What is up with Colostrum? Touted for skin and nails and more. But I looked into it and the evidence is scant, something the CEO of Armra seems to acknowledge. And yet sales are up over 3000% over the last two years.

Best brands of colostrum: throw down
I have been taking Armra colostrum. There are superficial changes (hair, maybe skin), but health wise, not too sure. In any case, I'm older and want to continue it, but not for $100 a pop. I also tried WonderCow which wasn't bad, but not as mixable (or flavorful) as Armra, and I also have tried Alaya, which you probably actually need a blender to actually get it to dissolve properly and I always deal with lumps. I don't know what the most significant properties of each are, as I never took a deep dive, so I guess my question is for colostrum experts - which is the best out there? I think it's probably important that the product is derived from grass - pasture - raised cows of course. What else is important to know? submitted by /u/AngryWeasel_ to r/Supplements [link] [comments]

Armra Colostrum
Hi everyone. So about a year ago I noticed the promotional push for armra. I was hoping it would help with my acne. I purchased in January and started taking (I was perfectly healthy besides acne) Here is what happenedā¦ā¦ I got violently sick, cold flu/ stomach virus/ the works. I kept taking it and that is when my body took a turn. I was never the same again up until a few months ago being diagnosed with Hashimotos and wild labs. I remember a few months after starting reading numerous threads about armra causing auto immune flares and random things to pop up in the body- (it is bovine so this would make sense) now going BACK on Reddit I noticed all of those threads I read are gone, there is no negative talk about it etc. I am curious if anyone has been taking it or noticed anything started from them after. I am dumbfounded and quite honestly when I stopped taking it my symptoms got better but now I am so sensitive to everything including a kiwi, my histamine response is 10 fold etc. please someone give me advice. Also I have noticed since being on medications my histamine response has gotten worse etc. for reference I am taking NP thyroid 60 and cytomel 5mg and I have periods of inflammation after eating or taking the wrong supplement and itās become now being fearful of eating anything or taking anything. I feel worse than I did before being diagnosed with the inflammation. Anxiety, body pain etc is better. Any advice is great! submitted by /u/Comfortable_Week926 to r/Hashimotos [link] [comments]

Why isnāt anyone talking about Armra Colostrum?
Itās blowing my mind that so many influencers are now taking and talking about Armra Cow colostrum and no oneās talking about how weird and sad it is. If youāre unaware of what colostrum is, itās produced by a mother during the late stages of pregnancy and before her milk comes in to feed her baby. Itās thick and highly nutrient dense. Humans produce too. The brandās messaging for the influencers has them talk about how the colostrum is a by-product and would go to waste otherwise. Essentially making it seem like theyāre doing right by the cows by using this colostrum as a human supplement. One ounce of critical thinking would help them realize the excess colostrum is a by-product of forcing these cows to have babies and then taking their babies away from them. The colostrum is literally created by the cows to feed their babies. The saddest part is that every influencer Iāve seen taking Armra is a mom. Theyāve made colostrum for their own babies yet think somehow itās cool to be using cow colostrum as a supplement. Rant over. I just donāt understand how itās becoming so normalized. ETA: Regarding sourcing, their website says āFurthermore, ARMRA upholds a commitment to calf-first sourcing. This means ARMRA only collects overflow colostrum, the surplus remaining after the calves are fully fed to receive all the vital nutrients they need. Typically, this surplus is discarded as an industry waste product; instead, ARMRA upcycles it to ensure the calves' needs come first and no colostrum goes to waste.ā Not sure how thereās enough surplus to fuel an entire supplement company but ok. submitted by /u/boudsey2 to r/vegan [link] [comments]

Has anyone tried ARMRA Colostrum or Seed DS-01 Daily Synbiotic?
Hey everyone, Iāve been looking into ARMRA Colostrum and Seed DS-01 Daily Synbiotic, but I want to hear from others before trying them. ARMRA Colostrum: Seems to focus on gut health, immunity, and cellular repair. Has anyone here tried it? Did you notice any benefits or side effects, especially related to methylation? Seed DS-01 Daily Synbiotic: A probiotic + prebiotic blend. Did it help with gut health, energy levels, or inflammation? Any reactions to the ingredients for those of us with MTHFR mutations? Even if you haven't tried them, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Based on the info available about these products, do they seem like a good fit for someone with an MTHFR mutation? Are there any ingredients or claims that raise red flags? Anything youād look out for before trying them? Also, if youāve found other gut health supplements that have worked well for you with MTHFR, Iād love to hear about those too! Thanks in advance for your insights! submitted by /u/thatsaproperbite to r/MTHFR [link] [comments]

Armra colostrum caused acne. Anyone else experience this?
I started taking armra colostrum daily as suggested, and a few weeks after starting I developed some pretty bad acne in the hormonal area (sides of mouth and chin). I stopped taking it and it went away very quickly. I started taking it after it cleared just to be sure it was the cause, and i started breaking out again. Like last time, after I stopped taking it, my skin cleared. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? It's a bummer because I've noticed huge improvements in my energy and my hair. Was really hoping I could keep taking this but the acne wasn't worth it to me. I also want to add I got bloodwork done to check my hormone levels and everything else and it was all normal. submitted by /u/LeftWillingness8221 to r/Supplements [link] [comments]

