What are the best tools for automating social media marketing?
Social media marketing has evolved from manual posting to highly automated, data-driven workflows. Today, businesses and creators rely on specialized tools to schedule content, generate posts with AI, engage audiences, and analyze performance, all with minimal manual effort. Using the right automation tools doesn’t just save time; it allows you to scale content production, maintain consistency, and optimize results based on real data. However, not all tools serve the same purpose, which is why choosing the right combination is essential. All-in-one platforms (best overall) These tools handle publishing + engagement + analytics + automation workflows, making them the backbone of most professional setups. Hootsuite - One of the most widely used platforms. It offers bulk scheduling, a unified inbox for messages/comments, AI-assisted caption writing, and strong analytics dashboards. It integrates with dozens of apps, making it highly flexible for teams. Sprout Social - Focused on analytics and customer relationship management. It includes advanced reporting, audience insights, and social listening tools that help brands understand sentiment and engagement patterns. eClincher - Known for automation features like auto-posting via RSS feeds, smart queues, and auto-replies. It also includes a unified inbox and media library, making it a strong alternative to bigger tools at a lower price. Sprinklr - Enterprise-level solution used by large companies. It goes beyond social media into full customer experience management, including AI-driven insights, automation workflows, and cross-channel campaign control. Scheduling & publishing tools (simplest automation) If your main goal is consistent posting, these tools automate publishing without the complexity of full platforms. Buffer - Extremely user-friendly. Lets you queue posts, manage a simple calendar, and track basic performance metrics. Ideal for beginners who want reliability without complexity. Later - Built around visual content planning, especially for Instagram and TikTok. It includes drag-and-drop calendars and preview grids to plan your feed aesthetically. Publer - More advanced than it looks. Supports bulk scheduling, CSV uploads, AI-generated captions, and post recycling, making it great for scaling content output. SocialPilot - A budget-friendly alternative with solid scheduling, analytics, and team collaboration features. Offers good value for small agencies or startups. AI-powered content automation (fast growth) These tools address the hardest part of social media: creating content at scale. Sozee - Generates full social posts, including images and short videos, from minimal prompts. Designed for high-volume content strategies. Canva - With AI features, it can automatically generate designs, captions, and branded visuals. Its template library makes it easy to produce professional content quickly. ChatGPT - Widely used for generating captions, scripts, hooks, and content ideas. Especially useful for maintaining consistency in tone and messaging. Opus Clip - Converts long-form videos into short, viral-ready clips optimized for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, using AI to identify key moments. Advanced automation These tools are used to build complex automation systems and workflows. TokPortal - Designed for scaling, it helps automate account creation and management, often used in aggressive growth or affiliate marketing strategies. Zapier - Connects apps together. For example, you can automatically post new blog content to social media or trigger workflows based on user actions. No coding required. Make - Similar to Zapier but more flexible and visual. Allows building complex, multi-step automations with conditional logic. Notion / Airtable - Used as content hubs. You can build automated pipelines where ideas, drafts, and posts move through stages and trigger publishing automatically. Social listening & engagement automation Automation isn’t just about posting, it’s also about monitoring and interacting efficiently. Brandwatch - Tracks mentions, trends, and sentiment across the web. Useful for understanding brand perception and spotting opportunities. Mention - Monitors keywords and brand mentions in real time, allowing quick responses and reputation management. Sprout Social / Hootsuite - Both include built-in listening tools and engagement automation, such as message tagging, routing, and response templates. eClincher - Adds automated replies and smart inbox filtering, reducing manual engagement workload. submitted by /u/sistyko to r/HowEarnMoneyOnline [link] [comments]

Looking to hire someone to help me build Claude workflows (beginner, social media focus)
I’m looking to hire someone who really understands Claude and can help me set up systems from scratch. I’m a beginner when it comes to using Claude for workflows/automation, but I know exactly what I want to build — I just need someone who can help me execute it and teach me along the way. My ideal setup would be: • I explain what I want to build • We hop on a video call • You walk me through exactly how to set it up step-by-step inside Claude • I learn while we’re building (not just handing it off) What I’m trying to build (in order): 1. Admin assistant system (help organize tasks, content, workflows, etc.) 2. Social media strategy system (content planning, ideation, structure) 3. Eventually: social media management system (posting workflows, scaling, etc.) Important: I’d strongly prefer someone who has experience with social media strategy/content creation, not just AI tools. I want this to be practical, not overly technical. Looking for someone who: • Has real experience using Claude for systems/workflows • Can clearly teach and explain (not just do it for me) • Is open to live calls/screensharing • Ideally has worked in social media/content strategy before Drop websites, portfolios, or people you recommend so I can check them out submitted by /u/Ok_Environment_5109 to r/claude [link] [comments]

Social media scheduling tools ranked by actual daily user for 2 years
Social media manager for 2 years, used every major scheduling tool extensively. Here's honest ranking based on daily professional use not what their marketing says. Essential tier is just blotato, only tool that handles platform-specific formatting automatically. Create once and it adapts for linkedin long form, twitter threaded, instagram visual. Real productivity gain not just scheduling. Costs $49 monthly and worth every penny. Solid but limited tier has buffer with clean simple interface and reliable scheduling but just delays posting and doesn't reduce work. Good for beginners at $15-99 monthly. Later is best visual planning for instagram but weak on other platforms, instagram-focused brands only at $25-80 monthly. Overpriced and bloated tier includes hootsuite with too many features nobody uses, complicated UI, expensive. Enterprise only at $99-739 monthly. Sprout social is powerful but massive overkill for most users, analytics are good but $249-499 monthly is crazy. Skip tier is most other tools, either clones of above or missing key features. Real talk most scheduling tools just organize your manual work prettier. Only blotato actually reduced my workload by automating the platform-specific formatting that was eating 8+ hours weekly before. For social media professionals, pay for tools that save actual time not just prettier calendars. submitted by /u/nadji-bl to r/socialmedia [link] [comments]

