This case is goated!!!
So, I recently saw a post on here about people buying the Caudabe case and giving them really good reviews. I wanted to buy a new case for my 17 pro max and decided to try it out. I went with the Sheath case in the canyon color and oh my god, it’s probably one of the best cases that I have ever bought. It’s definitely pricey but it’s so worth it. It feels so good while holding it. I do wish they offered the Sheath in the canyon color with a cut out for the camera bump instead of covering the whole camera bump. They do offer one without the camera cover but not in this color. I also got their 6-foot cable since if you paid over a certain amount, they would give you free shipping and I was already looking for a cable. At the end, it was cheaper getting the case and the cable than paying for shipping. The difference was very small but it still made sense. I read in here that people that someone had shipping issues but my experience was stress free and perfect! submitted by /u/Juancho_pablo_s to r/iPhone17Pro [link] [comments]

So 3 weeks in and i dented my 17 pro
So yeah, almost 3 weeks with my iPhone and I fucking drop the thing and dented (waist height), why TF are these things so fragile? It had case and thank God had screen protector, screen will be destroyed if don't... But yeah, my main question is if 1 year limited warranty from Apple would cover this, or should I get fucking Apple Care+? Thanks in advance Kind regards submitted by /u/pepesuntamente to r/iPhone17Pro [link] [comments]

I bought and tested pretty much every popular iPhone 17 Pro case so you don’t have to. Here’s my winners and losers.
Winner: Pitaka Ultra-Slim 1500D Aramid Fiber Case Why: This case might not offer the best drop protection, but I did drop it from 3 feet onto concrete and other than a small chip in the case, the phone was fine. It’s ultra light, ultra slim, feels good resting against the pinky finger, and feels good to hold. Other cases Magbak Elite: Excellent case! Just a little too “bulky” and square for my liking. It’s kind of heavy. The “pinky pillow” though is a real winner for comfort and I’m shocked that more cases don’t use this. The kickstand is strong and concealed well. Excellent drop protection. Benks Air Armor: Another great Kevlar / aramid fiber case similar to Pitaka but the Benks Air Armor case to me is just a slight step below Pitaka in terms of ergonomics and comfort in the hand. It’s also a bastard to get off the phone. Other than that, excellent case, and usually $20 cheaper than Pitaka. Tineeowl: The material and grip on this case is excellent but it’s so thick and bulky, which is a huge no-go for me. Seems like it would offer great drop protection, and has a great feel in the hand, but thick bulky cases to me just don’t cut it. Spigen ThinFit: I actually really like this case. This is the probably the safest option for a thin case with great drop protection. This case feels great in the hand, it’s slim, it’s got strong magnets, feels pretty comfortable in the hand and on the pinky finger. It’s also only like $20. It’s a little boring visually but it’s definitely in the top 3 rotation. Nudient Thin Case: I have no clue what the hype is about. I read everywhere online that this thin case was the best of the best, great grip, great feel, super thin and light. This case felt super cheap and flimsy. I think it’s all social media marketing and influencers with Nudient. The bottom of the case felt sharp. This feels like a case you would pay $5 or $10 for at five below. Nowhere near the quality of many of the other thin cases I’ve mentioned here. Rebel Gen7: This one is so interesting. I actually really like the feel and shape of this case. It’s kind of rounded in the right areas which give it a unique feel in the hand, and the pinky / charge port isn’t as sharp as I was expecting it to be. It’s actually very comfortable to hold, and I’m sure it offers amazing drop protection. The only issue I have with this case is that’s it’s thick and bulky, which again, is a no-go for me. EvoCheck Case: I love the material of this case. It’s like a soft plastic rubber. If the charge port / pinky finger area wasn’t so hard and uncomfortable on this case, it would probably be my daily. However, it’s really uncomfortable and this case also adds some height to the phone’s size. Spigen LiquidAir: A great, affordable case, however, I don’t believe it’s any thinner or lighter than the Spigen ThinFit case, which in my opinion is a much more comfortable and durable case when comparing the two. Torras Air Case with Kickstand: Very cool case! Actually feels very light and thin on the phone, the kickstand is very strong. It leaves the sides exposed which to me offers good ergonomics and grip. My only gripe is the bottom of the phone case which feels sharp on the pinky finger. Ringke Onyx: amazing phone case! Great grip, great feel, thin and light