My job interview at ARMRA Colostrum
Recently went through the interview process with a supplement company called ARMRA Colostrum for a marketing role. I'm writing this review here as they removed my original one from Glassdoor. Essentially it was extremely unclear for the recruiter on what job title they were hiring for, but she had said someone who is a director, but not a director... (what?). Met with the hiring manager who eventually said I was an amazing fit for the company and he loved my background in marketing, and I definitely was a top candidate, and then next I would interview with the COO. I'm not sure why the COO was involved in the process as she didn't understand the role, or the day to day functions of it and essentially kept asking me the same generic question in "how will you optimize and scale our marketing?". When asked questions like this, its extremely difficult to know exactly WHAT to optimize and scale when you are not able to see what the problem is. I did give my points on what could be worked on potentially from what I saw. This is like asking an engineer to fix a plane without letting them know what the issue is in the first place or letting them see it. A few weeks go by and nothing. Then the recruiter messages me back and says the hiring manager and the COO had a misalignment on the role and they would get back to me asap. Then two months goes by and finally I get the message the COO ended up hiring someone they knew they felt was a "better fit" at this time. My guess is that they want a "director" level role, without having to pay for it. Anyways I looked at their Glassdoor reviews and they have some of the worst reviews I have ever seen in my life for a company. Definitely dodged a bullet there with the massive amount of layoffs they have going on. submitted by /u/_mavricks to r/Layoffs [link] [comments]

Armra Colostrum has helped my gut so much!
I caved and bought the miracle powder advertised to me on the socials. For anyone who doesnāt know, colostrum is the first milk that mammals produce that ready their new borns for the outside world. So it boosts immunity, aids digestion, helps with focus and energy etc. Iāve noticed a lot of benefits but my gut health has improved drastically. I had chronic diarrhea and tried all sorts of things that helped to varying degrees. This has made the biggest difference and even though I skip days (sometimes many days at a time, thanks ADHD) I still get the benefits. Like many here, Iāve had to cut back on inflammatory foods like gluten and dairy. I still canāt have a meal of pizza and not feel horrible for a few days, but it makes a little bit here and there completely manageable. There are other colostrum supplements including goat instead of cow, but Armra brand is what I use and thatās what I can vouch for. I just thought Iād share since so many of us have digestive issues. I hope it can provide relief to someone else. submitted by /u/barefootcuntessa_ to r/endometriosis [link] [comments]

Is Armra Colostrum worth it? Please tell me how it helped you.
I bought two of the bulk jars for Black Friday because itās founder and creator was on a health podcast that I generally trust. Itās day 3 (or 4?), and Iāve experienced nothing really besides maybe my face looks clearer acne-wise. For what itās worth, I didnāt have digestive problems when I bought it and still donāt after taking it daily (this seems to be a common effect?). Please tell me about your experiences with the brand and thank you in advance! submitted by /u/wooshoff to r/Supplements [link] [comments]

ARMRA colostrum allergic reaction?
Hi, I bought ARMRA colostrum a while ago and took it for a few days initially, stopped and then re-started after taking a break for over a month. The second time I took it for at least a week until I stopped again. I am not lactose intolerant and had no GI issues while taking it but noticed after several days that I started developing severe itching and moderate burning on several areas of my body. My lower legs are especially bad and when I apply cortisone cream I notice tiny colorless little bumps that resemble a rash or hives. I stopped taking colostrum several days ago as it was the only thing that appeared to have been newly introduced into my system. I am hoping that it may just take some time to improve, as my lower legs are still badly affected. I have been taking Claritin for a couple of days but it doesn't really seem to help. Has anybody heard of colostrum causing itching/rashes/hives or any other notable allergic side effects? They've been marketing this product like it's the holy grail of supplements and I am having a hard time coming up with anything negative in terms of reviews and side effects. submitted by /u/Big_Kiwi250 to r/Supplements [link] [comments]

ARMRA (and colostrum vs collagen)
I'm getting a lot of ads lately for ARMRA, whose website says "It's patent-pending, premium bovine colostrum concentrate, well known among insiders as the unrivaled powerhouse of over 200+ bioactive nutrients." It also says that collagen is just a raw ingredient, while colostrum is more of a whole food that helps at more stages of various helpful biological processes. Colostrum is also the first liquid produced in the early stages of breastfeeding, and is obviously great for babies: https://www.webmd.com/baby/what-is-colostrum I haven't seen it discussed here for adults, much less for skincare, but I'm certainly somewhat intrigued. Has anyone here tried it, for skincare or other reasons? submitted by /u/eight-sided to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Anyone here try Armra supplement?
The reviews are amazing and there is science to back up at least some of the claims, and it makes sense that the product would work. It's a bit pricey though and I am am skeptical of anything health related that has so much hype. Would be curious to get some reviews from people who have tried it, not from their website.
