I’m back again! This time I won’t say what my fiancé thinks I look like with makeup on. Is my foundation a good match for my skin? I got the pictures in natural light. Also, what can I improve on makeup wise?
Yeah I figured I’d come back and do a different post excuse my last one got pulled from the subreddit for not being kind to myself even though I wasn’t the one who said the mean thing about myself lmao. Anyways. I’m wearing the same foundation as I was in my first post where I was told it looks too light for me. And idk I think it’s a pretty good match. I got photos in natural light just to show it in the best way possible. And I was playing with some new eyeshadow I just got and I feel like I did a decent job. What can I improve on though so I know how to do better in the future! Today I did not use a primer. I’m using Tarte shape tape radiant concealer in the shade fair beige, elf soft glam satin foundation shade 13 fair neutral, formula z lavender colored setting powder, benefit precisely my brow wax in3.75, benefit bad gal bounce mascara in black, rare beauty blush shade virtue, Natasha denona my dream palette shades unity and invention, toy factory niaface niacinamide highlighter palette shade frosty opal, maybelline color sensational lip liner in pink coral, and L’Oreal hyaluron tint lip stain serum in worth it (60). And no setting spray either. Edit: mind you, I’m a millennial who came up learning full glam makeup and going light isn’t a strong suit of mine and I do enjoy more bold and less subtle looks it’s just a preference of mine submitted by /u/SpookyBoorito to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

After/Before Makeup
Been super duper insecure about my skin and face more than usual lately, Just thought i’d share some realness with y’all and show the acne/texture/discolouration I have + uneven face in full HDR, and how it looks with makeup on top…. haaaate the texture around my mouth and nose but trying hard to see past it, no amount of foundation or concealer will hide that. It’s just that time of the month where my skin does what it wants no matter what skincare or makeup I do lol. Also am currently using epiduo gel (differin + benzoyl peroxide) for my acne and that causes some dryness as you can see under my nose…. I’ve been struggling with bad oily/acne prone skin all my life and makeup has helped me feel more confident throughout the years! Here’s the list of products I used for this look: Skin Prep •Geek & Gorgeous stress less serum •Geek & Gorgeous Hydration station moisturiser •Cosrx Ultra-Light invisible sunscreen Base • Estée Lauder double wear - 4W1 • L’oreal true match radiant serum concealer - 4N • Kiko Milano sculpting touch creamy stick contour - 202 (used to shade nose + eyelid + cheekbones) • Sheglam Smart cookie palette (I know it’s eyeshadow but sometimes I use the warm shades as a bronzer don’t come for me) • Nyx butter melt blush - my butta half 01 • Maybelline fit me pressed powder - 120 classic ivory (I use a little to set my concealer with a small brush, then use a big kabuki brush of this wherever I get oily) • I am also using a touch of a matte white highlighter I found on amazon on my nose and under my eyebrows Eyebrows + eyes • Maybelline Super lock brow glue - 000 Clear • Kiko Milano eyebrow marker - 04 • Elf instant lift eyebrow pencil - Deep brown • Kissme Heroine Mascara Waterproof - black • Nyx Epic Ink liner - 01 Black • Kiko Milano Colour Kajal Kohl pencil - 03 (used to highlight inner corners) Lips • Maybelline lifter liner - 05 on it • YSL love shine candy glaze - 03 (just in the middle of bottom lip, then I spread it with my finger all around) • I forgot to add a little moisture to my dry azz lips before taking the pictures but I am also using a touch of Sosu Lip Glaze in Almond Butter! I do still need to buy a highlighter and a proper bronzer, I’ve been eyeing haus labs glassy balm highlighter stick in champagne quartz for the highlighter. Do let me know if you’ve tried this! and recs for bronzer that isn’t too red/orange as well if possible :( EDIT: Just want to note that this is not my daily makeup. It is not the cause of my acne OR making it worse. Makeup when applied properly with the right products will sit just fine on top of it. Besides, I go most days without wearing any at all because i’m a hermit that doesn’t like to leave to house :D and when I do, it depends what situation i’m about to be in and i’ll match my makeup to that. I would wear heavy makeup like this more for a night out, date, if i feel like it or if i’m even bothered. This shit takes at least 40 mins lmao. My go to if I wanna look alive is my eyebrow + eye combo and elf plums up lip tint on my lip and cheek submitted by

Makeup looks patchy and textured with NO foundation - pores look huge. Not a skincare issue? Help Makeup
Hi everyone! I need help because I can't figure out why my makeup looks so bad even though l'm using good products. My issue: everything looks patchy, textured, and my pores look super emphasized. The products don't blend out smoothly, they just sit on top of my skin and look cracked/ patchy after a while. Products I use: - Bronzer: Makeup by Mario SoftSculpt Cream Bronzer OR the SoftSculpt Stick - both get really patchy on me - Blush:Patrick Ta Major Beauty Headlines Cream Blush - this also cracks/separates - To set: use either Gucci Poudre De Beauté Mat Naturel compact powder OR Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder I don't use foundation My concealer doesn't look good either, I use tower 28 l used to think it was my skincare. I was using niacinamide + Vichy Minéral 89 serum + Drunk Elephant moisturizer. I stopped all of that and now I only use my boost Clarins moisturizer and toner. But my makeup still looks awful. So I don't think it's a skincare conflict. I'm not using foundation, just cream bronzer/blush straight on skin, then setting with powder. But it won't adhere, it clings to texture, and my pores look 10x worse. Any tips from people who also do no-foundation makeup? I'm so frustrated because these are expensive products but my skin looks better bare. Thanks!! submitted by /u/Fit-Course-9880 to r/makeuptips [link] [comments]

Has anyone tried the Rituel de Fille Weightless Serum foundation?