with great drop protection… but again, my only gripe… the charging port / pinky finger resting area is super sharp and hard. The Ultimate Phone Case IMO… Create a thin case like the Pitaka Pro case which offers full 360 degree drop protection, is still ultra thin, made with Aramid Fiber, has great feel in the hand or a case like the Ringke Onyx which has great grip, is thin and offers excellent drop protection… but add a pinky pillow like what Magbak Elite has on their case… Conceal a small kickstand that doesn’t add bulk to the phone similar to the kickstand on the Magbak elite or Torras air. And you have the ultimate phone case. Truthfully if Magbak elite rounded their case corners and slimmed the case down, and kept everything else the same, it would be the best case on the market. 17 Pro max, Line on the back
Guys, I noticed a faint line on the back of my two months old iPhone 17 Pro Max after removing the case. I’m not sure if it’s from pressure, heat, or something else. Has anyone else experienced a similar line on the back of their phone? Is this something to be concerned about or just a cosmetic mark? And what are the chances for replacement? submitted by /u/No-Permission-3885 to r/iphone [link] [comments]

This prompt turns any product into a stunning engineering teardown. Copy, paste, replace the object - See examples for iPhone 17 Pro Max, DJI Mavic Drone, and Macbook Pro
TLDR: This single prompt generates stunning, museum-quality technical infographics for any object. I break down how this advanced prompt works, provide the full template, and show examples for an iPhone 17, a DJI Drone, and a MacBook Pro M5 that were created instantly with it. Recommend using this prompt with Google Gemini Nano Banana model. I have seen a lot of image prompts, but this one is different. It is a complete, self-contained system for creating beautiful and informative technical teardowns of any object you can imagine. Forget spending hours in Photoshop or Illustrator trying to combine renders with annotations. This prompt does it all in one shot, producing visuals that look like they belong in a high-end engineering manual or a museum exhibit. This is more than just a prompt; it is a workflow. It combines multiple advanced techniques into a single, powerful command. Today, I am breaking down why it works, giving you the full template, and showing you three incredible examples I generated with it. The Anatomy of a Perfect Technical Infographic Prompt This prompt is so effective because it is incredibly specific and layers multiple instructions together. It does not just ask for an image; it dictates a precise visual language. Best Practices Embodied in This Prompt: •Hybrid Style: It masterfully combines a realistic photoreal render with black ink technical annotations. This is the key to its professional look. You get the beauty of a 3D model and the clarity of an engineering diagram. •Dramatic Perspective: It specifically calls for a 45-degree isometric 3D perspective. This is a classic drafting technique that shows an object's form and internal structure in a way that a flat, head-on view never could. It adds depth, dimension, and a sense of drama. •Controlled Information Flow: The prompt uses a clear, color-coded system for annotations. This is a critical detail. By assigning specific colors to functions like power, data, and thermals, the infographic becomes instantly readable and easy to understand. Pro Tips for Adapting This Prompt: •Customize the Color Codes: The prompt suggests a standard color scheme, but you can adapt it to any system. For example, you could add a color for PURPLE (Audio Components) or YELLOW (Structural Elements). •Specify Cutaway Depth: You can guide the AI on how deep the cutaway sections should be. Try adding phrases like shallow cutaway revealing only the top layer of components or deep cross-section showing the core architecture. •Change the Annotation Style: While the prompt calls for a technical pen style, you could experiment with other styles like vintage blueprint annotations or minimalist digital callouts. The Ultimate Technical Infographic Prompt Template Here is the full prompt. Simply copy, paste, and replace the object with anything you want to visualize. Prompt Template: Plain Text Create a technical infographic of [OBJECT] with a 45-degree isometric 3D perspective showing the device slightly tilted to reveal depth and dimension. Combine a realistic photoreal render with black ink technical annotations on pure white background. Include: Key component labels with color-coded callout boxes Internal component visibility through transparent/cutaway sections Measurements, dimensions, and precise scale markers Material callouts and quantities Color-coded arrows for function/flow: RED (power/battery), BLUE (data/connectivity), ORANGE (thermal/processor), GREEN (sensors/haptics) Simple schematics or cross-sectional diagrams