In my opinion, you will outgrow that tent quite quickly. If you have the space, and budget i would recommend something like this Screenshot_20260607_165801_Chrome1080×3358 241 KB That should allow you enough room for a small shelf/table for a clone tray and you could still have room for a mother or vegging plant.

The evolution of my plant shelf
it is constantly evolving honestly. Sometimes it's more full, sometimes more sparse while I cut things back and propagate. Some plants get moved to other areas. it's all a process. It goes through stages of ugly and states of lush and beautiful. 5 and 6 are still some of my favorite photos, as everything looked so full, but I downsized a bit after that and got rid of plants that weren't growing nicely for me. And then I cut all my hanging pothos back as they had pests and it was just easier to cut them into a bunch of pieces than to try and clean every nook and cranny that snaked around the whole shelf. Also depression. Depression was the death of a few things here. My carnivorous bowl took quite the hit and some things died, others are still recovering in now separated pots. My biggest moss pole pothos died at the top from underwatering after I chopped it (the bottom is doing great though as you can see lol). That's life I suppose. I'm looking forward to the coming months and for summer, I'm gonna let the pothos and syngonum trail all up n down the sides again, and hopefully watch certain things fill back in :) And some other plants that are missing from the most recent photos, like my alocasia polly, have just been moved to another area. I might move it back soon though because it's outgrowing the shelf it's on and I think I finally got the spidermites on it under control! submitted by /u/softmossboy to r/houseplants [link] [comments]

Is this shelf and location okay for my plants?
Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m a novice and struggling with the other areas of my house to get the lighting right. I wondered if it would be okay to move most of my plants to this rooms shelf. Small window next to the cat tree face south, the windows directly across from the shelf face west and then there are skylight windows on top. submitted by /u/Binta020 to r/plants [link] [comments]

Finished my plant shelf - Whatchu think?
Bought a shelf for plants and ended up turning it into a whooole project, because I just can't make anything easy for myself 😂 I didn't like that you would be able to see the bright plant light strips while sitting on the couch across from this wall. So... Me and my non-handy self found some wood trim, which I cut, stained, and glued to the edge of each shelf, with the plant lights hidden far enough behind the trim so they can't be seen. Then, of course, wrapped up with a bunch of "cord management" to make things ✨pretty✨ Anywho- just wanted to show off my project because I'm hype about it. As a side note, and final thought: how perfectttt is the wood trim I found with the leaf detailing, wowza submitted by /u/Indecisive3641 to r/plants [link] [comments]

Just moved to a house with this giant sunroom…. And my wife thought I was a crazy plant guy with just my little shelf 🤣. I’m going to get diabolical in here.
Unfortunately it’s Northeast facing so not ideal but it gets a few hours of direct sun from 7-10am ish and is super bright the rest of the day. Plus I’m flush with grow lights so we’ll make it work. Plant shelf before and after 10 months of growth.
Pretty happy with the shelf growth. I added supplemental lighting that runs automatically every day and has controllable intensity and color temp, so in the evenings you can’t even tell they’re grow lights. I’ve got 10 of them throughout my house now and the plants are digging it. No cat tax in the latest pic but he’s still around somewhere. submitted by /u/akopley to r/houseplants [link] [comments]

Unpopular opinion?: I prefer my plants to be part of my decor, not just in one designated room, cabinet, or shelf.
I think cabinet/lighting/shelving set ups are definitely impressive! However I can’t wrap my head around having one designated spot for plants all crammed together. I much prefer them all throughout my home where they add a little something wherever they are.* *I recognize this does limit my ability to have higher maintenance plants and I understand why someone would have to/want to group their plants together or store them in a cabinet. submitted by /u/sha-sha-shubby to r/houseplants [link] [comments]
