Thoughts on this lab grown diamond?
I’m looking for a round 2.5 -3 carat diamond. I’ve been using the Holloway Cut Advisor to help me find a good diamond for an engagement ring. According to HCA: Diamonds scoring below 1.0 may be more suitable for earrings and pendants than rings. Should I skip on this one and look for a diamond that scores between 1.0-2.0? submitted by /u/MissionBill5808 to r/Diamonds [link] [comments]

Trying to find 14k Gold .50 Carat Diamond/Lab Diamond Earrings. I feel like I see conflicting reviews everywhere and don't know where to look.
Title says it all. I feel like I start my search and see a company or brand recommended, search specific reviews, and reddit subs trash and say "don't buy here" on every brand. It's confusing to see subs rave about a brand and at the same time say they hate them. Some cliff notes: Saw good things on James Avery, found a pair of lab I liked, reddit than said they are awful. I also don't like how I would have to call to return if I didn't like them and seems I would have to pay the postage. I'm deaf in one ear, so I hate calling and that's a big turn off. Saw people recommended blue nile > james avery, reddit again says to stay away. I have two pairs of hoops from quince and I really like them. 2+ years and I wear them literally every day in my first and second holes and not a issue at all. Went to Quince sub and people are complaining they aren't "fully" gold (at the time of posting there is a heated debate going on over there). They have a pair of natural back in stock right now I have had saved for a bit. A bit more than I'd like to spend but willing to make the investment. I've been in a phase of curating a "forever" collection of jewelry. I literally only have three pairs of earrings - my two hoops and a pair of cheapy studs in my thirds. I'm looking for a nice pair for my thirds that will be worn literally every day. I'm in a remote location so can't hit any "big name" stores. I want an option to return in case I do not like them. I think I'm leaning more towards lab given the price but what are good places to look? submitted by /u/guill0t1ne to r/Diamonds [link] [comments]

Looking for a mount (earrings) for lab grown diamond 4 ct
Hello, I just bought 2* 4 carats lab grown from Calavera and i am soo happy with them. And i want to make them into Studearrings (Whitegold). I thought that i can give them easily to a goldsmith in my city. The only issue that i have is where i live they would charge me around 3000 usd for putting the Diamond in earrings - unfortunately i don’t have that much money. Does anyone know a way to solve this problem? Stone size: 11.35 X 8.15 X 5.44 MM Desired Material: Whitegold submitted by /u/user274947 to r/labdiamond [link] [comments]

Lab Grown Diamond Stud Earrings - online or in person?
I have a big birthday coming up and have always wanted real diamond earrings. I asked the shop in Saratoga where I got my engagement ring and they said they wouldn't do custom lab earrings. I want them to be very plain, round studs, with gold. Any suggestions? I've looked on quince, blue nile, james allen, the real real. I would be cool with Costco but from the pricing they appear to be mined, not lab grown. Also looking at Nordstrom Online - earrings thru Bliss. Any suggestions for online or in store? Looking for total carat weight: 2 - 3 (1 - 1.5/ear). Thanks!! submitted by /u/Liyah15678 to r/SFbitcheswithtaste [link] [comments]