I’m exceptionally pale with dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I’ve been on the hunt for a foundation that won’t irritate my skin. My go-to for the longest time was the #13N Missha perfect cover Bb cream (the one in the red tube). However, I’ve noticed that if I wear it consistently I’ll start to have clogged pores and subsequent breakouts. It’s also ever so slightly pink-leaning on me. It wears beautifully but I hate the breakouts (I’m guessing it’s the mineral oils) and I’d prefer something that fit my skin tone a bit better. I’ve been eyeing both the Lisa Eldridge skin tint in 1.5 and the Rituel De Fille weightless serum foundation in shade #105. submitted by /u/Valhkyrie to r/Fairolives [link] [comments]

I finally figured out how to make my foundation look like skin instead of makeup. Sharing the routine that changed everything.
For the longest time, I thought cakey was just my default setting. No matter what foundation I used; matte, dewy, full‑coverage, skin tint, it always looked heavy up closely. I assumed it was my skin, not my technique. I started experimenting with my routine step by step and ended up discovering a combo that makes my base look so much more natural. It’s the first time I’ve ever gotten that “your skin looks amazing” compliment instead of “what foundation are you wearing,” so I figured I’d share in case it helps someone else. What made the biggest difference: - Applying foundation on slightly damp skin instead of fully dry - Using way less product than I thought I needed, like half a pump - Pressing, not swiping, with a sponge or brush - Letting each layer fully set before adding the next - Powdering only the areas that actually crease instead of my whole face - Finishing with a mist to melt everything together It’s not a “no makeup” look, but it finally looks like my skin instead of a layer sitting on top of it. I wish I had figured this out years ago. Products Used: Prep: La Roche‑Posay Toleriane Moisturizer and e.l.f. Power Grip Primer Foundation: L’Oréal True Match Nude Serum Foundation Tools: Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and e.l.f. Buffing Foundation Brush Concealer: NYX Bare With Me Powder: No7 Lift & Luminate Finishing Mist: Morphe Continuous Setting Mist or NYX Plump Right Back Setting Spray submitted by /u/Fashion_Girl_0620 to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

At my wits end with caking/creasing
No matter what I do, my makeup always cakes on my chin, upper lip and under my eyes, and most of the time around my nose but not as bad. For my morning skincare routine, ive tried waiting for 2 minutes, 20 minutes and an hour, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Ive tried exfoliating, shaving peach fuzz, tried different primers with different foundations (making sure they match water/silicone), ive tried a full AM skincare routine (toner, serum, eye cream, moisturiser, spf). Ive tried stripping it down to just eye cream and moisturiser. Ive tried using different moisturisers etc. Ive tried different setting sprays, and changing how I apply foundation, with a brush or damp beauty blender. Ive tried using more loose powder, and less. I think im combi skinned, leaning more dry. I know my under eyes are dry, but ive tried like 10 different eyes creams and am yet to notice a difference to any creasing. Is there anything im missing? Or do I just have to accept my fate of caking after an hour? submitted by /u/scrambledmegdesigns to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

FAE BEAUTY SKIN TINT/SERUM FOUNDATION - THE SEXY REVIEW
hello beautiful people! Thank you to the people who interacted with me on my last post here - it was helpful to know what all you wanted me to look out for! I will try to address the questions that were raised in the last post. Hope this helps you make an informed choice. TESTING CONDITIONS every fair test needs to expand upon its testing conditions. Here's what I was working with - medium-neutral olive skintone. closest foundation match: estee lauder double wear in cashew oily-combination skin. heavy acne scarring. weather: cloudy, cool, not very muggy or humid, plenty of sun. no primer. my regular primer is the danessa myricks yummy skin blurring balm, because its the only product that can control my oil production. Yes, I am that oily. But I thought it will be a good idea to test the product without a primer. why? for three reasons. average consumer doesn't wear primer in their day to day ideally, a skin tint shouldn't need a primer. i wanted to see how the product would perform against my oily skin without the help of danessa. I applied the product using my fingers as well as a makeup brush. SKIN TINT OR FOUNDATION? the formula doesn't quite know what it wants to do on