At a board of governors meeting Friday, the league presented several ideas around potential modifications to rules regarding draft pick protections, the draft lottery and other possible approaches, according to multiple sources. In recent years, multiple teams have either shut down players early or sat players for games to try to improve their draft positioning, often tied to a protected pick. Sources said multiple ideas were proposed as a brainstorming measure to combat tanking, including: Limiting pick protections to either top four or 14 and higher, which would eliminate the problematic mid-lottery protections. No longer allowing a team to draft in the top four two years in a row. Locking lottery positions after March 1. I (41f) recently became a step-mom to 3 children, including a 13 year old girl. My husband (37m) and I have been married only since July. This is my first time living in house with children as an adult. Last Saturday, stepdaughter is a freshman in high school and she had friends over. All I did was introduce myself. I was sweaty and gross from doing house chores the whole day. I was wearing a tank top and leggings. The tank top was sweaty, not cute at all. Yesterday, my stepdaughter said I was dressed inappropriately when her friends were over. She show me a message exchange she had with one of her friends (13m) over social media. In a response to one of her questions, the boy answered that I was "smoking hot." I don't see myself that way. She said that I should dress appropriately since I'm her mom now. BTW, it felt good that even though she was upset with me she still called me her mom. She went on to say that she feels grossed out that her mom stole her crush's attention, and she can't like him anymore because of me. Last night, when I asked my husband, he said he wasn't sure if my clothes on Saturday are appropriate or inappropriate around teenage boys. This was about 15 years ago…My extremely Mormon mother saw me in my wedding dress the morning of my wedding and offered to “stop by Walmart on the way to the ceremony. ” So she could pick up a pack of Hanes MENS white tank tops so I could wear one under my wedding dress because it showed cleavage. I’m honestly not surprised because growing up we were forced to wear those cheap ass undershirts all the time under our outfits to be more modest. My favorite part is that she didn’t even offer to get a lace camisole, just the absolute tackiest, cheapest thing to cover my tasteful cleavage.
