I love korean skincare
Ever since i been introduced to korean skincare, i never went back. Round labs is my favorite brand. I have sensitive skin and their products are gentler. The only us brand i like is Good Molecules and tret. I am still newish to skincare so i have a simple routine. It works. I order mainly from Olive Young so i can get the korean formula of the sunscreen. I do yesstyle sometimes as well. I just have up money for a haul every few months or so. First pic was in sep and last pic was in Jan. I did get a little lazy with my routine the last two month but i plan to be more consistent and work on the PIH, clearing my skin more and possibly adding new products so im open to suggestions. Edit: forgot to add i do have spontaneous keloids. I get kenalog for those. Products from left to right Insensitive Moisturizing cream Pm Birch Juice Moisturizer Am Birch Juice Suncreen Am Cica ampule am/pm Birch Juice toner sometimes lol Birch Juice cleanser am/pm Birch Juice lip palm am submitted by /u/EffectiveEgg5712 to r/Blackskincare [link] [comments]

What’s one Korean skincare product that had people obsessing over your skin?
I had one of those moments last month where two different coworkers asked if I changed my makeup. I wasn’t even wearing any. The only thing I changed was adding a Korean skincare toner I randomly picked while browsing online one night (I think I originally saw it while looking at stuff on Alibaba, then found it locally). I didn’t expect any big changes, I just added it cause I heard of the hydration benefits. After about two weeks my skin looked even, I could not believe it. Now I’m curious what products gave other people that kind of almost instant results. Not just random compliments. I mean the unsolicited ones. The “wait what did you do” questions. Was it an essence? Sunscreen? Cream? I’m trying not to add other products all at once, but I’m just curious about what other Korean products I should consider. submitted by /u/Embarrassed-Career30 to r/KoreanBeauty [link] [comments]

use that korean skincare guys
Starting using it recently and I feel like it makes a positive difference! I recommend products like sunscreen, moisturizer, snail serum, facial cleanser, facial wash, and oil serums. My skin was pretty dry before and using those skin care products has helped it feel more moisturized. Consistency is key! submitted by /u/SwimmingTop9016 to r/Blackskincare [link] [comments]

Actually, there is no Korean products that can give you a real GLASS SKIN
I don’t know why everyone is pursuing “glass skin”, something I never heard of before. Then I searched online about the definition of glass skin, and it said glass skin is a South Korean skincare trend that refers to achieving a complexion that is smooth, clear, and so deeply hydrated that it has a luminous glow, almost like glass. However, it does not physically exist. What we’ve seen on the social media are simply people with good skin using a moisturizer. And this glowy and glass-like effect can soon disappear as soon as they wash off the moisturizer, which means that you don’t need a Korean products to get a glass skin, any moisturizer that gives you enough hydration can achieve the similar effect. In addition to glass effect, what people are really looking for is a flawless skin, smooth and clear. The reality, however, is that there is no flawless skin in the world, except children. It seems that those influencers do have flawless skin but what they do is simply adding a filter, and convincing you to buy the products they promote. To wrap up, if you want to have a glass skin, you just need to use a moisturizer and add a filter. What I am saying doesn’t mean Korean skincare is a scam, there is reason why they can go viral on the internet. However, if you really want to improve your skin, there is a lot of things you need to care about as well, such as sleeping and diet. What skincare gives you is little. I used to layer 5 or 6 skincare products one at a time and I still got pimple and redness. Then I stopped using most of them and simply used a moisturizer, and I tried to improve my sleep quality and have a more balanced diet. During the time I was using a skin tracker to track the progress, and the result turned out that my pimple got less and my redness got relieved. Nowadays there are too many products in the market and a lot of them don’t try to help people but simply earn their money. Just choose one or two and track them for a while. If you like them, keep using them. No need to spend more money on it. submitted by /u/ComposerSilent8711 to r/koreanskincare [link] [comments]