the packaging that i received, the product is named "super serum skin tint" whereas on the website, it is called the face card serum foundation. this inconsistency is the cornerstone of this product. it doesn't know whether it wants to be a skin tint or a foundation. to be clear, the product is more foundation than skin tint. it's thick and goopy (and it gets everywhere!!) and when it goes on the skin, it lays down very much like an oily, heavy foundation. This isn't a negative thing, necessarily - but I fear for those of us who wanted rare beauty at fae beauty prices will have to keep looking. Full disclosure, I expected a skin tint and am on the hunt for a skin TINT. I have plenty of foundations and don't really need another one. THE SERUM PROBLEM - DO WE REALLY NEED MORE NIACINAMIDE? I'm copying this directly from the fae beauty website. this is what their marketing material claims Niacinamide (0.5%) - Brightens, refines pores, strengthens barrier Kakadu Plum (2%) - Contains the highest recorded natural concentration of Vitamin C - up to 100x more than an orange. To Brighten dull skin and boost radiance. Fade dark spots & acne pigmentation. Liquorice Extract (0.2%) - To calm inflammation and redness. Moringa Oil (0.5%) - Nourishes & protects against pollution Amino Acids (0.5%) - Help maintain hydration & skin resilience Hybrid SPF system - SPF 15 - Protects from sun damage I have a huge problem with niacinamide and other heavy hitter actives being in makeup products, because they don't suit everybody. The other major issue is, the actives present in this formulation are too little to actually have any benefit. you're never going to put enough skin tint on your face to have the full effect of niacinamide. and 2% vitamin C... give me a break? 2% is nothing. so what we have here is all these actives getting wasted in the formula, because they're too little to have tangible benefits. but at the same time, they are present and may cause allergic reactions to skin types that are more sensitive. This is a big problem with the sciencification of makeup. In order to make up for past wrongs, we have pivoted too hard in the other direction. We're putting niacinamide in everything, and it really needs to fucking stop. UPON IMMEDIATELY APPLYING... I noticed that it goes on incredibly oily. like, very oily. I wonder if the moringa oil is doing overtime here or if there's some other ingredients here that that is a heavy hitter. I am not a cosmetic chemist, so maybe someone else can weigh in. From what I can tell, in their effort to make the product look dewy, they have added some heavy hitter silicone products, in addition to the kakadu plum oil and the moringa oil. My first application, it was a little disconcerting to have a product this oily on my face. I thought I was applying it wrong, because the excess oil made it difficult to see if I'd blended the product properly. After going in with my hands, I also went in with a dense foundation brush to blend it. Didn't help. I decided to let the product dry on my face, before going in with the rest of my products. IT TOOK ONE HOUR FOR THE FOUNDATION TO DRY DOWN, the oiliness of the product began to settle. Just to give it an additional boost - I topped it with some huda beauty powder (shade kunafa) in the more oily areas of my face. After the powdering, it started looking more skin-like and dewy rather than just oily. If you do buy this product and plan to use it, i would recommend starting your makeup atleast two hours before you are to go somewhere, because even with my oiliness, it took the foundation quite a bit of time to truly settle into my skin. After my hour, I put some products on top. mac gingerly blush milk makeup contour nars soft matte concealer + estee lauder double wear concealer nyx i know that's bright palette. milani make it last dewy setting spray huda beauty easy bake powder MAC glossy liner - root for me MAC lustreglass alone time MAC kajal CLIO long curling mascara the products settled well and didn't pill or react immediately. I'm a little shy about putting my face on reddit but my makeup looked fly as heck (my girlfriends said so!). other than the milk contour, I would recommend all these products. anyway, back to the review. DID IT OXIDISE? yes. here i took the two photographs against the same window, and roughly the same angle. today, in my city, the weather has fluctuated and sunlight has been more or less steady. if you notice the two photos, it kind of looks like I've had a slightly bad tan in the second pic. does it look terrible? no. i went out and it was fine. not oompa loompa orange. but while purchasing, I would probably buy one shade below. of course, this is slightly difficult for me because the shade directly below my shade 31N, is 