How this pipe cleaner bouquet order turned into truama
I recently made this bouquet—my third order of this kind—and honestly, I handled the pricing badly. I finalized the price at ₹1250, including delivery, which turned out to be a mistake. My prices are usually reasonable, but this was too low for the effort involved. It took me 3 full days to complete, and the material plus packing alone cost around ₹800. I was mentally okay with earning ₹300, even though that’s already underpaying myself for that much time and work. The payment plan was ₹700 upfront and ₹550 after shipping, and I agreed. That’s where things started going wrong. The customer wanted fast delivery. Until now, I’ve been using FreeUp, which takes about 6–7 days. Since he needed it quicker, I had to find another option. I went to DTDC first—they quoted around ₹1100 for shipping. That completely shocked me. I called the customer, and he suggested trying India Post. I went there, and they quoted ₹600. Better than DTDC, but at that point, I was basically making nothing. I called him again, and he sent ₹600 (₹550 remaining + ₹50 extra). Even then, I felt terrible. I stepped out of the post office, trying to hold myself together, but I was honestly on the verge of crying. One of the staff there noticed and asked what happened. That was it—I couldn’t hold it anymore. I told him I ended up selling the bouquet at a loss. He just said, “It’s okay, you’re just starting. Next time, be more careful,” and then asked for my number, saying he’d order a bouquet for his wife. That genuinely meant a lot in that moment. I went home still feeling bad, but I didn’t ask the customer for any extra money because the mistake was mine—I should have checked shipping costs beforehand. Later, the customer sent me an additional ₹250 on his own. I thanked him and apologized. In the end, I earned just ₹150. submitted by /u/SeaworthinessAny1429 to r/smallbusinessindia [link] [comments]

I made a whole spring bouquet out of pipe cleaners, and they’ll never wilt!
Finally finished this cozy pipe cleaner bouquet! I picked spring-themed colors like pink, yellow, white, and green, making dahlias, calla lilies, daisies, and hydrangeas. They look surprisingly harmonious together. Each pipe cleaner had to be bent and shaped repeatedly. Even though it was a bit tedious, watching them take shape in my hands was so therapeutic. Now they’re sitting in a vase, no watering needed, and they’ll stay this vibrant forever. I guess I’ve kept spring with me permanently submitted by /u/Creepy_Ad6043 to r/crafts [link] [comments]

Pipe cleaner flowers
I saw a video online where someone had made a bouquet of flowers using pipe cleaners, so I decided to give it a try. I found a craft kit and I’m loving it so far & have figured out how to make Lily flowers. (I’ve also made some smaller different coloured ones but can’t figure out how to add a photo of them) If anyone has also done this craft, how many flowers is best for a bouquet, and how did you go about wrapping/ arranging them? Many thanks friends! submitted by /u/witherskelton to r/crafts [link] [comments]
