9’ stock tank question
Hey anyone with a 9’ stock tank! We are very close to pulling the trigger on buying this size and bringing it home. We love that many of the 9 footers typically are a bit deeper as well, specifically this one. The only thing I’m a bit hesitant about is that this isn’t a super popular size, and I’m having trouble finding a cover that would fit it perfectly. I’m also a bit worried about driving it home, as 9’ across is pretty wide in a lane. The 8’ seems like a safer bet for these reasons, but my husband really wants to go big here! Has anyone found the perfect not crazy expensive cover for this size? I would prefer one that had extra safety measures too like the clips on the sides, not just one that drapes over the top or has a draw string. If a good 9’ cover doesn’t exist, would it make more sense to get an 8’ cover and have the top edge not fit snug and be “too small”, or get a 10’ and have that seam be “too big” around it? If anyone has any insight, positive stories, good advice, etc about this size (and maybe even this exact pool!) I would be most appreciative. submitted by /u/Virtual_Library_3443 to r/Stocktankpools [link] [comments]

GMERICA (eBay Acquisition) doesn't require dilution and is accretive to both GME and EBAY holders... and if you're paying attention, you already know that.
Hi everyone, bob here. Monday was a bloodbath eh? 10% dip was intense!.... https://preview.redd.it/22r6qamq7qzg1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=503d0348ea9ac8d6044fc5ee551eaec083f0b764 No the fuck it wasn't. it was just a fucking blip. I was there in 2021 when they dropped the stock over 50% in less than 30 fucking minutes. Apes didn't flinch then, why the actual fuck would we give a shit about a 10% drop now? Especially with the turnaround and eBay play in full force? RC went live on CNBC the other day and clowned those absolute mouth breathers and for good reason. They wanted to generate "Ryan Cohen Dilutes The Stock" headlines for their short hedge fund puppetmasters. It didn't work and his "disastrous interview" was actually a masterful first step in his rollout of what's about to come. The subsequent interviews with Charles Payne and TBPN were very insightful if you were actively listening with a wrinkle or two, which I know are hard enough to come by, even before AI made everyone hop on the short bus - if just to be lazy.......... And it seems a good portion of folks here are still fucking following the bullshit narrative those cucks at CNBC have been pushing... about dilution. It's just wrong. It's even so wrong that its not even possible (to issue over a billion shares like CNBC would have you believe) without a shareholder vote to increase the issuable shares. So let me break it down for you as simple as I know how: GME wins in this acquisition, and EBAY does too. The Merger Maff: A Win-Win (Unless You're Short) GME pays eBay $28 billion in cash to buy out half of their stock and takes the remainder, combines it with GameStop stock holders to form a new entity: GMEBAY? GMERICA? Who the fuck knows? Maybe those grifters at the BBBYQ table are right on the name (TEDDY)... but I'm not going there. Back on topic. So the split would go like this: GameStop (GME) gets 40% of the new entity. eBay holders get 60% of the new entity. For the eBay crowd, this is a "Cash and Carry" grand slam. They get $62.50 in immediate cash per share (half of the $125 bid). Then they roll the other half into that 60% ownership stake of a company that isn't run by overpaid "professionals" on a permanent vacation. Quick Math: assume 1% ownership stake in eBay at 103, worth 457M (4,444,444 shares). applying the deal you get a total value of (2,222,222*125)+(60B*(.01*.6))... translating to 537M at 15x and 637M at 20x multiples on the new entity (assuming 2.58 eps) For GameStop, look at the maffs: GameStop (roughly $10B market cap) and eBay ($50B market cap) combine into a $60B conglomerate. If you have 1,000 shares today, you own a tiny slice of a $10B company. After the merger, you still have 1,000 shares, but they represent a 40% stake in a $50B monster. That means your shares effectively represent ownership in $24B of value ($50B * 40%). You just doubled your notional stake without spending another dime. Edit: For the anal retentive people in the chat wanting to point out the debt structure has a play in the market cap and other details of the original numbers/writeup such as share counts, income source differences, and such.... affecting the outcomes to ebay ang gme holders, You are right, it is more complicated and you could be more precise, but I was trying to keep things simple for learning purposes here, as this is all obviously an example of the deal structure Ryan laid out in his interviews, and likely doesn't represent the exact numbers. But for those who like (to be) anal: here you go... still proof of concept. Market Caps: take GME, 11b market cap, + eBay 47B... you get 58B. The debt 2.58 outcome already considered this, but let me lay it out for you: Debt Load Servicing: (20B(6.5%) + 7B(5%) + 4B(0%)) to get roughly 1.69b yearly service. which reduces revenue before dividing by share count (which is a product of GME shares / .4 in this example...) gets you to about 2.58/share Then we