Business owners: what makes you trust a social media manager enough to hire them?
I’m starting out offering short-form content and social media management for local businesses, and I’d like to understand this from an owner’s perspective. When you consider hiring a social media manager (especially a beginner or small independent creator), what actually makes you trust them? Is it past results, a clear content strategy, posting consistency, understanding of your target customers, or something else entirely? I’m trying to learn what reduces risk and makes a business owner confidently say yes, rather than just focusing on editing quality alone. submitted by /u/No_Track_2154 to r/business [link] [comments]

How do I start becoming social media manager with zero experience?
I’m new to this and honestly feel a bit lost about where to begin.I’m interested in becoming a social media manager, but I currently have no real experience, no clients, and no portfolio yet. I want to start learning seriously, but I’m not sure what my first steps should be: • What skills should I focus on first? (content creation, analytics, ads, strategy?) • Should I learn certain tools or platforms before anything else? • How do beginners usually build a portfolio with no clients? • Is it better to start with internships, freelancing, or managing small pages for practice? If you started from zero, I’d really appreciate hearing how you began and what you wish you knew earlier. Any practical roadmap, resources, or beginner mistakes to avoid would help a lot. submitted by /u/KawaiiChestnut to r/SocialMediaManagers [link] [comments]

I want to freelance social media managing for local/general businesses, how do I start?
my experience only goes as far as managing my own social media(TikTok, instagram and Facebook) but I am tech savvy. I have a MacBook laptop and basic knowledge in Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere. I also do photography as a hobby with my mirrorless camera. I am confident in my ability to present clean, cohesive and eye catching content. Truthfull, I am burnt out from my dog grooming job of 8years. photography was an idea but I don't think making it a business would be as enjoyable or substainable for me as far as where I live goes, it is a very saturated career in my area. I have always loved posting and creating content and it is something I know I can be successful and actually enjoy. I'm 31 and tired of putting up with a job just for the pay and no passion. i want to be able to have more flexible schedule along working from home and networking in person. I want to learn deeper understanding on how analytics work, trends, profile aesthetics and formats, managing businesses' credentials. as well as how to pitch and sell my work. setting up your booking calendar or how to even set up a calendar for that. I don't have any knowledge on how pricing yourself works or what is ideal for beginner managers. are there reputable courses(would like to have some sort of certificate)? steps to take? any tips will help. thank you!! submitted by /u/Horror-Elderberry-54 to r/SocialMediaManagers [link] [comments]

Beginner-friendly AI video tool for social posts?
I manage social media for my company and I’ve lived in Canva for years doing static posts. Now I suddenly need to produce videos, and I have almost no experience. I’ve been testing tools for a few months, but most are either too advanced or too limited. ChatGPT helps with scripting. Gemini is fun for rough visuals but messy for polished output. Hailuo AI works for structured scenes, though motion can feel stiff. I tested DomoAI at one point and it handled certain video styles cleaner than expected. Not my main tool, but useful when others act up. I just need something beginner-friendly that can handle basic videos for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Any recommendations that don’t require marathon tutorials? submitted by /u/OriSparrow_14 to r/GenAI4all [link] [comments]

Just got hired as a social media manager for a local e-bike shop — what kind of content do people actually want to see?
Hey everyone! I recently got hired as the social media manager for a local e-bike store in my area, and I want to make sure I’m creating content that actually resonates with people who ride e-bikes — or are considering it. If you’re an e-bike owner or enthusiast, I’d love your insights: What type of e-bike content do you already enjoy watching? (Reviews? maintenance tips? POV rides? comparisons? long-range tests?) If you were shopping for an e-bike, what kind of videos would help you make a decision? Things like range demos, speed tests, brand breakdowns, beginner guides, etc. If you weren’t already looking for an e-bike, what kind of video might make you consider one? I’m especially curious what would catch the attention of someone who’s “e-bike curious” but not actively shopping. Not trying to promote anything here — just genuinely trying to understand what the target audience values and what kind of content actually helps or entertains this community. Really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions! 🙏 submitted by /u/Few_Difference713 to r/ebikes [link] [comments]

[Hiring] Looking for a partner to grow in Social Media Management & Content Creation!
Hey everyone, I recently started working full-time as a Social Media Manager and currently handle 5 clients. Things are picking up, and it’s getting a bit hard to manage everything solo—so I’m looking for someone who's genuinely interested in this field and wants to grow together, maybe even build an agency down the line. You don’t need to be an expert—if you’re a complete beginner but serious about making this a career, I’d love to connect. If you have an eye for design, can create visuals, help with campaign ideas, or even just have an iPhone for content shoots, that’s already a great start. Bonus if you’re into editing or can help with creatives and scheduling! I’m based in Pune and looking for someone who can work with me on-field for shoots. Remote editors are welcome too—especially if you’re good with reels, carousels, or post-production.
