Mini fridge opinions
Has anybody used this to store their reconstituted R? Reviews are a mixed bag and don’t know what’s “cold enough” to store it. Seems like a better way to store it instead of my fridge with perishables and other things in there. submitted by /u/alexxt28 to r/Retatrutide [link] [comments]

[Shelfie] My Skincare Fridge (detailed reviews!)
Skin Profile I am a 20-year-old East Asian woman with dehydrated, oily, slightly clog-prone skin. I also have mild seborrheic dermatitis that flares up during prolonged periods of intense stress, in which I use a prescribed steroid cream (USA) as seen in the 2nd photo. My routine is built around pore care, skin barrier care, and fighting temporary inflammation from weekly at-home dermaplaning and extractions. Furthermore, after struggling with PIH, melasma, and freckles my entire life, I've undergone multiple laser treatments to remove them almost completely. Growing up, I had really bad hormonal acne, so I had to wear a lot of makeup to hide it. My skin would also look very textured in makeup. Now, my skin is a source of pride--I can go out confidently bare-faced and receive compliments on my complexion. Because my skin is smoother and less oily, I can skip primer and use less foundation, and my makeup develops a soft glow rather than breaking down or looking greasy 12 hours later. AM Routine (★ = top 3) 1. Youth To The People Superfood Cleanser ★ Some people might be mad when I say this, but I think an expensive cleanser is worth the price because other cleansers like CosRX and Cerave don't properly cleanse, which leads to clogs and, in turn, breakouts. It's stripping, so it might not be suitable for dry skin or those who don't wear sunscreen/makeup. 2. Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads ★ I bought this after trying their sheet masks. I usually use toner pads as a hydrating physical exfoliant, which this product doesn't do--but what I really like about it is that it's basically a mini sheet mask. The essence it's soaked in is a similar viscosity to many sheet masks I've enjoyed, and just one pad is enough for my entire face and neck. It makes my makeup lay really nicely, and anecdotally, I feel like the peptides have improved the appearance of my pores. 3. Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream ★ (HG) I only use a small amount each time because it's a very rich formula + my other steps provide enough slip to spread it out across my face. The jumbo size lasted around a year for me and I just refilled it this week. It's perfect under makeup and it repairs + hydrates my skin overnight. Some moisturizers that are marketed for my skin type have left my skin tight and dry after 30 minutes, and while this one is for dry skin, it doesn't clog my pores like others have. The cherry on top is that it doesn't pill under any makeup! 4. Shiseido Urban Environment Sunscreen/Skin1004 Water-Fit Sun Serum (KR version) TBH I rarely use sunscreen, only when the UV index exceeds 3, and I'll be outdoors for more than 10 minutes. I just hate the texture and smell, these are the only 2 that have been "good enough". 5. Torriden Solid-In Lip Essence Purchased for $7 because it was so cheap, but because it runs out so fast, my 2 other lip masks are more cost-efficient (have to repurchase once a month vs once every year or two). Very, very good product though--helps heal my cracked and bloody lips while adding gloss. PM Routine 1. Ma:Nyo Pure Cleansing Oil I use it on days I wore makeup/sunscreen. Removes makeup easily, including waterproof mascara, but might need a separate eye remover if you tightline. Massaging it in helps clear pores and dead skin to some extent. 2. Youth To The People Superfood Cleanser ★ 3. Medicube Zero Pore Pad Favorite chemical exfoliant so far. I've tried Paula's Choice and CosRX but they both felt greasy on me. Slow sebaceous buildup in pores, so I can go longer between extractions. 4. Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads ★ 5. Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream ★ (HG) Post-Dermaplaning Routine 1. PM Routine 2. KraveBeauty Oat So Simple Water Cream Amazing at relieving the inflammation from extractions and dermaplaning, but absolutely 0 hydration. The formula is silicone-free but upon application, it feels extremely silicone-y. 3. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Too heavy to use every night, but amazing for relieving redness and repairing the skin barrier. Even better in conjunction with the oat cream. Replaced the Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask for me, which you can see sitting sadly behind my other creams lol. Masks Rhode Eye Patches Purchased with a gift card. I'm usually an eye mask hater, but these eye patches are like drugs for my eyebags. They smooth the skin so all makeup layers perfectly on top. I also like how these stay in place and aren't slippery. Biodance Collagen Mask I pop these on when I'm too lazy to do skincare or bored. These basically replace my steps. I love I can sleep on my side and they'll stay put. It feels more convenient to wear an overnight mask rather than a 20-minute mask that you have to remove and then seal in with more skincare afterward. Other Products Youth To The People Superfruit Cleanser I use it in the shower when I feel super gross and clogged, but it's mostly a fun product for me because I like the smell and packaging. The pores on my nose look noticeably cleaner if I leave it on for a bit. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Great for exfoliating away the flakiness from dry skin, decent at pore cleansing, will sometimes use instead of the Medicube pads in the shower. Tatcha and Laneige Lip Mask, Lush Sticky Dates Scrub All great products that serve the general purpose of lip care and last forever! Ariul Micellar Lip & Eye Remover, Kissme Heroine Make Speedy Mascara Remover Amazing at removing waterproof mascara and eyeliner! Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Great but was replaced by Ma:Nyo because the pump is more convenient Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water TBH, sometimes I'm so tired that I can't even bring myself to do my routine, but rather than falling asleep in my makeup, I try to at least cleanse my face using this and it seems to do a really good job. Laneige Water Cream Very hydrating, but it's not occlusive enough to be used without a proper moisturizer underneath without feeling tight later on. It's like an addition to moisturizer. Torriden Dive-In Serum Full disclosure, I got this as PR along with a bunch of their collagen line, but once the novelty of this trendy product wore off for me, I stopped using it as much because it lowkey does nothing. Collagen stuff was good, but I gifted it to friends and family. Torriden Dive-In Toner Pad Not PR. I thought I ran out, but I found an extra box in my skincare closet. Not as hydrating as Biodance, but provides really nice physical exfoliation. It's a good toner pad if you don't like how viscous Biodance is. D'Alba First Spray Serum Used it a lot in high school not realizing how greasy it made me look, but recently repurchased after an MUA recommended it as a setting spray to add glow back in after powders. Skin1004 Madagascar Probio-Cica Ampoule I love how viscous and sticky it is, helps with redness to some extent but not as effectively as my current routine. Dr. Jart Pore Remedy 5% Multi-Acid Peel Almost empty, completely emptied the PHA serum from the same line. Both did a good job at smoothing texture, but have now been replaced by Medicube. Goodal Vita C Serum Super hydrating but no brightening product I've tried (Melano CC, Dear Klairs, Innisfree, Paula's Choice) has made any difference in my PIH, melasma, and freckles. Helps clear up acne/post-acne redness really fast though, which I appreciated in my teenage years. Biodance First Synergy Toner Hydrating but overall underwhelming product submitted by /u/womensboxers to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