multiply... landing you around a net enterprise market cap estimate of 40B if you account for all the debt load servicing (which I did omit the eBay 7B in the post)... updating that data, we get: eBay 1% stake = 457M before. and after: = (2222222*125)+(40B*.006) = 517M. lighter gains, but still accretive. https://preview.redd.it/dj4626mv7qzg1.png?width=1067&format=png&auto=webp&s=c03dcbe21d8831771a87b49476ce45ed34271414 To get the actual EPS for the new entity, you have to account for the $20 billion in debt used to buy out half the eBay shareholders and the presumption that we’re splitting the final pie 60/40. The Combined Earnings Pool: eBay's Optimized Profit: ~$3.54B (The $1.89B legacy + $1.65B synergies). GameStop's Profit: ~$0.418B. Debt Servicing: Cohen is taking a $20B loan... assuming ~6.5% interest. Even after tax benefits, that eats about $1.07B of the profit pool every year. Net GMERICA Income: $3.54B + $0.418B – $1.07B = ~$2.89 Billion in total profit. The New Share Count (The 60/40 Split): Remember, we aren't just buying them; we are merging them into a new entity where GME holders own 40%. To make GME's 448M shares represent exactly 40%, the new company must have 1.12 Billion shares total. GMERICA EPS: $2.89 Billion Profit / 1.12 Billion Shares = $2.58. Once RC starts the fat trimming by targeting $2.0 billion in cost cuts by treating eBay like a "family business" and killing their bloated marketing spend we are looking at a combined EPS of about $2.58. Apply a standard 15.2x multiple (like Berkshire) and your settled price target is $39.26. The eBay Board The eBay board is so goddamn desperate they’re actually trying to dig up "dirt" on RC for hiring a personal assistant through GameStop. RC literally laughed it off on TBPN because he pays for that assistant out of his own pocket. Imagine being a board member getting paid $350,000 to $450,000 a year in fees while buying zero shares of your own company, and then trying to lecture a guy who takes a zero-dollar salary. https://preview.redd.it/dxhe7key7qzg1.png?width=508&format=png&auto=webp&s=b5375fa95a367f48536aa7aa79a092b531cb34a8 They just permanently suspended his account (ryan_5050) because he was "putting the community at risk". The only people are risk is the current management and bloat in eBay if RC gets the deal through. Further, if they fight a deal that gives their shareholders a roughly 46% premium, they are breaching their fiduciary duty. The Technical Execution Check the Form 425 GameStop just filed. RC has already built economic exposure to 23,176,000 eBay shares via put/call pairs. Once he hits the HSR Act Condition, he can settle those in physical shares. This is a voting block ready to facilitate a hostile takeover. He’s walking in with a $20 billion "highly committed" letter from TD and $9 billion in cash. Because GME doesn't have the authorized share headroom to just print its way to a merger, the only move is a Holding Company (GMERICA). A new entity means a new CUSIP. That's a forced reconciliation of every share. Legacy shorts who have been hiding naked FTDs in the obligation warehouse are fucked if this goes through. When the CUSIP changes, the DTCC runs RECAPS, which re-prices every failed obligation to the new market value and forces a mapping of real shares to new shares during the rollout. They don't get to hide the ball anymore; they get an immediate bill for the price difference. DIY above ground tank pool QLD
My partner really wants a pool similar to the terratanks in our backyard. Smaller, cheaper body, placed above ground and comes with everything set up for installation - just for floating in really. Main concerns seem to me is figuring out if we need to cement the ground it sits on, if we need to get council approval, and if we need to have any professionals come in or if it can be a complete diy job. A lot of the resources we’ve found to answer these questions just try to redirect us to people who’d do it for us, but we’d love to do it ourselves. This seems like the best group but if not, or if there’s a better one, would love a redirect :) Thanks! submitted by /u/BackgroundClassic795 to r/AusRenovation [link] [comments]

Warrants, Bonds, and the Tail Wagging the Dog
Hi everyone, bob here… I've been having a lot of fun with making meme videos recently, so I thought I'd put what I learned there to work for the benefit of anyone trying to wrinkle up that wants to just listen. I created a video of this DD on my new youtube channel (@bobsmith42069) in case its easier for you to digest there. please let me know your thoughts if you decide to check it out. If its useful to the community, I'll slowly make some higher quality videos for my other DD and learning resources. You can watch this DD here: https://youtu.be/JwLo6ODDwU4 Alright, here’s the deal. You’ve got the convertible bond arbitrage players… you know, the ones who short the stock through the bonds. Those bonds come with embedded calls, and their delta-neutral game means they’re very, very, very short the underlying. I watched it myself: high-frequency algos literally fighting each other at $21.54 when the second bond offering hit. One new player entered, and suddenly you had both camps running the same play… long the bonds, short the stock. That created a massive synthetic short interest on GME. That matters because: It limits supply of shortable shares. It drives up short interest rates. It creates liquidity issues in the lending pools. Now layer on top of that the legacy shorts still rolling swaps from 2021. Put it all together and you’ve got a recipe for a violent covering event. When it breaks, it’s going to break fast. https://preview.redd.it/emgqsmycxqpf1.