What Are the Top Digital Marketing Agencies for Businesses?
I’m currently looking for a reliable digital marketing company for my business and trying to understand who the top digital marketing companies are right now. There are so many agencies claiming to be the best in SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and performance marketing, but it’s honestly confusing. I don’t want just someone who runs ads. I’m looking for a company that can actually help with long-term growth. Ideally, I’m looking for services like: • SEO (technical + keyword research) • Google Ads / PPC management • Social media marketing • Content marketing • Funnel building and conversion optimization • Website improvements if needed For those who have hired a digital marketing agency before: What services did they actually provide? Did they focus on ROI and lead generation? Were they worth the investment? Any red flags I should watch out for? Would really appreciate real recommendations or honest experiences before I make a decision. Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/Equivalent_Fault1103 to r/MarketingGeek [link] [comments]

People using QR codes on social media posts, why are you?
I keep seeing QR codes showing up in Instagram posts, LinkedIn graphics, and even Facebook ads. At first I thought it was a mistake or people not understanding how digital works, but it's happening way too often to be random. I'm trying to understand the reasoning here. If someone's scrolling Instagram on their phone, why would they screenshot your post, save it to photos, open the image, and then scan the QR code instead of just tapping a link in your bio or swiping up on a story? And I've seen QR codes in LinkedIn carousel posts where the caption literally has a clickable link right there. What's the logic? I run a small marketing agency and a client recently asked me to add QR codes to their social graphics. I pushed back because the workflow seems clunky, but now I'm seeing bigger brands doing it too. So either I'm missing something or everyone's collectively lost their minds. For those of you actually using QR codes on social media and seeing results, I'd love to understand the channels you're putting them on and why those specific ones. I want to know if you're tracking scans vs regular link clicks and whether people are actually using them or just following a trend. submitted by /u/Magnficent_Space_171 to r/marketing [link] [comments]

Anyone running a social media agency feel like growth gets expensive after ~10 clients?
I’m specifically curious about social media agencies, not agencies in general. From what I’ve seen, things feel manageable early on — a few brands, a small team, one or two platforms. Then around 10–15 active social accounts, something shifts. Not because people aren’t working hard, but because: Every new client adds multiple platforms Every team member needs publishing access Permissions and logins multiply Social tools start charging per seat, per brand, or both At that point, growth feels heavier — not because ads cost more, but because publishing infrastructure scales with headcount instead of control. For those running social media agencies: Did you hit a similar breakpoint? Was it tools, permissions, or cost that became painful first? How did you deal with it — new tools, process changes, or just accepting it? Genuinely interested in how others are handling this. submitted by /u/_jitendraM to r/DigitalMarketing [link] [comments]

Social Media Marketing Agency Starting From Zero
Hello! I am currently trying to build my own social media marketing agency from scratch and am looking for feedback on my approach to building traction as a business. For context, I am currently not a social media marketer, and don't have agency-level marketing experience. Just social media experience from running some of my own pages over the years. My professional background is in Data Management & Analysis. So I am looking to apply this strategic skillset to something creative. I am starting this social media agency from zero. I am aware of my niche (wellness, fitness, and beauty businesses and brands) I currently have one potential case study client (still working on 2 more), a friend of mine has a yoga studio and she is struggling to convert social media engagement to actual clientele. This is my plan of action for the next 3 months: Start managing my case study clients' work - Implement my strategies and learn all that I can about their pain points, what works what doesn't work. I plan to implement a 30 day content audit or content strategy offer. Simultaneously, I will perfect my agency's SOPs and client management processes and skills. Simultaneously build my own agency's social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, Tiktok), and towards the end of my After 4-6 weeks of case study work I plan to officially onboard those clients and/or move onto paying clients that I have recruited from my social media presence, cold-pitching, and networking. My goal is land 4 paying clients by March 2026 Is this feasible? Is the market to saturated? As apart of my business model/offer suite I do plan to incorporate AI prompts and automation in the services I provide for these clients as a way to help "sweeten the offer" and help my agency to stand out. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated! Thanks! submitted by /u/Wooden-Share-2460 to r/SocialMediaMarketing [link] [comments]

How do you know if your social media agency is actually worth the retainer?
