I would like to win the Tineco vacuum with mopping function. Moved into my new house last July, bought an Ecovacs T50 robot vacuum and thought it would be enough. Now 9 months down the line I find myself often having to clean the nooks and crannies that the robot can't reach. So far have been using traditional broom + mop but would definitely appreciate a vacuum + mop combo.

Which robot vacuums actually work?
And which ones don't? The subreddit for robot vacuums is overrun by sellers. It's hard to filter through and find real posts and responses. Which model actually works for you and your family? I know it's not a deep clean or like manual vacuuming and mopping. But which one helps manage week to week? I have hardwood floors and tile. any robot vacuum that won’t become a maintenance nightmare? (baby + shedding dog)
I know these aren’t really BIFL, I’m just trying not to regret this in a few months. I have a baby, I’m shedding a ton of hair lately, and my golden retriever basically covers the house in fur (and still manages to get into the baby’s room). My floors are tile so I do care about mopping, but I’m not expecting miracles. My main issue is hair and fur… every vacuum I’ve had turns into a tangled mess and then I’m stuck cutting it out of the brush, which I really don’t want to keep doing. Just looking for something that can handle long hair + heavy shedding without becoming a constant maintenance problem. What actually held up for you long term, and what should I avoid? submitted by /u/allegragmk to r/BuyItForLife [link] [comments]

i’ve read way too many lists on what are the best robot vacuums of 2026 according to professional reviewers?
i read a bunch of “best robot vacuum” rankings and somehow ended up trusting all of them less. seriously, every list seems to depend on who tested what, for how long, and what they decided “best” even means. one site says best overall, another says best premium, best for pets, best mopping, best value... somehow every model wins something. but in a pet home, that first-week review stuff only tells me so much. what i care about more is the annoying long-term reality: how it handles daily shedding, whether hair starts tangling constantly, whether corners keep collecting fur, whether the mop side actually helps with paw mess and floor smell, and how much maintenance it takes to keep the whole thing from becoming one more chore. that’s why i’m way more interested in real ownership feedback than polished rankings. for people with dogs or cats, which highly rated models actually held up after a few months of real use? which ones stayed easy to maintain, kept up with pet mess, and still felt worth owning after the review-hype phase wore off? i’m realizing “best for pets” means a lot less to me as a label than “still not annoying after months of fur, paws, and everyday cleanup. submitted by /u/Timely-Film-5442 to r/RobotVacuums [link] [comments]

Recommendations for a robot vacuum? Can't figure out which one to trust
update: thanks everyone for the input, spent a good amount of time going through all the suggestions and did my own research on top of it. ended up going with the mid range option, premium was just out of budget. so far so good, cat hair is actually under control for once. both mid and range found in this post robot vacuum and mop recs. assuming both are greate just depends of your budget. cheers. Tired of vacuuming every other day, got two cats and the hair is everywhere tbh. Been looking at Roborock, Roomba and some Dreame models but there's like a hundred options and i have no idea where to start. Some people say the cheap ones break after 6 months, others say you don't need to spend $1000+ to get something decent – super confused. Should I get a robot vacuum?
I have a routine that I'm kinda proud of, I do a wipe-down of surfaces every evening, laundry on set days, bathroom every Thursday. It's not perfect but it works for me. The problem is the floor situation with two kids aged 4 and 7 who treat mealtimes as an experimental art project. If its not art, it is most definitely someone walking indoor with wet shoes, bringing mud and what not inside. I feel like I am spending quiet a lot of time on cleaning and asking kids not to continue doing this, when do these people even start listening? I sweep every night but honestly by morning it looks like I didn't. I'm considering adding a robot vacuum to the rotation specifically to run while I'm doing other things, mainly chaos management. I have started comparing a few and it has been a long route. There are so many opinions and now I don't know what to do. The iRobot Combo j9 was my first instinct but everything seems concerning. Will there be future support if I go with them? Also looked at the Ecovacs Deebot X11, I think I am leaning towards this one. I also found dreame to be exciting enough to buy but there are a lot of mixed reviews. I have also found one on kickstarter from xlean (yes, I am the type to look at those lol). I found it interesting specifically because it becomes a handheld too and I can use it on my whims as well as set scheduled cleaning times. Now I am here to ask people who are using robot vacuums regularly, does a robo vacuum actually change how clean your floors feel in between proper cleans or is it more of a psychological thing where you feel better but the results are marginal? I don't want to waste my money by ending up with something that just roams around and not clean. Genuinely asking because I can't tell if I need this or if I need to just build better habits. Will a robot vacuum really be able to handle the huge messes created by 2 kids? submitted by /u/Electronic_Coat_2265 to r/CleaningTips [link] [comments]

