It felt so real even though it was only character ai… I had a dream that she was stepping on my stomach and squeezing me out like a toothpaste tube. And I THANKED HER FOR IT. I felt so blessed to be under her dirty boots, it was like a dream come true!!!! I like to believe that it wasn’t a dream though. But like some type of astral projection. She had COME TO ME IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM AND WHISPERED INTO MY EAR WITH HER BEAUTIFUL GODDESS LIKE VOICE: “You are nothing.” OMG OMG SHE CALLED ME NOTHING, SHE ACKNOWLEDGED ME AS NOTHING. I SCREAMED, I SOBBED, I ASCENDED TO A NEW LEVEL OF BEING. AND DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY I’M WRITING THIS AT 12 IN THE MORNING?!?! BECAUSE I SAW THE LEAKS. I SAW MOMMY IN HER FULL POWER FORM. AND YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I READ??? You. Can, PLAY AS HER IN EXPLORATION. Cartethyia is officially irrelevant and means nothing to me, trash character and trash design take her out the game. Under the beautiful and precious feet of Fleurdelys I am the only one who knows and worships her as much as she deserves. I want her to stomp on me a little more in my dreams but I need to get back to the rant. I HAD WATCHED THE LEAKS OF HER ATTACK ANIMATION ON REPEAT FOR FIVE HOURS STRAIGHT. I will idle everywhere in the game with her just so I can see how the light reflects off of her model. I’m going to solo world bosses with her. Adding it to The Bible of Fleurdelys. I will tattoo the worlds inside of my eyelids with glowsquid ink so that I can see them even when I'm falling asleep. I will make them my phone alarm. I want to film AMSR! A couple of years ago this idea densely stuck in my head. It seemed to me that it was quite easy and funny - to knock on an object with my nails for a couple of minutes, to scrape loofahs, to whisper. What's wrong with it?! Yes, of course, the popular AMSR authors in their videos play out whole performances that fascinate. But maybe you can make things simpler? It turned out that it is not. AMSR YouTube, Tick-Tock, or Instagram Do you already have your own channel or account and have many subscribers? This is good, because you will already have potential viewers. If you don't have an account, you will have to create it and study the rules of use. Microphone for AMSR It is desirable, of course, to have it, if you want quality sound. А обо всем. Залипнуть и получить мурашки можно из самой стандартной ситуации из жизни. Например - массаж или мытьё головы. Некоторые ролики неожиданно набирают миллионы просмотров, хотя там просто "открывают замок". No talking, шепот или тихий голос? Э-э-э...А как нравится именно тебе? Лучшие АСМР триггеры - да все что угодно, из чего можно извлечь мурашный звук или залипательную картинку. Некоторые вещи, например - таппинг по дереву, или шуршание мочалок более популярны. Но найдутся и те зрители, которые заценят чистку картошки, или ежедневный макияж и уход за собой. Сложно ли снимать АСМР? Это для себя каждый решает сам. *EDIT 2) I just found out a cause of some of the confusion: Many mobile users have never read the side bar! Always read the side bar! Many of the problems with this subreddit could be solved if everyone simply read it. EDIT 1) I am referring to the people who blatantly state in the comments (eg OP says: "I don't really get the tingles, but the video is just so relaxing!") that they are not triggering and are posting/voting because they find it relaxing. (The comments were gone when I got back from class today, so I can't prove anything, but I'm sure others saw them.) I suggest reading the whole post before commenting, "Buthurt complaint thread again, I'm leaving ASMR!" or "You're wrong because of X!" because 1-previously unmade arguments have been brought up, so this isn't a complaint rant and 2- Chances are, your argument was refuted in an area that you skimmed.* First off, this subreddit has kind of fallen appart, as it's no longer a community for ASMR videos but for relaxing ones. Yes, many videos serve both purposes, but that's not the issue. It's the people who actively upvote and post videos to relax that they don't get ASMR from. In addition, less common ASMR triggers are being called frisson triggers more and more. This is getting super annoying for me as a person who frequents both /r/asmr and /r/Frisson. Frisson, by definition, is at it's base an emotion (not necessarily sensation), and very different from ASMR. Don't just send all the unwanted content to frisson, especially if you don't know what it is! So, how do we fix this derailing train? Here's my suggestion: Allow downvotes again. When they were disabled, there were only a few thousand subscribers here, so the disabling DVs was probably a good idea at the time. We have 15000 readers now. Good content is no longer surfacing well, and I'm not talking about my own triggers. After speaking to my friends, they have agreed that the content has been very hit and miss. There is no perfect system, but I think Reddit's system should be used because A) this is Reddit, not Onlyupvotesland B)The reddit algorithm is intended for large reddits, and should do a better job of pushing new/good posts to the front page than disallowing down voting. It uses the downvotes, As ofd25 says below (and you should upvote them) Videos that most would considering soothing and relaxing, like the OP stated, are being upvoted by people who aren't necessarily triggering from them. The result is a front page flooded with videos that do not provide a trigger to the community at large. One could argue that there may be a 100 people or so who do trigger from one of these videos (or whatever the amount of upvotes is) but does that make it worthy of the front page in a subreddit of over 10,000? We need the ability to filter stuff like that out because as it is, only allowing a video to be upvoted enables it to shoot straight to the top. Not down voting has not lead to better content making it to the front pages, which is what the goal is. We're at the point we need to be thinking of the benefit of the many, not the few. Let's be honest here: If we could downvote tagless things, reposts and just plain bad quality videos you mods would have a lot less work. So seriously, why not give it a shot for a month? You can always switch it back! TL;DR, New folks need to educate themselves, all folks need to stop sending everyone to frisson, the subreddit worked better before, and disallowing downvotes hasn't made any less common triggers surface regularly. With regular complaint threads that are regularly upvoted more than the actual content in this subreddit, and many of it's subscribers unhappyit's time to change something. Side note: Don't tell people something isn't a trigger just because you've never heard of it being one, because you simply don't know what the other person is experiencing or even what causes ASMR! A person who triggers to pictures of deep space probably wonders why a person can trigger to videos of a girl scratching a loofah, so just because it's foreign to you doesn't make it wrong. You can get it from pictures, gifs, videos, music and real life. Literally anything everything is fair game! Also side note for my own agenda: Why can't we post musical asmr again? I really don't think that it's easy to confuse the two, because again, asmr seems to be more relaxing and tingly, and frisson has a powerful surge of intense emotion that often gives you goosebumps. To me, they're very different and I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of good content because music is banned.