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e6f67c800ff42a964f3dbb996d3d90840d6298e Fundamentals Changed the Game Back in 2019 and 2020,, GME was a dead man walking. No cash, no runway, no future. Then destiny happened, the cat happened, the ATMs happened…dilution happened (the good kind). And suddenly? GME is no longer at risk of bankruptcy, generating massive cash. They wiped out all debt, flipped the script, and now they’re sitting on a mountain of liquidity. We’re talking: ~$10 billion in cash Over $500 million in Bitcoin Profitable business (.25 EPS GAAP, .38 EPS core) Stores/regions divested, unprofitable ops cut, management delivering exactly what they said they would https://preview.redd.it/7gx925ofxqpf1.png?width=879&format=png&auto=webp&s=c9e468b894df0c4c1c2e35ce37ddd2f9c2746fdc Trajectory = $500 million a year profit within reach. Outstanding shares: 447 million. Fully diluted with bonds + warrants? ~590 million. Even then, EPS ramps higher as profitability grows. Institutions see it too… billions in “free” 0% bonds is not a coincidence. That’s confidence. Enter the Warrants Record date: October 3rd. For every 10 shares, you get 1 warrant. Strike $32. Expires October 2026. Up to 59 million warrants issued. Sounds simple, right? …right? Not so much. https://preview.redd.it/rt700dbhxqpf1.png?width=881&format=png&auto=webp&s=935792cd2399a790bf59f673d50605d947a0a673 Every short borrower now owes a warrant. And if you’ve been around here as long as I have, you know damn well there are more borrowed shares (and “synthetic” shares) floating around than GME is ever going to issue warrants for. GameStop is only handing out 59 million because that’s how many should exist. But we know better. So what happens? For true holders like you, me, and institutions, we get our warrants (or get shafted by shady brokers who “pay cash value” 👀 looking at you, robbinghood). Shorts and arbs? They get obligations. They’ve got to deliver something they don’t have, which means scrambling in the open market. Liquidity crunch incoming. And yes, that includes the bond arbitrage players. Because the company explicitly said bondholders get warrants too: 2030 Notes ($1.48B outstanding): ~4.95M warrants. 2032 Notes ($2.68B outstanding): ~9.27M warrants. That’s ~14.2M warrants handed straight to bondholders … about 25% of the total available warrants in existence! On paper, that “supplies” them. But here’s the kicker: these guys are the arbs. They’re already running delta-neutral hedges. Now they suddenly hold 14M new long-delta instruments. To stay neutral they’ve got to short more stock, and have to short more stock into this runup we are in to boot! So you get a two-layer squeeze effect: Bondholders receive warrants → gain long delta → must short more GME while… Non-bond shorts, derivative shorts, and borrowers still owe warrants, forcing them to buy them in the open market to settle their obligations The end result is bond holders ratchet up the short pressure on the equity side, while everyone else fights over a capped warrant pool… Scarcity amplified. https://preview.redd.it/qtyitzkixqpf1.jpg?width=562&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e00f73d7ee942d8d58ccb288e3b9ded21824256a And remember: that imbalance only gets worse as the stock runs higher before issuance, because hedgers will be dumping more and more shares into strength just to keep their books balanced, resulting in more and more obligations to deliver on later… Delta-Neutral, My Ass Bond arbs want to stay delta-neutral. But warrants = extra long delta. To stay neutral, they’ve got to subtract delta. How? Sell shares… the same way they’ve always done it. We saw it at the first bond issuance when they shorted the everloving fuck out of the stock, and we saw it again at the second offering... One camp shorting shares to hedge, the other forced to buy back to rebalance. The net effect was amazing to see… Extremely “legal” downward pressure on the stock followed by whale teeth when the two of them hit equilibrium (pro tip: the secret sauce is there to understand their exact position and hedging requirements)... Remember 21.54? https://preview.redd.it/0i4szinjxqpf1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cd07a65e5424b8d950a0ae433b880567e59459ce But buy now, (see what i did there?) they’ve already eaten a metric fuckton of shorts into the book. Warrants add more pressure. To stay neutral, they short harder. But shares are finite. Lending pools are stretched. And when you need something that’s scarce, the price doesn’t stay flat forever. Demand Supplies Scarcity This isn’t about “locking the float” or jerking it to the DRS number. This is about the shorts’ ability to maintain their positions… to stay alive one more day. Shares to short are finite. Borrow cost spikes when supply dries up. When you can’t source shares, you cover. And when you cover, you buy back into strength. This is the squeeze setup, plain and simple. Why Warrants Are the Linchpin When warrants hit: Shorts who borrowed shares must deliver warrants. Bond arbs who shorted must deliver warrants. Everyone’s fighting over 59 million instruments in a world where demand is multiples of that. Market makers are short gamma on the warrants from day one. That means they buy into strength and sell into weakness. Add in bond arbs shorting to stay neutral, and you’ve got a feedback loop of volatility. This isn’t theory, it’s structural. The Game Remember when Ryan Cohen shifted his shares into a marginable, lendable account? 