30N which has a "peach undertone". Most decidedly, peach is not my undertone. I'll just save money and go for rare beauty. DID IT PILL? no. here there was no pilling, caking or flaking. in fact, it blended most beautifully with my other products, to give a really nice glow. you'll notice under my eye, there's a slight fading and feathering. it looks like it is clinging to the dryness, but that's because i have run out of eyecream and my undereyes were crusty as hell. overall, as far as pilling goes, it has performed well given i didn't put any primer. IS IT TRANSFER PROOF? yes, somewhat. after it is on the face, there's slight transfer before it dries. but once its dry its pretty much not moving from your face. WHAT TYPE OF SKIN WILL IT SUIT? if you are someone who dislikes the oily feeling, it will not suit you. it may be best suited for dry skin, but to be very fair I didn't notice any substantial issues on my oily combi skin. I will say, if you have sensitive skin, its best to avoid because of the heavy hitter actives, the oils and the pore clogging silicones. DID IT COVER ACNE SCARRING? ohohoho, here's my time to shine. if there's any type of acne scarring out there in the world, I most likely have it. you can check out the pics I've put above, and judge for yourselves. Here are my thoughts - it wont cover the icepick, boxcar and rolling scars. it will cover some hyper-pigmentation and marks. think of it as your average medium-low coverage foundation. you can use it to even out the skin, not necessarily cover. use your colour correctors. HOW LONG DID IT LAST? It's about 75% gone from my skin after a good 4.5 hours. I actually don't like long wearing products, and to be fair - I did not use primer. I suppose with primer it would have lasted full 8 hours as they claim, though that's hard to say. I am super oily, haha. So, not a minus for me. OTHER SKIN TINTS? since this is a foundation, I think its unfair to compare it to the house of makeup skin tint - which is the only other skin tint that is being created by an indian brand. however, I will say - the house of makeup one is a true-blue skin tint. its a runny, beautiful formulation that sits very well on the skin. If you can find your shade in the house of makeup skin tint - go for that one. why i say "find your shade" ?- because you may find it difficult to. their medium m10 is NEON ORANGE on me. they have completely fucked up undertones. difficult to figure out which shade to buy using their website images. however, i have dear friends who have found their shades and are VERY HAPPY with the product. I'm just unlucky. such is life. SPEAKING OF UNDERTONES... I truly don't think the fae team understands undertones. They have marketed their shades as "olive" and "warm" and "cool" but I found it highly strange that no matter what I put, it all seemed orange on me. for reference, I tried shades in the medium skin range (40N, 30N, 31N, 41O, 42N, 32W) - i don't have images, but frankly don't think I need them either. just go on the website and observe their own images. the neutrals are very orange. the warms are even more orange. the cool will likely be peach. if you want to understand what olive foundations should look like, look no further than about face beauty - which i consider the gold standard for actually olive foundations. the difference will astound you. this isn't to shit on fae, atleast they're mentioning olive. but, be warned. you may need blue color corrector. LA Girl has a good one. FINAL THOUGHTS good marketing, terrible execution. I am more forgiving of FAE than I am of other brands, because I do think their brand ethos is very clever. they identified a gap in the market and are now having a lot of fun in it. I do wish the marketing would be backed up by solid products. unfortunately this hasn't been the case for the foundation. I am not a fae hater. I like the lip whip and the brown kajal. but the products have been inconsistent across the board. The lip liner fades after 20 minutes, lets not even talk about the gloss. Unfortunately for me, the foundation is another miss. Given the oiliness, the work it took to make it work for me (one hour wait is far too much) and the oxidation, I don't know if I am willing to spend 1000 rupees on the product. I can just mix moisturiser into my estee lauder and make a skin tint that doesn't give me so much trouble. hunt for a good skin tint continues... https://preview.redd.it/02r2pbg4zwtf1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=1754de868819451c6fac35e37eeb7ab5a17112a9 submitted by /u/SexyFoodandFilms to r/IndianBeautyTalks [link] [comments]

I am a DV survivor. I refuse to give ELF my money. I have made a list of popular products from ELF, against what one can use instead. Hope this helps!!
