I’ve had my store for 2 years. Only started to focus on it seriously past couple weeks. I’ve done an SEO site audit, fixed everything it said, got my product reviews up so I qualify for ratings on google, and now it’s time to ask for real feedback. I’m scared, but this how we improve, right?

Is anyone here actually automating technical SEO audits in a reliable way?
I’m talking about things like detecting crawl issues, schema errors, broken or weak internal links, and other technical problems at scale. Most tools claim automation, but in my experience they still produce a lot of false positives, so you end up manually checking everything anyway. Curious if anyone has built a workflow (APIs, scripts, AI, etc.) that truly reduces the manual verification. submitted by /u/SERPArchitect to r/TechSEO [link] [comments]

How I saved 60% of my time auditing metadata for Programmatic SEO
Hey guys, I’ve been heavily into Programmatic SEO lately, but checking the metadata for every single page was becoming a nightmare. I was literally using 'Inspect Element' page by page, and it was draining my soul. After a lot of digging, I found a Chrome extension called SEO Health Checker. It’s been a game-changer for me. Why I’m liking it: One-Click Audit: Gives a full report instantly instead of manual checking. Recommendations: It doesn’t just show issues; it actually suggests fixes, which makes the implementation part much faster. Massive Time Saver: I’d say it saved about 60% of my manual audit time. If you’re struggling with scale or just want a quicker way to audit local landing pages, I highly recommend checking this out. Hope it helps you guys as much as it helped me! submitted by /u/IMDYNAMIC7 to r/localseo [link] [comments]

Claude now runs my entire website SEO and content strategy. My mind is genuinely blown.
I found a Claude code skill on GitHub that runs full SEO audits. Then I built an integration so it could actually take action and fix everything automatically. Here's what it handles completely autonomously: - Technical SEO audits - Content audits - Competitor keyword analysis - Content strategy development - Writing AND publishing content via API to Webflow No manual intervention. No human bottlenecks. Just pure execution. I thought AI content tools were overhyped. I thought they'd need constant oversight and editing. I was wrong. The quality is there. The strategy is sound. The implementation is flawless. This isn't about replacing human creativity. It's about removing the friction between strategy and execution. Whilst everyone's debating whether AI will replace marketers, I'm watching it 10x my content output without sacrificing quality. The question isn't whether to use AI anymore. It's whether you can afford not to. What part of your content workflow could you automate tomorrow? In the interest of sharing the free tools I found on Github here are: The Claude SEO Skill: https://github.com/AgriciDaniel/claude-seo Example Output: https://www.growwithghost.io/blog/waalaxy-alternative-linkedin-outreach-without-the-spam The skill above does the SEO audit, then I asked Claude Code to build me a plugin using the Webflow MCP to make the publishing automatic just using the usual API key route. If you've got any ideas how to improve this let me know, good luck building your own. submitted by /u/Plenty_Eagle3160 to r/SaaS [link] [comments]

I audited 237 websites and 76% had the same SEO issues..
ran SEO audits on 237 websites over the past year. 76% had the same 4 issues quietly draining their rankings. most clients had zero idea these existed until we flagged them quick context: i'm running an audit monitoring platform. Our clients are mostly agencies, ecommerce stores, and some SaaS. the patterns we keep seeing honestly are kinda depressing because none of these are hard to fix, they're just invisible we found: 1. Broken Internal Links & Redirect Loops - 72% of sites had this this one gets me every time. nearly 3 out of 4 sites had broken internal links or redirect chains somewhere one ecommerce client had 180+ broken links on their product category pages alone, plus 3 redirect loops Google was getting stuck in. their bounce rate was sitting at 74%. people clicked links, hit dead ends or sluggish redirects, and left. Google noticed and tanked their rankings fixed it over 4 weeks. organic traffic up 43% in 90 days. kinda wild that something this basic was the culprit the whole time :) 2. Keyword Cannibalization - 61% of sites they'd unknowingly created 3-5 pages targeting the exact same keyword. Google couldn't figure out which one deserved to rank so it spread authority across all of them and ranked none properly one B2B SaaS had 8 pages all targeting "project management software for agencies." every single one stuck on page 4-5. consolidated them into one main page with two supporting posts. the primary page hit top 3 within 6 weeks 3. Indexing Issues - 58% of sites pages excluded from Google's index for reasons that made zero sense. noindex tags left in from staging environments, URL parameters generating duplicate content, orphan pages Google never crawled one agency had 34% of their important landing pages completely deindexed. they had no idea. they were genuinely confused why only paid ads were bringing traffic and organic was flatlined ngl this one stings the most when we find it because it's usually been sitting there for months, sometimes over a year :/ 4. Weak E-E-A-T Signals - 76% of sites the most common issue and honestly the least understood. Google wants to see real expertise, authorship, credentials, trust signals. most sites had none of it no author bios, no credentials listed anywhere, no case studies with actual data, no external citations pointing to them. for B2B this matters a ton because you're asking people to trust you with business decisions one client added proper author pages with credentials and linked out to 3rd party mentions of their work. domain authority went from 18 to 31 in 4 months. crazy 5. Failing Core Web Vitals - 69% of sites this one shouldn't still be a thing. Google made Core Web Vitals a ranking factor in 2021. that's 4 years ago. and yet 69% of the sites we audited fail at least one metric the worst score we saw was a 12 on mobile. 12!!! mostly fixable stuff - unoptimized images, unused JavaScript loading on every page, zero caching config. free fixes in most cases, just nobody checks the frustrating thing isn't that these problems exist. it's that they're entirely preventable and they compound. broken links + slow load times + weak E-E-A-T signals = a ranking collapse that looks mysterious until you actually dig in submitted by /u/Strong_Teaching8548 to r/WebsiteSEO [link] [comments]

