Finally! Dr. Bronner’s Soap
My favorite soap is finally back in stock! Used to be a shower gel user and then a Dr. Squatch user. Tried this and I was hooked from the first use. Hasn’t been in stock for at least a year or so at my local Costco. Bathed my cat in peppermint castile soap extremely worried
Hi guys. As the title states, I bathed my cat and peppermint Castile soap. This happened yesterday around 1-2pm and it’s now 3pm the following day that I’m making this post. After the initial bath, I did rinse her off a second time then I bathe her a third time with some antibacterial soap to remove the residue oil off of her skin from the Castile soap as the internet advised but in the interval she did start grooming herself a bit and I did try to stop her. Last night, I did hear her having some breathing issues like it sounded like she was like panting or coughing. I’m not too sure but now she just wants to be next to me all the time when originally she‘s more of an independent cat. I think she’s also displaying signs of lethargy like moving a bit slower now but maybe it’s all in my head she is 11 years old idk. I’m just really worried and I am hoping my cat is not going to die as of right now I’m trying to apply for insurance or care credit so that I can take her to a vet sometime this week. I just hope it won’t be too late. I feel like crap about this and I know if my cat dies this is gonna weigh so heavily on my soul. has anybody else went through anything similar? Can you offer any advice? I’m not looking for sympathy either but please don’t be too harsh on me in the replies I made a mistake and I’m already paying for it dearly. edit: as of now I’m at the emergency vet they took her vitals and said her vitals came back fine I’m waiting for the vet to come in and speak to me. submitted by /u/DreamPokko to r/AskVet [link] [comments]

I’m building my first bio active setup for a crested gecko. Dr. Bronners Using AI
Hello Folks, It's dissapointing to say but it appears that Dr. Bronners is using AI for community outreach & support tickets. I recently asked [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) a simple question of "Can I mix two soaps together like Eucalyptus & Peppermint together or do some of the liquid soaps not mix together well?" The answer I got was weird and later an actual human responded apologizing for the email but it still doesn't make me feel right. AI is extremely destructive for the environment and for communities. It consumes a godly amount of water and energy that goes against what a Eco friendly company would be for. (Sorry for any grammar issues I don't have autocorrect when I typed this.) https://preview.redd.it/6mf2xdpd2u7g1.png?width=1008&format=png&auto=webp&s=e9ba9d7f9612e5bdf96bd36c02a874c078687065 https://preview.redd.it/1tj8wepd2u7g1.png?width=1008&format=png&auto=webp&s=9ff689c05e8f8282252665edc23dd6403fbf909d submitted by /u/BawxTheFur to r/ZeroWaste [link] [comments]

Newbie question: How do I add tea Tree oil to Dr Brommers peppermint soap for body wash use?
I have these two ingredients, I love the Dr Brommers peppermint soap bars but want tea tree oil for the benefits it brings. How do I do this? I really don’t understand the whole carrier oil thing, and can’t seem to find a reference for how much tea tree oil, to carrier oil, to product being mixed into. On just about every house plant.. Plants seem to be thriving and lots of growth. Stippling on stems but nothing crazy. No webs. Noticed one month ago. Have been using systemic granules, neem oil, & a mixture of Castile soaps ( tea tree and peppermint) with alcohol and peroxide.

This is embarrassing but….
I’m kind of embarrassed to post this but I want to be held accountable. These are all of my UNOPENED products (so not counting the products currently sitting in my shower/dresser being used). Some things I’ve had since Xmas/my bday for gifts, some things (like the deodorants lol) my parents purchased for me from Costco, and other things I just bought without being intentional! No one needs this amount of extra. I’m so excited to work through this stash and watch the clutter from my life disappear, and when it comes time to purchase a new product to do so with intentionality and purpose!! Going to update each month with how much I’m able to get through. Shopping my stash! submitted by /u/Patient-Purple1620 to r/ProjectPan [link] [comments]

Castile soap for laundry
I'm planning on using Castile soap for my laundry because I want to try and be a bit more environmentally conscious. I'm using Dr. Bronners peppermint Castile soap. On their website it says to add vinegar to the rinse cycle. Do I really need to do this or would my clothes be fine if I don't? Would also be open to any other environmentally conscious suggestions too! submitted by /u/WozzyBoi3 to r/laundry [link] [comments]

The peppermint Castile soap method
I’ve mentioned this method of pest control dozens of times in various “Why is my plant dying?” threads. I preach this method as a cure-all. It may take two or three applications, but I’ve never killed a plant and I’ve saved dozens. It kills spidermites. It kills mealybugs. It kills scale. It kills aphids. I say “you need to put soap foam on it”, and this is what I mean. Encase in the peppermint soap, and let it dry in-place. The soap kills the pests, the peppermint residue keeps them from coming back. submitted by /u/arandomvirus to r/plants [link] [comments]