where relevant Place “OBJECT” title in a hand-drawn technical box (top-left corner). Style: Black linework (technical pen/architectural), sketched but precise. Object remains clearly visible. Educational museum-exhibit vibe. Clean composition, balanced negative space. Perspective: Isometric 3D angle—tilted to show depth, dimension, and internal architecture dramatically. Like a professional product teardown or engineering manual. Colors: ~10-15% accent density. Black dominant. White background. Output: 1080×1080, ultra-crisp, social-feed optimized. Prompt Examples: From Imagination to Reality I used this exact prompt to generate detailed infographics for three different products. The results speak for themselves. Notice how the AI correctly interprets the internal components and applies the annotation style consistently across all three. (The three generated images of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, DJI Mavic 4 Drone, and MacBook Pro M5 would be inserted here in the Reddit post) Hidden Things Most People Miss in This Prompt •The Hand-Drawn Title Box: This small detail adds a touch of authenticity and reinforces the “engineering manual” aesthetic. It feels more personal and less sterile than a standard digital font. •Educational Museum-Exhibit Vibe: This phrase guides the AI’s overall composition. It encourages clarity, clean composition, and a focus on making the information accessible and engaging. •Ultra-Crisp, Social-Feed Optimized: This is a practical instruction that ensures the final output is high-resolution and perfectly suited for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, or Reddit. It is thinking about the end use case directly within the prompt. This prompt is a masterclass in how to communicate with AI. It is specific, structured, and full of expert details that guide the model toward a brilliant result. Take it, use it, and start creating your own incredible technical visuals. iPhone Air, 17 and 17E users, are you guys aware that the main camera of your phone is NOT the same as the 17 Pro models?
This might sound like a really dumb question at first especially on an iPhone focused subreddit, a $599 phone has a different camera than $1199 phone duh. However, imagine you are in the shoes of a normal person who just wants an iPhone and you look at the Apple website to see which model to buy and also use the compare feature to assist you. You see all of these models have a 48mp fusion Main camera with the differentiating 'Pro' feature being that your lens has new generation stabilization. So this means that the main camera is an identical 48mp fusion main across the lineup with Pro's only advantage being more stability, right? Wrong. The most important specification for a camera is how much light it can gather which mostly depends on the size of the sensor. Bigger sensor = more light gathered. The 17 Pro's main features a big 1/1.28" sensor which means it's light gathering ability is technically superior to the latest $1299 S26 Ultra with a 1/1.3" sensor. The base iPhone 17/Air on the other hand feature a 1/1.56" sensor which is identical to the latest base model S26 but with slightly higher aperture which means even more light. The 17E's main on the other hand is a ridiculously tiny 1/2.55" sensor which puts it at the same tier as the iPhone XS or the Galaxy S10, both obsolete models that don't even get OS updates anymore. Now, of course the quality of output produced by these phones isn't exactly proportional to how big the sensor is and I'm sure a lot of people will be satisfied with Galaxy S10 sized sensor of the 17E but I feel like it's still important to at least be aware what exactly you are getting because there is still noticeable benefits. And remember if there wasn't a benefit, Apple wouldn't have added it which is something to remember. The reason why I made this post is because I myself have been looking to purchase the Air and I thought despite it only having single lens, if it at least has the 17 Pro's main camera it would still be justifiable but sadly that is not the case. I never got deeper and just assumed that till today. And if a nerdier than average person like me was so close to being fooled by this very smart intentional naming scheme Apple has going on, I can only imagine most people have absolutely no idea about this big difference that exists. TLDR: Having a 48mp Fusion Main could either mean your iPhone has a better sensor than the latest 1300$ 2026 S26 Ultra or worse than the 2019 S10. If camera is your priority, be sure to check sites like gsmarena or whichever that show the real specifications instead of relying on meaningless tags like fusion camera. submitted by /u/Lucky_Outside_2009 to r/iphone [link] [comments]

After using the iPhone 17 Pro Max for 3 months, I've finally decided to sell it. It's honestly a big disappointment compared to several Android flagships.
