After knee surgery I had a long recovery period in which my knee was stiff and slow. Out of an abundance of caution I stopped driving during during times or on roads that have heavy traffic because if I had to slam on the brakes becayse somebody made an illegal lane change, bad merge, darting out of a lot or side street... I worried that my knee would just be too slow to stop in time. Overly cautious but I'd rather drive only when sudden movement and pressure on my knee could hurt and damage things within the squishy bits. So on bsd days I take the regional shuttle service. Part of the public bus it offers door to door and seats 10 passengers or 6 + 2 wheelchairs. Out where I live usually about 4. While I am on the bus I put on my headphones and focus on work: emails, teams, maybe a work call, the point is I need to focus and concentrate. Head down, I don't even pay attention to others getting on and off. One woman, probably late 60s or early 70s demands that everybody acknowledges her. I usually sit in the back (quieter, less chit chat) but if I don't acknowledge her ahe will come to the back and wave her hand between my face and whatever I'm working on (video call, troubleshooting a script, writing an email or report) to force me to look up and will not leave until I say hello. She isnt special needs, she has at least a part time job in retirement working in a restaurant, she just expects me to drop whatever I'm doing no matter what it us and say hello, ignoring the obvious universal do not disturb sign of the over the ear headphones (impossible to miss) , and will walk past the open door to wave her hand in my face, not caring if I am talking with somebody or not. I have been in a teams call and ahe just stood there saying hello until I put the other person on mute to say it back. As someone who actually plays Twister builds since 0.2 and always level at least one twister character per league (this league I leveled two actually), Twister is fun, feels good and it's kinda strong. That being said, I've decided to make some tests as twister leaguestart and I really don't know where all the "twister must be nerfed" discourse is coming from. Let's talk pros and cons Pros: It comes online really early, you only need two level 1 gems and everything else is just extra, builds like this feels really good to play Mapping is really smooth, you'll never have any problems just smashing through trash mobs Twisters can shotgun and melt bosses if properly positioned Works with almost any class and ascendancy Cons: Extremely gear dependant after act 4 Bossing after interludes suck ASS if you can't properly position the boss to get shotgunned by all twisters Very squishy at low attack speed (you'll get lots of hits trying to set up 3 whirling slashes) You can't reliably get elemental ground without uniques or lots of setups That does not make the build OP, it makes the build viable, but I still want to address some arguments made by the community about this build "It trivializes the campaign!" First of all, there are LOTS of builds that will trivialize the campaign, even on leaguestart, you probably just saw GuyThatDies beating his WR on twister and made the assumption that the build was busted for campaign, but if you actually saw the video you'd seen that his run was basically perfect RNG wise. If you want to trivialize the campaign, you will find lots of builds for that. "It comes online too easily!" So? There are builds and builds, some will come online at level 1 and work for the entire campaign and some will come online at interludes and you'll only experience them on maps. "Look at Prada's Abyssal Lich, it's way too op!" I saw this one yesterday and I was baffled. This is an uber endgame build that costs thousands of divines to even come online and most definitely should feel powerful for the sheer amount of time and dedication you have to put on it. What about after the campaign? This is where this build really starts to fall off and you need some good gear to get it going. Starting on interludes, bosses and trash mobs get more tanky, and this translates to maps as well, and I'm 100% sure of what I'm talking, start a twister build right now on SSF and compare your clear speed in acts 1-3 and then in acts 4-maps, it's day and night without proper gear. As the title states, this was my first season in which I focused on tanking. I came late into the season and read about the tank shortage and dps queues. Decided to roll tank and give it my best shot with the glowies. When I came back, the glowies were still limited to +5, but the following week they uncapped it. I almost exclusively used glowies as a guidance and played based on intuitive feel and party member feedback. Overtime there are pretty clear patterns in how Blizzard designs a dungeon to be pulled. I also have an addon that I would refer to sometimes (MDTHelper) which shows your MDT route on a minimap. I also made my push prior to hitting 280ilvl. I mostly ran my own keys and would just downgrade them to farm crests to raise ilvl. Majority of my climb and learning was when I was in the 260s and spamming 10s. Once I felt like I got the routes down then I just did a world tour and did all 12s in the high 260s and finished in the 270s. After this week I was able to jump to 280 as of just today. A lot of people complain about the squishiness of Pala. I personally only felt it when I ran in without defensives, ran in with my back to everything, ran in to too big of a pack, ignored pack mechanics, or my healer was afk. Other than that as long as I was aware of mechanics, I never would get one shot or be in a sketchy BDK situation. Majority of the times I am panicking over my party member's health and trying to hit them with BoS or Lay on Hands. I would typically run into packs with a defensive CD up, then I have a macro for wings/sentinel + combat potion + divine toll. And then I just hold