We've been paying a social agency around $4k/month for almost a year - they handle content, scheduling, and community management. But lately, I've been wondering what exactly I'm getting for that. The reports are full of engagement graphs, but our sales and lead gen haven't moved much. I'm not necessarily unhappy, but I also can't tell if we're overspending. How do you actually measure ROI for social media work? Are there any fair benchmarks or red flags I should watch for before deciding whether to switch agencies? submitted by /u/Suspicious-Drummer68 to r/SocialMediaMarketing [link] [comments]

0-30k a Month - What I learnt running a marketing agency for 5 years
I’ve been meaning to make this post for a while because a lot of my agency success has actually come from Reddit. I personally started to see the most success in my life when I realized there was no point in trying to gatekeep information. So I guess you could say this post is me doubling down on that. I think this post will be useful to agency owners at all sizes. I’ll walk you through how I got my first few clients, how I scaled to my first 30k month, and I’ll touch on a couple of life lessons I picked up along the way. So let’s get into my agency story time. Quick Backstory My agency journey started in 2020, but my ecom journey probably started in middle school about 15 years ago. My first business started off with $100 I got for Christmas and me just recognizing the demand for cheap clothing and knock-offs. From ages 12 to 16 I sold everything that was trending. If you’re my around age, think silly bandz, G-Shocks, crewnecks, snapbacks, OBEY etc. By 16, I expanded past selling locally. I dabbled in affiliate marketing, eBay dropshipping, and eventually got into Shopify. 20+ underwhelming brands later, I finished high school and started my Digital Business Marketing degree in college. Between tuition and getting wrecked in the crypto market, the 40k I had saved vanished in less than 18 months. That’s when the agency was born. I got a minimum wage job at a grocery store and met my current business partner. We were both entrepreneurial hustler types. He had a friend who ran a successful agency and gave us free access to his course. We learned a lot from him because he was already a top 2% earner at 18. The agency path just made sense. I had ecom experience, and my FB account had just gotten banned for copyright on the brand I was running. How I got my first 3 clients The story behind my first 3 clients is kinda silly. I had a mentor tell me recently, “you need to go back to being r*tarded,” because my blind optimism and quirky personality were my competitive advantage. My first client DMed me saying “whatsup.” Let’s call him Jeff. At the time, I had post notifications on for Shopify’s Twitter account and would reply to every tweet just saying dumb shit. The reply that got Jeff to DM me was a pic of my friend’s puppy with the caption: “My friend says you should get your email marketing setup ASAP.” Jeff was 16, from my area, and doing 80k/month selling giant plushie d*cks. He thought my post was funny and hit me up. We talked for a few days, and boom. First client. To this day, he’s still one of the most valuable people in my network. Sends me referrals all the time. His network blows my mind. Major lesson here, he just messages anyone who seems cool and is into ecommerce. Client 2 came from cold DM. COVID had just hit, and our whole pitch was aimed at brick-and-mortar stores that were forced to close temporarily. We’d ask: “Are you selling online? What are you doing with your emails?” and pitch something like: “Let us run your emails free for 30 days. If you like it, keep going. Only pay a commission on the extra money we bring in.” Client 3 was a dropshipper who started seeing my tweets because Jeff followed me and would reply tomy tweets all the time. By the time my partner DMed him, he was already a warm lead. Closed easily. He said, “I’ve been seeing you guys online for a while.” Remember that quote. It became a recurring theme once we started scaling. First 30k Month We hit 30k/month in our first year. Started Q1, and by Q4 we had a solid roster and some decent employees. First half of the year was cold DMs and referrals. Second half, we landed a couple more big clients through referrals. Rev share plus the Q4 boost made it feel like we were printing money. Starting back from zero This was a huge learning experience. I didn’t realize how inflated Q4 sales really are. At that point, all our clients were young dropshippers, and they started