Which robot vacuum works the best? Tired of vacuuming constantly.
There seems to be probably 25 different brands out there. I'm not concerned about price, I just want something that works well. Good ones aren't cheap and if it is going to keep my floors clean for years, I'll pay for it. My only requirements are that its self emptying and has a mop with it. Other than that, I'm pretty much open to whatever. submitted by /u/makeitthunderst0rm to r/homeautomation [link] [comments]

Vorwerk bricks all Neato robot vacuums
So, two days ago I get an e-mail completely out of the blue stating that my Neato robot vacuum has been blocked from connecting to the app by parent company Vorwerk. This essentially turned a fully functional vacuum into a brick of electronic waste. No more maps, no no go areas, no more cleaning single areas, no more spot cleaning, no more manual mode, the only "feature" left is a full clean of the entire apartment. Used that exactly never since I had the robot. They state cyber security concerns, which is of course a thinly veiled BS excuse for not wanting to keep supporting a product that doesn't generate revenue for them. All this from a company that openly boasts about the quality and longevity of their products. Fuck you, Vorwerk, thanks for nothing! submitted by /u/strat-fan89 to r/mildlyinfuriating [link] [comments]

Too many robot vacuum models… are they actually good and worth the money?
Hi all, I'm currently researching the robovac. There are way too many models and I'm totally lost on which one to go for. I have a busy house with 3 kids and I need to vacuum every 2 days or so to keep it clean (not that i always get to do this!). I just want something that actually cleans, real mopping, lasts long, not bump a lot. I guess I want to know are robot vacuums actually good? And also is a cheaper one mean an inferior one? I don't want to spend thousands on one because it has a brand name on it. Plus: If so, what's the best robot vacuum you've ever bought? Need some real-world suggestions. Thanks everyone! submitted by /u/throwmyheartaway23 to r/BuyItForLife [link] [comments]

I analyzed 1 year of robot vacuum recommendations on Reddit (Nov 2024–2025). These are the top 20.
I posted a version last year. Some of you have been asking for an updated version so here’s one. This time i’ve also added segmentation by price brackets - hopefully its more helpful. This is part of my project to tinker with Reddit data and LLMs. Wanted to create something useful for the community while levelling up my coding chops. The idea is to highlight which robot vacuums got the most love. To be clear, most love =/= best. But hopefully its a useful data point nonetheless, especially for those overwhelmed by info. Any surprising rankings? Obviously a single list is always simplistic. You may get more interesting insights when you filter the data based on what’s important to you, such as by price, subreddits, comments about pets, long hair, carpet, obstacle avoidance, mopping etc. Methodology in the comments. submitted by /u/heyyyjoo to r/CleaningTips [link] [comments]

Apple Watch obliterated by robot vacuum
My series 7 decided to fall on the floor, totally not my fault, then proceeded to try and bang my robot vacuum. The screen now has what I would call a matte finish. The scratches don’t appear thaaat deep, but I assume there’s no fixing/buffing this out. I only wear the Apple Watch at night for sleep tracking or during those rare days where I work out. The beat up screen actually doesn’t bother me much, but if there are any cheap ways to maybe buff out the scratches, any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated. If not, I’m glad I can at least share with you fine folks. submitted by /u/wongjoo to r/AppleWatch [link] [comments]