X which is my keybind for the one button assist. I only really have to press defensives and utilities following this method. I think my best dungeon is probably WS due to me spamming it for Hero Track Heart of Wind. In the first room, my burst w/ lust usually peaks in the mid 400s. Extremely enjoyable and I will see how far I can continue to push it only following the glowies. Edit: There seems to be some curiosity behind why I actually use one button. I have carpal tunnel and I try my best not to aggravate it too much through gaming. Prot Pal always felt like I had to constantly be smashing buttons to min max dps, and I frankly just don't care that much since I'm a casual. Half the time I out dps geared DPS classes, perhaps not in single target on bosses, but in giant packs I absolutely smash and it feels AMAZING seeing the dps meter skyrocket your name to the top temporarily. Thankfully my livelihood is not dependent on my usage of a one button assistance in a video game, I'm not sponsored, I'm not a pro, I'm not a streamer. I’ve been wanting to invest in a basic, good quality leather handbag without spending a fortune, so when I stumbled upon PLG I was thrilled to see most of the items were within my price range. Immediately fell in love with the Coldbrew Aspen shoulder bag, but decided to do my research first. I watched tons of unboxing videos, looked at reviews and photos, and scoured Reddit. Was totally fine with having an “entry level” bag as long as it was made with the beautiful puddly, rich dark brown leather I’d been seeing. Finally pulled the trigger and was SO excited for her to be delivered. Ya’ll, there is no way on God’s green earth this is the same bag I’ve been seeing in pictures and videos. There was zero leather smell when I opened the box. When I say the bag smells like the cheap knockoff purses I used to order on eBay when I was 16, I mean that. I was excited to feel the squishy/puddly leather, however this “leather” is incredibly stiff and dry with ZERO slouch. There’s also some type of weird waxy/chalky coating on it so it feels rough to the touch. The inside of the bag that’s supposed to be suede feels like a weird mixture of cork and felt? Again it’s incredibly stiff and rough to the touch. The “unfinished edges” on the shoulder strap literally feel like cork. You can see in the photo how dry and crumbly it looks. Touching and using this bag is a genuinely unpleasant experience. It’s stiff and uncomfortable with rough/hard edges everywhere. I am not a luxury bag collector with super high standards, just a girl on a single income hoping for an affordable leather bag. I really wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt but it’s so bad 😭 I‘m having major regrets for not reviewing their return policy before ordering and cannot believe I have to pay $15 to return this. I've figured out how to create my own models with BlockBench, how to insert them into Minecraft with Figura, and how to properly animate them with scripts. I'd love to create more but I don't really have any more characters. So I decided to ask here. You get a 100% free model with a few extras, I get to practice! - To use these models in game, you need to install Figura and Figura v5 Support. It's a mod for the versions 1.16.5 to 1.21.1 and available for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, and Quilt. I can't help much with installing mods, but I can possibly recommend tutorials. Bedrock isn't supported, as far as I know. - You need a licensed Minecraft account. Figura uses your UUID to link an avatar to you, and Cracked Minecraft accounts don't have a proper one. You could still use the model locally, but only you'd be able to see it since you wouldn't be able to upload it to Figura's cloud. - I need a proper reference. AI doesn't count, and simple text descriptions aren't enough either. Full-body-refs would be optimal, but I can probably also work with only a headshot + description. - I can't estimate how long this will take. Might be 10 hours, might be 50 hours. My fursona is the only character I've done this with and I'm currently at about 12 hours of work spread out over two days. So the time depends on complexity of the model, my own motivation, and luck i guess? - Your model will come with Tail and Ear Physics, a random blinking animation, and 3 additional animations. You can choose whatever you want for those animations, I'll tell you if it's out of my technical abilities. I went with emotions for my fursona, but I'm pretty sure it can be anything. - Be warned, I have no clue how to script, so everything is based on YouTube tutorials, hopes, and prayers. Everything's probably unoptimized, clunky, and will possibly break, and I cant do anything about it. I don't know what to do about it. - Armor and Tail often clip the model as seen in the video and I have no clue how to fix it. Sorry. - I'm using Squishy API for the physics and for the random animations. You don't have to install anything for that, the modules and script will be included with the finished file I'll send you. So this is my first play through of BG3. Its been an absolute blast so far. I learned of the companions before I started playing via friends that were like "oh be sure to grab so and so if you get the chance." I never knew where Gale was and as I progressed my friends were a little disappointed I missed him. Thought I missed the opportunity entirely tbh. So my journey continues, snagging Shadowheart, Astarion, Wyll, Laezel, and Karlach in that order. I also have Halsin, Volo, Barcus, Withers, Scratch, and the owl bear cub in camp. I was just gearing up to go through the mountain pass (after the githyanki debacle) when I decided to go pick mushrooms for health potions. I go back to the Mind Flayer wreck for mergrass and see the unstable waypoint is still unstable. When I started the game I was too nervous to touch it bc I was pretty squishy and