Every NordicTrack treadmill in the UK ranked, from the £499 T5 to the £15,000 Ultra 1!
Spent a while going through every NordicTrack treadmill currently sold in the UK and honestly the naming convention makes it harder than it needs to be. Posting this because I see a lot of "which NordicTrack should I get" questions (not necessarily just across Reddit but elsewhere). The thing nobody tells you is that the model numbers don't follow a logical spec progression. The T Series 10 has a WEAKER motor than the T Series 9 (3.0 CHP vs 3.6 CHP) despite costing £150 more. The T Series 16 has the same motor as the T10 but costs £350 more purely for a bigger screen. Here's what actually matters when choosing: If your budget is under £1,000: The T Series 9 is the one to get. 3.6 CHP motor (same as the £1,799 Commercial 1250), 10" touchscreen, 12.5 mph. Best value in the entire range. Available on Amazon. If you can spend £1,500-2,000: Skip straight to the Commercial 1750. Same 4.25 CHP motor as the £2,499 Commercial 2450, 16" screen, and you get decline training (-3%) which no T Series model has. Available on 0% finance via Klarna when buying direct. If you just want the cheapest NordicTrack: T Series 5 or 6.5S, both £499. Get the 6.5S — bigger deck and higher weight limit at the same price. If you don't run fast: The X16 and X24 are incline trainers, not traditional treadmills. 40% incline turns walking at 3 mph into a genuinely hard workout. Niche but brilliant if that's your thing. Other things worth knowing: 0% finance is only available when buying direct from NordicTrack, not Amazon The warranty drops to 12 months unless you register within 28 days at ifitsupport.eu iFIT family plan is £39/month on top of the treadmill price Every NordicTrack folds except the X Series and Ultra range I put together a full comparison of all 13 models with specs, ratings, and which ones are actually worth the money: hometreadmill.co.uk/nordictrack-treadmills/ Happy to answer questions about specific models. submitted by /u/Mundane-Mousse7738 to r/UK_Treadmills [link] [comments]

Keep or Kill? 10-year-old NordicTrack Desk Treadmill with 16k miles
Hey everyone, I’m looking for some "end-of-life" advice on a machine that has been an absolute tank for a decade. I have a 10-year-old NordicTrack Desk Treadmill. I can’t find the exact model number online, but it’s basically this unit, except mine hits 10mph and 10% incline and a little bit nicer. The Stats: Mileage: ~16,000 miles. Typical Use: Mixed walking, running, and jogging. The "Power" Workout: I frequently do a 10/3.5-4/30 routine with a 20lb ruck (10% incline, 3.5 - 4mph, 30 mins). Maintenance: One belt change ~2 years ago; regular lubrication. The Current Issue: The deck is physically worn/grooved, and the machine has recently started shutting off/resetting and tripping the circuit breaker during use. The Dilemma: I can get a replacement deck for $200. However, given the 16k miles and the rucking stress, I’m worried that the "switch flipping" means the motor or controller is already on its way out. Questions for the experts: With 16,000 miles and heavy rucking, is this motor basically a "zombie" at this point? Is it worth putting $200 into a 10-year-old unit, or is a cascade failure inevitable? Since nobody seems to make a "desk" treadmill with these specs (10mph / 10% incline) anymore, what’s the best "real" treadmill that can handle this kind of mileage and rucking? submitted by /u/Sweaty-Inspector-587 to r/treadmills [link] [comments]

Customer service wasn’t much help and just wanted to schedule a tech appointment, but I don’t really want to pay $160+ for someone to come out without any idea of what it could be/potential costs. 😩 Edited to add: •original post was wrong - the tick increases with speed •it’s definitely coming from the front/under the cover •absolutely nothing else seems to be wrong - no weird vibrations, no other sounds, etc. submitted by /u/cryptogramiac to r/nordictrack [link] [comments]

iFIT/NordicTrack is a nightmare. My 1250 is defective, and they’re extorting $286.92 for "White Glove" delivery on a warranty replacement. NordicTrack 1750 Commercial Treadmill - screen frozen
HELP! Essentially, this unit is bricked at the iFIT loading screen. The treadmill will still operate as normal (speed and incline functions), but the iFIT screen is stuck on a loading screen. I had a similar issue months before and iFIT support sent me a zip file to update the firmware and resolved the issue. Now, with the screen stuck at the loading screen, it won’t advance to a stage where I can read a usb. Can’t find a reset pinhole anywhere… most support threads suggest this, but I can’t locate it on this specific model. Nor does any basic power on/off troubleshooting appear to resolve the issue. The unit is a model no. NTL14117.1 submitted by /u/famouscam to r/nordictrack [link] [comments]

