Hi y'all, I'm looking to buy a mini fridge that's about 16-19 max in deep, can be up to 3 feet tall and width isn't such a factor but up to like 2 feet? I'd like it to be under $200, maybe $220. Been lurking here for months watching everyone celebrate their wins and figured it was my turn to share. After cutting every corner possible and saving every spare dollar and some luck on Ѕtаkе US, I finally had enough to get my kids something they've been asking for forever - their own mini fridge stocked with drinks. I finally broke down and bought a mini fridge. It wasn’t the cost I just resisted because I don’t share a fridge and it just didn’t seem necessary… at first. Now that I am stacking several peps and I have a sizable stash I decided it was time to give my peps white glove treatment. Sure I could have bought a case for the punctured vials but the fridge is pretty full from food prep. And the mini fridge has a usb charger so I can travel with it. Does anyone else use a mini fridge? I got this one for like $40. I keep a temp gauge in there and it typically reads around 38-40 degrees when it’s kept shut. We keep bottles in there at night and I can fold the milk bags over and set them up top or set them upright at the bottom. It will hold 4 lansinoh bottles on the bottom or 2 of my tomme tippe bottles. Me (19f) and my SIL (31f) do not get along. I met her three years ago for the first time after my brother (31m) introduced us to her. He said she was just nervous but she was fine with the rest of our family. It was just me she was being hostile to. And I was excited to meet her because I love my brother and we were close. But the first impression never got better and we'd fight whenever we were around each other. She was extremely vocal about my decision to not attend college and go a different path and was incredibly negative about it but then was like it was no surprise with it being me and she bet I decided this because no college wanted me. I told her they clearly wanted people with issues since she went to college. When her and my brother got married she told him that if I was his best person, I needed to wear a suit like the rest of his groomsmen and not the dress I had already paid for. Then at the wedding she talked about how I looked like a guy wearing a suit like the other men. In return I only congratulated my brother and ignored her. Even when she was talking to me later I ignored her. I told my brother after the wedding I loved him but would not be around her much because clearly we could not get along. So I avoided her and skipped stuff when she'd be around. Only that wasn't fully possible 7 weeks ago when her and my brother were visiting with my baby nephew. But I did stay mostly in my room when I finished work. And I didn't eat with the family which my parents protested a lot. I stocked my mini fridge every few days. Or I planned to. But four days into their vacation/visit I basically went no contact with my whole family which is the point of my post. I had a day off work. My parents and brother went out for the day. SIL was home with the baby. I didn't want to be in the house alone with her so I went out to avoid any awkwardness or conflict. But when I got home there was a shitty diaper on my bed that had leaked and shit stains on my bed covers. My mini fridge had been left open too and food was missing from it. I went and confronted SIL and threw the diaper at her. My parents came back as we were fighting and they told me to calm down, to stop making things worse. I asked them if they'd like to come home to find that and for her not to clean it up. They said it was a simple clean up job and I didn't need to react like that. I asked them if I should pick it up and take it to their bed. They got mad. Said I was OTT. SIL was laughing and made an excuse that she forgot to clean it up and it had only been a few hours. Then I mentioned the food and she said she got hungry and the baby was fussing. My parents said I could join for dinner. We were still fighting when my brother got home and he said it wasn't worth the fight and I should understand that SILs a newer mom and mom brain is a thing. SIL was loving it and she told them I had thrown the diaper right at her face. They asked me why I'd do something so disgusting and said I should apologize. That's when I told them to all fuck off and I said good luck cleaning up the shit because I was out. I cleaned myself up a little and grabbed all my important stuff and I went to my grandparents who picked me up a few blocks away (I can't drive due to a medical condition). They were disgusted and expressed to my parents and brother how ashamed they were of them siding with SIL. That pissed SIL off and she told them to remember who gave them a great grandchild. After about a week my parents and brother reached out but I refused to answer their calls. I ignored their texts where they asked if we could talk. I ignored them suggesting we all sit down and hash it out and figure out a way to move on. I have had zero contact since. I refuse to talk to them and my grandparents have expressed this and they had to listen to my parents say I was behaving like a teenager running away like this and that I'll be 20 soon and need to talk to them before my birthday. Then one text was saying that my hate for SIL will cost me a relationship with my nephew as well as my brother and I don't want that. AITA? I have 2 kids, 17M and 16F. Both of them have jobs. My kids are different in every way possible. My son usually saves his money and when he does spend it hes cheap with it. He has a lot of money saved from when he started working. He only spends large amounts around his birthday or christmas for himself or for the family. He enjoys cooking and hes a damn good cook. He has cooked for the family before. He has leftovers, and they’re his unless he says otherwise. My daughter is the opposite, she buys a lot of stuff with her money. She still leaves enough saved over in case she needs to buy food or toiletries. She doesn’t like cooking, so she eats what my wife or I cook. The issue is my daughter has been stealing from my son recently. She’ll eat his leftovers, bring some to school. She goes into his room and wears his clothes or accessories to school. Her brother is of course upset by this. If she asked he might have said yes, but she doesn’t. Her defense for the food is that its in the fridge, anyone can take from it. Her defense for the clothes is that it fits her style better, and she can’t find clothes like her brother wears. He’s given her the site its from, but she hasn’t bought clothes from there cause it’s pricey. My son came up to me upset and asked if he could get locks for his room (some of the doors don’t have locks), and that he’s been saving up for a mini fridge. I decided that i’d pay for the mini fridge, and get him the locks. He has two keys for his room now. My daughter is very clearly upset, but hasn’t said anything. I (19F) go to a really expensive college. I’m lucky because not only did I get a scholar ship but my parents are wealthy and I can get money whenever I want, my roommate on the other hand isn’t as lucky. She comes from a poor background and has to work because her parents can’t pay her tuition and she doesn’t even have a partial scholarship. She often takes my food because she wants to spend most of her spare money on makeup/clothes/decorations and paying for her monthly payment to the school, so I allowed her to eat the food I bought. The issue was that she started eating too much. I understand eating 3-4 times a day, but my roommate literally ends a whole fridge full of food in less than 2 weeks and I got to eat less than 25% of what I HAD BOUGHT. It got to the point I had asked her to cut it down a bit and she got offended asking me if I was calling her fat, to which I replied no I’m calling you a binge eater. She said she’d stop but she never did. Last week I got fed up because I had bought my favourite cake from a bakery 30 minutes away and it costed me 120$ and I put a little note on it that said “ you can eat some but please leave me half! :)” and when I came home that same day she had eaten the whole cake and the note said “ sorry hope you didn’t mind I was hungry and stressed”.