Castile soap method + breathing change. mostly cured!
Hi everyone, here comes a long read, but have been having great success for around 5 months now and wanted to share. Some background, I’ve been dealing with BB for a long time. Not room-filling but enough to be always thinking about it and self conscious in relationships, the workplace, tight quarters, etc.. my first recollection was at age 10 or 11. My dad was helping me with homework and made a comment of how bad it was. Another instance at 12 with a close friend playing computer games. At a young age I started only breathing through my nose and would never mouth breathe, not even when I slept. (Fast forward to this year taking the bristle test and finding the bacteria was primarily anaerobic (ie, thrive without oxygen)...was not helping myself. I’ve been offered lots of mints over the years. People have even said, “did someone fart?” while near me and I know it’s my breath. The wrist lick test would smell like feces. Just sucks. So debilitating and embarrassing. Anyway, I’ve continued to try things for the last 12 years but it was all temporary. I remember chlorophyll supplements helping a lot but then gave me intense chest pain after a couple months. Same goes for molybendum, etc.. I will also mention that I often had an acidic taste in my mouth. So onto the fix. Two primary things helped me…thanks to the Reddit crew here bc both originated from this community :) 1) I was on a plane one day feeling so down about my BB and was in the depths of Reddit. Someone mentioned breathing into the back of your throat to eliminate the anaerobic bacteria. With nothing to lose, on the 4 hour flight as I was semi-trying to sleep, I kept experimenting and trying to direct my breath in through my nose and into the back of my throat. I was stunned that after a light on and off nap of breathing that way, i had no acidic taste and the wrist test was completely neutral. This was encouraging for me but breathing like this was not initially natural. Took a lot of mindfulness and I would practice every night when going to bed. It was hardest during the day when I was focused on working or other things, but slowly it has now become mostly my default. If you struggle with the anaerobic bacteria or have also tried keeping your mouth shut most of your life, give this a try. 2) I stumbled upon the Reddit thread by FredGarvinThePimp who was inspired by Napoleon7. I had heard of the Castile soap method but finally decided to give it a try. I have adopted their method with just a little variation. Here is my routine: - to make the ‘tooth paste’ i mix 1 Tbsp of baking soda, 1/2 tsp of dr bronner’s castile soap (unsecented baby) and 1/2 tsp water and mix to a paste. I’ll then store in little containers for easy access during the week. - in the mornings I will do a pea sized amount on a wet tooth brush and brush. Also make sure you brush your tongue. - next, tongue scraper - lastly, 1/2 cap of mouth wash + 1 tbsp of sunflower oil or safflower oil (neutral oils), + 8-10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil, 4-5 drops of frankincense essential oil, and 3-4 drops of peppermint essential oil. Mix mix mix. Swish half of the mixture for 30 seconds in the whole mouth. Gargle the remaining for 30 seconds. And that’s it. I usually do it in the mornings and in the evening before an event or dinner if I’m going to be socializing. I only do it twice a day. When I come back after dinner I’ll usually just do regular tooth paste. If I have an afternoon coffee I do feel like the acidity brings back my BB so I’ve been avoiding that. This has helped me sooo much. It has combatted the acidity and paired with the breathing I feel mostly normal. I had a work event recently and a colleague was talking close to me and then came closer to show me something on their phone. No reaction at all. So grateful. I hope this helps someone. Hang in there and keep trying things! submitted by /u/Sea_Order9208 to r/badbreath [link] [comments]

My face after using DR BRONNER’S PURE-Castile soap
What do I do? I got in the shower, used dr bronner caster peppermint soap for the first time on my face and in my hair, got out the shower, greased my body down excluding my face, went downstairs to eat pizza, face started itching BADLY, went to put Vaseline on my face, and I don’t know but I think it made it worse, couldn’t stop itching face for like 10 minutes. My nails and hands were clean. I researched and was told to put a hot cloth on my face, I did that and repeated for around 15 min, it doesn’t itch anymore , but it does look like this and my face kinda aches. How would you compare the peppermint Castile soap?
My husband and I disagree on how these compare. My husband doesn’t see any difference between the two and I definitely like Dr. Bronner’s more. The Trader Joe’s one doesn’t have the cooling intensity on my skin and I’m disappointed ☹️ submitted by /u/fresh-cheddar to r/traderjoes [link] [comments]

Thoughts on the Multi-Purpose Peppermint Castile Soap?
I bought it because I always thought the Dr. Bronner was too expensive for the amount you get. This is a smaller bottle and a smaller price. Having never tried Dr. B I was expecting more of a peppermint “feeling.” The scent was there, the feeling of all the oils was really nice, but there wasn’t much of a cooling sensation. I’m the guy who really liked Noczema in the 80’s because of how it felt… so much so I shave now with Cremo brand peppermint shave creme. That has much more of a cooling minty sensation on the skin than this. What do others think? Am I missing the point? I’ll go back to the Tea Tree Tingle shower gel instead of this, but even that doesn’t tingle that much. submitted by /u/WTFaulknerinCA to r/traderjoes [link] [comments]

I just used Dr. Bronner's castile soap for the first time. Scent: peppermint. And now my vagina feels like it swallowed an Altoid. Help!?
BTW, throwaway account. I don't want people from work to read about my ladyparts! But seriously. Has anyone else ever used this stuff? I'd really only bought it for my hair, thanks to this post from a few days ago. I opted for Peppermint because, quite frankly, I didn't like any of the other scents. I got soap-happy in the shower and decided to use it on my body instead of just on my hair. Like any good lady, I cleaned my ladyparts. It's now been a half hour since my shower, and my vag still feels like a tin of mints. NOT COMFORTABLE. Help! submitted by /u/peppermintvag to r/TwoXChromosomes [link] [comments]
