boxes Just a Fad?
I've recently been interested in purchasing a modular tool box but have been overwhelmed by the amount of options. It got me thinking, are modular tool boxes a fad that will die out? or are they here to stay? It makes me hesitant to buy into a system as I'm worried that I'm just wasting my money on something that wont be around in the next 5 years or become obsolete and unable to connect with future boxes (I.e.
