Huge fan of Fuse here. Haven't demo-ed this plugin yet, but is there a way to get the meter to show the gain reduction of the compressor? Hi everyone, I recently purchased two Panasonic inverter ACs (2025): 1 Ton - Model CS-SU12AKY3W / CU-SU12AKY3W 2 Ton Panasonic AC The 2 Ton AC works perfectly and its outdoor unit is very quiet. However, the 1 Ton AC initially had a cooling issue, so Panasonic service replaced the outdoor unit. After the replacement the outdoor unit is making a noticeably loud noise (video attached). The technician says this is normal compressor noise, but I'm not convinced because: My 2 Ton Panasonic outdoor unit is almost silent The 1 Ton unit is very louder The noise started only after the outdoor unit replacement Request - If anyone owns this model or a similar Panasonic 1 Ton inverter AC, could you: Check the video I attached Let me know if your outdoor unit sounds similar Share a short video of your outdoor unit running I want to confirm whether this compressor noise is normal or if the outdoor unit is faulty. i have multiple videos in a game recorder folder on my pc, and in the last week i've noticed that it takes up almost half my storage (i have about a terabyte, this takes up around 400 gigs). the problem is, im a bit of a hoarder (not in the physical sense, i just have sentimental value to a lot of clips) so i deleted all the clips i didnt really care for (which was a decent amount) however it still takes up around 400 gigs. is there a downloadable video compressor that i can use that will compress it enough to where it's still legible and will actually play? thanks in advance ^_^ . been streaming for like 8 months stuck at 1-3 viewers. tried everything, different games, more talking, better schedule. nothing changed and i was getting frustrated thinking maybe im just not entertaining enough then someone in chat said "your vibe is cool but the stream is hard to watch" and left. that one hurt ngl finally sat down and actually watched my own vod like a viewer would. within 5 mins i understood everything my starting screen was 15 mins with no music or eta. game audio was drowning out my voice completely. transition sounds were louder than me talking which was jarring. my overlay was covering like 40% of the screen. and worst part, so much dead air. i wasnt reacting to anything just silently playing basically i was asking myself "would i watch this?" and the answer was no spent a weekend fixing stuff. got my audio balanced with obs compressor so game doesnt drown me out anymore. cut my overlay down to essentials. added background music for starting screen and kept it under 5 mins. started talking more even when nobody chatting, just reacting to the game out loud also upgraded from laptop cam to an emeet pixy and grabbed a neewer ring light. the visual difference was bigger than i expected, went from looking like a ghost to actually normal first week after changes my average watch time doubled. now hitting 6-8 viewers and people actually stick around to chat. turns out it wasnt my personality, it was everything else pushing people away before they could even vibe with me biggest things i learned: watch your own vods, if you wouldnt watch it why would anyone else audio is more important than video but both matter dead air kills streams, talk even if nobody is there simple overlay > cluttered overlay starting screen should be 5 mins max with music and eta Hope it is useful. submitted by /u/Wide-Huckleberry-151 to r/Twitch [link] [comments]

Watching everyone scramble before this winter storm and it’s the same thing every time… people buying 8-10kW open frame generators to run… a fridge, some lights, a heater or maybe a furnace and charge their phones. A generator is better than no generator, but before you panic take a step back and think about what you actually need to run in an emergency. There's a decent video on this subject here: What Really Happens on Day 2 of a Power Outage This does not apply to everyone. I have both a 7000W and a 2200W inverter generator. I'm able to use my 2200W the majority of the time in my situation. Everybody's situation, home/loads/infrastructure is different, so keep that in mind. Things like your fuel source for heat, hot water, your water source, inrush current requirements of your appliances, needing 240V, etc. play a huge factor. Let's hypothetically add up your "essential" loads assuming you have NG for heat and hot water: Fridge: 100-400W running, can peak higher for defrost Gas furnace: 400W-600W running Gas tankless water heater: 100W running Lights: 50W-100W Phone charging: 25W WiFi router: 10W TV, computers: 125W You’re looking at 700-1400W depending on whether your furnace is cycling. Maybe 1800W peaks if the fridge compressor kicks on while the furnace runs. So let's pretend you’ve got an 8kW generator running at 15% capacity. It’s guzzling fuel to basically idle, it sounds like a screaming banshee, and you’ll burn through your gas reserves 3-4x faster than you need to. What happens when the outage goes 5+ days? 10 days? Good luck keeping that massive generator fed with 20 gallons a day when gas stations are down or have 2 hour lines. That big generator becomes a very expensive paperweight real quick. Can you maintain 0.75-1 gallon per hour for an extended time? A 2000-3000W inverter generator at that same load is sipping fuel, super quiet, and actually runs efficiently because it’s being loaded appropriately. The majority of the time (depending on the season or what property I'm at) I am able to run an EU2200i with a propane conversion. Having two fuel sources to choose from in a real emergency is huge. I have a 7000W inverter generator for when I need it. 1200W~ average load in my whole house during a real emergency, 15 days of fuel on hand, and I can actually sleep while it runs and not worry about attracting unwanted attention. This will not work for everyone. Every home is different with different loads, e.g. big sump pumps, whole house AC in the summer, electric heat, well pumps, etc. If you're in that boat ignore this post. Just be smart. Try not to panic buy. Take your time to do the math on what you really need during an extended outage. Think about how long you'll actually be able to run those loads.