This is not an exhaustive list - in the comments please feel free to discuss and add suggestions. Hope this can be pinned. I will not even use the product names, because i won't give elf even that much free marketing. I hope the descriptor will be clear enough. Never owned foundation, now I own 47 serums
34F in Utah. Outside constantly year round. Skin is technically normal but I treat it like it’s dry because I live in the desert. In fall 2024, I got tired of constant ingrown chin hairs and started spironolactone. I added finasteride for hair loss in February 2025. I also use minoxidil on my brows nightly and dye them every other week since hypothyroidism thinned them out. I started microdosing a GLP-1 for PCOS in 2024 and have lost 90 pounds. I’m no longer prediabetic or hypertensive, and all my labs (TSH, cholesterol, hormones, LFTs) are normal for the first time ever. There’s a lot of judgment around GLP-1 use, but it’s helped me a lot. My family has always had clear skin. My mom used one night cream and that was it. I didn’t even realize I needed more than a water rinse in the shower until a couple years ago. I’ve never worn foundation, so I never had to worry about removing it either. Before: wash with CeraVe and done. Occasionally a hormonal breakout, but nothing major until I feel like I hit second puberty when I turned 32. Now: AM Splash water Vitamin C (Vanicream, Naturium, or Bubble) Milky toner Azelaic acid (usually Naturium) Barrier support Peptide cream Moisturizer (Cocokind Water Cream or Bubble Power Wave) Chemical sunscreen PM Oil cleanse, then water-based cleanser (prequel) Rotate: • Tretinoin • Recovery night (azelaic acid and extra moisture) • Exfoliation night (Prequel Milk Peel) Then: BYOMA phyto mucin Barrier serum (Anua or Naturium) Peptides (Naturium, Prequel, or Bubble) Heavy moisturizer (BYOMA or Bubble) Am I doing too much? Probably. But I enjoy it and I’m enjoying the routine. Fave brands Vanicream, Naturium, Cocokind, Prequel, Bubble (I judged them at first, thought they were marketing to kids primarily but their newer stuff is great) Sunscreens I like Face: Cocokind mineral, Naked Sundays Cabana Clear, Naturium Whoa Glow (I mix 1 pump tinted with 5 pumps clear), CeraVe Hydrating Sheer, La Roche-Posay Melt-in Milk, Trader Joe’s chemical, Innisfree UV Defense Body: Up&Up Sport, Trader Joe’s body SPF Sunscreens I want to try Bubble mineral SPFs First Aid Beauty Hydrating Milk Vacation Shake Shake BYOMA SPF Tower 28 SOS Versed Krave Beet the Sun Other stuff I’m eyeing Krave Great Barrier Relief and Oil La La Bubble’s upcoming milky essence Experiment Beauty’s serums and their molecular mesh I know K-beauty has great UV filters, but I like what I use and it works well for me. I stopped wearing makeup and threw out all the expired stuff. It feels good to like my skin. Still have some chin hairs, but they grow back way slower now. Photos attached. Proud of how far it’s come. submitted by /u/Shreddy_Spaghett1 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Spent 30k+ On Lasers/Skincare - Here are My Hacks and Takeaways
Hi guys! *For title it should be Lasers/Skincare/Beauty Hacks *I have tan skin so lasers are a bit complicated due to risk of hyperpigmentation I.e. IPL not mentioned DISCLAIMER: PLEASE double check this with the science, before/afters, own skin and goals, and research articles. I'm not a dermatologist but a majority of my friend circle are physicians and we all do this anyhow before trying anything. I don't have time to cite articles etc and this is just MY experience SO I thought after spending so much money and buying all the overhyped products I should share what worked for me to reduce my skincare regimen and allow me to be makeup free for work. So I've been deep into skincare for a long time and I wanted to officially share it as a lot of my friends asked me to. We don't gatekeep here and I thought Reddit would be the best place. My background: I'm into digital portraits and it requires an understanding of good ratios of the face. I'm also into deep diving into skincare hacks like all of us. Here's what I think works off the top of my head. Procedures Ultraclear + Coring: forget ponytail facelifts, lip lifts, belphs, skinpinch, brow lifts, etc until you try this first. A good tech can get you the results you want. Ask to core where you want max lift. Make sure they pass with all the levels. It's painful so use your own numbing cream (I think some Russian brands are stronger available online), numb for a long time, and opt for the laughing gas or whatever. Make sure to have them use eye shields for your eyes. Have them core in the direction of the lift you want. Ask for a map of how they did it. You'll want 2-3 over a year to get the full lift you want. Nothing supersedes this procedure. For healing: 10% vinegar soaks + ointment + Benev exosomes + Alastin skin nectar. Hydroquinone to prevent spots from forming. Moxi Level 3: It works REALLY well but it's a baby compared to Ultraclear. Make sure to try level 3 for maximum lift. You can do a series of 3 if you're not ready for Ultraclear. Fontana 4D: It also works REALLY well and can contour your cheeks skin the buccal fat removal. Moxi Level3/Fontana 4D def made me hot again after 20lb weight loss causing signs of aging before my wedding. Again do a series of 3 for max results. Ultraclear did the most though, I would do all 3 until I die or go broke. BBL Laser: It works and makes you look like you have foundation on (and gets rid of under eye darkness) but because of techs fears of hyperpigmentation (a real fear) it's hard to find someone to do it. PRF/EZGEL: My under eyes looked better but also the swelling stretched out the skin so it also looks worse? Not worth it. PRF or PRP is useless, the gel is the only thing worth trying. Laser Hair Removal: Make sure they are using the newest machine that is practically