RE:expired domains seo works in 2026?
From my early SEO experiments, I’ve learned that history and relevance beat sheer age. A clean backlink profile matters more than an old domain’s age, and you shouldn’t chase shortcuts. If you’re testing expired domains, pick ones that fit your new site’s niche and audit backlinks first. Otherwise you’ll end up with more trouble than juice.

Did I overcharge? Client upset about 18-hour SEO audit
Hey r/SEO, I just delivered a comprehensive SEO audit to a client and they're pushing back on the 18 hours I logged. They feel the report is repetitive and not worth that time investment. Need some perspective from the community. What I delivered: Complete technical SEO audit (crawlability, indexability, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup analysis) Content audit with word count analysis and expansion recommendations for each page Full GA4 + GTM implementation guide Conversion optimization strategy with CTA audit and recommendations Internal linking strategy with templates and examples Schema markup implementation guide with ready-to-use JSON-LD code for 6+ schema types Step-by-step setup instructions in appendices (GTM setup, GA4 configuration, conversion tracking) Prioritized action plan with weekly timeline Ongoing monitoring schedule Content templates for homepage and feature pages Total: ~60 pages covering technical SEO, content strategy, analytics setup, and conversion optimization The issue: Client says it's too repetitive. I'll admit I mentioned some action items multiple times (in the audit section, the action plan, the risk assessment, and the summary) because I wanted each section to stand alone. My time breakdown: Initial crawl and technical analysis: 6 hours Content audit and strategy: 4 hours Writing implementation guides and code examples: 5 hours Documentation and formatting: 3 hours Questions: Is 18 hours reasonable for this scope? Did I over-deliver by including step-by-step implementation guides? How do you structure your audits to avoid the "repetitive" criticism? Should appendices with code examples be separate deliverables? I've seen estimates online ranging from 15-40 hours for comprehensive audits, so I thought I was in the right range. But now I'm second-guessing myself. Any advice appreciated. Should I offer to condense it or stand by my work? submitted by /u/Dismal_Video_7450 to r/SEO [link] [comments]

LLM SEO audit: AI doesn’t trust your landing page. It trusts what the internet says about you.
Hey all, I’ve been digging into how AI answers “best / vs / pricing” type questions lately using amplift.ai, and something keeps showing up. When I looked at the citations behind AI answers, most of them weren’t coming from official brand sites. Roughly: YouTube reviews Reddit threads Substack posts third-party listicles Only a small portion came from the brand’s own domain. That made me rethink what an LLM SEO audit even means. It doesn’t feel like checking title tags or H1s anymore. It feels more like checking whether the internet describes you in a way AI can confidently repeat. If third-party content frames you vaguely or inconsistently, AI struggles to summarize you even if your website is perfectly optimized. Right now I’m experimenting with auditing: where brands are mentioned how they’re described and whether that description lines up with the intent behind AI queries Curious if anyone else here has looked into how often their product is cited by AI, and where those citations actually come from. submitted by /u/piupiuyao to r/SEO_LLM [link] [comments]

What do you charge for an SEO audit (and what’s included)?
I’m seeing everything from $100 Fiverr audits to $3k “strategy audits.” If you charge for audits (or you’ve paid for one), what price range feels fair and what deliverables make it worth it? Screenshot/video walkthrough, doc, prioritized fixes, templates, etc? submitted by /u/Other_Amphibian871 to r/WebsiteSEO [link] [comments]

