when accidentlly knocking over the tall UV Lamp or sometimes just trying to move it , it turns off and can no longer activate it again even if i put it away and pull it back out again unless i completly restart the game

In my experience the blood in the room above can count for the basement. Around the very big painting. Air Cleaner may show direction to any dirt/blood left. Unless you've already used it in the same area. Walk around everywhere holding UV lamp. Otherwise just mop/sponge everything. Better so with upgrades and detergents increasing cleaning area.

I've noticed once you banish the ghost the hand prints should all show up without needing the UV lamp. I've played for 11 hours and haven't had this issue yet, I tend to leave the handprints until after I banish the ghost so I don't need to drag around the UV.

Looks like the Drawer just want Money, it has not taken a Knife and a Hand UV Lamp. The Description says it take small Items, so I should be able to place Tools in it too. Also it Work like a Box, so not sure how to take one Item from it. Better would be if it work like the Inventory. Tested with the 2x2 Drawer.

Looking for professional & personal experience recommendations for a new UV and/or LED gel nail lamp. I am not a professional, but I have been doing my own gel manicures since ~2015 using the 5-45 Gelish nail lamp that I bought at Sally's Beauty Supply before I knew anything about what to really look for. I understand it is recommended to buy the same lamp as the nail polish brand, but for at-home use with a variety of product brands (Gelish, OPI Gel, DND Gel, etc.) that is not feasible. Therefore, I am looking for a lamp that cures well across several brands. My old lamp worked well and I think it was just LED (no UV) but not 100% sure. That being said, not sure if I should stick with LED or do a UV + LED combo lamp to ensure I touch all wavelengths in the spectrum. I am fine with spending a couple hundred dollars if needed (I see it as a long-term investment/cheaper than regular salon appts). Any brand and lamp recommendations? Picture of lamps so my post doesn’t get lost I’ve done my nails once since then, I’ve just been building my gel and nail art collection. I’ve been waiting until I got a solid nail lamp.. It was between Ikonna and Kokoist. I decided Ikonna but then I ended up getting A LOTTTTT of Kokoist products. So I feel like Kokoist is the way to go now.. The le blanc hybrid is out of stock though.. I don’t want to get the Ikonna and then 3 days later the Kokoist one comes back in stock lol. Is there a lamp I could buy in the mean time? I saw that the sunUV sun3 works with Kokoist products. I’d rather spend $70 on that lamp while I wait for the Kokoist one to come back in stock, than spend $160 and then the Kokoist becomes available again. I obviously want to be safe, but I also don’t want to spend tons of extra money.. which is why I’ve been holding out on doing my nails, but it’s driving me crazy bc I have so much I want to try lol. Hello all! I live in a very rural area and have learned to do my own gel nails, as safely as possible over the last few years. I bought an okay lamp but feel like it’s time to upgrade to a safer and more powerful curing lamp. The ones recommended (like Light Elegance or Akzentz) only sell to licensed professionals. This is never going to be my profession but I am also never going to a salon. I want to find something better than my current lamp. What are my options that you would recommend? 5 days ago I traveled to Sanya (basically the Miami of China) to spend the winter and Chinese new year there with my family. My grandma prepared my bedroom for me and as soon as I entered the room I noticed this weird looking lamp without a shade that had a blue/purple-ish color to it. I didn’t question it much other than thinking that my grandma probably had a unique taste in home decors. I then proceeded to spend the rest of the week with this weird lamp for a few hours every night while I scrolled on reels and tiktok before I went to sleep. Now you must wonder, how did my dumbass not notice that I was being exposed to basically the full power of the sun without the ozone on a cloudless afternoon while butt naked for hours? Here’s the thing: Sanya has a tropical monsoon climate where the sun is literally a deadly laser, and I have been drinking a bunch of 80 proof baijiu everyday as soon as I’ve arrived bc of the holidays. I felt the sunburn sensation on my skin immediately on day 2 and started peeling on day 3 especially on my face. Everyone around me just assumed I was a thin skinned baby face bc all the uncs I had met were totally fine playing golf or hanging around outside all day without sunscreen. I accepted the humiliation and honestly based on my previous experience swimming in Egypt on a cloudy day and literary shedding my entire skin like a snake afterwards, I thought it was a me problem too. In the morning of day 4, after an extra intense night of alcohol overconsumption, I woke up literally unable to keep my eyes open for more than 5 seconds. I asked google if this was a common hangover symptom and mf said yes. I then proceeded to purchase some artificial tears to help my eyes feel better. On top of the dryness, I wasn’t even able to focus my eyes all day and my vision got noticeably worse. My face was peeling too. Still, I thought I was just hungover and was suffering the consequences of being a low melanin beta. Finally, tonight, my grandma switched my lamp for a brighter one bc she thought it looked weird too and had the lamp placed in another room where my mom was going to stay. My mom immediately noticed a weird smell (I did not smell anything when I had it) and realized the lamp is actually emitting UV light. Apparently one of my uncle bought my grandma this lamp during the pandemic to help disinfect things and she forgot what it was for. Thankfully nobody used it before I came. My eyes have recovered and my skin has almost stopped peeling since. I’m just thankful that I didn’t accidentally leave the light on all night long. Now take this lesson in and please double check when a light near you has blue/purple colors or smelled off. Also, always wear sunscreen! Don’t forget your ears too! TL:DR Got exposed to intense UV radiation from a light that my grandma mistakenly placed in my bedroom thinking it was a normal lamp. To begin, i wanted to post this because i have seen some discussion about it in the sub, and some questioning the validity of the study (which is reasonable). Since it's been a recent topic i felt that my experience would be valuable in sharing with others or at least prompt positive conversation to help everyone understand. I also don't want to scare anyone! TLDR: tried sunscreen during my manicure for the first time while using UV lamp, washed my hands and could see a visible difference in skin tone where I neglected to apply sunscreen. I'm no longer in denial about the study that observed cell damage with UV lamp use, and suggests that gel manicures may lead to increased risk in developing cancer. EDIT: It appears that the consensus is that I am crazy! Just to elaborate the color difference wasn't crazy stark, i only said noticeable, but that wasn't very clear, it was a slight but noticeable shade difference, and as I said it faded mostly by the next day. Maybe, as I also pointed out, it could be a fluke. Perhaps it was due to increased circulation to my hands, or maybe the sunscreen left unexpected residue behind even though I washed my hands thoroughly with soap.