👀 Most people saw that as random or even bearish. But think about it through this lens: Cohen knows borrowed shares carry obligations. He knows that when the warrant dividend hits, brokers have to deliver to true shareholders of record. If his shares are marginable and lendable, they can be borrowed against and whoever borrows them now owes him warrants too*.* Ryan Cohen is playing chess while the dumb stormtroopers of the market (shorts) are playing checkers, and suddenly their borrow is tied to obligations they physically can’t dodge. If Cohen’s shares are used in lending pools, he essentially becomes the counterparty forcing shorts to cough up more obligations down the line. It’s not just about him being “shareholder friendly.” It’s about weaponizing structure. He’s turning their own hedging mechanics against them. My Plan As for me, I’m buying the warrants at the ask on launch day. Why? https://preview.redd.it/wrmeu8vkxqpf1.png?width=1071&format=png&auto=webp&s=e7a54e77d14a804e3d63dd5ebbe51b979994b640 Warrants are cheap synthetic leverage. If I buy 100 warrants, I’m pressuring shorts as if I’d bought 1,000 shares. And warrants are going to be dirt cheap at issuance… probably under $5… at $5 per warrant, that’s like applying 52 times leverage against these fuckwads. And leveraged retail is unstoppable. I won’t be exercising them when we blow through $32. Nope. I’ll be sitting, watching that shit grow while shorts scramble to deliver. Time is on my side, not theirs. The Tail Wags the Dog As shorts scramble to cover warrants, their margin blows up. They’re forced buyers in both GMEWS and GME. Warrants squeeze, stock squeezes. Stock squeezes, warrants squeeze harder. It’s a self-reinforcing loop. This is just a story of different players with the same problem: legacy shorts, bond arbs, and market makers all run into scarcity at once. And as someone very wise said: all shorts are eventually buyers. Conclusion Ok, now is not the time for FOMO. Let’s not get too excited… This isn’t “next month we’re all rich.” These leeches will fight, they will stall, they will rehypothecate and kick the can as long as they can. But they can’t cheat scarcity forever. Time has been coiling this spring for months. The chart shows it. The options chain is primed. And now the warrants layer structural pressure on top of an already stressed borrow pool. I quadrupled my position in leaps this week, added more shares to my ever-growing stack, and I’m lining up to grab warrants at launch. Not financial advice… just sharing what this ape is doing because I believe this is the play and I would not want to be short GameStop right now. https://preview.redd.it/165f85tnxqpf1.png?width=1824&format=png&auto=webp&s=9af1a99907a1f19c71b2d912fc7a1e4a77394f09 They thought they could control the dog.... Turns out the tail’s about to beat the shit out of them. Let’s fucking go. Disclaimer: Not financial advice. Thinking about a pool for a small Perth backyard. Any advice on plunge or stock tank pools?
Hey all, just wondering if anyone here has experience putting a small pool (like a plunge pool or even one of those galvanized stock tank pools) into a typical Perth backyard. We’ve got kids who are getting a bit older and, to be honest, our yard isn’t huge. I’d love for us to have a way to cool off in summer, but I don’t want to lose all our green space or end up with a massive maintenance headache. I’ve talked to a couple of the big pool places and the costs (and all the stuff around council approvals and fencing) seem a bit full on. I keep seeing these smaller stock tank pool setups online and it sounds almost too easy compared to what the traditional pool companies are offering (WAY cheaper too). If anyone’s actually done this in Perth (or even considered it), would love to hear: Was it worth it in the end, or did it just end up taking over the yard? Any surprises with council or compliance stuff? Did you go DIY or get a local company to sort it out? Anything you wish you’d known before starting? Or tips for keeping the install/ongoing costs under control? And if you’ve used any companies that handled everything locally, I’d appreciate any recommendations. So far, I've come across village plunge pools and west coast plunge pools for plunge pools and terra tanks for stock tank pools. Any others? Also curious if these smaller setups get much use outside summer. Did you regret it, or would you do it again? Cheers in advance! Happy to share what I’ve found so far too if anyone else is looking at the same thing. submitted by /u/EntireDaikon4956 to r/perth [link] [comments]

the results are in for... LVP. LEAST Valuable Player.