[Adamas Studio] - [Octagon Diamonds and Moissanite (loose and set!), 4 setting choices (2 rings, earrings, a pendant)] - [$280-$6576] - [4/26/2025 - 5/19/2025, SALE EXTENDED] - [Worldwide Shipping, Routed Through the UK (no tariff issues here!!)]
SALE EXTENDED for an additional 11 Days! Hi hello! We originally wanted to keep this at just 10 days, but have had some requests to keep it open a bit longer, so we are extending it for an additional 11 days to give it the full three weeks that we typically see with group buys from other vendors. We hope that you'll join us in this! You'll see that we have added videos - these are the diamonds! - and oh my god, we hope that you're as impressed by these as we are. Now, if you haven't seen this already, let me tell you about this sale!! About the Octagon Collection Group Buy This collection was designed to do one thing exceptionally well: honor the architecture of the octagon cut - a shape often distorted by poor settings, inconsistent symmetry, or design choices that dull its unique identity. We found a vendor who nailed the symmetry, and we jumped at the opportunity. We’re offering both loose stones (lab-grown diamonds and non-coated colored moissanite) and four setting options: two rings, one pendant, and one earrings style - each one designed to maximize light performance for both materials. All designs are available in sterling silver, 10k gold, 14k gold, 18k gold, or platinum - and yes, our platinum pricing is currently lower than 18k gold! Everything is nickel-free. Diamond vs. Moissanite (And Why Color Matters) Lab-Grown Diamond: Crisp, sharp contrast and clean edge structure, offered in DEF color, VS1+ clarity. All diamonds will be IGI certified EX/EX/EX. See the diamond we're basing the faceting off HERE!! and HERE (same link as above, but we really want to make sure you don't miss it!) Colored Moissanite: Richer tones - champagne (light and dark), grey, teal, green, and dark blue - bring octagons alive through dramatic double refraction and bold light play. (Colorless step-cut moissanite can sometimes appear glassy; color makes it shine.) Dark Blue Grey Blue Green Dark Champagne Champagne Dark Green Moissanite and diamond stones are held to the same cutting precision standards, even though only diamonds receive IGI certification. The Designs - Built to Preserve the Shape, Not Mute It SEE THE CADS HERE! Tulip Basket Octagon Ring Eight prongs - one for each side - preserve the octagon’s whole structure. Open gallery enhances light performance. Stackable, low-profile, with optional pavé or colored accents. Solid Bezel Octagon Ring A protective bezel hugs the crisp edges without obscuring them, but it remains open at the bottom for easy cleaning and maximum light return. Minimalist, structured, and durable. Bezel Octagon Pendant Chain-through bezel eliminates distracting bails. Flush against the chest to keep the octagon centered and clean. Not automatically offered with a chain - we’ll contact you with options once you place your order! Martini-Set Bezel Octagon Stud Earrings Hybrid design combining a three-prong martini basket with a slim bezel. Solves light return and heaviness issues common to bezel earrings. Stones sit flush with minimal forward tilt. 🔗 Full Updated Pricing Spreadsheet Quick Breakdown - Pricing Transparency Moissanite Pricing: Retail Price: 220% markup (standard made-to-order) Launch Price (0-10 orders): ~18% off retail Secondary Price (11-20 orders): ~30% off retail Final Price (21+ orders): ~40% off retail Diamond Pricing: Our diamond cutter is a boutique operation, focusing on small-batch, precision work rather than mass-producing stones for virtual inventories. They do not offer volume discounts - whether we order one diamond or one hundred, the per-carat cost remains the same. That means any discounts you see on the diamonds are created by us, cutting into our own margins to make these stones more accessible, because we believe the craftsmanship and quality are genuinely exceptional. Diamond discounts range from 9% to 31% off retail, depending on the stone and setting. (For context: typical group buys average 5-15% off) A quick note!!! Some users have reported issues in terms of being in the US and pricing showing up in £ (pound sterling!) - this is because Alice is in the UK, and we're a co-located company, so we have a website that adapts based on location. If you use a VPN, your pricing may show up with a £ instead of a $. Don't worry - your invoice WILL reflect the proper pricing. The spreadsheet is the single source of truth here, so when in doubt, default to that! And do not hesitate to ask us questions if you have them. Donation Impact 10% of all profits from this group buy will be donated to support domestic violence survivors. Your participation helps fund emergency essentials, access to legal aid, and direct assistance for those rebuilding their lives after experiencing violence. You’ll receive an email once orders are closed and completed, showing exactly where your 10% went. [These are not added onto cost, they’re pulled out of our profit] You’re not just buying something beautiful - you’re helping create tangible change. Important Notes No Upfront Payment - invoices are sent after the group closes and final discounts are confirmed. You can choose: "I want to participate no matter what pricing tier is reached.” "I only want to participate if we hit 10+ orders." Shipping: Worldwide shipping is available! Shipping fees are $20 Everything is routed from India to the UK (Alice!) and then either to the US (Gabrielle!) if you’re located in North America, or from the UK to wherever you’re located. That means no massive tariffs or surprise fees. Site Navigation Tips: Scroll down on product pages to see colored moissanite videos. Ensure that you select all checkbox options (especially metal) for your pricing to update correctly. The price displayed at checkout is preliminary - final invoices will reflect the group buy pricing tier. How to Join 🔗 Place your order here! Ebay-$775 for 2 carat G VS2 Stud Earrings
I am looking for 2 carat + tw round stud earrings. Prices at on line established names are $2000 or so. But all my research says prices are dropping and that the resale prices are very low (so be careful) Some people I see posted eBay sites where the “lab diamonds” are offered for less than $100. And the commentary warns them off. There are also sites where the prices are like $775. The diamonds come with IGI certificates, and return rights. So are these real? Can these sites with IGI certificates be trusted on eBay? Are these acceptable deals. Thanks for the help! submitted by /u/Zee-person to r/LabDiamonds [link] [comments]