What is the going rate for an SEO audit?
I have a quote from a company for $3,000 to perform an SEO audit on my website. On the surface, it seems a bit high to me, no? Edit: The site is small @ 150 pages submitted by /u/FormerLaugh3780 to r/SEO [link] [comments]

SEO on a Budget - With a limited budget, where can I get a reliable site level SEO audit?
I unfortunately have a very limited budget and as a result can’t really afford money to properly dedicate to SEO. I determined that the best course may be to use funds on an SEO audit of the site to then act on and make improvements (rather it’s technical, content, etc…). What product (ahref, screening frog) or services do you recommend? It’s for a very small startup company in the space industry (very niche). Also if you have any ideas on what additional things I should consider please let me know. I understand that to do SEO properly, real money needs to be used ($1000/mo), however that’s not currently possible… submitted by /u/OneBananaMan to r/SEO [link] [comments]

Articles / Timeline 251114 Having been postponed from October 31st, the 4th hearing in Belift Lab's damages case against Min Hee Jin was held at the Seoul Western District Court 12th Civil Affairs Division on the 14th. Representatives from both sides presented 15-minute rebuttals to content from the previous trial and 30 minutes for further arguments. The most significant new information came from Belift Lab arguing MHJ's claim regarding ILLIT's concept being plagiarized from NewJeans was a pre-meditated campaign to create a media war, weakening HYBE and giving her an opportunity to separate ADOR/NewJeans from the parent company. This information came from KakaoTalks and correspondence between MHJ and ADOR staff/associates. Belift Lab detailed evidence of specific cases of MHJ directing employees to tie some 4th generation boy groups along with ILLIT as copying NewJeans, drafting a press release to question ILLIT's album sales, and instilling fear in the parents of NewJeans, among other things. MHJ's representatives argued Belift's claims were a malicious framing and countered various issues, including that ILLIT copying NewJeans developed organically in public opinion and continuing to say the KakaoTalks messages used as evidence were an invasion of privacy. The next hearing was set for January 9th. (Sources: Sports Today, Dispatch, ChosunBiz, Newsis) Yonhap News: All NewJeans members did not file appeal in exclusive contracts case Korea JoongAng Daily: NewJeans members decide against appealing court's contract ruling 251115 Min Hee Jin's made another comment in relation to NewJeans' potential return to ADOR. She emphasized she had created the group to be five very intentionally, including conceptually in sound, color, style, movement flow, etc, so the complete form of NewJeans should be treasured. She noted that most of the legal disputes are aimed at her and asked that children not be involved. 'Children must be protected, not exploited.' (Source: MyDaily) Korea JoongAng Daily: Min Hee-jin urges ADOR to accept return of all 5 NewJeans members 251117 Korea JoongAng Daily: NewJeans member who was in Antarctica confirmed to be Hanni 251127 The 3rd hearing in the shareholders' agreement and put/call options cases between HYBE and Min Hee Jin took place at the Seoul Central District Court’s 31st Civil Division on the 27th with Judge Nam In Soo presiding. MHJ attended as witness to provide further testimony. A variety of issues were covered, including mentions of the dynamic between sub-label and HYBE executives, MHJ's recruitment to HYBE by Bang Sihyuk, details around the debut timing of LE SSERAFIM and NewJeans, and MHJ bringing up Sakura and Chaewon with the implication that there was a contractual necessity to LE SSERAFIM debuting first. Further, when questioned, MHJ denied influencing Hanni's attendance at the National Assemply or NewJeans' press conference and claim to unilaterally terminate their contracts. The HYBE sub-label is seeking approximately $68,000 (100 million won) in damages. The lawsuit is supposedly against the creator/operator of Team Bunnies (assumed to be a minor) and their parent(s). (Source: Chosun Biz) The Korea Herald: Belift Lab sues NewJeans fan group, citing defamation of Illit Korea JoongAng Daily: ILLIT's agency files defamation suit against manager of NewJeans fan group 251218 The 4th hearing in the shareholders' agreement case between HYBE and Min Hee Jin took place at the Seoul Central District Court’s 31st Civil Division on the 18th. One focus of the hearing was MHJ's legal representative making claims about HYBE acquiring the public relations agency TAG PR and the launch of minheejin.net, which engaged in targeted defamation of MHJ, two months later. After the hearing, OK Records (founded by MHJ) made a press release further claiming TAG PR manipulated SEO algorithms to push negative posts about MHJ up in results. (Source: Hankyoreh) The Korea Herald: Min Hee-jin and Hybe’s legal battle grinds on — even as NewJeans exit fight Korea JoongAng Daily: Min Hee-jin's ex-boyfriend behind K-pop agency that signed NewJeans during ADOR dispute 251219 The 5th hearing in the damages case between Source Music and Min Hee Jin took place at the Seoul Western District Court 12th Civil Division on the 19th. They mainly covered issues around MHJ's first press conference we've covered previously, like her use of the term 'thug' towards Source Music and the disputes around the debut timing of the girl groups LE SSERAFMIN and NewJeans. The date for the verdict was set for January 16th, 2026. (Sources: Celeb Media, Sports Today) 251229 ADOR released a statement on December 29th to update the status of contracts with NewJeans members Hanni, Danielle, and Minji. Hanni and her family arrived in Korea and engaged in extensive conversations with ADOR resulting in Hanni staying with ADOR. Danielle was notfied that her exclusive contract was terminated after ADOR determined it would be difficult to continue with her as a member of the group. ADOR's statement noted they would take legal action against a member of Danielle's family due to their significant role in the dispute. Minji is still in ongoing talks with ADOR and her potential return is yet to be determined. Can we do an SEO Audit without SEM Rush ?
Hi, I want to revamp our website, and I will be assisted by an external SEO expert and a webmaster. Unfortunately, my external SEO helper doesn't have SEM Rush subscription and I checked the price, it's quite expensive when you pay this amount only for 1 website SEO Audit... Is there another way to make an SEO audit without this expensive tool? Our website contains a lot of pages (we have a forum, tools, blog, a lot of product pages) Thanks for your help submitted by /u/Eastern-Fly-8493 to r/SEO [link] [comments]