painless, find a center that does a full body membership it's cheaper, you'll need 8-12 sessions. The painless one is worth it just get it done all over at Morpheus: painful and melts fat stay away. I did it 3 times, it got rid of my beautiful under eye fat pads, it slimmed my buccal fat, and it got rid of some acne though. It's not worth it due to pain and fat melting and lack of skin tightness effects it so claims. Katalyst EMS Suit >> Emsculpt: They cost the same and both work but you can keep Katalyst for life. Just use settings on abs/butt and get up to level 400, you can thank me later! I had Emsculpt 5X on butt and AB's, it works temporary, now we own. 2 Katalyst suits and they make sure fit whenever we want and honestly just as fast. Emsella: Amazing for sex drive and preventing or helping with prolapse issues! Also works for urinary issues post kids :). Do 6 sessions for prevention and amazing sex. Coolsculpt: Bullshit. Can burn skin btw. HIFU: Melts fat. But it works:) so use in the right areas. J Plasma: feels like lightening bolts attacking skin and limited outcome, stay away. PDO Threads: Forget it, painful, invasive, temporary. Omnilux Redlight Mask: Get the MENS version. It works. Jovs: it breaks apparently l but I'm gonna try it and update yall later. Also curious about Amiro devices given what they say they do/tech they use. ZIIP Halo + Silver Gel >Nuface: It works better than all the other main home microcurrent devices I've tried (nuface, medicube, 2 others on amazon) get the silver serum as daily easy skincare. Forget the other ones. Things on my list: Sofwave, Emface (per reviews sounds useless?), Syllifirm, Profound, comment and lmk I'll try it if it sounds safe and effective. Injections: Botox: Prevent wrinkles (but tbh this is BS until you have a baby line forming), get rid of wrinkles, shrinks muscle. What I've liked: TMJ/Jaw Slimming (30-50U per side), TRAP TOX (amazing and makes your neck longer), LIP FLIP, NOSE TIP, BROW LIFT (only do the tail of the brow not the whole brow) and PLATYSMA (prevents face sagging and actually works, prob the most underrated and important area for Botox!). Filler: Deep Lasers ("lift" = volume) >> Sculptra (natural body makes volume) >> Slow Down on Fillers >> Injector >> Price/Injectable. Fly to the right person LA, Miami, or New York. Make sure the area they inject, they do often. Treat multiple areas BUT WITH 1/3 THE ACTUAL DOSE you want and go again twice. This prevents the botched look. Dissolve overfilled lips, it hurts, but it's worth it. ALA/Glutathione/Vit C: Shrinks pores and evens out skin tone. Make sure to add ALA for max pore shrinking. It also helps regulate sugar. You can also opt for liposomal. Go to a reputable IV center and make sure to have labs to get ALA. Peels/SkinCare: 30%+ Glycolic Acid On Body - Fast way to clear scars and evens out skin tone. Start low and increase slowly to prevent a burn. TCA Peel - Amazing for anti-aging tbh. But go to a spa and have them do it (face or full body) because it's more serious. Musely Spot Cream - Amazing stuff if you're lazy like me and don't like to do 100 things. Combines all the stuff you want for face skincare. Apostrophe Triple Cream for Rosacea - Top 3 ingredients that work for rosacea in 1 bottle. Also look into low dose naltrexone. Also moxi or ultraclear helps. Benev Exosomes + Microneedling: Use for scars and face/body with a home microneedling pen (max the number of needles Dr Pen is good). Calecium Exosomes + Microneedling: A godsend for hair growth. Retinol Gel .1% + Stack With Hydration: get it prescribed. Level up to max %, look up how to layer with coconut oil/moisturizers/Benev to prevent the ugly phase (breakouts, dry skin). Don't need if have Musely spot cream or alternate days. Clindamycin/Benzyl Peroxide Compound Cream: Get it prescribed and store it fridge now. It's the only thing that reliably clears up my acne overnight (I've tried dozens of acne products over 16 years). Alastin Skin Nectar: My main moisturizer post laser. * Wanted to add for Daily I use Prakti Maha mask because it works like under eye filler almost when you stack it on and gets rid of my acne without extra stuff about 60-70% of the time. I combine with Clarins double serum or snail stuff just depends. Also considering plated exosomes. Ourself Lip Plumping: If you don't want lip filler or just want to maximize lip size try this brand it's from the makers of one of the actual fillers and it works. Minoxidil>Grandelash>Latisse: Latisse darks eyelids /under eyes and lose eye fat so stay away!! It's so hard to get that fat back!! Use castor oil for eyelash durability and oral minoxidil for eyelash growth. Pills: Oral Minoxidil: Max your eyelashes and hair volume Low Dose Accutane: Freeze eggs before doing this. Derm will prescribe for chronic acne especially if on back etc. It will also help reduce size of tip of nose if issues with rosacea or thick skin. Gets rid of acne but horrible side effects even at a low dose. Spirinolactone: NOT FOR ME - will give me headache, dehydration, makes me dumb because I'm so dehydrated, worse breakout for months, also just not worth taking this pill. It may work for others? Eyes: Lumify (duh) Hair: Nanoplastia > Keratin Straightening > KBond20 > Olaplex > Dyson Teeth: SMILE Whitening (in office dental procedure) INSANE will get you white instantly Request for double frequency teeth cleanings Purple Toothpaste = Safe Alternative to Home Teeth Whitening that works better Boka Nanohhydroxy Toothpaste (so you don't loose enamel) Toothbrush with Water Flosser Combined (another lazy girl hack) Therabreath (contains xylitol known to prevent cavities) Mind Hacks: TDCS headband :) works for insomnia, works for mood I'll copy past all my comments into above later I use Elemind headband + Calm Sleep Powder for sleep after having sleep issues - (don't want to take meds, Benadryl