Reccs for skin tint/bb cream that will play well with Elta MD UV Clear (silicone-based) sunscreen?
I'm looking for a skin tint/bb cream/lightweight foundation for everyday makeup that will pair well with Elta MD UV Clear sunscreen as that's the one sunscreen that works for me. I know many of these products do contain spf but I use tretinoin which makes my skin more photo-sensitive and I've heard you need to use heavy application with any makeup that contains spf to get adequate sun protection. I'm looking for a lighter application that's why I'd like to layer over my sunscreen. But if you have a fave skin tint/bb cream that does provide adequate sun protection on its own, feel free to lmk! Some products I'm considering: Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream, Dior Forever Perfect, Lisa Eldridge skin tint, Ilia skin tint Edit: my skin is oily-leaning, but the tret does dry me out a bit. Also I'm fair-neutral, have some golden/olive tones in my neck but my face gets red so sometimes cool-neutrals looks better on me I have tried the tinted Elta MD, unfortunately it's too dark and orange on me Thanks in advance for any reccs! submitted by /u/EcstaticDragonfruit9 to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Differences between BB and CC creams? Looking for least coverage and no spf
I have tried so many countless products. I’m 40, I have very dry skin, including eczema, fine lines around my eyes, cannot find one tinted moisturizer or BV or CC cream that has yet to go on and stay on without patching, flaking, etc., etc. regardless of how many moisturizing steps I use to prep (and I start putting on these layers while my skin is still damp to ensure locking in of moisture). I also am using hydrating skin preps and tried different layering techniques, just end up with the same results each time… Patchy coverage, flaking around certain areas, and just feeling even less confident than when I began! Any help appreciated! submitted by /u/Sea_Squirrel7999 to r/Makeup [link] [comments]

ISO a tinted moisturizer with SPF like the [widely discontinued] Garnier SkinPerfect BB Cream!
Hi everyone, for years I used the "Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream," which was widely available in most drugstores. I think it was like $7-12 dollars generally. Image/product description can be found here. I loveeddddd this bb cream, it had the perfect light/buildable coverage and smelled good and never pilled. It's recently been all but discontinued and I can't find it in drugstores anymore, only on Walmart dot com and it's never in stock either. Does anyone have a reliable dupe or similar product they could recommend? I tried to level up and get the Laura Mercier "Tinted Moisturizer Light Revealer Natural Skin Illuminator" with SPF, but it pills/looks cakey so easily even though it's such a thin and light coverage product. help!! submitted by /u/muychulo to r/Makeup [link] [comments]

Best sweat proof skin tint/bb cream/ foundation with SPF
With summer right around the corner, I'm looking for the best skin tint/bb cream/cc cream/ foundation that provides at least medium coverage, has SPF and is SWEAT PROOF. I'm usually dry but as soon as it gets hot I sweat like a pig so I need something with decent staying power. I'm also in my mid 30s so I'd like something lightweight that won't settle into my pores, fine lines and wrinkles too badly. Foundation that does well on my skin (recently) is the Wet n Wild Photofocus Dewy foundation and the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Serum foundation. submitted by /u/alliexdork to r/drugstoreMUA [link] [comments]

I am about to crash out!!! 😭
I feel like I have spent hundreds of dollars on skincare products, primers, setting powders, setting sprays & literally anything to fix this ongoing issue. I don’t sleep with my make up on. I wash it every night & do a milky toner, a serum & a night time moisturizer. I use a face wipe in the morning & then do a milky toner, gel moisturizer, the primer (feels like I’ve tried everything! Even the holy grail elf primer). I let each layer dry before moving onto the next & nothing is working. What’s worse is, once this starts to happen if I try to add even the slightest amount of foundation it becomes an absolute disaster & literally peels away the whole layer. What do I do?! Where am I going wrong. I’m at the point now where it’s making me more insecure to wear makeup vs. not because of how awful it looks. **UPDATE** first off, thank you everyone for some direction & words of encouragement! I think the reality is that as I’ve hit my mid 30’s, things “change”. I’ve went many years without makeup & after having my daughter 3 years ago I developed acne & it caused some scaring & resorted to make up. These are the products I grabbed today, I was looking for the IT bb cream but the color I needed was out. The versed was a better suited color for me (the elf was too peachy/pink). If anyone has recommendations for a more olive yellow undertone bb cream please share! • VERSED SKIN SOLUTION MULTI-SERUM SKIN TINT SPF 40 BROAD SPECTRUM SUNSCREEN • BYOMA MOISTURIZING RICH CREAM Tri-Ceramide • CAMO CC CREAM • POWER GRIP MATTE PRIMER • MORPHE ALL BASES COVERED set. I can’t add a picture of what it looks like after 3.5 hours but I am much more satisfied with how it looks! submitted by /u/LadyLuna_13 to r/makeuptips [link] [comments]

