We use the the owala kids tumbler - I like that it’s stainless steel and it’s white spill proof. Only if there’s some in the very top of the straw does any get out. It also is relatively difficult to suck out of so it makes my LO slow down with his drinking

Help - Owala for kids worth it?
EDIT to add- thank you for all the comments and suggestions!! I decided to go for the kids freesip for boys and we are loving them so far! I'll get boots if they get dented but so far so good. I noticed that my 6 year old actually drank way more water now that he has this new water bottle -- I think it's because of the straw function! his previous one was a chug function. can't wait to get my own! thanks again! *** original post: My 4 and almost 6 year old boys have broken water bottles and I'd love to make the jump to nicer/higher quality ones and I'm leaning towards jumping on the Owala band wagon but my partner suggested it might be a bad idea because our kids will drop and dent these bottles (which is valid). I'm curious for those who have Owalas for their kids -- is it worth the $25 for the kids freesip? Or should I wait til they're older before making the jump to owala? If my kids' bottles are worth the hype I'd jump on the bandwagon myself but not sure if getting it for my kids is the right first choice here after talking with my partner. Any/all help and opinions about owala for young kids welcome! Stanleys made it to the off-price retailers....
And theres an abundance of them. I've seen a handful at some thrifts over the past few months, but not so many at once like this. What even was the point of getting so many of them when theyre designed to be reusable so you'd only need the one? What truly icked me, though, was how people would BRAWL over them in store, if not because they were missing this very specific shade of blue in their collection, it was to resell the $45 tumbler for 500$ online (and somehow actually make a sale 😭😭).