is very bad for long term health and linked to increased dementia risk) Multivitamin: Make sure it has 5 methylfolate not "folic" acid. Try pure encapsulations or if you want to eat food-source multi try TEND prenatal bar chocolate flavor. Vit D: Try to get level to 60-90 it's suppose to help with a lot of things including depression!! Alzheimer prevention! Even used by oncologists to decrese cancer risk!! I take 50k unit every week and recheck my level after a month to make sure it's atleast 80. I used to have depression. Astaxanthin: 2000x more potent antioxidant than Vit C. It can give you an orangish glow if you overuse or if you're aiming for that! I used to use Vit c and other antioxidants. Omega 3/DHA (fish derived not algae!): Take it or eat fish it's good for you. DHA 1000mg I've been using for 10 years and it makes me smarter and remember more for exams etc. Silica Drops + Collagen 10G Daily w Hylaronic Acid + 100G Protein Daily > Nutrafol > Biotin/Hair Nail Vitamins: yes the standard female nutrafol works, I prefer Minodixil it's faster and better for me and less big pills lol. 1G Water A Day - Eat good food, drink water. Take collagen, eat protein 100G daily, fat 50G daily. Otherwise this is useless. ADD POTASSIUM (prime powder packets) to SLIM FACE SWELLING. Add gua sha or lymph suction drainage also to help. Sauna/Ice Water on Face also works. Low Fat is a FAD - Hit 50G fat a day - obv is you need to optimize weight lower calories and cut inflammatory food like most non vegetable carbs. You can take a food allergy test also and optimize. For example no tomato skins, no onions for us. Exercise (weights good for bones: BUT for brain benefits it's only with aerobic workouts!): increased bdnf and prevents depression also improved blood flow from skin - look into the research and thank me later - you need to burn 1200cal a week to hit this Dairy Does Cause Breakouts - cut it out and see if there's a change for acne Colustrum: ARMRA works better than others but they all work. It's good for gut health aka good for skin. Seed Probiotic: the best strains here. Rosacea/Autoimmune Skin Stuff: Look into low dose naltrexone and astaxanthin. Autoimmune issues cause the face to look puffy! PCOS/Hunger Cravings: Inositol 6G powder or gummy inositol/myoinositol Vitamin: Tend Prenatal Bar (hate daily pills) Gummy CoQ10 200mg Tru Niagen NAD+ (gives me energy) OM matcha mushroom powder (this flavor specifically has a blend that makes me happy/laughing next day, I use when stressed) Silica Drops (makes my hair shiny, nails stronger within weeks) Zinc Picolinate 30mg (if sick or acne) Fisetin (or Qualia monthly) gets rid of dead cells I just feel good when I take it Vital Protein Collagen/Hylaronic Acid Dessicated Beef Liver or Shilajit (micronutrients) Multivitamin: Pure Encapsulations ONE I don't take pills daily except multivitamin or depending on my aim. But these are what work for me and what I've read that makes sense and I've tried without side effects and some benefit x Inpsitol is a miracle that everyone should know about it'll legit make you less anxious too Deodorant: Chlorella Liquid (removes body odor) > Native > Certaindri. want to try the weekly devices out there that actually stop sweating but weighing risks. Native covers me all day smelling good and I used to sweat through EVERYTHING. Nails: basic - sally hansen hard as nails clear (drop 3-4 magenta drops of any brand in for a natural pink nail look) - silica drops make nails tough af - only do RUSSIAN manicures they are magic thank me later SUN: the sun is your enemy for skincare, it's time to be aware of this all the time! Legally UV tint the max of your front car window (there's a way to uv protect without darkening so it's legal). Always wear long sleeves or a hat. Cover face with hand when walking and unprotected. I use supergoop clear sun stick because I'm lazy and it's a stick and doesn't have white caste. I'm sure there's better ones but this is the best clear stick I found. The powder makeup ones are BS and don't actually protect you. A HAT + Long Sleeves >> Weight Loss: I have a chubby face if my BMI is above 19 genetically. Find the BMI you need for optimizing your face. I drink all my water before eating. I drink black decaf with monk fruit (stevia is not as safe, Splenda is bad news) instead of lattes. I put all my food on a salad instead of rice. I don't eat grain carbs because it makes me bloated. I eat spinach daily because it has highest potassium (reduces face bloating). I try to have have less than 1.5G salt daily. I also make sure there is IODINE in my salt for my thyroid (pink salt is causing iodine deficiencies and thus thyroid issues!). No dairy because it gives me acne (try cashew milk 25 cal). I hit 100G protein via NATURAL NO POWDER sources. Then I sleep by getting my fat intake (50g) and veggies cooked with seasoning I like or whatever I want to eat (kind of a baby Intermittant fast but more lax). If I'm craving sweets I eat frozen fruit and add fake honey (monk fruit sweetened avail sprouts). If you made it this far, the most important thing is to be at a healthy weight, eat right, drink water, no alcohol (I've heard from friends: Passion flower extract "anxiety" > IV NAD (addiction)), no smoking(I've heard from friends: Chantix > Wellbutrin> Nicotine Patch > Tapering Nicotine Vape ), no all nighters (if insomnia look above TDCS headband elemind > Calm Sleep Powder > Sublingual Melatonin). This is all I could think of but I've tried a lot feel free to DM me. I've also deep dived into fertility and dementia stuff for friends/family! If you want reccs DM! You can fact check me but I research this stuff just like we all do so you'll find out or realize this is likely the consensus. submitted by /u/Mindmaster04129 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

The Ordinary Serum Foundation is coming back!!
