SSD- / NAND-Speicher.

Just Wanna Share my Experience with the iPhone Air
I’m really loving this form factor—it feels great to use and hold. I’m not a heavy user, so it works perfectly for me. I had the 16 Pro Max before, and it was so heavy that it actually left a dent on my pinky. I don’t mind having just a single camera. I’m not too concerned about the Pro camera features—as long as it’s more than decent, I’m happy. Honestly, I’m impressed with it, especially the front camera since it’s very wide. I don’t really use ultra-wide anyway, except for group selfies or scenic shots, so this feels refreshing. Battery life is fine too. It lasts me a full day. Since I work from home, I don’t charge that often—mostly just using social media apps, banking apps, and doom scrolling. Performance feels like a normal iPhone 16/17. At the end of the day, just pick what fits your lifestyle. submitted by /u/Anjoniacs1986 to r/IphoneAir [link] [comments]

Got the iPhone Air
I’ve been lurking on here for weeks reading every single "should I switch" post. I was so torn because the 16 Pro is obviously a beast, but I finally realized I just hated how heavy and thick it felt in my hands. Plus, I never even use the "Pro" features anyway. Picked up the iPhone Air today for $800 in my country and the difference is insane. The lightness is on another level. Picking up my 16 Pro now feels like holding a brick. If you’re on the fence because you're tired of the bulk, all I can say is just do it. submitted by /u/ZealousidealHeron603 to r/IphoneAir [link] [comments]

Are we, the iPhone Air owners, cooked?
This phone is, for me, a WOW design every single day. It feels like holding a huge screen in my hands that is incredibly light, with super premium materials, titanium, beautiful colors, especially the white or silver. The single camera takes amazing photos if you do not zoom and without an ultra wide that I don't care. There is only one speaker but it is so good that I would never have noticed if nobody had told me. And the battery is much bigger than what YouTube reviews said. I use it all day and come home from work still at 50 percent. It is pure joy to hold this piece of engineering and see that the entire smartphone is contained just in the top plate. But for a reason I do not understand, people do not like it and it is not selling. So am I screwed because it will be discontinued like the mini and I will have to go back to a big scratchable aluminum brick just for two or three extra specs and an x8 zoom that I need once every millennium? submitted by /u/Oxbow8 to r/iPhone17Pro [link] [comments]

When your vacation starts with an iPhone notification that an unknown air tag has been traveling with you.
I’ll keep it simple. *my best friend married a narcissist almost 10 years ago. The relationship was abusive and it took her years to leave. *when she wanted to move out of state because she couldn’t afford the COL, he won primary custody — claiming that it’s in their child’s best interest to stay put. *3 days after the custody order was given, he notified her that he was also moving out of state. *Her ex goes to great lengths to make her life a living hell even living a few hours apart. He has also tried to surveil her conversations with their son, stretching the limits of the custody order. *since I have an iPhone, I received the “unknown air tag” near you notification and was able to track it down. We found it in his insole. Last four of the phone number match her ex-husband’s new wife. submitted by /u/Content-Bathroom-434 to r/mildlyinfuriating [link] [comments]

iPhone Air: 5 months in. Thoughts.
I guess it's almost 5 months, as we've just entered February. Loves: The size. This cannot be beat. The weight. the comfiness of sitting in your hand. The best. I love that my dresses/pants don't drag as I put the phone into a pocket. The best. Hates: Camera. I cannot really zoom anything in or out. I feel like I'm stuck with a weird point-and-shoot camera from the 2000's. Sad. The focus and everything is OKAY, if nothing in detail but I didn't realize how much I enjoy taking/keeping photos for my pleasure and there hasn't been much pleasure. Speaker. It's gotten so much better after the last ios update (26.2.1). I listen to podcasts a lot while putzing around the home and yes, I have external blutooth speakers but I just don't really bother. It's been sad until the update. It's much better. I think it can even be better. Battery. I'm fine. I'm sometimes surprised how drained it gets but, eh. It's fine. Not like I'll be stranded somewhere for that long anyway. I'll surely be going back a Pro Max as I've always been...I guess I was just so spoiled with Pro Max all these years? iPhone Air is a terrible phone if you actually go out
I just wanted to share my experience with the iPhone Air after using it for a while, especially if you’re someone who’s out of the house a lot. I only work 2 days a week and have 5 days off, so I’m constantly out, at Disneyland, Beverly Hills, hanging out with friends, long days around and about, taking photos, using Maps, social media, etc. And honestly, the iPhone Air has been a terrible phone for this kind of lifestyle. And when I mean out, I mean like early morning around 6:30 to 11 or 12 am From my experience: Battery life is awful. The battery dies so fast it feels like I’m always watching the percentage drop. By the middle of the day, I’m already stressing about charging it. It just Overall, it’s just been a super stressful phone to own if you actually spend a lot of time outside your home. If you go out a lot and rely on your phone all day, I honestly wouldn’t recommend the iPhone Air based on my experience. I ended up just giving the Air to a relative and got the 17 Pro now. Obviously, everyone is different, and the phone works for a lot of people. I love the thinness and unique screen size. And I hope they keep making new versions of it with bigger batteries and a more robust camera system, but if you're someone like me, I wouldn't recommend it at all for the time being. I look forward to the Air 2 tho. EDIT: it's genuinely insane how no one in this subreddit can just take someone else's feedback without being personally attacked and having to cope with their purchase and downvote to feel better lol, y'all do you lol. submitted by /u/ProfessionalHost3913 to r/IphoneAir [link] [comments]