2017 NordicTrack 2450 Treadmill Motor or Controller issues
What started it: was running at 7.2mph, .5% incline. I hit stop, treadmill came to a stop. I then hit the 2mph button, I felt the treadmill jerk, and the belt accelerated to top (?) speed. I managed to jump off to the side. I stopped it and restarted it, same thing. Then tried again and it wouldn't start at all. Opened it up and tried to start it and the motor controller red LED started flashing 4x, pause, 4x, pause, etc. Per the internet, this seems to be a motor controller failure. Spoke to NordicTrack support. (Side issue - unit was supposed to be under warranty but the warranty was never recorded). Support person agreed that it was a motor controller failure. Ordering from them would have been $230 with shipping so I ordered one from Amazon with 2 day shipping. I made sure the deck was lubed before doing anything else. Installed the controller and the motor started but was varying speed at 2mph with nobody on it. I used a clamp on AC ammeter with a line splitter on the power cord and the current was low but varying, less than 2 amps. Speed and current seemed steadier at 6mph with no load, around 3 amps or so. I didn't trust the controller so I returned it and ordered one from another vendor. Installed the new controller and still saw varying speed at 2mph but decided to try running on it. Speed was way off. With my foot pod calibrated from prior to the failure, 6mph on the treadmill was reading 5mph on my watch. 9.5mph on the treadmill was reading 8mph on my watch. With 2 controllers showing the same behavior, can I assume the motor is bad? Anything else I need to look at? submitted by /u/garminfeltf1 to r/treadmills [link] [comments]

Nordictrack treadmill reviews what’s the best model for heavier use, and which one doesn’t feel flimsy?
Update: After reading through all the comments here and doing a bit more research on my end, I decided to go with the NordicTrack Commercial Series. It seems like the best fit for heavier daily use with better stability and cushioning compared to the others I looked at. Appreciate everyone who shared real world experiences, it helped a lot. I'm planning to use a treadmill pretty much daily and i don’t want something that feels like it’ll wear out fast. I'm looking for something stable with decent cushioning, and i keep seeing NordicTrack treadmill reviews that are either super positive or total horror stories. I've been researching online but it’s hard to tell what’s real durability vs lucky purchases. Which model has held up for you, and what made it worth it? NordicTrack 2450 vs Sole F89 - real owner treadmill feedback please
Hi! So I’m trying to decide between the NordicTrack 2450 and the Sole F89 but I’m feeling completely stuck. I originally leaned towards the NordicTrack 2450 because I love the look of it, the big screen, and the variety of iFit workouts, the picture quality especially looks amazing. However, once I started reading reviews, I got really put off. I know people are more likely to post negative experiences online than positive ones, but the amount of complaints around reliability and customer service made me hesitate. The iFit subscription cost is also a downside, especially considering you need it to fully use all the other apps like Netflix etc. I then started looking into Sole treadmills and the F89 seemed to tick almost all the boxes for me. I really like that there’s no subscription and you can just use it normally to watch Netflix etc. But then I read comments saying the screen looks quite dated, one likening it to an old TV-style and now I’m questioning whether I’d regret that after spending this much money. So now I’m stuck between NordicTrack: better screen + ifit guided workouts look great, but subscription cost and worrying reviews. Sole: solid build, no subscription, but possibly disappointing screen If anyone owns either of these treadmills, I’d really appreciate all the feedback, good, bad and the ugly. Long-term use, screen quality, noise, reliability, customer service, anything. For context: I live in England and I run mainly for my mental health and anxiety. Running genuinely keeps me level, but I hate running outside in the cold, so I need something for the miserable UK weather! Thanks so much in advance, this decision is stressing me out more than it should. This is my also first Reddit post 🙈 submitted by /u/Party-Guarantee89 to r/treadmills [link] [comments]

