Apply the pencil frst, then an eye serum or gel, not a cream under it but far enough away from it not to touch it. I have very good luck with NYX pencils in the under eye area, no smudging. I use the mechanical ones.

I’ve been testing mechanical pencils for a while, and some are surprisingly worth every penny, while others… not so much. I wanted a list of pencils that hit the sweet spot between cost and performance, smoothness, grip, durability, and just plain feel. Cheap pencils can actually score higher than pricier ones if they punch above their weight. That said, I didn’t include the super-basic ones that barely function, no point recommending a pencil that just exists. I found this in my bathroom that is shared with multiple household members. I Google image searched it and it was convinced it was this antique mechanical pencil, but that's not what it is. It's very light and isn't cold to the touch so it feels more like it's made of plastic than metal. No openings. Nothing on it moves. Hi, I'm new to mechanical pencils and stationery. I would like to ask you for recommendations on mechanical pencils, I am currently in college studying mathematics so I write a lot. I have always been reluctant to use mechanical pencils because I have a heavy hand and the lead tends to break. A few months ago I bought a Pilot progrex 0.5 mm 2B which I really liked, it has a good grip and the overall construction is acceptable. My only problem is that I suffer from constant lead breakage. I did some more research on the subject and found the pentel orenz Nero 0.5 mm which was perfect, it had a good grip and a very good construction, plus the lead no longer broke. my only problem with this one is the mechanism to extend the lead automatically, when I wrote on the paper the metal rubbed against the paper so it felt weird, so I returned it. I bought a rotring 600 which I also really liked, the construction is impeccable and the feel in the hand is very good, the writing sensation is very smooth and the lead doesn't break constantly. But the weight is too much for me that I use it many hours. The rotring 600 weighs about 22 g, the pentel orenz Nero about 16 grams so my limit is about 16 grams. I would like to know about a pencil that meets the following characteristics: 1. not too heavy 2. The construction of the pencil is sturdy and durable. 3. That it has a comfortable grip that I can hold for many hours. 4. The lead does not break. I have also tried the 0.5mm uni kuru toga but I don't like the feel when writing, the tip moves a lot. I have looked at some options like rotring 500, pentel graphgear 500, Pilot dr grip. I am open to recommendations. In addition to the above I would like it to be available on Amazon/Aliexpress due to the stationery stores in my town not having much of a variety. I’ve been drawing and writing almost daily for long periods of time with my pentel twist erase 0.9. There has been no damage to the pencil, the lead doesn’t break often since it’s 0.9mm, and the grip Is very good.