People in the us… how are you getting Korean skincare with this tariff situation ?
Hello, I’ve made a post on this sub Reddit before about the order I placed from yes style on September 15 and it has been stuck in Louisville Kentucky for almost a month. The package gets scanned every day, and often times says it’s going to be delivered to my house and then never shows up. Has anyone found an alternative to ordering Korean skin care products directly from the United States? Do any of the big retailers online have united states warehouse that you can directly choose to be shipped from? I I kind of accept that my package is likely not going to come, but I still really really want my skin 1004 products!!! Update: I ordered from Yami and it came in 2-3 days… very satisfied!!!!! submitted by /u/Cold-String1839 to r/KoreanBeauty [link] [comments]

What's an underrated skincare product you honestly didn't thought would work but now is your 'Holy grail'.
Skincare products especially koreans can be so tricky, especially when the company pays tiktok influencers and some Korean idols while promoting them globally - it becomes difficult for other products to shine. So tell be about a product which is absolutely unpopular and you didn't have any hope for it to work good but actually surprised you with how good it is and made you wonder 'damn why is this product not viral yet?' submitted by /u/hellothereiamnewhere to r/AsianBeauty [link] [comments]

Still new with the Haruharu, but really liking it so far, wouldn’t rebuy the Skinfood rice toner. Trump tariffs affecting skincare products prices (rant)
Sigh, for those of us in the USA ordering skincare products shipped from other countries, we're going to be paying higher prices due to the Trump tariffs announced yesterday. That European sunscreen you love with great UVA protection? It'll probably cost 20% more. That Korean elegant beauty product you use as part your morning routine? 25% more. submitted by /u/tinto_ronalk to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Overrated and underrated local makeup and skincare products
I’ll start. Overrated: Anything by sunnies face. Never pa ako na impress sa products nila other than packaging. They just copy trending products pero not even half the quality. Lip Mallow. Before you boo me I like the formula and own 6 of them. Pero honestly after trying more local products, overpriced talaga lip mallow. Yung shade range is basically so one note and after dry down you kinda need just one color. Plus ang onti niya lang talaga. VMV Hypoallergenics. Honestly masakit to sa akin kasi it was ahead of its time. Skincare made for sensitive Filipino skin. Pero ngayon imo napagiwanan na siya. More local skincare are entering the market and syempre Korean brands that are competitive and deliver quality. VMV is too expensive now with all these available brands Underrated Detail lip liner. I’ll choose this over any of my expensive lip liners. Super the best I tried. Ever Bilena stain. The OG. The Filipina girl basics. Pero tried and tested, ito talaga yung di ka iiwan kahit anong pawis mo pa. I remember choosing this over my benetint. Ellana cosmetics. Always there for sensitive skin pero not everyone has recognized her. Ito for me isa pa sa pioneer ng for Filipina sensitive skin and very reasonable and prices. submitted by /u/mrclive-ifrit to r/beautytalkph [link] [comments]

korean skincare changed skin practically over night
i took Accutane as a teen, and although it healed my acne, my skin has been perpetually dry and dull ever since (over a decade) and i am getting fine lines faster than other people my age. i have tried every brand it feels like, and some things have worked great, while others have made my skin so much worse. about 8 months ago i got the Peach & Lily ultra plush rich cream and loved it! i felt like my skin transformed after just a few days, so i decided to lean completely into the Korean skincare and slowly replaced my routine to only k-beauty. my skin has never looked better! i am glowy all day, even at the end of a long day with no skincare refresh. fine lines are decreasing, i never have that tight feeling, i even get asked what foundation I'm wearing when i am not wearing an ounce of makeup and people don't believe me! best part, i have only been using these products for 2 months and already have these dramatic results. i highly recommend doing Korean skincare brands that are also clean like Peach & Lily. for more affordable, Good Molecules and Knours have been just as good for toners and cleansers. but for moisturizers and serums, nothing is better than P&L IMO. honorable mention, those viral collagen masks, they are 100% worth the hype submitted by /u/lesbianagrande777 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]