Which is a better mini fridge; Silonn or SIA?
These are my main options rn because they're available and affordable where I live. I would like to have it in my bedroom for both skincare and occasionally a snack. My room is the hottest room in the house and has an issue with ventilation so I have an AC unit installed but if I were to leave for a few days or sometimes just during the day and then off the ac it gets insanely hot that I've had lip liquid products start leaking from the pressure and a power bank's battery combusted 💀 So I'm looking for something I can safely leave on for the weekend at least, and ideally isn't noisy or the least noisy. If both are as noisy I could just turn it off at night when I'm asleep but for that I want the fridge to not easily break because of that. submitted by /u/TheScarletBat-221B to r/minifridge [link] [comments]

Is the Koolatron Mini Fridge Worth It for Skin Care and Drinks?
Picked up the Koolatron KRT04 to mess around with on my workbench and then ran it like a normal person would, desk in the office for a while, then a few trips in the truck. Design and aesthetics are the big sell here: that retro look in pink with the chrome accents is honestly kinda sharp, and I get why people buy it as a bedroom mini fridge or dorm mini fridge just for the vibe. Price wise it sits in that middle zone where you expect better than the no name mini cooler junk, but it’s not built like a real compressor compact refrigerator either. Compactness and portability are legit. It’s small enough to fit on a shelf, and the flip up carry handle helps. Handle and door security is decent thanks to the twist-to-open handle, though I can see why one reviewer had a handle piece snap off; the plastic feels a little “don’t drop me” flimsy. Build quality is light, not rugged. Cooling efficiency is thermoelectric, so keep expectations real. It cools up to about 32F below ambient, meaning in a cool room your soda cans and coffee creamer get nicely chilled, but in a hot car it’s fighting physics. Temperature consistency was ok in my cooler basement office, less steady in the garage on a warm day. Car and dorm suitability is the main win since it runs on both 12V DC and 110V AC, so power options versatility is there out of the box. Noise levels were mostly quiet, a soft fan hum, though I did catch an odd clunk once. Energy consumption on paper is not tiny for what you get (thermoelectric units can be sneaky that way), and you’ll see some condensation. Water forming inside is real, so maintenance and cleaning means wiping it out and doing manual defrost-ish upkeep. Reliability over time is where I get sceptical. Multiple folks had it die in 3 to 5 months, one with a loud pop, another said sparks out the back. Customer support experience sounds decent since replacements got shipped under the one year warranty, but I still would not trust this mini fridge for medication storage unless you’re monitoring temps, same for insulin or anything critical. Fit for skincare and medicine is fine for creams and serums, just not mission critical meds IMO. Anybody else run the KRT04 longer than a year without it quitting, or see the same short-life issue? submitted by /u/IdealCoffeeShop to r/KitchenStack [link] [comments]