dropping like flies in Q1. Ad bans, payment processor issues, low product demand. The entire roster fizzled out. We thought we were about to hit 50k/month. In reality, we were further from it than ever. I had to rebuild from Reddit and Facebook. Started posting value posts every week. At first, it was general stuff, but I quickly realized no one cares unless you give up real info. I became an open book. Some posts were so detailed that other agency owners would DM me saying I was “ruining the market.” But I didn’t care. If I could genuinely help people, I knew I’d start building trust and a name for myself. Sales calls got simple. People would say things like: “I’ve been sending your posts to my marketing team and they still won’t do it.” “I’ve been seeing your posts for months.” “I already know you know what you’re doing. What’s the price? Send the invoice.” That shift got us away from dropshippers and into more legit brands. We got back to 30k/month. Then had our worst year ever trying to hit 50k/month. Worst year ever This was the year everything looked like it was clicking. But we got humbled fast. Our “best” employee started stealing time. He billed us for freelance work that he did on the side. We caught him with a time tracking software. Fired him. He instantly DMed all our clients and actually landed one by offering a dirt-cheap rate. He’d already been managing the account for months, so it was an easy switch for them. Then we lost our biggest long-term client. He got angel investor for a new production facility and the investor brought his own team. One of their rules to get the investment was to use their in-house marketers. That client was almost a third of our revenue. We’d scaled him from 80k/month to almost 300k/month. That one hurt. Lesson learned. No client is guaranteed. Sometimes good work gets you fired. Same month, we lost a few more clients for dumb reasons. One guy dropped us because we took a call with his biggest competitor. We had no idea how small the niche was. He saw it as a conflict of interest. Looking back, I get it. But still an L. Our outreach system fell apart. Mods banned me from the best subs. We tried cold email. First guy we hired had a “guarantee.” Never booked a single call. We got a refund, but wasted six months. Hired another guy. Still nothing. Wasted thousands. Personal shit started piling on too. Felt like a movie. Partner diagnosed with cancer. Ex faked a pregnancy. Grandparents passed. That stretch was brutal and probably affected the quality of our work too. Scaling to 50k/month This is where I’m at now. After the bad year, I went back to what worked. Posting and building connections. Filming content even though I hate being on camera. Running ads to boost reach. Doing cold email myself. Getting some traction again. Some of our the biggest wins have come from the people I’ve met on Reddit. Some white-label our services. Some send us leads. Some Redditors are literally just good friends that I met online. Biggest takeaways Focus on building relationships in the right places instead of chasing quick cash Don’t gatekeep. Generic value posts suck. Show you actually know what you’re doing Lead magnets beat cold outreach. Better sales positioning Be picky with clients. Cheap ones are usually the biggest headaches Never rely on one client. Even if you’re crushing it, you can still get dropped Conclusion This post got longer than I expected. There’s more I could say but I tried to keep it tight without skipping parts of the story. If you’re just starting out, I hope this helped. Build a good offer, get experience, and leverage your first real case study. If you’re running a bigger agency, I’d love to learn from you. I’ve never managed more than 13 clients at once. Can’t imagine the logistics of doing 30+. Final note. Reddit is underrated. Don’t be afraid to leave comment on a hot post or respond to someone with something valuable. You never know who’s lurking. And you never know who’s got clients to send your way. Just remember, social media only changes your life if you’re willing to give more than you take. You’re either a creator or a consumer. P.S: This is my personal account not my agency account. I wanted to keep this post separate from that account because I'd consider this personal. submitted by /u/Mattrapbeats to r/agency [link] [comments]

Reddit overtakes X in popularity of social media platforms in UK $RDDT