Pale folks please help with actual pale BB cream with spf recommendations
I've recently gotten into skin care (really obsessed with Korean skin care at the moment) so I've been wanting something more light weight than foundation for everyday wear so I'm experimenting in the world of bb creams. I'm ultimately looking for something with sunscreen/spf protection as well as decent coverage but everything that I try makes me look way too dark, even in the lightest shade they have. I'm currently using natio pure mineral skin perfecting spf bb cream in the shade "light" and while I do like how it applies, it's very dark on my pale skin and makes me look like I'm wearing fake tan so am in dire need of recommendations. information on my skin: combination skin but slightly on the dry side, occasional acne flare ups, quite sensitive, very pale. submitted by /u/MurderMistress to r/AusSkincare [link] [comments]

Anyone do this too? [2026 Stockpile]
Intro: I took this pic because I found myself wanting to buy so much back in december because of all the sales. But obviously, I only have one face, products have expiration dates, etc. So whenever I feel like I want to buy something, I can look at this pic and tell myself, “I need to use up X product first before buying something new.” Does anyone else do this too? To stop the buying urge. I don’t need to buy anything before June but the urge is real y’all. lol I’ll put my current skincare routine at the bottom or in the comments. Several products are same from my earlier [2025 Empties] post. Skin Type: sensitive, dry, dehydrated. hormonal/seasonal acne Climate: tropical hot humid ❌=WNR= would not repurchase ☑️=G= good, would repurchase if on sale ✅=AR= Already Repurchased CLEANSERS Banila Co Cleansing Balms - previously used Clinique’s take the day off balm and switched to this one a few years ago. loved it. cheaper and has a nice soft scent. highly recommend ✅ Bifesta Cleansing Balm (Deep Clear) - i prefer Banila Co over this one, but essentially it’s the same. slight pleasant smell, just as effective, no stinging. sometimes it’s half off so because of the sale price, i would definitely repurchase ☑️ shiseido d Program Cleansing Foam - check my profile for extended review. gentle, non-stripping, nothing too special. i would never repurchase at full price but if on sale + coupons, i may get it again in the future. ☑️ Biore Cleansing Milk - wanted to use this as a single step cleanse but it somehow stings my eyes ❌ Matsukiyo Cleansing Oil - amazing find! i saw an influencer mention this is very similar to the shuuemura cleansing oil but much cheaper. tried it and loved it. i probably finished 4 bottles already. check my profile for extended review. ✅ Biore 2in1 MakeUp Remover Foaming Face wash - i’ve used this for over a decade. tried and true. does not dry me out. ✅ Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil - I can see why people rave about this product. Effective, cheap, easy. The Matsukiyo one is cheaper though so unless this goes on sale, I’ll still stick with my Matsukiyo ☑️ TONERS Naturie Hatomugi Lotion - tried and true. on my second bottle. i like to layer this one or two times before moisturizer. then if i feel dry during the day, spritz some on my face ✅ EMULSIONS Naturie Hatomugi Milk - inexpensive simple basic emulsion ✅ d Program Moist Care Milk - my holy grail emulsion. ✅ Thick MOISTURIZERS Still finding ones that I like at a good price point. any recs without niacinamide? SUNSCREENS Biore UV Aqua Rich Essence - i like using under makeup but moving forward, i might not repurchase because the TONE UP version that i use daily is ok for under makeup as well ✅ Biore UV Aqua Rich TONE UP Essence - stay-at-home days, i wash face, apply emulsion, and use this sunscreen. i don’t reapply. it’s not sticky yet i don’t feel dry or tight during the day. ✅ OTHERS Sana namerka honpo VitE eye cream - this is my first eye cream. it’s a great intro product to eyecreams. moisturizing, thick but spreads easily and absorbs nicely. it didn’t improve my dark circles at all. i guess i just have to live with my dark circles. i might try the wrinkle/retinol version later in the year but for now, this one is a no repurchase❌ shiseido d Program acne spot treatment - i usually just get a couple big hormonal pimples and i still think ‘benzoyl peroxide’ is more effective for those single spot treatment. this one, however, helps with my tiny pimple cluster breakouts on the forehead/chin/cheeks. you know, to apply to a small area, not a single spot. it’s a clear gel texture and easily spreadable. i wont buy at full price but if it ever goes 50% off again, i’ll definitely repurchase ☑️ submitted by /u/seijurogouu to r/AsianBeauty [link] [comments]