didn't trust it... I'm level 7 and significantly less squishy so I finally gave in. Imagine my surprise when an arm pops out. One strength check later Gale is standing in front of me. He joins up, eats two magic items, and levels up 6 times. Now I'm left wondering if I have absolutely ruined my chances of progressing his story line since I'm way later in game than I was supposed to be when I met him. How many more items is he going to eat? Can I stop this? Does he spontaneously combust or do I atleast get a count down to detonation? Im pretty sure Im still in act one but Ive completed (or progressed past) so many things that I'm scared would be prevalent. At this rate, idc if there's spoilers, I just want Magic Snack Man to stop eating loot. Edit: Thank you all for your comments! It really helped ease my fears about him inhaling all the magic items Kirby style. I would also like to add: Someone explained more about the acts and such to me, so I'm actually in the 1.5 area, not straight up act 1. The githyanki creche boosted me to level 7. I'm freshly leveled because I cleaned house on that. I also scurry around every nook and cranny of big games like this, partly thanks to curiosity and partly because of friends who have played before nudging me to explore certain things. I've gotten lucky with rolls for the most part as well. Games like Red Dead 2 taught me that anything can be anywhere. As for Barcus. I managed to convince him to hang out in camp after the Nere quest. Idk how I managed it besides telling him that he needs to rest and that going off on his own probably isn't the best idea. And yes, I absolutely avoided the portal in the beginning because the game even said it looks dangerous. As a tabletop player who played under a killer DM, I was not going to touch the swirling angry magic hole. I realize now that this video game isn't out to be vindictive and off me because it can, and save scumming has also helped immensely. This is my first play through, but it certainly won't be my last. The amount of content they put into this game astounds me, and I'm not sure if I'll ever find everything even after playing it through a dozen times. One time when I found him snooping in my room I told my brother to control his damm kid, then got one of those cheap spy cams in my room just incase. He says he left it by the tv in the guest room but it’s not there. They looked through all their stuff and his too. They’re having to stay at a cheap motel but my brother won’t stop begging to come back because what they’re paying right now each night is coming directly out of their savings. Idk why he does this but there’s definitely been times he’s strategically hidden things he stole OOP was voted NTA ​ UPDATE POST (April 19th, 2022 - 9 days later) My OG Post So many of you have asked nonstop for an update, sorry it took me a while to log back on but lots of stuff have been going on. Yes I found the ring!! It was a stressful day doing a deeper search in my house trying to think like my nephew and looking in places where I think he’d hide something if he really didn’t want it to be found. And the decision was if it really wasn’t found and my brother wasn’t able to get him to talk, or they wouldn’t be able to pay back what I’m owed then the police would get involved. He did beg me not to but I told him then you better pray I find it or you come up with the money to pay me for it. Guess both our prayers worked because guess where I found it? In the freaking sink. The SINK. And that’s thanks to the comments who told me to look in those places. Idk what I would’ve done otherwise. It was the sink that was in their guest room, I’m glad he didn’t just throw it away. You guys don’t know how freaking relieved I was to find it. Took some work to remove the p trap under the sink to get it out but I was just so happy to find it!! Same night my girlfriend (fiancée 😉) got back I proposed to her and she said yes!! After a nice romantic dinner just the two of us at home… The plan was to wait but after all this shit I thought fuck it I’m proposing ASAP before anything else happens 😅🤣 After my brother heard about me finding the ring he thought this meant they could come back. I said no. He wanted to argue about this again. All I told him was he’s lucky I haven’t gone to the cops since there was already video evidence of his son taking the ring and there’s no way I’m letting them back in when my nephew wouldn’t even say what he did with the ring. I talked with my nephew myself after I found the ring but he just said he didn’t want to tell anyone because then I’d be mad at him for hiding it. Honestly I just don’t have the energy for them anymore, his problem is their problem and hopefully they get him help before it’s too late. They're not happy that flankers can run away instead of dying. Baptiste - Theirs like 3 of them, but they seem happy Brigitte - They think she's useless now. Some people pointed out that the sub thinks this every season and it's never true. They want a shield buff. I think they're more concerned about the Battle pass skins though Illari - They're pissed off, and rightfully so cause she 100% needs a buff, but as a Ashe/Tracer main, they can hold I'm afraid. Kiriko - They didn't choose the DPS lifestyle, the DPS lifestyle chose them. Lifeweaver - They're struggling. As expected with the healbotter character. I do think a buff to his heals is probably due otherwise he's just a cosmetic. A fine ass cosmetic, but a cosmetic Lucio - Oh these dudes are thriving fair enough Mercy - They're not happy. They feel they need to healbot more or that they're not really impacting the game as much. Most think Mercy is a useless throw pick and they'd be better off picking something else. Some are pretty happy though and the big ass Knoife hitbox is welcome Orisa - Oh this sub is dead dead Ramattra - Some people feel too squishy, some people enjoy the adaptation.