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2024/nov/28/reddit-overtakes-x-in-popularity-of-social-media-platforms-in-uk Reddit, the American online discussion platform, has overtaken X to become the fifth most popular social media platform in the UK, according to the communications watchdog. Ofcom said Reddit, where users post on discussion threads within topic-based communities, was visited by 22.9 million UK adults in May this year, compared with 22.1 million on X. The figures make Reddit the fastest-growing large social media platform in the UK and represent a growth of 47% on the same period in 2023. The leap took Reddit above LinkedIn and X into fifth place on the table of UK social media platforms, which is now topped by YouTube after it overtook Facebook, reaching more than 44 million adults. Reddit, renowned for its devoted user base who refer to one another as Redditors, appears to have been boosted by updates to Google’s search engine this year. Farhad Divecha, the managing director of the UK-based digital marketing agency AccuraCast, said: “Google’s latest algorithm update in the first half of 2024 gave Reddit a big boost in organic search traffic. I think that has probably contributed a lot.” Ofcom also speculated that the change may have been caused by alterations to how third-party apps accessed its content, forcing users of those apps to switch to the Reddit site. The watchdog also flagged publicity around Reddit’s stock market flotation in March this year. The popularity of X also fell over the same period, according to Ofcom, with its reach falling by 8% since May last year. X has been criticised over content moderation standards since its takeover by Elon Musk in 2022 but it has also faced competition since July 2023 from Threads, a rival to X launched by Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta. The Ofcom figures featured in the watchdog’s annual report into the nation’s digital habits, which revealed that four out of 10 UK adults say they have encountered misinformation or deepfakes, with the majority of those cases occurring online. The misinformation survey, based on a poll of more than 4,000 UK adults, also found that three in 10 adults believe there is a single group of people who control the world together, with the same number believing there is “significant evidence” of electoral fraud in the UK. The regulator also found that one-third of UK adults are not confident in judging whether an image or a piece of audio or video has been created by artificial intelligence. submitted by /u/caollero to r/stocks [link] [comments]

The media is lying about how bad the job market is
I keep seeing tweets and social media posts form people like Tom Nichols and other elites who insist that unemployment is still low and anyone who thinks the job market is bad is "feeding into the negativitity" with the implication it's just NOT THAT BAD OUT THERE. You guys this sh&t is BAD. I can't even get recruiters at staffing agencies to get me an interview with the exception of one position that wasn't in an industry I wanted to work in over 2 hour commute.. I interviewed for a TEMP position at a respected college at their medical division. This is a school with BILLIONS in endowments and funding. The recruiter was from India so I didn't believe it was real at first (we know why not being racist) but it was. They wanted a longterm commitment for onsite 5 days a week in the most expensive city in the country paying $32 an hour and no benefits. That's right. No benefits and about $12 more an hour than a fast food restaurant. Oh I didn't get it the job even after 2 interviews. I saw a Project Manager level 5 at a large tech company that pays $40 an hour. A few years ago the same job paid over $60 an hour. Also recently I've heard about 5 suic*des directly related to work. 1 was an finance firm locally. Another was at a large insurance company. He shot himself at work. Another was a woman whose angry bitter husband updated her LI account and claimed she was overworked and begged for more help but they wouldn't hire anyone. Another was a man who jumped off the roof of a bank recently. There is also 1 that I'm not sure was related to work. He was a recent grad who got a job as an engineer at a top tech firm. He jumped off the Golden Gate bridge. All these happened recently. How many more that we don't hear about? Sorry to be negative but does anyone else think the job market is worse than the media and government admit? submitted by /u/nonetodaysu to r/recruitinghell [link] [comments]

All the agencies, brokers, banks, and market makers are colluding to prevent MOASS. There is one possible catalyst, and one for sure catalyst.
