The surface pro comes with the least amount of bloatware of pretty much any manufacturer. The arm chip does make the windows 11 tablet experience significantly better. Its too big to be a traditional tablet, more of a 'desktop' tablet, I use my kickstand a lot, and also folded almost flat for use with a stylus.

Overall 9/10 game for now. The only thing I think Saros did kinda worse than Returnal is story. It's kinda messy and too fragmented. But I love the gameplay of Saros more. I am so happy to share this, but I have just reached two hundred platinum trophies, my 200th one being Starfield! I’ve been a pretty casual trophy hunter for a while now, I don’t platinum every game I play, so it’s been a slow and steady progress towards this milestone. I know it's debatable if Platinum is worth the effort, but I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could complete 6 PQF's in one day (ultimately within 12 hours) for around $500 (using money + miles). I had a fun day in the air, appreciating the scenery around SFO, Reno and Sacramento. There were some ground stop delays at SFO, but luckily all connections were similarly delayed, so everything went off without a hitch. First flight departed at 8:40am and last flight arrived at 8:29pm, so all in all, it was barely under 12 hours! I’ve been an Amex member since 2006. I started with the Blue card, upgraded to Platinum in 2015. I spend $15k–$30k/month through the card and have never missed a payment. I also use bank e-bill autopay to automatically pay the full statement balance every month. II have had e-bill autopay set up with my bank for years, always paying off the statement balance, yet for some reason my October bill was not paid (the bank says they never received the e-bill, Amex did not comment). In any case, I caught the error the next day and made a direct payment to Amex causing a payment that was 1 day late. For that, Amex charged the $29 late fee and over $1,000 in interest. Yes, more than $1,000 in interest for one day late. Their “trailing interest” system is complicated, but based on my balance this represents about 1,285% APR. In 19 years, I’ve never asked Amex for any special treatment. But this time I called Platinum support and explained the situation and requested that the fees be waived as an exception. The rep said she could not waive the interest fees. All very polite. I asked to escalate and they sent it to credit, saying they would reach out with their decision. Well they did not and I called back a week later only to be informed the request was declined. The charges would stand. Now I accept that this is in their cardholder agreement and they CAN charge it. What I do not accept is this punitive approach to a payment overdue by 1 day from a company that prides itself on customer service. In other words, I believe I SHOULD receive better customer service after 19 years of loyalty where I have always paid on time and my spend is quite high, earning Amex significant interchange fees. I told them that if they couldn’t make this right, I’d rather cancel the Platinum card on principle. That triggered a transfer to the retention team, who spent 20 minutes reminding me about my points, remaining months before the next annual fee, and Platinum benefits, but still would not make me whole for the $1,000 in interest they charged me. So I canceled. The weirdest part is that Amex is currently offering up to 175,000 points to attract new Platinum members, yet they were fine losing a long-standing customer over less value. We also have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card so will just move our spend to that card, as they have so far always been good to us too. Mostly I’m just disappointed. I've been otherwise happy with my Amex and really wanted to stay a member, but in my gut this just feels wrong. Amex used to feel like a premium company, but their values now seem misaligned with mine. So now I've paid my balance in full and I'm just waiting for my final statement - half expecting to see even more interest. We'll see. EDIT: Thank you all for your comments. Many people are rightly mentioning the autopay feature could have avoided this. That is fair. On the other hand, I've been using bank billpay since long before Amex introduced the autopay. It worked for years until now. My chase sapphire is already on autopay so that issue will not happen again. Payment methods aside, I still feel gut-punched because I thought Amex was a relationship focused company that valued its long-held customers. Everywhere you look, people are doing mental gymnastics to convince themselves the Amex Platinum is “worth it.” They scramble for $5 credits, buy things they never wanted, sign up for random subscriptions, and overspend just to trigger a perk. Then they celebrate like they outsmarted Amex. The reality is simpler. If you are working that hard, the card is not for you. You are not winning. Amex is. You are turning your spending habits upside down for a coupon book that only works if you stretch the definition of value. Instead of twisting yourself into knots to justify $895 a year, you could just keep that money and spend it on what you actually want. Welcome to my guide: This is a good and guaranteed way to make MINIMUM 15 platinum every up to 12 missions. Now to get started you will need to get used to Warfram.market website to check prices / value of the items you will be obtaining. This is very important to know what you have and its worth. Step one: Go do the mission Void - Hepit. EVERY mission will either give you a Relic OR Aya. If you're fast the mission can be done in under a minute. Step two: The relics just open normally in a fissure mission, at the end of the mission you will get to pick between up to 4 prime items if you had a full squad, every time pick whatever everyone else is picking cause that's gonna be the most valuable 99% of the time, if everyone is picking random stuff then just pick the highest rarity item. Any brown rarity prime blueprint is considered "junk prime" ( mostly ) Why do people buy random prime items even if they are duplicates? Because: People buy "junk prime" to convert it into Ducats ( Ducats can be acquired by selling Prime blueprints at the kiosks in the relays ), the currency used to buy items from Baro the NPC that comes with a shop of unique items every 2 weeks. ( Every other Friday and leaves Sunday ) Prime items value in ducats range from 15-25 Brown to 45-65 Silver and 100 for Gold. ​ Example You can then sell the items however you see fit. That being said... For MOST profit however ( will take a while to get used to but worth it in the long run ) Separate your primes in 3 categories: ( if needed use a notepad, notebook or whatever you see fit to make this easier ) You have: Brown junk prime | Silver and Gold Ducats | Brown, Silver and Gold Valuable. How do you know which is which? This is where the market comes in, after obtaining ANY Prime blueprint look for it with the search bar, set to show and check the CHEAPEST ones there. That is it's current market value. [Disclaimer all prices are for PC, it may be higher or lower on other platforms] After obtaining a Brown Prime blueprint: check its price, if its under 4 platinum save it for the Brown junk prime pile, otherwise it goes in the Valuable category. After obtaining a Silver Prime blueprint: check its price, if its is up to 6 platinum it goes in the Silver and Gold Ducats pile, otherwise its in the Valuable category. After obtaining a Gold Prime blueprint: check its price, if its is up to 10 platinum it goes in the Silver and Gold Ducats pile, otherwise its in the Valuable category. Some browns can be worth even 20-30 platinum, gold and silver can be worth 50+ platinum so do check each item on the market before deciding its a junk item, can't tell you how many times I bought junk and I would get rare items, don't scam yourself. ​ - Brown Junk Prime: Sell Browns like this: 6 Browns for 15 platinum. Type in trade chat : | WTS Junk Prime 6:15p PM me | ( 6x Brown junk prime for 15 platinum, no negotiation ) ( for better efficiency OR if nobody is messaging you swap from NA to EU region in settings, depending on the time of day there are more or less people in each region ) IF you're not in a rush to get some platinum you can easily sell it 6 for 20 platinum every other weekend when the void trader is present ( Demand sky rockets during that weekend, you can see the timer for the Void Trader when he is coming on relays or here: https://hub.warframestat.us/ ) ​ - Silver and Gold Ducats: To sell ducats type in trade chat : | WTS Ducats 1P for 10 Ducats | Meaning the buyer will pay 4.5 platinum per 45 ducat silver, 6.5 platinum for every 65 ducat silver part, 10 platinum for 100 ducats. ( So sell silvers in multiple of 2 always ) So 6 silvers that are 45 ducats each will be 27 platinum, 6 gold will be 60 platinum. You can try to get more again every other weekend when Baro ( Void trader ) comes back. ( I even saw people selling 6 gold for 100 platinum, people are desperate for ducats if Baro has something they REALLY want, and FOMO is real during those 48 hours ) ​ - Brown, Silver and Gold Valuables. For the items that are NOT junk or Ducats meaning the Valuables you won't be using the ingame market, you will have to make an account on warframe.market, put the said item for sale ( put it as the same price as the cheapest current item on the market ) Then set your status as Online ingame and simply wait for people to message you to buy it. So while the items are listed you are free to play the game. (Fair warning don't forget to not be "Online ingame" if you're AFK or not ingame, people that don't reply to messages and get reported get a timeout and will be unable to use the website for a period as punishment ) ​ EDIT:Someone mentioned so I thought I should add this. Opening relics also rewards around 10~30 Void traces for simply doing the mission and getting 10 reactant. When you have 100 Void traces you can upgrade one of your relics to "Radiant". Radiant Relics have a way higher chance to give a better reward. Make sure to keep a few relics with a good golden reward ( Current best Lith you can get from doing Void - Hepit to radiate is Lith W3 ) After that simply go in recruit chat and look for ( or host yourself ) a 4 man "radshare" That's what people call it when 4 people do the exact same relic but also radiated which gives you a insanely higher chance to get a golden reward. People doing radshares will usually write in recruit chat something like this: H [Lith W3] Rad 2/4 ( This means they are Hosting, and 2/4 people are needed to fill a full squad. ) One last thing, in recruit chat top left, there is a magnifying glass. It makes the chat less spammed if you FILTER out words. By simply putting in the filter like so: It will considerably reduce unneeded clan requests and other distracting messages. (same can be done in trade chat) ​ BONUS! As I mentioned at the start you get a relic OR Aya when doing void - Hepit. While Aya is not technically "tradable" you CAN use a loophole that is quite commonly used in the trade chat. Type WTS AYA 6:40P ( if you're in a rush to get plat you can sell 6 for 30p ) The buyer knows how this works ( or does 9/10 times ). Aya while not being tradable, Relics are, so you simply BUY relics with the Aya from the Market > Prime resurgence and then trade those to the buyer. Buyer informs you what relics they want and then you simply trade those with him. ( Or you can do a radshare as mentioned above if you're feeling lucky ) That's the best and with guaranteed profit for a new player. I’m looking to reset my engagement ring, and when my fiancé was looking at rings, he said he went to ~20 jewelers in 2 major cities looking for the perfect ring. He wanted platinum, but almost all the jewelers pushed him away from using platinum. I’ve had both platinum and white gold rings and I much prefer platinum. Why are jewelers doing this? I heard platinum is harder to work with so maybe that’s why. Thoughts on having a platinum engagement ring?
