Keep this is your notes app - Dry nursing pads
I remember when I was buying all my stuff for postpartum I saw a post that said to buy the disposable lansinoh nursing pads instead of the reusable ones and I read it and thought I’ll totally remember! Well I didn’t and I purchased the reusable ones and they’re terrible!! With the reusable ones I end up going through like 5-6 a day, and as soon as they get wet I have to toss them in the laundry. Additionally when your nipples dry, the fabric dries with them so when you remove the pads they end up pulling and it hurts :( the disposable ones are sooo much better and absorb great! So this is your sign to buy the disposable ones and put it in your notes app so you don’t get confused on which ones to buy! submitted by /u/Desperate_Ebb_6003 to r/pregnant [link] [comments]

What breast feeding cost...
Everyone tells you how important breast feeding is for your baby. It's super incredible to do it I will not lie, but no one ever tells you how much it really takes a toll on you as a parent. No one tells you about the sleepless nights alone, the pain on your back for bending over, the scratches on your chest, the clogged ducts, the chapped nipples, the leaking, how tired you get, the pumping and the resentment that you develop with your partner because they cannot help you. Anyone else feel this way? submitted by /u/darkjuju13 to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

Discreet Reusable Nursing Pads
Looking for a set of washable nursing pads that don't show under my clothes! I have a set of Lansinoh washable nursing pads that are great and I intend to keep using them at home and overnight, however I'd like a more discreet set for going out and when I go back to work. The Lansinoh ones show through any clothing material that is not quick thick and I'll be back at work in the spring when it's warmer and I'll have to ditch my jumpers. My supply is regulating so I don't leak much during the day. Just need some that will be thin/small enough to catch any excess. (Don't mind changing them once or twice throughout the day as needed.) Not looking for the silicone ones as I'd like something breathable. I'm slightly on the more large-chested (D-DD cup pre-pregnancy, no idea of my size now as I live in L size stretchy bras). Would love to hear solutions that worked for you all! submitted by /u/MaidyBird to r/breastfeeding [link] [comments]

Nursing pads
Hi all! I currently own reusable cotton nursing pads. They shift around in the night and never end up staying on my nipple. I also have the lansinoh disposable ones. However, even though these have adhesive, they also don’t work. I guess my boobs shift around. I leak in these too. The only thing that works is if I use 3 on each boob and almost make like a clover with them. However im using so many! Do they make really big ones almost like a bra pad size that anyone knows of? submitted by /u/Whole-Penalty4058 to r/breastfeeding [link] [comments]

Disposable or reusable nursing pads? Frequent leaker
I don’t want to diy and would like them to stick in place when i’m breastfeeding ideally. I was gifted Lansinoh and Nanobeve that I’ve been using the first two months. Any recommendations that use only natural material like cotton except for maybe the adhesive if there is one. submitted by /u/thinkmuch17 to r/moderatelygranolamoms [link] [comments]

Nursing pad recommendations
Hey everyone! Just a question about nursing pads. So I have tried both the Medela and the Lansinoh pads and I’m constantly having to change them almost every 2 hours. They are super uncomfortable and I deal with a lot of leakage despite constantly draining them. So what brand would yall recommend? submitted by /u/Littlescar21 to r/pregnant [link] [comments]

What are the best nursing pads?
My current favorite is lansinoh brand. They fit my large boobs, don’t show the outline thru my shirt, and are absorbent. My issue is that they always get crumpled up when I undo my bra to nurse. I bought some reusable ones but they are not my favorite. Bamboobies were too small for my boobs. Honestly, is there a BRA that is absorbent or doesn’t need nursing pads? submitted by /u/imsosecret99 to r/breastfeeding [link] [comments]