As the title says, everyone who currently controls the money is colluding to keep us from MOASS and our trip on the rocket. The following thoughts occurred to me last night as I was laying in bed wondering wen pay off mortgage, and how we make it happen faster because I sure could use those sweet sweet tendies. Need proof? Here's what I can think of off the top of my head. - Remember the big margin call on Robbingdahood? It was something like 3 BILLION dollars. They got a solid favor to drop that down to 700 million, and none of the agencies or banks seemed to complain. - Other margin calls? We all know there have been calls. Somehow miraculously they've been covered over and over allowing this bullshit to continue... at least we think they've been covered. Given above it's entirely possible that those calls were greatly reduced or perhaps not even exercised. Is there even a strict law about margin calls or is this part of their "self regulation?" - In the SEC report it was shown that the OCC was woefully short on deposits to cover obligations, and that was just digging into GME. We know for a fact there are other stonks working on their own squeeze. - There's been all sorts of delays in transfers to other brokerages, and then to Computershare. Almost like they can't find the shares (there's even been some chat screenshots to this effect). If the DTCC is truly doing their job of holding the shares this should never ever be an issue, and yet it is. - There's the banks quarterly earnings reports showing they are flush with cash (BEST QUARTER EVER, BRO!). Yet we've seen inflation skyrocket, and what's up with those reverse repos cranking over a trillion every day for the last month? Heck we're closing in on 1.5 trillion and will hit that on the regular pretty soon. - There's the SEC report basically saying all is well, and we're not going to take any action when our outstanding DD has shown all sorts of fuckery. Not just fuckery, but straight up illegal actions. Yet, nobody seems to be bothered by it other than us Apes. - There's those long puts that are well above the free float. That raised some red flags for us, but the agencies overseeing this can't seem to give a shit. - There's the fuckery with the ETFs. - There's that attempt to hide shit in the Brazilian banking system. I guarantee Brazil is not the only place they are attempting to hide things. - There's the non-existent hedge funds (I think it was iceberg or glacier or some shit like that). - There's the paid "speaking fees" going to government representatives. - There's the campaign contributions that seem to fall into the circle of families of elected officials who are pretty close (married) to people such as the CEO of NYSE, or heads of regulating bodies. - There's the insider trading among MM and government officials. - There's the people running the agencies who conveniently used to hold pretty high positions at money makers or brokers. - There's the massive amount of fuckery going on with Credit Suisse. - Something is up with BoA. - I'm sure we'll eventually see some new form of fuckery from Wells Fargo since they seem to specialize in fuckery (why does anyone still bank with them?) - There's the collapse of China housing developers, and failure to pay their bonds, but none of the banks seem to be overly concerned about it according to MSM. - Speaking of MSM how many times have we seen articles that are the complete opposite of reality? - There's the shitty jobs report, and inflation report, but the market miraculously keeps going up, but our price is stagnant or dropping. - There's the darkpool abuse of price suppression. - These agencies are "self regulating" with no legal ramifications or consequences. - There's the bragging by the SEC of record level payouts to whistleblowers, but as history has demonstrated the fines are such a joke that they are considered part of the cost of doing business. Hell, they claim to have just paid out something like 450 million to whistleblowers, but won't state what it's for. Given the manipulation of MSM, and bold faced lying can we even believe they actually ever did anything or are they just trying their hand at being a bullshit social media influencer? - There's the S3 reports of MOASS being a sure thing, yet it hasn't happened after months of being at that level. - There's the endless screenshots of Ortex and Bloomberg showing that the whole market is trashed, but nothing has happened. - There's the SEC's own report showing crazy high SI% in January, which also states that the shorts have not covered, but NOBODY, not one single person in the SEC (that we know of) stood up and said "Hold up. How does that make sense? Maybe we should look into that a little more." - There has been speculation that our shares are really just IOU's. - There's the whole PFOF scheme invented by none other than one of the greatest financial con-men to have ever walked the face of the planet. We have now had that scheme picked up by a huge MM and they've run with it, all while their leader has claimed he's just a humble dude looking to help retail (if you think he was actually