Shipping Cost & Method: All prices include shipping. Loose Grown Diamond.com experience and some gorgeous custom earrings.
First, let me note that I was asked by Chris at loosegrowndiamond.com (LGD) to leave a review of my experience. I wasn't promised anything for leaving this review, and was planning on doing it anyhow, but it was the kick I needed to snap some pics and sit down to write this! Recently, I got some 3 ct tw lab diamond studs which made my natural diamond earrings look a bit small (doh!). My ears are double pierced, and usually I wear studs in my upper holes, and hoops or drop earrings in my lower holes. With the new studs, I wanted a nice set of drop earrings to match, so I set out to find something in a 3+ ct tw drop earring. After no luck finding what I was looking for, but being amazed by the prices on LGD, I reached out to see if they could set a pair of certified stones in one of the styles on their site. Through chat, they gave me a price for the setting, I picked out 2 stones at 1.5 carats each, and checked out. Easy, right? Unfortunately the stones I picked were sold out, and Chris from LGD reached out to me on WhatsApp to have me pick some new stones (at no additional cost to me). Once I verified through the site's chat that it was legitimately the company reaching out to me I picked out some similar or even better main stones and moved the process along. That was the weirdest part of the process, why WhatsApp, not e-mail? So weird, but hey, it worked. Later, through email, I was sent some cad and 3d renders of my earrings for approval. About 3 weeks after approving, my new precious arrived! With LGD being newer and having few reviews, I was a bit worried about ordering, but between my credit card's protection, and the price for what I was getting, I figured it was worth the risk. Boy, was it ever worth the risk! I can't imagine a nicer pair of earrings for the price I paid. I need to climb out of this lab diamond hole I've fallen into. Studs from a local store, drop earrings from LGD, a tennis bracelet and huggies from Alex Parks, and an absolutely gorgeous 5 carat emerald cut ring from Rare Carat. Sorry the picture isn't the greatest, it was hard to hold the earrings and snap the pic! Hope someone finds this review helpful!! Edited to add stone specs: 1.51 carat H/VS2 Ideal cut, 1.53 carat H/SI1 Ideal cut https://preview.redd.it/jysxc31v94ua1.jpg?width=1334&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7eaa35ebf0ddacd86ea43cb16032e7a14922274 submitted by /u/mrgrossm to r/labdiamond [link] [comments]

Lab grown diamond earrings around 2 ct total. - where do I start?
Hi. I want to upgrade my wife’s 1 carat total weight diamond earring studs to something larger (around 2 carat total.) Naturally, I want a good value. I’m going to go with lab grown (she’s fine with this.) My assumption is that with earrings you can go down a little on clarity, since her girlfriend won’t be inspecting her ears so closely (unlike with an engagement ring. :) ) What’s a good starting point as far as clarity and color? Her current studs are round, so I thought I’d stick with that but could be persuaded to look at other shapes. Any dealers/online sellers that you can recommend? Thanks for the help. submitted by /u/Frandeeschersnose to r/Diamonds [link] [comments]