The cameras are quite average. The Oppos and Vivos and Xiaomis of the world are way ahead in this category. It's too bulky and heavy, and the new aluminium chassis is way too fragile. Paint chips off randomly even with a case on. It feels heavier and thicker than some foldables lol. iOS 26 is a massive bug-fest. Lots of glitches, random crashes, apps stutter, keyboard freezes, and unimpressive aesthetics. It's 2026 and you still can't upload a bloody file to Google Drive or send an image on WhatsApp in the background while doing something else on the phone. Are you fucking serious? This thing costs ₹1,50,000 and it's meant to have the best smartphone chip. For what? Watching tiktok? Ridiculous. It's just very... boring. Nothing about the phone stands out. Vivo has cameras that make you want to click. Samsung has great software. Foldables have an extra screen. What does the iPhone have? Nothing. The ecosystem isn't that lucrative anymore. AirPods work well with Android, there are tons of AirDrop replacements, Galaxy Watch is as good as Apple Watch in terms of features. Forget the camera quality; even the minimum focusing distance of the telephoto is just trash. It's infuriating. The anti-reflective coating on the display is nowhere close to Samsung's. Most people may not care about these issues. But even if you're a bit savvy or you've used an Android phone in the past, the iPhone, even in 2026, feels like a downgrade. The only 2 things I genuinely appreciate are video recording quality and battery life. Exemplary. But everything else is just average. submitted by /u/Romeo01220 to r/PhoneNow [link] [comments]

Touch up marker for iPhone 17 Pro cosmic orange?
Well, I did the idiotic thing and I took off the case from my beautiful brand new iPhone 17 Pro for approximately 10 minutes and of course it slipped out off my hand and hit the floor receiving a nice dent and scuffs. I used some ultra fine grit sandpaper to smooth out the rough spots, and I am now left with a naked aluminum corner. You can’t see it with a case on so overall it’s fine but I was wondering if there was any touchup markers or paints that are extremely close to the cosmic orange that I can use to jury rig a home repair retouch. I was looking at orange sharpie markers, but maybe there’s something better? Also, I know AppleCare One doesn’t cover cosmetic accidental damage, but could I pay Apple for professional services for them to repair or replace the frame body? submitted by /u/erack to r/iphone [link] [comments]

Iphone 17 experience after being an Android user for 10+ years
Basically as what the title suggests, I’ve been an android user for basically 10+ years, from HTC, Huawei (before they got banned), OnePlus, and Samsung. I’ve had my S22+ for 3 years now, and while I still enjoyed using it, the battery life was bad, to the point that I had to probably charge my phone at minimum 3x a day. My wife and I decided that this year will be our upgrade year and we wanted to try the iPhone this time, especially me since the 17 seemed like a worthy phone to upgrade to. One of the reasons I never considered switching to Apple before the 17 came out was because: 1) proprietary cable, and 2) 60Hz display on the base iPhone basically forcing you to pay for the more expensive “Pro” phone. They changed this with the base 17 so it was a no-brainer for me this time around to try and switch. I got the base 17 in Myst Blue with 256gb of storage (Myst Blue + ESR Frosted Blue case looks good IMO). First, the transferring process: pretty straightforward and I like how most of my messages and contacts got synced with no problem. 90% of my apps got transferred, and WhatsApp was able to transfer my messages neatly (but I don’t really use it that much so even if there was an error, I wouldn’t get mad at it). What annoyed me was Viber doesn’t sync as nicely but that’s a Viber problem I think. Pros and Cons: I’m gonna start with the cons first because I want to end on a more positive note, because that’s what I feel a month into using the iPhone. Everything Bad: * No universal back feature: I’m sorry but this is just terrible. If you’re gonna force gesture controls as a means to interact with interface, then make the back gestures universal. I don’t mind if you can only do it from the left side of the phone, but please make it work in every damn app available on your phone. And no, swiping down to make the phone reachable for one hand and pressing the “x” isn’t a useful workaround because you can easily trigger it accidentally when you’re not trying to enter one handed mode. For a company that prides itself on being intuitive, this ain’t intuitive at all. * Siri just doesn’t feel smart: Siri is dumb as bricks, especially when using the “Ask Siri” feature. I’m someone who likes using the search function in my phone, and when using the “Ask Siri” shortcut, 9/10 I had to add “gpt” at the end of my questions to get the right answer. With the recent iOS 26.1 update, I don’t even have to type “gpt” at the end because Siri mostly defaults to using ChatGPT especially for answers it can’t immediately find the answer to. While writing this, I tested it out with “Who’s the GM for the Sixers?” which gave me the right answer “Elton Brand” but the picture it showed was of Elton John lol. I’m glad that Apple decided to pay Google, because what they have in here ain’t it. I also miss being able to just summon the assistant and have it translate an image in a website I was browsing. * Default keyboard sucks: so I first started using Gboard at