out to help retail then I have a number of bridges I could sell you). - There's the vote that hit a miracle number of 100%, but we also know those numbers are massaged on purpose because heaven forbid that they get more than 100% and someone has to investigate. And this is just want I can think of sitting here. I'm sure there are many more. Bottom line is that ALL of these agencies, banks, brokers, money makers, and government officials are holding hands while we play the game of Red Rover trying to break their line, but they've handcuffed their wrists together. THE MOASS WILL NOT EVER HAPPEN IF WE RELY UPON THE HONESTY OF THE SYSTEM!! The system has evolved to not work with retail. The system never anticipated the Apes, but even with our arrival they will not just roll over and let things fall as they may. The system is broken for everyone unless you're in the inner circle of global finance. What about the NFT dividend? There is ONE possible catalyst we've all been hoping for. An NFT dividend. BUT WE HAVE ZERO PROOF OF IT!!! Yes, we know GME has been working on an NFT. You will get no argument from me on that. Yet, we do NOT know what the NFT is for!! We've speculated that it COULD be a dividend, BUT it could also be for in game play, it could be for actual games via a Steam like setup, hell, it could even be for Gamestop to become an NFT broker. We. Just. Do. Not. Know. And we won't know for sure until GME announces it. Yeah, I've seen the countdown twitter theory. I REALLY like the theory. Yeah, I've seen all the permutations of trying to figure out the mythical 741 number. Some make sense. Some make me tilt my head and say "what the fuck?" WE CANNOT RELY UPON THE NFT TRIGGERING MOASS!! Because we don't know what the NFT is actually for! What is the one for sure catalyst? We have looked at 14,000,605 timelines, and in just ONE do we win. The ONLY surefire way this works and we trigger MOASS is to take control of our shares. Take them out of the system that only favors the elite. Take away the IOU's. Take away the campaign contributions. Take away the speaking fees. Take away the self regulation. Take away the dark pool price suppression. Take away the manipulated earnings reports. Take away the perfunctory investigations. We MUST direct register the float. THIS is the only way we, as mere mortal Apes, can do this. Transfer your accounts. Transfer your "shares." DRS IS THE ONLY FOR SURE CATALYST THAT WE CAN CONTROL!! As part of full disclosure I'll say it right now. I'm an X holder of GME. It's what I could swing. I thought to myself that I'll just let the bigger money Apes DRS and I'll ride on the outside of their rocket. I AM WRONG! After thinking about all the stuff I posted above I have realized that I cannot cannot CANNOT have that mindset. It's selfish. It's bullshit. It will not help launch any rocket. Apes help Apes, and I was not acting like an Ape with this mindset. So today I'm going to start the process of moving my account to Fidelity, and then from there to Computershare. Even though I'm ONLY holding X doing so will get us X much closer to MOASS, and I know there's many Apes that are just like me. TL; DR DRS is the ONLY for sure way we can trigger MOASS without relying upon anyone else. It's the one and only thing we can directly control that cannot be influenced by market manipulation. Period. *I am not a financial advisor. This is not financial advise. I'm an Ape who likes the stock. ** Someone should screen shot and repost this for Karma. submitted by /u/cmbhere to r/Superstonk [link] [comments]

GameStop Trading Frenzy Tested Resilience of Markets, SEC Says - Agency report finds buying by hundreds of thousands of investors fueled GameStop rally, dismisses alternative theories
https://www.wsj.com/articles/gamestop-trading-frenzy-tested-resilience-of-markets-sec-says-11634589000 WASHINGTON—A trading frenzy in shares of GameStop Corp. [US:GME] shares earlier this year raised a number of questions for regulators but didn’t expose major weaknesses in stock-market infrastructure, the Securities and Exchange Commission said Monday. A highly anticipated SEC report attributed the episode primarily to a rapid increase in trading by individual investors, many of whom used social-media platforms like Reddit to swap ideas and strategies. The agency poured cold water on a number of alternative hypotheses for why the struggling videogame retailer’s share price soared from less than $20 at the end of 2020 to an intraday high of $483 on Jan. 28. The SEC also found no evidence to support theories that gained traction on social media around brokerage Robinhood Markets Inc.’s [US:HOOD] decision to restrict trading in GameStop and other so-called meme stocks that day. The SEC said shortening the amount of time it takes for brokers to clear equity trades from the current period of two days could make the market less risky during times of heightened volatility. It also said more reporting of short sales—a method of betting a stock’s price will decline—could help regulators monitor markets. submitted by /u/TotesHittingOnY0u to r/investing [link] [comments]