Regret getting the iPhone air
Long time iPhone user, even worked at the store for a few years. I switched to android for a little bit and absolutely loved that, but chose to come back to iPhone after 1 year hiatus because of family/friends FaceTime calls. I saw the iPhone air and thought that it finally felt like Steve Jobs era iPhone and was genuinely really excited getting it. But the excitement really didn’t last more than a week. It’s really awkwardly thin? I don’t know how to describe it, I have but hands and can’t use it without a case/the MagSafe wallet on that back. It just doesn’t feel substantial in the hand? Let me know if anyone else feels this way too. The second thing is the camera is really mid. It’s nothing special to write home about and I didn’t realize how much I depended on that ultra wide / other lens that this one doesn’t have. I don’t really care too much about the speaker even tho it’s horrible, and battery life is really just alright. I should have paid an extra $100 and just gotten the 17 pro. Now im outside of my return window and don’t want to waste all that money I paid to buy another phone… Is there anyone else who shares this sentiment or do you just love your iPhone air? submitted by /u/Old_Fisherman_9380 to r/iphone [link] [comments]

(over) one week with the iPhone Air. My thoughts.
I have been using the iPhone Air for 1 week and I would like to talk about the biggest controversies. First impressions of the super thin design It's beautiful. I really like the super thin Titanium frame and the very minimalistic Camera Plateau. There is no complaints about how beautiful this iPhone is compared to the other ones I have. Thoughts on the Camera The camera is.... good. I don't like that there is no telephoto, but i'll live! The battery is not as bad as you may think it is... I have been using my iPhone Air all day and I start my day with 80% and ended my day with 20%. Honestly, very great battery life! Kudos to the C1X and the N1 chip! The accessories are a nightmare.... I bought this third-party case from best buy because it was the first thin clear case I saw. Although it is somewhat good, I sometimes end up taking the case off to feel the thinness of the iPhone Air. The screen protector though is a complete mess... it is a privacy screen matte plastic screen protector and it SUCKS! It is starting to bubble and it has not even been a month. The quality is also very grainy and there is a notch that does not cover the Dynamic Island. Final thoughts? This or switch to the iPhone 17 Pro? I am definitely keeping this iPhone. This has been the best iPhone I have ever owned! Although it would be cool to own the iPhone 17 Pro (with 2 more cameras and extra battery life), the iPhone Air is definitely cooler! Best. iPhone. EVER! submitted by /u/LevexTechYT to r/IphoneAir [link] [comments]

The iPhone Air made me realize that there’s a ton of things I don’t need from a Pro model
I made the switch to the iPhone Air from the iPhone 14 Pro and I’m happy with it. I realized that I’m just a casual phone user and I’m loving the iPhone Air for its simplicity. Just now, I was glad that it has one camera lens because when I was taking a photo of the food that I’m eating, to show my wife, I was glad that I simply took out my phone, took a photo and sent it. Unlike when I had my 14 Pro, it would take its time before it decides which lens to use. If you know the feeling of when you’re going to a vacation to the beach or to the mountains and then you realize that you have a lot of things in your life that you don’t actually need. And you made that realization because of the simplicity of life at the moment. That’s how I felt when I started to use the iPhone Air for the first 3 days. The iPhone Air also makes me feel nostalgic of those days when slim phones are the star of the show. And for me, Apple has always been a the company that puts an insane technology in the smallest hardware possible. I think that if Steve Jobs was still alive to see this device then he would say that this is what Apple is all about. submitted by /u/ParinsipeProMax to r/IphoneAir [link] [comments]

TIL the mobile game "Send Me to Heaven" involved throwing your phone as high in the air as you can. The creator made it with the hope of destroying as many iPhones as possible, but Apple banned it from the App Store.