While the media may focus on the MVP award and other prestigious honors, reddit has the distinct honor of awarding the LVP trophy. The LEAST Valuable Player. It's a tradition that dates back to 2017, with Monta Ellis winning the trophy in what would be his last year in the league. Other winners include: Jamal Crawford in 2018, Solomon Hill in 2019, Isaiah Thomas in 2020, Aron Baynes in 2021, Facu Campazzo in 2022, Will Barton in 2023, and Jordan Poole last season. Notably, most of those players won the LVP and never saw meaningful minutes again. That said, Poole had a nice little season after his LVP so maybe that tide is turning on the trophy after all. Who will join our illustrious list? Before we get to that, let's remember the criteria and caveats: --- Obviously, the worst players in the league are the ones who sit at the end of the bench and don't get any playing time. However, this award focuses on players who log a decent amount of minutes and consequently affected their team's play the most. Simply put: the more you play, the more damage you can do. --- And that actual "damage" is important. If you're on a tanking team, no one cares about your poor play; it may even be a positive. We also tend to ignore young players (under 22) who are still developing and can't be expected to be solid players yet. --- Similarly, we don't want to judge players within the context of their salary any more than the actual MVP does. We also don't weigh in injuries. If you want to factor in salary and injuries into your LVP ballots, there are no shortage of big name candidates to choose from this season. However, at the LVP offices, we focus on players' on-court performance instead. --- We also wanted to note that this yearly column can come across as a little mean spirited, which is not our intention. Even the worst player in the NBA is in the top 99% percentile at their sport and making more money than most of us could dream about. And to be fair, even the worst player in the league probably costs his team only a couple of games. Hardly anyone has a VORP ("value over replacement player") worse than -2, so they shouldn't be the scapegoat for an entire organization. In many cases, they're simply played too much or played in the wrong role. But when the stakes are this high, it's fair to criticize players or their teams for that negative impact. LEAST valuable player ballot (5) SG Kevin Huerter, Sacramento/Chicago: 24.3 minutes per game, - 2.0 box plus/minus Kevin Huerter has the nickname "Red Velvet," which is fitting in two ways. It obviously describes the ginger's appearance, but it also coincides with his own career arc. Gourmet cupcakes have been on the decline lately, and Huerter's stock has waned along with them. He peaked in 2023-24 in his first year with Sacramento. He started 75/75 games, averaging 15.2 points and hitting 40.2% from deep. He appeared to be exactly what you'd want in a 5th starter. But since then, Huerter experienced a strangely abrupt drop-off (given his age, only 26). He hit a low water mark this year with Sactown, averaging just 7.9 points and hitting just 30.2% from three prior to a trade to Chicago. He's played better for the Bulls and helped them secure their annual goal of a play-in spot, but his stint with the Kings earns him a mention on this list. Because of those first few months, Huerter grades highly in terms of negative "impact" on the season. After Sacramento's slow start (stumbling out of the gates at 13-19), there was a sea change that swallowed up Coach Mike Brown and ended the De'Aaron Fox era. Huerter couldn't have prevented all that by himself, but his struggles didn't help. (4) PF Kyle Kuzma, Washington/Milwaukee: 29.8 minutes per game, - 4.9 BPM There's perhaps no bigger discrepancy between the "eye test" and the stats than in the case of Kyle Kuzma. When you see a 6'9" forward who can score (17.0 PPG in his career) and play some defense, you tend to think he's valuable. The advanced stats suggest he's been anything but that. His atrocious -5.3 box plus minus in Washington (which indicates a negative 5 point impact per 100 possessions) may have been excusable on a terrible team, but he's carried nearly that exact same mark over (- 4.7) to Milwaukee since his midseason trade. Based on most advanced stats formulas, he's been among the worst veterans in the NBA. So how can we explain it? It may be a matter of "fit." Kuzma's always been best as a scoring 4 man closer to the basket (where he averaged 20+ PPG for Washington from 2022-24). When he has to play alongside bigger bodies and stretch out, his inconsistent shooting catches up with him. Sure enough, he's shot only 28.1% from three in Washington and only 33.3% in Milwaukee. Defensively, he can also struggle against dynamic wings as well, which explains how he's graded as a negative in BPM on defense this season -- and in every season of his 9 year career. That said, it's hard to say Kuzma has been a major negative impact on the season at large. Washington was tanking from the get-go either way, and Milwaukee's record has been about the same with or without him. (3) PF Patrick Williams, Chicago: 25.0 minutes per game, - 3.7 BPM If