Daily-Use SPF/Tinted Moisturizer/SPF Foundation/BB/CC Cream
Need a rec for a daily-use tinted moisturizer, cc/bb cream, or light foundation that contains mineral SPF, and offers light to medium coverage. I've used the Supergoop Mineral Mattescreen, but am hoping for something with more luminosity. Basically I'd like 2 in one--either a foundation/SPF combo or a tinted moisturizer/SPF combo. I also use chemical SPF, and I don't like to layer more than 2 products. Mature, mid-50s skin with sun damage. Thank you! submitted by /u/Ambitious-Serve-2548 to r/Sephora [link] [comments]

best tinted moisterizer/spf/bb cream for acne prone skin? help!
I have very acne prone skin (im dry but oily in my t-zone, and have tons of closed comedones on both sides of my lower chin under my mouth area, very, very tiny and deep blackheads on chin, forhead, and around my mouth, and overall very prone to texture) and im trying to find a new product to use. ive been using maybelline Dream BB Fresh and I noticed i was breaking out every time i used it, so i tried bareminerals complexian rescue matte, and it pilled with both my moisterizer options (laroche posay double repair and eucerin) and pilled with nothing on as well. After researching i was thinking of trying bareminerals complexian rescue non-matte, nars pure radiant tinted moisterizer, or nars light reflecting advanced skincare foundation. which of these should i go for, or should i go for something else? note: i dont use primer, only moisterizer and i seal with powder and spray. submitted by /u/bearintrousers to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Need bb cream/skin tint recs for someone with rosacea
I have rosacea and dry skin and I absolutely hate the feel of liquid makeup on my skin. I know it’s bad but I can’t even use sunscreen because it’s so heavy, greasy, sticky, and never dries down. I’ve tried so many and can’t stand it. I don’t like wearing foundation so I just use L’Oréal infallible powder foundation because it’s so light and covers well enough and lasts so long. Only downside is it’s easy for it to look dry and cakey. The only bb cream I’ve liked so far is the L’Oréal magic skin beautifier, but even the fair shade is way too dark/orange. So disappointing because it has the best finish and paired well with my powder. I currently have the Versed skin tint with spf that I haven’t used yet (worried I’ll hate it because of the spf) and I also have the physicians formula diamond bb cream that I haven’t used yet either. Any good recs for something that’s lightweight with more of a satin kind of finish? I find that products marketed as dewey/glowy/hydrating tend to go overboard. I don’t want full coverage, just enough to even everything out and something that will last a while and not transfer. TIA! submitted by /u/toast463 to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

low scented tinted moisturizer, CC, or BB cream with spf?
Total newbie here. I've never worn any makeup in my life. As I've gotten older my face has started to have more redness and unevenness. It's fairly dry. I currently only use a moisturizer and sunscreen on my face in the morning. I'm looking for recommendations for something lightly tinted with SPF to help moisturize and even out my skin a bit. I'm not interested in a whole makeup routine. I prefer things that are low/no-scent. Any suggestions on what I should try? submitted by /u/birdzwordz to r/40PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Recommendations for Korean foundation, tinted moisturizer with SPF, or BB Cream?
Ok I am totally late in the game. I did not know BB Creams are basically so 2010's lol. What is popular right now for Korean cover up that contains SPF? I'm so lost as to what people are actually using nowadays? I don't have time for social media so I'm like way behind. Please let me know, whether that be Bb cream, CC cream, foundation, cushion powder, pressed, etc whatever whichever is popular and good product please let me know. Mainly I just want it to have spf. Added benefits are a plus obviously but not necessary. I'm totally open to suggestions. submitted by /u/goingtofly101 to r/koreanskincare [link] [comments]

