I opened new business accounts with U.S. Bank expecting professional service and stability, but the experience quickly turned into one of the most frustrating banking situations I’ve dealt with in over 40 years of business. After spending hours setting up accounts, linking vendors, changing payments, and moving my business operations over, the bank suddenly restricted access to my funds with little communication and no clear explanation. Customer service was inconsistent, departments contradicted each other, and resolving even simple issues became nearly impossible. For a business customer, reliability and communication are everything, and unfortunately this experience created unnecessary stress, delays, and a complete loss of confidence in the bank. My experience was the worst experience and nothing failed. No fraud no like issue like card being froze. This is what happened I applied got approved. When I got my account information online I noticed a custom card ordered for “49’ers” I don’t like football normally I don’t care about a design… but no ….football is too popular I didn’t wanna be stuck in a convo that I don’t even wanna be in. So I called to change it. Now I updated my address……. I called in a week later meaning 7 business days later. Still Haven’t received it. Lady on phone said I should have it tomorrow. I have informed delivery from post office it’s always accurate. It never came. Went on app to just try and re order one. Can’t do it. Called in again and I stated my address and asked if that is what I had on file. She said yes. I asked why is my street name in the apt field and my apt number in the second field “ oh that is wrong “ ?? I can’t make this up. Asked to have card expedited. 2-3 business days. Never came. On top of it. They never closed the original card down. I closed it thank goodness. Both are still showing active in my app. I can’t imagine if fraud happened or billing dispute. Beware. So I found that other US Bank customers voiced their opinion's about US Bank and how absolutely ridiculous their methods are of handling their accounts. Especially Credit Card accounts. I just opened a UDS Bank CC account and made my 1st payment from my BofA checking account. Just as I have done over the years many many times when I need to make a credit card payment on any credit card. I know for a fact that I entered in my correct routing number and account number. I made a payment that said it went through as pending. But then 5 days later, the payment showed up as "reversed" in my US Bank CC account. I called and asked why and they told me because they could not get their money for the payment. I am set up for ALL ALERTS and yet I was NOT ALERTED nor was I contacted in any way that they could NOT GET THIER MONEY for the payment. Fortunately for me, the payment isn't due until the 28th of this month. So I had time to fix it. The US Bank rep on the phone kept saying that I entered my information incorrectly. I told her that it is possible that the person(s) that process payments etc. could have made the mistake. And also they "TAKE FOREVER TO POST A CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION AS POSTED." I have about 13 transactions since 8 days ago that still show as "PENDING." I will never ever get or apply for ANYTHING TO DO WITH US BANK. after I am done with the credit card account I just opened.