you want to get drafted in the NBA, you may want to change your surname to Williams. Marvin Williams came off the bench in his only year for UNC (averaging 11.3 PPG), but got the benefit of the doubt and got drafted # 2 overall. Fifteen years later, history repeated itself. Patrick Williams came off the bench in his only year for Florida State (averaging 9.2 PPG), but got the benefit of the doubt and got drafted # 4 overall. The cloning experiment turned out about the same the second time around. Previously, Marvin Williams was only OK -- averaging 10.0 points per game in his career. Marv 2.0 Patrick Williams has been right around the same number, with career averages of 9.2, 9.0, 10.2, 10.0, and now 9.0 this year. The slight downtick is attributed to a decreased efficiency inside. Somehow, despite a 6'7" NBA frame, he's shot only 44.7% this season from two-point range (and only 39.7% from the field overall). As a result, he's logging a career-worst mark in VORP (-0.7) and BPM (-3.7). His defense is fine, but there aren't many starters doing this little on offense. (2) C Jusuf Nurkic, Phoenix/Charlotte: 20.8 minutes per game, - 1.3 BPM Back in 2023, sports pundits had no problem with Phoenix trading 25-year-old Deandre Ayton for a 29-year-old Jusuf Nurkic. Nurkic may have been older, heavier, and less durable, sure, but at least he didn't loaf around like Ayton! Nurkic promptly proved that he could fill Ayton's shoes/loafers after all. The raw numbers in Phoenix this year looked OK -- with averages of 8.6 points, 9.2 rebounds per game -- but also came with a declining ability to score around the basket or protect the rim on defense (0.6 blocks per game). Partly as a result, the Suns ranked in the bottom 10 in rebounding and bottom 5 in defensive rating overall. To make matters worse, he pulled an "Ayton" and didn't get along with his teammates or coaches either. The Suns essentially had to attach assets just to shed him from their books. We don't factor in salary, but that's telling for a team that was (at the time) still trying to make the playoffs. In terms of "impact," Nurkic's disappointing season weighs heavily. The Suns were among the biggest underachievers this year. Phoenix's front office bungled their roster balance in general, but some of that was due to a miscalculation about how much gas the Bosnian Beast had left in the tank. (1) SG Terry Rozier, Miami: 25.9 minutes per game, - 3.7 BPM Although Terry Rozier is only 6'1", he's always been seen as a viable combo guard given his ability to score and defend. The formula worked for the most part in Charlotte, where he started all 298 of his games played. He even averaged an even 20.0 PPG for the Hornets across his stint there. Given that, Charlotte was able to sell Rozier to Miami last season and bill him as a difference maker. It's been a bumpy ride ever since then -- and it's hit a notable dip this year. The Heat already have Tyler Herro as a combo guard scorer -- and he's simply better at it than Rozier is. That leaves Rozier without as much to do, illustrated by his inefficient offense (39.1% from the field, 29.5% from three, 49.7% true shooting). Defensively, his lack of size has led him to negative grades in DBPM and LEBRON as well. It's hard to tell why it's gone so wrong so quickly. A lingering effect of his neck injury? Or something sketchier behind the scenes? Either way, Miami eventually realized that Rozier is best suited to come off the bench at this stage of his career. The stats have confirmed that as well (51.7% TS off the bench, 47.1% TS as a starter). Unfortunately, a lot of the damage had already been done. Given Rozier's heavy workload, he ranks near the bottom of all volume advanced stats this season. The disappointment of Miami's season at large also increases his "impact" rankings on our list. Terry Rozier is still only 31, so we hope he gets his head and neck right for next year. But if he doesn't, then the Heat may have achieved a rare NBA feat -- getting swindled by Charlotte. submitted by /u/ZandrickEllison to r/nba [link] [comments]

Setup a stock tank pool ourselves and tiled the bottom
We want to build a pool, but this is not the year. Regardless, it’s hot as hell here in Arizona. Been wanting to setup a stock tank pool for a while, and finally did. Located an 8 foot wide by 2 foot deep stock tank nearby, rented a truck, and hauled it home ourselves. Wife wanted to tile the bottom with seafoam colored penny tiles. So I had to figure out how to stick ceramic tile to galvanized steel. Saw a recommendation online for Gorilla Glue Construction Adhesive “Ultimate”. The stuff worked wonders, but was super thick and difficult to apply. Put an oversized pump/filter on the pool since I want the water CLEAN, and we get dust storms. Got it all done, and I’m happy with how it turned out. submitted by /u/AnonPondering to r/pools [link] [comments]

YOU'RE WRONG! IF you still think Robinhood was the biggest defaulter on the January 28, 2021 retail stock buying freeze that tanked target stocks artificially (AMC, GME, etc...) The pool is darker than you think. In fact, it was literally a dark pool. Really LOOK at the #1 spot on these tables.