I've been holding on for dear life on my last bottle and there's barely any left. I don't wear makeup often anymore so it's lasted me a while clearly. I've been doing some research this week for a good replacement and was going to head out today to get the Loreal True Match Serum, then I got this email!! I'm so excited!! submitted by /u/jubejube321 to r/MakeupAddictionCanada [link] [comments]

Tips on achieving a smoother skin look? I use facial lotion, hyaluronic serum, pore filling primer, light powder, but I still can't seem to get that smooth skin look. (The second pic is from early in my makeup years, 3 years ago)
Each time I do makeup, I critique myself and work on what I can improve the next time. Over the course of the last 3 years or so, I've been improving each time. One thing I struggle with is the texture of the skin. I've got deep pores, and I can't seem to get a smooth look 😩 Like the title says, I use facial lotion and hyaluronic serum, which definitely helps. Then I use Maybeline's Baby Face primer, but the pores are still pretty visible. I've recently started using a loose powder over my liquid foundation, as I've heard it helps fill pores, but again, the pores are still visible. Is it unrealistic to think I can achieve a "smooth, flawless skin" look? submitted by /u/-krista-- to r/MakeupEducation [link] [comments]

Foundation Swatches for Bridal Makeup!
Am looking at doing my own bridal makeup this fall. I have combination skin (slightly in T-zone, some dryness) and my biggest pet peeve with foundation is feeling like I can “see” it sitting on my skin or looking cakey. I stopped wearing foundation post-COVID so I now need to find new products if I’m to have professional wedding photos taken! Photos are all in order of indoor > full sun > outdoors in shade and after the full shot photos, the close ups go cheek > neck > chest. There are two indoor chest photos, one where the light hits directly and the second is when I’m leaning forward slightly creating more shadow. Foundations: 1. Makeup Forever HD Skin Hydra Glow (1N06 “Porcelain”) 2. Armani Luminous Silk (3.75 “Pink Very Fair”) 3. NARS Light Reflecting (Light 2 “Mont Blanc”) 4. Estée Lauder Double Wear (1N2 “Écru”) 5. L’Oréal True Match Hyaluronic Tinted Serum (0.5-2 “Very Light”) 6. L’Oréal True Match Super Blendable (N1 “Neutral Light” 7. Charlotte Tillbury Hollywood Flawless Filter (2 “Fair”) Irrespective of color match, if you have knowledge of how these various foundations wear over time or how they typically photograph for something like a wedding, please share your thoughts! submitted by /u/PrancingPudu to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

14 year old daughter wants serums and foundation, I'm lost
Hey, everyone! My 14 year old daughter is wanting to get some good foundation and concealer for Christmas, along with some skin serums. I am lost lol. Im 38 and know little about serums even for women my age, but i have no idea what would be good for a 14 year old caucasian girl with occasional spots. Any suggestions welcome! I dont know where to begin. For foundation/concealer, i want to take her to ulta or sephora to have them color match her, as i cant even match my own skin properly with drugstore makeup i typically use tbh. Brand suggestions welcome here as well. Am i at least on the right track with getting a pro to match her color? Thank you, beautiful people! EDIT: WOW this post blew up, thank you ALL and God bless you for the help. I feel like I have a lot more info to work with now :) yall are amazing mwah submitted by /u/Onion85 to r/MakeupLounge [link] [comments]

UPDATE: I asked for advice last week on how to improve my skincare and makeup to not make me look older. Update for anyone that’s interested. Repost for selfie Sunday
I was so overwhelmed with all the advice and comments I received the other week in how to improve my makeup and skincare to help me look my age and not older than I am. Well I followed everyone’s advice with me skin care and makeup. I now use a dewy foundation and primer and have skipped the setting powder. Got eyelash extensions and have skipped wearing heavy eye makeup. I use hyaluaric serums and slug my face nightly. Thank you everyone for all your lovely comments. 🥰 submitted by /u/naselflee to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]
