I usually never look at specific orders because honestly I don’t care what people are out here buying. But yesterday I had to wait for this smoothie order, took like five minutes so I got bored and checked out the receipt on the bag as I was waiting… Am I justified in being shocked? I can’t imagine spending over $30 for one single smoothie, plus all the DD fees, woulda made it what? $40? $50? Then she ordered again today, almost the same price. Fairly new to fragrance and have been really into my vanilla scents recently. I wore this while out golfing and had a guy notice it while standing next to me, followed by a string of “oh my god that smells amazing, you smell amazing, I could smell this all day” and another reaction at the end of the day when I gave him a hug bye. Men are simple creatures…and a lot of them seem to like vanilla. This had great projection, lasted all day (outside!) and I just really love it. Here’s my honest breakdown of what hit, what flopped, and what I wish I’d never sniffed. Perfume is wildly subjective, so drop your thoughts or recs in the comments—I want to hear it all. ⸻ Chabaud Maison de Parfum Lait Concentré 2/10 Disappointing. Yes, it’s milky—but in a way that reminds me of spoiled milk. Not pleasant. Not wearable. Not for me. Les Liquides Imaginaires Blanche Bête 5/10 Not gourmand. This leans floral-sweet with a crisp, cool edge. Interesting but not comforting or cozy. Xerjoff Casamorati Italica 2/10 Shocking miss. No almond extract vibes, just a sharp and off-putting scent I couldn’t connect with. Akro Bake 9/10 LEMON CAKE in all caps. Strong citrus with a sweet bake-y base. If you don’t like lemon, skip it. Lush – Let the Good Times Roll 8/10 A fresh, clean, slightly sweet scent. I actually didn’t love it at first, but it really grew on me. It’s a solid blind buy—pleasant without being overpowering. Bianco Latte 7.5/10 I’ve worn this a few times now. While it definitely smells nice, it’s a bit too powdery and strong for me. The initial spray can be overwhelming—almost nauseating due to the intense powdery note. Last night she made kraft mac and cheese but used sweetened vanilla almond milk instead of regular milk and sprinkled (not fresh) bacon crumbles on top. I didn't say a word but took a bite or 2, and sneakily disposed of it after she ate her's without being rude. She didn't even notice that I didn't eat it. She found it in the trash and she's calling me picky right now and saying it's frustrating that I didn't eat it. I always liked almond croissants and things like that so I knew I liked the flavor, but it just has never occurred to me to actually buy some and use it. It’s so good. Have used it for French toast and sugar cookies so far. I feel like I’m going to use it so much now. Edit: Wow, seems like I’m not the only one!! So many great ideas here.