Is a 6’ stock tank pool worth it?
Hey folks, thinking about putting a stock tank pool in this oddball corner of my yard but I don’t think an 8’ wood look good given how close it would be to the existing deck. A 6’ pool would look better but I usually only see posts of 8’ pools and larger. Anybody build a 6’ pool? Did you think it was worth it? As a side note, I have no kids, just my wife and I so we’re looking for a little place to cool off in the texas heat. submitted by /u/PocketsMcCloud to r/Stocktankpools [link] [comments]

How to ruin your stock tank pool
We spent so so many hours angle grinding off someone else's crappy paint job on our stock tank. https://preview.redd.it/mzuutfcvdw4b1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32792fe6ef90cccf0e4900114311519a68789c04 I waited months for the stars to align with weather between 70-90 degrees with no wind and enough time off work to apply 2 coats of galvanized metal epoxy primer 4 hours apart and 1 coat of pool epoxy 24 hours later. There were 15mph winds at the 24 hour mark so I got the final coat on around hour 40. But this year there was a super bloom and the bugs just fucking came out of nowhere on the day I painted. Here they are in my dried epoxy. These are apparently false chinch bugs. This apocalyptic chinch bug invasion apparently happens about once a decade for about a week, and this was my special week to be a part of it. Yep, my finish is also drippy and uneven because I spent so much time trying to pick out the first round of bugs (landing in the wet paint by the dozen) that I had to rush to finish within the 1 hour epoxy window and gave up trying to make it nice. Not that it matters because the whole thing is toast. https://preview.redd.it/qu7yj9ybew4b1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8dc87a3ba1bcc1f249b89fb60845890767ff5094 https://preview.redd.it/2yavcdgdew4b1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=feb28adc1994fd0ab487a390d63452a8ebe5e9c9 (paint rolling tray) I didn't know about chinch bugs. I didn't know that any bug is attracted to drying epoxy but I have now learned they all are. There are bees in there. There are flies in there. There's a roach stuck to the side. There's a mosquito and a cricket. I tried pulling one up from the dried epoxy & it just leaves a paintless circle with sharp edges so there is no salvaging it. In order to re-epoxy I would need to grind this off and spend $$ on new paint and wait for another magical window with good weather that I also happen to be off work - this one took me 4 months to fit into the schedule. I am so crushed. All the hours, all the $$ on equipment and paint. Edit: I called Kelley Technical Coatings (Olympic pool paint manufacturer) and the guy I spoke with said just pick out the superficial surface bugs and fill it with the other bugs "entombed" and roll with it like that, he thinks it will be fine. He said next season if I want to drain it & sand down the messed up portions just a little to rough them up then I should be able to put another coat of Zeron on it without having to get back down to metal and re-do it from the primer up. Huge relief! submitted by /u/yrsocool to r/Stocktankpools [link] [comments]

SEC Commissioner Jaime Lizarraga brings up the buy freeze to his credit and pushes t+1. However, he incorrectly explains the January 2021 multi-broker buy freeze artificially tanking target stocks as a Robinhood specific disaster. Instinet, a dark pool, was defaulting a $1B+ higher than Robinhood.

My theory was 100% true about "Options Trading". Please read this post if you care about your GME investment. OPTIONS TRADING gives unlimited ammo to Hedge Funds to keep kicking the can down the road. Smart up, buy the underlying stock and hodl.