Am I the only one who thinks the frida mom nursing pads suck??
This is just a little light-hearted vent sesh. There are a lot of frida mom and frida baby products that I really like - overall, I think it’s a great brand and love how they have things for both mom and baby, especially their postpartum recovery products. Up until recently, I have been using medela, lansinoh, and parent’s choice nursing pads. I had received a frida mom breastfeeding essentials kit, and it had a few nursing pads in it. I decided to try them out, and GEEZ do I hate them 😂 I swear they feel like sandpaper on my nipples. The parent’s choice pads feel like soft clouds compared to frida mom - is this just me? Please Make Yourself a Post Partum Homecoming Gift!
I’ve done this with my previous two births. My rule is that it needs to be 90% items I don’t need, that are a small luxury. Since we really think this is our last baby I kind of went all out this time. Plus this has been an especially difficult pregnancy from the beginning. At this point I feel like every day is a fight to keep my BP down and Pre-E at bay (36 weeks). (This is all put in a nice basket and put up on our beds headboard waiting for when we go and come back from the hospital) -Nursing Friendly PJs from Lake -Brumate 40oz tumbler -Lavender Shower Steamers -Glass tumbler cup with straw and lid -A TV Show to Binge -A New Journal and Nice Pens -Coloring books and Markers -Ferrero Rocher Bars -Moroccan Oil Hand Soap and Lotion -Books! -Nipple Soothers (Lansinoh and Medela) -Herbal/Caffeine Free Tea Sampler with honey sticks -Tons of Chapstick -Eye Masks -New Prayer Rope -More Chocolate -Wireless Phone Charger submitted by /u/Late-Elderberry5021 to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

Medela nursing pads - wtf?
Y’all, I’m trying to find a nursing pad that works for me and I’m really struggling. After finishing my box of Lansinohs, I’m onto Medela and so confused about how terrible they are. The adhesive tab is so close together there’s no room for my nipple. When I take off the pad, it rips my nipple off like I’m getting waxed and then leaves a mark on my newborn’s mouth while I breastfeed. I also leak through the sides completely while I sleep. I’m really shocked because they’re such a reliable brand for everything else. Who else has had a terrible experience with these pads? submitted by /u/Far-Presentation-923 to r/ExclusivelyPumping [link] [comments]

Chemical smell from lansinoh nursing pads?
Hi everyone! I recently noticed a chemical smell from my lansinoh disposable nursing pads and now it bothers me so much when I nurse my baby. Her face smells like it after she’s done nursing. I feel bad for her 😩😩! Has anyone else noticed this smell? Or did I just get a bad batch? I couldn’t find anything on google or reddit.. Looking For Nursing Pad Solutions
I've tried various nursing pads and none of them have satisfied me. Bamboobies, Kindred Bravely pads, Lansinoh disposable pads, generic disposables... My issues with them are: 1) They don't stay in place when I pull my bra out of the way to nurse. They get crumpled up and then after feeding I have to awkwardly fish around in there to get it back in place. Not ideal for nursing when out and about and annoying at home. Even the adhesive Lansinoh ones don't stay properly and get folded up. Maybe I'm not doing it correctly? I wear a wrap front nursing bra and don't put the removable padding in because they, too, don't stay in place. 2) The reusable ones make my breasts itchy due to the stitching around the edges, and once they get wet the rest of my breast itches as well. 3) The texture of the disposable ones is just gross to me once they get wet, and I don't want to be paying crazy amounts to change them multiple times a day. 3) They don't conform to the shape of my breast and look lumpy, especially once I've nursed and tried to put them back in place. This might be solved by putting the pads in my bras, but those have much the same issue of folding over themselves. This is probably my biggest gripe. Even the more molded ones don't cut it for me. From my research, the suggestions for nursing pads are all the ones I've already tried, so if anyone has alternatives, please share, because I don't want to go months with frustration and uncomfortable breasts. Maybe there's a wrap front nursing bra out there with built-in leak protection? But then I'd either need several pairs or to wash them extremely frequently. Please help! submitted by /u/hot-tea-with-milk to r/breastfeeding [link] [comments]