Which LLM & AI tool gives the best SEO audits & recommendations?
I am competent with WordPress, HTML, CSS, familiar with JS and Schema, and I've managed the SEO for multiple websites since the last 1990s. I have a law firm and my schedule is relatively full managing the firm's growth. So I'm looking to leverage the power of ChatGTP, Claude, Grok, etc. to help me do an audit of my website and do some optimization. Which AI tool(s) gives the best technical audits & recommendations for credible & effective edits to sites for SEO purposes? To be clear, I'm looking for recommendations more powerful than just a plug-in such as RankMath or Yoast. I want to go a little bit more technical, a little more of a deep dive. submitted by /u/saguaros-vs-redwoods to r/localseo [link] [comments]

What’s your favorite free tool for quick SEO audits in 2025?
I’ve been testing out a few SEO audit tools lately that give instant website scores, keyword insights, and performance checks - no signup or setup required. I noticed some newer tools are getting pretty good at analyzing on-page issues and technical SEO factors in seconds. Curious what others here are using in 2025 - especially for quick checks or client reports. Do you stick to classics like Ahrefs, Semrush, or Screaming Frog, or are there any newer tools that impressed you lately? (If anyone’s curious, I can share the one I recently tried that gives full SEO scores for free - not dropping a link since I know promo links aren’t allowed here.) submitted by /u/BinalSheth to r/DigitalMarketing [link] [comments]