I am going to copy and paste my post from last month. "Hedge funds don't ever lose on option plays. The recent hype "dated" posts made apes lose so much in option trading. Simply don't trade options. I am not going to start this off by saying "I am smooth brained Ape with little knowledge blah blah..." No, I know what I am talking about and this is how the whole story develops: Apes get so hyped up from certain "dated" posts (DD) and Apes expect the price to shoot up in that specific date. Market Makers/Hedge Funds write option calls and sell these calls to Apes and make a killing. Apes buy those OTM calls thinking it's a win win for them. Hedge Funds/MM look at the OTM "calls" ratio and see it's very high, because of course Apes think they price will shoot up. Hedge funds/MM buy "puts" against Apes' "calls". Hedge funds/MM or aka "Shitadel" direct buy pressure or FOMO, if any, through dark pools and can even short the stock with very small amount of phantom shares. The price tanks on that "hyped" date and Hedge Funds collect tendies from their puts. On the other hand, Apes get frustrated, helpless and powerless. "BTW that's the psychological war that they have been playing since Jan. They want you to hate the stock and wash your hands from it". As you can see, they make money on both ways. Write new OTM call options to Apes and buying puts on the way down. Rinse and repeat for the last 6 months and make millions of dollars off Apes. That's why I have been saying this since January. Apes will never win this war until they completely stay off OTM options. Don't give them more ammo. Please don't. Furthermore, Apes need to downvote every hype post with specific "date". Or simply ask Mod to add a rule and ban dates. Just hodl, buy the dip whenever you can and wait for RC and his team to do something about this. Be fucking patient. Apes got this. Low volume, doesn't matter FTD, doesn't matter Interest rate, doesn't matter TA, doesn't matter Exponential chart, doesn't matter REPO payment, doesn't matter Number of phantom shares, doesn't matter The Ken's ex wife story, doesn't matter s&p 400 or even 500, doesn't matter MACD, doesn't matter Positive Earnings, doesn't matter VWAP crossing, doesn't fucking matter Don't expect SEC or DTCC to do something about this. Apes are dealing with professional criminals who have been doing this for decades. The only thing that matters in this fight is RYAN Cohen. RC needs to act and take the matters into his own hands. I am sure he's working tirelessly and has a plan in place to expose the criminals and protect shareholders interest. Also, remember, besides fighting for apes, he's also fighting for his own 9,000,000 shares and his future." Finally, media is talking now about options trading (here). If this is not a trap for Apes, I don't know what is. BUY and HOLD ONLY the underlying stock not OPTIOPNS. Edit: I got banned from the GME sub last month for saying this. In addition, l was trying to bring MODS's attention to some of the FUD post by shills. Mods in that sub are super sus. Meanwhile, Mods in this sup are extremely diligent, very reasonable and reliable. Furthermore, I also got banned from the Street sub for trying to raise awareness about the Shitadel fuckeries and illicit activities. Edit 2: I can simply backup my argument (or DD) with stats from 100s of other DDs and hyped posts with hyped, such as, April 16, vote counts, 6/9, Russell 2000, s&p 400, NFT in 6/9, vote counts on 6/9, $800 calla being the highest in that period, Kenny's wife, Bell Gates divorce, Jeff' divorce, GME moving to different indexes and balancing, new CEO, RC announced CEO or even the chair, RC 8/14 tweet, ice cream cone on March 19, earrings, 005, 008, margin call, inflation and other pool of regulations that was approved.... and I can keep going. All these hyped dates made apes very frustrated with the stock because it didn't meet expectations. Lots of people lost on calls because they thought GME is going above $800 by these dates. Nothing happened though. Hedgies continue to trap us with these hyped dates. Smart up and remain zen. Also, I am not talking about DDs with date that explains cycles. Those are reasonable and you need dates to explain the theory just like how Crained did. I am against the tinfoil hat theories like the ice cream cone etc. submitted by /u/keenfeed to r/Superstonk [link] [comments]

[IMPORTANT] This is *ACTUALLY* why the price is rebounding:
For the last couple days, the price has been tanking due to hedge fund short attacks and their typical routing of buys through dark pools and sells through the NYSE. We all know that our buys don't apply substantive upward pressure as a result...So why has the price been rising for the last hour? Because the hedge funds themselves are boosting the price! Why would they do this you ask? Because it's all part of a classic hedge fund psychological attack they've been pulling off for years. Research has shown that after an extended period of hard red days, any tangible upward price action will make people so relieved to see green that they'll close out their positions and wash their (paper) hands of the whole situation. The thinking goes that after so much red, any green whatsoever will compel people to sell and walk away, moving onto other securities or out of the markets entirely. And they pull this attack all the time! They crash the price for a couple days/weeks, then boost it, and expect to sit back and watch as people sell off in droves, thankful for any green they see. Don't fall for it. These red days, and the momentary green we're now seeing is all a carefully coordinated and calculated hedge fund attack to strike where you're most vulnerable: your emotions. Hold onto your positions, even buy if you can - because remember, if we were wrong, they would never have bothered with this monumental effort to break our vice-like grip on AMC in the first place. The manipulation alone is all the DD you need that we're on the right track! The best possible counterattack against hedge fund dickery is coincidentally also the easiest: Hold. Simply hold. Hold through the red. Hold through the green. Hold when it's sideways. Hold when its up. Hold when it's down. Simply. Just. Hold. Not financial advice nor a call to collective action. Just an impartial observation of market forces; also, I am simply an individual that just likes the stock. submitted by /u/DogPissRiver to r/amcstock [link] [comments]