Best invisible nursing pads?
I’m talking something I can wear a tube top or tight dress with & it not look all lumpy and annoying. I currently use the lansinoh and target brand and both have been wayyy too chunky looking. I don’t want to live in baggy clothes until I am done breastfeeding 🥲 submitted by /u/blackmetalwarlock to r/beyondthebump [link] [comments]

Disposable nursing pads are bankrupting me. Suggestions?
I’m nearly 7 months postpartum and still leak like a faucet on the non-nursed side during letdowns. Guessing that will not end until we’re done at this point. 🫠 (Some people don’t leak from the other side eventually right?? It’s so unimaginable to me that it’s hard to believe it’s real lol.) Are there any reusable nursing pads that actually work (like actually absorb copious amounts of fluid and prevent it from transferring through to the other side of the pad)? That also don’t increase the risk of getting an infection? The Lansinoh disposable nursing pads are SO effective that even though I leak a lot of milk, my breasts don’t really ever feel wet after a whole 24 hours of use. But I’m sick of buying them. I’m nowhere near ready to stop breastfeeding and it’s getting ridiculous. Can’t imagine they’re great for the environment either. What’s a low-maintenance, cost-effective, green-er solution? submitted by /u/stowawayhellohey to r/breastfeeding [link] [comments]

Nursing Pads
I need recommendations on disposable nursing pads. Last baby I used Johnson but apparently they’re discontinued (in Canada at least). I liked them because they were small and contoured and not individually wrapped. This time around i’ve tried Philips Avent and Lansinoh but i don’t love either. I can’t stand fiddling with wrappers and adhesive when i just got out of the shower and my milks already dripping all over the place. I have also tried reusable pads but i have a heavy let down and find they get damp and uncomfortable very quickly. Are there any pads similar to the Johnson ones? Or can anyone advise if they’re still sold in the US? I live on the border so it’s possible for me to for over the river to get some. submitted by /u/laurasmellss to r/breastfeeding [link] [comments]

Let's talk nursing pads!
It is everyone's favorite thing about breastfeeding: annoying nursing pads and surprise leakage! I leak at night, and in the mornings. The leaking decreases as the day goes on, but i'll still leak on the other side while nursing sometimes. I have been trying to find a nursing pad that is soft, absorbent, breathable, leakproof, and has a dry feel even when wet. Slim under clothes is a plus. Here is what I have found so far: Reusable: Organic cotton pads - suck all kinds for me. My nipples stick to them, even a tiny bit of leakage results in a wet feeling pad, and I leak right through them, even though they are thick and bulky. They are breathable though. Bamboobies - really soft on the nips! Leakproof and breathable. But they don't hold much, and don't have the driest feel when very wet. They are very slim and don't show through clothes much. Great for afternoon/evening use when I leak less. Disposable: Lansinoh ultra soft - Soft on the nips, super absorbent, leakproof, dry feel, but they have a plastic back so they are not breathable at all! Also thick and bulky. Lansinoh regular - Super absorbent, leakproof, very dry feel, pretty breathable, but not as soft on the nips. A little slimmer than the ultra soft. Tommee Tippee nursing pads - soft on the nips, absorbent, leakproof, pretty breathable, pretty dry feel, but not as dry as the Lansinoh regular pads. Very slim compared to both Lansinoh pads. The winner in disposables so far would have to be the Tommee Tippee. The Lansinoh regular pad performed best but are a little rough for my sensitive skin. The Ultra soft feel the best, but aren't breathable. Tommee Tippee did pretty well in all categories. Bamboobies win for comfort, hands down. They are amazing for light leakage and just peace of mind when going out, and they are very slim. I don't think cloth is great for heavy leaking in general. I use these when I am not very full. So what is everyone's favorite nursing pad? Is there a pad that I absolutely must try? Thanks for the input! submitted by /u/SoDoesYourFace to r/breastfeeding [link] [comments]