My skincare fridge (one of those small 6 can ones) was leaking. Is that freon?
I had a small 6 can mini fridge. Tiny cheap piece of shit plastic thing my sister bought and I inherited when she moved out. It weighs like nothing. Anyway I was donating it today when I noticed it was leaking liquid everywhere. I'm super freaked out now. Was that just water? Was it coolant? Do I need to call somebody? Did I just poison myself? The lotions inside were still kind of cool. I think it was still working. I threw it away but I'm really freaked out because I got some of that liquid on my hand. submitted by /u/gaymbit to r/NoStupidQuestions [link] [comments]

UPDATE: Had to get a mini fridge for my room to prevent food theft smh
Original Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/badroommates/s/YN6HjZU6lZ My fridge came a couple days ago and honestly, I couldn’t be happier, I truly won. I put my skincare from my job in there, my gua sha’s are cold now when I do my face massages. I can leave my boba’s in there for after work, or if there are sauces from a restaurant I like I don’t have to throw the cups/packets away if I don’t want to. The shelves stay clean and aren’t splattered with nastiness from people too lazy to clean up spills, and I don’t have to smell rotting food someone forgot to throw away every time I open the door ☺️☺️ The reason I’m updating is because I went to the store today and bought 3 boxes of Outshines (peach, lime, and strawberry), and I stacked them all in the freezer of my mini fridge. I put all the empty boxes downstairs in the kitchen trash and cackled to myself, because the next time he goes to throw something away he’ll see I have like a 24 count of Outshine bars he can’t eat. I hope it burns him up inside lol. submitted by /u/snapthecreator to r/badroommates [link] [comments]

[Shelfie] featuring my cute new skincare mini fridge!
Skin Type: I had normal, perfect skin all my life (I’m 26). In the last 2 years I’ve started to have hormonal acne flare ups (I suspect my IUD). My goal is to keep my skin as happy as possible, and start fading some acne scars. AM Routine: Wash and dry hands Wash w/ Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant for 2 minutes OR wash w/ Vanicream Gentle Face Cleanser for 2 minutes Rinse 10 times Dry face Apply SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum Wait 30 minutes Spritz w/ Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner Apply Dermalogica Circular Hydration Serum Apply Glow Recipe Niacinamide Dew Drops Apply Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer Apply Revision SPF Moisturizer (tinted or clear) PM Routine: Wash and dry hands Wash w/ Dermalogica Precleanse for 2 minutes Rinse 10 times Wash w/ Vanicream Gentle Face Cleanser for 2 minutes Rinse 10 times Let dry Wipe eyes w/ Bioderma Micellar Water Apply pimple patches (optional) Apply RoC Multi Correxion Hydrate + Plump Hyaluronic Acid Eye Cream Apply Rapid Lash serum Apply Neutrogena Hydro Boost (fragrance free) to neck Apply Differin Gel Wait 30 minutes Spray Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner Apply Dermalogica Circular Hydration Serum Apply Differin Dark Spot Correcting Serum Apply Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer Apply thin layer of Cerave Healing Ointment (optional) Apply Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask Not Listed In Routine: Avène Thermal Spring Water Vanicream Moisturizing Routine Not Currently Using: 100% Hydrogel Mask SkinMedica Even & Correct Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Mask Glow Recipe Sephora Birthday Gift Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Cream Reviews of Top 3 Products: Differin Gel: Game changer. I almost gave up on this product, took a full 12 weeks to start working. So happy I stuck it out, my pimples come to a head almost the day they show up now. Love the pump packaging, to me a “serving” is about one pump, which I’d say equals about two peas. The gel is soft and has no smell. Overall opinion = holy grail! Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant: This is the product that’s fueled my recent skincare addiction. Feels luxurious on the skin and makes my makeup go on smooth. Gentle enough to use every morning. Make sure to work it into a lather before use! Overall opinion = going to use this forever. Rapid Lash Serum: Can buy cheap from Costco. Gentle on eyes. My lashes definitely grew with use. Slightly discolored eyelids at first but this went away. Overall opinion = like! [PSA] Those popular skincare mini fridges are not energy efficient
After some research, I realized that those popular tiny refrigerators that you use to store your skincare products are quite energy inefficient and can use as high as 90 watts! So smol yet so power hungry! Compared to an actual mini bar fridge that have a higher energy efficiency ration and use as low as 50 watt to operate. Yeah, you sacrifice the space but you don't have as big of a carbon footprint. I can't post the photo of the fridge that I purchased today because it's Discussion Day. submitted by /u/Aramiden to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

[Miscellaneous] Is a bathroom mini-fridge ridiculous?
I have a couple products that need to be refrigerated and b/c our house is really laid out poorly, the kitchen is really far away. I've heard that it's popular in Korean to have a tabletop personal mini fridge in your bathroom for exactly this reason, but my husband says it's silly and the only reason for a fridge in the bathroom would be for a "shower-beer". Going down a flight of stairs to the other end of the house twice a day for a handful of serums, creams & masks is annoying, and getting little fridge (one of those small ones that can hold a 6-pack) this seems like a handy solution. But is this something that people do in real life or am I sincerely being ridiculous? submitted by /u/SeattleTrashPanda to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]