the beginning, but seeing as Apple sometimes forces you to still use the default keyboard in certain situations despite removing it in the settings app, I decided to use it. First of all, how da fuck does this not have clipboard? It’s like the most intuitive thing ever and I don’t see the point of not making it available. Second is that you can’t add Filipino as an additional language to the English keyboard, so predictive text sucks ass. Third, no option to have a number row, or at least hide it behind the top row just like how other keyboards do it if they really refuse to offer the feature. And lastly, why can’t I swipe on the backspace to delete the entire word? Like what do you mean I have to hold down the backspace for a long time before it starts deleting entire words? The minor inconveniences: * Okay so I’ve gotten used to the fact that it’s better to hold the space bar and use that as my way of moving the cursor when typing rather than trying to use my fingers. It’s not intuitive, but I got used to it. * Notifications are a mess sometimes. Like I get notifications I already swiped away but still appears. I’ve disabled notifications for the Shortcuts app, but it’ll still pop-up occasionally. * I don’t like how you have to manually arrange apps in the folders of your home screen when you want them alphabetically organized. And every time you update an app, there’s a little blue dot at the side of the app * Lens glare/flare is kinda bad. I know every phone suffers from this, but there were certain shots I took during a concert that I couldn’t use because the flare was bad. You can edit it in post, but I wish it was a bit better THE GOOD: * First, security and privacy. I love that whenever you open an app for the first time, the security and privacy things they’re trying to access is immediately brought up and you can decide on your own whether or not you want to allow them or not. I specifically like the one where you can select “Ask not to track”. Android also has some of this now, but not to the same level as Apple does it IMO. * FaceID is actually great, I prefer it over the fingerprint sensor any day. And it works 80% of the time when wearing a face mask * Photo and Video quality is better on the iPhone compared to my old phone. I like photographic style, and I like how it can be just applied automatically. Front facing camera quality is also superb, and I like how you can get a wider shot with a press of a button. Video quality is also superb. I do think the camera control button is a bit of a gimmick I haven’t really used all that much. * I like the wallpaper styles you can get when setting up your wallpaper, and I also like how every app gets themed. * Dynamic Island is pretty neat especially when the app is well integrated. For example, when you order on Grab and you exit tha app, the island will show you when it’s looking for a rider, once a rider has been found, and once it’s out for delivery. Pretty cool. * Shortcuts App is pretty cool if you know how to use it, or find shortcuts in the community. I was ready to roast apple for not having a way to set AOD on or off based on the time, but you can do that and a lot more in the shortcuts app. I even found one that can automatically convert videos into different resolutions, for example you shot on 4K but want it to be 1080p for space or something, there’s a Shortcut for that! Pretty cool and feels like a power-user thing that I never expected from Apple. * Apps are just better optimized. IG, TikTok, they just feel better on the iPhone compared to Android. Overall, I wouldn’t say I’m completely converted to the ecosystem, but I also wouldn’t say that I’m gonna go back to android full time. In an ideal world, I’d probably have all my banking apps, instagram, and TikTok on my iPhone. And the rest of the stuff on the latest android phone. Take photos and videos with my iPhone unless I have the need for a 50x zoom image lol. There’s a bunch of stuff I didn’t feel the need to mention, like customization, because I already knew that the iOS wasn’t the most customizable OS out there. I also knew iOS 26 was a bit buggy since it was a major redesign, so I was patient with it. Before the latest update, my screen capture wasn’t working properly, but after the update it got fixed. I guess I’ll check back in 3 years time to see if I upgrade to the next iPhone or go back to android lol. submitted by /u/AxisCultMemberLatom to r/Tech_Philippines [link] [comments]

Did upgrading to the iphone 17 change your life?
Someone please talk me out of upgrading. Am having issues reasoning with myself at the moment. I really want to upgrade to the iphone 17 pro, but my iPhone 11 (256gb)is still running great. I replaced the battery this time last year and only just above 100gb of storage at any given time. So there is no compelling reason to upgrade, but I am itching for something new. On paper the 17 series is a massive jump in performance, but I kind of already have the foresight that my overall user experience won't be dramatically different other than a bigger prettier screen, but I still can't help myself. I think I should just buy the phone and return it once I confirm my thoughts. See I told you I am not thinking rationally right now. Maybe I should just buy myself a new case.. Oh, and I would have to replace the lightning cables in my house, car, and office, but it would be nice to have all my devices run on USB C. 🤔 submitted by /u/serpents_head to r/iPhone11 [link] [comments]

My cosmic orange iPhone 17 pro is turning pink!