An update from my previous post about purchasing a treadmill while being an avid runner with a budget - A NordicTrack T 6.5 S setup review and analysis.
As previously mentioned in my post, (Link to preceding post: https://www.reddit.com/r/treadmills/s/vyyBDjVc0D), I purchased a NordicTrack T 6.5 S model from Amazon for roughly $700 and I recently received it yesterday and I want to provide an update to those interested in my choice of treadmills. I decided to decline on purchasing the “Room of Choice Delivery” option since I am pretty skeptical on how the procedure would work since Amazon drivers are typically ongoing with their routes. Therefore, I decided to have one of my family members assist me with dragging the box into my household since 220lbs is no laughing matter. The package arrived with minimal damage to the box and the contents inside were free from any faults or defects. When I first gazed at the manual instructions, I saw that I had to register my treadmill through the NordicTrack website. It was straightforward with helping me provide my personal information and it even offered me a discretionary extended warranty, which i declined since I already purchased a warranty through the same transaction on Amazon. As for the assembly, the process and instructions were slightly vague on a few occasions. For example, when assigning certain bolts and screw numbers to install, it was never definitively defined beforehand to not use the numbered screws that were placed in order of the packaging but from what number they were assigned to on the part list since each part was labeled 1-12. However, it was appreciative for the iFix company tied with NordicTrack to provide me the essential tools to install each component of the treadmill. In addition, the illustrations were also extremely useful transparently understandable during the assembly process. Afterwards, I began the UI utilization setup of the treadmill. I was shocked at first in the instruction manual that they recommended using an extension cord to reduce the amount of voltage usage and potentially blowing a circuit. I was able to use the treadmill without any electrical issues whatsoever. Immediately when I flipped the switch, I was greeted with the home screen, which was surprisingly odd to me since I distinctly remember reading reviews on this specific treadmill model having the iFit subscription screen display and others had to research how to troubleshoot or override the iFit subscription screen. I would highly recommend calibrating the incline function first before actively operating it in order for the treadmill to fully have an incline percentage of 0 before initially running for the first time and reduce any unnecessary faults. I also made use of adjusting the cushion level underneath the belt for best use of the treadmill and to my surprise, they were already set for more cushioning or “less firm” as the instructions defined it as. Lastly, taking it out for a test drive…er…run for this matter! I immediately started in manual mode and straightaway began with a speed of 1 mph, to which I adjusted the speed of the treadmill. From 3 mph to 7.5 mph, I was able to run while maintaining a steady balance and a standard running gait for 30 minutes (I ran somewhere close to 3 miles). The treadmill was able to respond to my desired speed fluctuations as well as the incline level. The optional subscription service tied into the treadmill never interrupted me or plagued me of requiring any subscription purchase which was assuringly gratifying. I would however recommend those who do not own a floor mat or a cushioned rag to remove any small items around the room to those running vigorously while using the treadmill since small items may be prone to falling due to the amount of force you release when running. Overall, I will state this treadmill to be almost effortless and simple. While I was running on it, I was told afterwards by one of my family members that they were unable to hear me running while they were in another room estimating to be about 15 to 20 feet away. The only real issue I have with is the settings UI to be slightly tricky when navigating sometimes as pressing down one to many times may kick you out of the settings menu. I will provide further updates to any abnormalities or strange occurrences that may happen to arise. I am open to any questions anyone may inquire regarding my experience with this NordicTrack model! TL;DR: I received my NordicTrack T 6.5 S treadmill in the mail and the assembly, and along with settings changes, were almost elementary. I had little to no issues while running on the treadmill for the first time and I am open to any questions or suggestions when it comes to my operating or the maintenance side of my treadmill. Returned a Nordictrack treadmill to Costco
Due to the anti-consumer friendly nature of the treadmill that has evolved over the course of owning it. I was very easily able to return it to Costco. Keep that in mind if you ever purchased it from Costco, they will pretty much take it back without any reason. I hate the fact that every time I start up my treadmill, I have to put it into manual mode and then it'll give me an error about something not starting. And then I have to reboot it a couple times to just use the treadmill. I am so over it. Goodbye NordicTrack. NordicTrack Elite 900 submitted by /u/fergatronanator to r/nordictrack [link] [comments]

Anyone who marathon trains on a treadmill own a NordicTrack 2450 and feel like “0%” isn’t actually flat?
This is a pretty niche question, but I haven’t been able to find much discussion about it online. I recently upgraded my treadmill in October after my 2019 NordicTrack X32i broke, and I now have a NordicTrack 2450. I do the bulk of my mileage on the treadmill due to my schedule and having small children at home. I’ve been running for a long time and have logged a lot of treadmill miles, so I feel very in tune with how different efforts should feel. With this treadmill, running at 0% consistently feels harder than typical. Almost like the deck is slightly raised. My heart rate is higher, it’s harder to hit workout paces, and even my easy pace feel closer to moderate effort at 0%. The only time it truly feels comparable to flat outdoor running is when I set the incline to −1%. I’m curious if other NordicTrack 2450 have noticed something similar. submitted by /u/SunflowersNsapphires to r/Marathon_Training [link] [comments]

Treadmill recs - anyone have the Horizon 7.4 AT (vs Nordictrack)?
I'm finally making the investment in a tread and of course am overwhelmed by options. In a perfect world I'd get the new Wahoo Kickr Run, but I'm not spending $7k (or 6 or 5 or 4 lol) on a treadmill. I have a friend who recco'ed the Horizon 7.4 - she's not a big runner but likes it for incline walks and jogging. It looks solid but want to make sure it's actually good for training. I mostly do speed work and uphill threshold runs so handling speed AND 12-15% incline is super important. I don't care about built in tv/training programs/etc. In fact, I'd prefer it doesn't have all that. I've read too many horror stories about Nordictracks, even though some of their treads are definitely built more for trail/mountain runners. tl;dr - need a solid but nothing super fancy tread that can handle speed work and uphill work in a smallish space (spare bedroom). Thank you! submitted by /u/NicoBear45 to r/XXRunning [link] [comments]

Need Treadmill Advice. Peloton vs Sole vs NordicTrack (open to other brands)
Looking to buy a treadmill. Budget ideally is $2k to $2.5k. Willing to go up to $3k if the quality is good. Priorities are: 1. Quality and durability 2. Good interface 3. Touchscreen 4. Walking, jogging, running… incline or decline is not important. 5. Prefer a softer running experience, not too hard and harsh. I hear horror stories all over internet about Nordic track and then some about Sole. Peloton relatively less bad stories. As mentioned I want a treadmill that will last long, good quality…. Install it run do periodic maintenance and not worry about all the issues. Is peloton a better pick or are there any other brands I am missing out in my short research I have done. I do not want to buy used. Please advice. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/No-Barracuda4629 to r/treadmills [link] [comments]