I built an automated SEO audit you can brand and sell for $1k — here’s how.
So here’s the play: a fully branded, client ready SEO audit that looks like you spent all weekend on it… but it’s actually an automated n8n flow. No devs. No “SEO wizardry.” Just clean nodes doing clean work. If this helps, I drop bite-size n8n builds + automations that land clients. Follow for more like this—quietly the best ROI you’ll get this week. 😉 What you’ll ship Executive summary + issues by category Per-URL insights: titles, metas, word count, speed, links, redirects, readability GSC performance (clicks, impressions, CTR, last 90 days) Branded HTML report (logo, colors, contact) you can email or convert to PDF Stack: n8n + DataForSEO (crawler) + Google Search Console API The flow Crawl site → wait for crawl → pull raw audit data → filter live URLs → loop each page → pull GSC stats → merge + analyze → generate branded HTML → download. The Workflow (every node, why it exists, and what to set) 1) Start What it does: Manual “play” button. Nothing runs until you click Execute Workflow. Why it matters: Keeps runs intentional (especially with API-metered crawls). Pro tip: When you’re done testing, add a Cron trigger so it auto-refreshes audits weekly for retainers. 2) Set (Fields) – Your variables Think: one place to brand & parameterize the whole run. Why it matters: Personalization = perceived value. Your report should look like you hand-crafted it. Set these keys (example): { "dfs_domain": "https://clientdomain.com", "dfs_max_crawl_pages": 1000, "company_name": "SEO Pro Agency", "company_logo_url": "https://yourdomain.com/logo.png", "brand_primary_color": "#3B82F6", "gsc_property_type": "domain" // or "url_prefix" } Pro tip: Keep this node at the top. Everything else reads from it = one-click rebrands for new clients. 3) HTTP Request – Create Crawl Task (DataForSEO) What it does: Tells DataForSEO to crawl the site. Why it matters: You need fresh technical data (titles, metas, status codes, speed hints, etc.). Key settings: Target: {{$json.dfs_domain}} Max pages: {{$json.dfs_max_crawl_pages}} Enable JavaScript: Off by default (turn on only if the site is heavy SPA; it’s slower/costlier) Mental model: “Robot, go map the house. Note every broken door and messy room.” 4) HTTP Request – Check Task Status What it does: Polls the task ID to see if the crawl’s done. Why it matters: You can’t read half-baked data. Pro tip: Keep polling lightweight (JSON only). We’ll throttle with Wait next. 5) IF – Done or Not? What it does: Routes based on status from the check. Why it matters: Prevents the flow from racing ahead and throwing errors. Rule: If status != "finished" → go to Wait. Else → continue. 6) Wait (60s / exponential backoff) What it does: Pauses before re-checking. Why it matters: You avoid hammering APIs and tripping rate limits. Pro tip: Add a “retry count” in Set and increase Wait each loop: 30s → 60s → 120s. 7) HTTP Request – Get Raw Audit Data What it does: Pulls the full DataForSEO results post-crawl. Why it matters: This is your goldmine: Titles, meta descriptions, status codes, canonical, word count, internal links, redirects, load hints, readability, etc. Output: Usually an array of page objects. Keep it raw for now; we’ll shape it next. 8) Filter (Code or IF) – Extract Live URLs (200s only) What it does: Keeps only HTTP 200 pages. Why it matters: Reports bloated with 404s/301s look messy; keep insights crisp. Pro tip: You will surface 3xx/4xx separately later as an “Issues” section—just don’t merge them into the per-URL detail loop. 9) Split In Batches / Loop Over Items What it does: Processes each live page individually. Why it matters: You can enrich each URL (GSC stats) and keep memory usage sane. Setting: Batch size 1–10 (depends on your GSC quota). 10) Google Search Console API – Query (Last 90 days) What it does: Pulls clicks, impressions, CTR (and position if you want) for each URL. Why it matters: Technical issues are only half the story; you need performance to prioritize. Setup tips: Verify the property in GSC (domain vs URL prefix must match your variable). Auth via OAuth or service account connected to GSC access. Dimensions: page (and optionally query if you want keyword-level later). Date range: last 90 days is a solid default. 11) Map GSC Data → URL What it does: Joins GSC stats back to the exact page. Why it matters: “This URL has thin content” is good; “This thin page also gets 12k impressions with 0.3% CTR” is actionable. Pro tip: Normalize URLs (trailing slash, lowercase host) before mapping to avoid mismatches. 12) Merge – Raw Crawl + GSC What it does: Combines the technical crawl fields with performance fields per URL. Why it matters: Full picture = better recommendations and an executive summary that actually sells. Shape it like: { "url": "...", "status": 200, "title": "...", "meta_description": "...", "h1": "...", "word_count": 734, "internal_links": 23, "redirects": 0, "readability": "OK", "gsc_clicks_90d": 214, "gsc_impressions_90d": 12890, "gsc_ctr_90d": 0.0166 } 13) Function/Code – Build Report Structure (Find Issues) What it does: Scans merged data and flags patterns: Missing/duplicate titles or metas H1 errors (missing/multiple/mismatch) Thin content (e.g., 65 chars → Rewrite for keyword + CTR. Low CTR high impressions: impr > 2000 && ctr < 1.5% → Test new titles/metas. Orphan pages: internal_links == 0 → Link from 2–3 relevant hubs. Redirect chains: redirects > 1 → Flatten to single 301. Deliver it like a pro Run the workflow while on a discovery call. Email the branded report with 3 “quick wins” you can implement this week. Pitch a monthly plan to monitor + execute fixes (your Cron job feeds this). If you want the exact HTML template and the GDrive auto-upload/email add-ons, say the word—I’ll share those in a follow-up post. I’m posting more n8n client-deliverable flows like this; if that’s your jam, toss a follow so you don’t miss them. 🙏 https://preview.redd.it/uo0upncunrmf1.png?width=1666&format=png&auto=webp&s=536f9abb3b918ae71a1c7f609fc474cbf2139900 submitted by /u/Kindly_Bed685 to r/n8n [link] [comments]

Is £1900 too much for an SEO audit ?
I’ve just been quoted £1900 for an SEO audit which is supposed cover: 1) Comparison with another website to see why my website ranks poorly in SERPs 2) They will produce a report with recommendations on what needs improving This seems quite a lot for me for this task. Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance. submitted by /u/No-Equipment5260 to r/SEO [link] [comments]