Looks kinda neat tho! Crazy because the phone is brand new. It’s not the lighting or oils either. Sides are also pink where my case doesn’t cover it. EDIT: Here are videos: https://streamable.com/9s18gl https://streamable.com/mkcj9t https://imgur.com/a/iphone-17-pro-changing-colors-rGcFOSX UPDATE: I am working with senior apple support on this issue. I have sent all photos and videos of this issue to them and they are escalating to the engineering team. I have a call with the person who is handling this case this Friday. UPDATE #2: Apple is replacing my Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 pro under warranty. They did not provide a reason for the discoloration of the camera bump. They asked if I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide or bleach. I let them know that I have not, who is cleaning their phone with bleach or peroxide anyways? lol! I'll post side by side pics of the new phone and my current phone here once it arrives in the mail. What I learned from coming from Google Pixel 10 Pro > Google Pixel 4 XL > iPhone 17 Pro
Hi all, I wanted to share what I learned from coming from Google Pixel 10 Pro > Google Pixel 4 XL > iPhone 17 Pro. So I pre-ordered the 10 Pro and used it for almost a month until I accidentally broke it, it fell off from my pocket. After this I bought a case, used it with a case for a couple of days and sold it. After selling it, I was rocking my old 4 XL for a few days until I decided to buy iPhone 17 Pro. That’s the short story of how I got to this point. Okay, let’s talk about the differences between the phones. Right after switching to iPhone I immediately noticed how slow it is compared to 10 Pro. I know the 17 Pro has a super-duper processor and optimization, but guys, in most apps the scrolling feels like it’s 60hz and 4 XL feels faster compared to it. The animations are so slow, you feel sleepy while using it. In usual day-to-day tasks 10 Pro feels a lot faster and snappier. I don’t play games, so I can’t say anything about this aspect of usage. The cameras. If you felt like the camera feels choppy on 10 Pro in preview mode, it’s the same thing for 17 Pro. The only flawless thing here is switching between lenses. Photo quality is better on 10 Pro; video is, of course, better on iPhone. I installed all the apps I was using on Pixel, and all of them feel faster on Pixel. The only difference here for me is that 1Password’s autocomplete is almost flawless on iPhone compared to Pixel when it’s hit or miss. iPhone lacks a universal back gesture, which pisses me off because I have to guess every time whether I should press a button in the top left corner or whether I need to swipe to the right. I really miss the haptic feedback on Pixels, iPhone feels too plain and lifeless. At least they allow you to enable haptics for the keyboard. Face unlock is OK, nothing to talk about here, except that I prefer the fingerprint sensor more. Also, iPhone still wobbles when laying on a table. The dynamic island is not necessary at all, just a gimmick, in my opinion. Action button for camera wasn’t needed as well – I believe I could live without it at all. Pixel’s Android 16’s control panel is way superior to what I have on iPhone, and, in general, Android 16 feels much better than iOS 26. What I wanted to say with all of this. If you bought 10 Pro and are hesitating about whether you should have bought iPhone 17 – don’t. Pixel 10 Pro is an exceptional phone. If I hadn’t broken my 10 Pro I would stick with it for sure; I have no idea why I bought this iPhone, maybe out of curiosity. You don’t lose anything having a Pixel – sleep tight. Thanks for the attention. submitted by /u/AggressiveCalendar4 to r/pixel_phones [link] [comments]

Apple Store says iPhone 17 has 5x optical zoom?
Hi all, I’m thinking of upgrading from my iPhone 13. I’ll probably go for the base model 17 as I think it’s the best value for money. One thing that draws me to the pro is the telephoto lens offering much superior zoom but I don’t think that alone is worth an extra £300. When comparing the 17 and 17 pro on the Apple Store, I noticed what looks like a discrepancy in the optical zoom specs for the 17. In the summary part it states the 17 has up to 2x optical zoom, but then in the “more details” section further down, it states it also has 5x optical zoom. Is this just an error in the details on the App Store or am I misunderstanding something? If the 17 really has 5x optical zoom then that makes my decision a lot easier but unfortunately I doubt that’s the case. Any help of clarification is appreciated! submitted by /u/ElectricBogaloo2 to r/iphone [link] [comments]