Share your best glow-up tips to end 2025 strong!
Warning: Very long post filled with glowup tips and tricks learned over the years, from women who have it all ;) We're at the last quarter of 2025. Let's end the year strong by sharing your favorite glowup tips, whether that's emotional, physical, or mental! Here are some of mine: Hair Invest in good haircare tools - Whether that's buying a worthwhile tool (Dyson/Phillips) or a wooden comb (Hua Mulan is my favorite), your haircare tools should be quality. Never scrimp on products that could potentially damage your hair (like an off-brand hair dryer!) Know your hair porosity - I have thick, wavy hair but I'm a low porosity girl whose hair feels instantly heavy or greasy with the wrong conditioners. Most people are low porosity if they haven't undergone too many hair treatments or if walang rebond/bleach. Then you'll know which conditioners are more likely to work for you Pre-wash hair oil treatment - Add any suitable oil to your hair (for me it's Jojoba or Sunflower) at least 30 minutes before showering, rinse it off with conditioner. Less frizz and your hair will feel much smoother. Skin Hydrating Toners - For girls with dehydrated skin (different from dry skin), layering your toners (at least 2-3 thin layers) will give your skin the bounce and dewiness it desperately needs. Mochi skin can be achieved by the right toner. (For me, Hada Labo in the white bottle is a good start) Sunscreen - Never leave the house without wearing it. Yes, even on rainy or cloudy days. A lot of Japanese and PH brands have perfected facial sunscreen without the thick, heavy feeling (Belo Dewy Essence is the closest we have to light, dewy japanese sunscreen!). Lightening Dark Spots/PIH - Cos de Baha's TXN is a true life saver and has significantly improved my PIH in a month. If you suffer from dark spots, also consider hydroquinone. Pick a routine and stick with it - The best skincare routine is the one you can consistently follow. You can start with 4 (cleanser, toner, moisturizer + spf in the day), and slowly integrate serums, vitamin C, and exfoliation as you go. It just takes time and getting used to Makeup A good eyelash curler - will change everything. Know if your eye shape is more round or wide, and adjust accordingly. Not all curlers are made the same, which is why they can cause your lashes to lie flat no matter how many times you curl. Shiseido creates different curlers for different eye shapes. Know your undertone - If your makeup looks out of place, too pinkish or too orange, it's because of your undertone. Know this and you will unlock the right colors for your face. Btw, lavender and lilac blushes look great on cool tone girls, while pinkish hues can look orangey. Foundation is thinner than concealer for your face - A lot of people use concealer all over their face, but the product is really meant to cover smaller areas, hence why we use it for dark spots/circles primarily. You'll achieve a more skin-like finish with actual foundation rather than concealer. BB cream also works. Sample often - Say no to blind buys, especially for expensive makeup. As much as you can, sample in stores like Look At Me (MOA) or at Rustan's. It will save you from buying makeup you don't use. A good color corrector - is one thing every gal needs, especially if you have dark circles. Skin Food, Pixi, and NARS all have suitable correctors. You'll know it's good if you no longer need to wear concealer/very minimal concealer. Falsies - Can up your game and make your eyes that much prettier. Choose based on your eye shape. Fox lashes suit longer eyes, while Dog/Puppy lashes suit rounder eyes. Perfume Signature Scent - So chic. If people compliment you often on it, or if you feel confident in it, it's a good candidate. But also consider the hot and humid weather in the Philippines, where caramel and vanilla scents can cause headaches. Decants and samples - Buy 1mL samples instead of bottles if you're not 100% you'll like the scent - it scratches the itch to buy, too. You can get 1-2 days of wear on a sample and know if it's for you Spritz your hair - Perfume that is lightly applied to hair wafts in the air very pleasantly; if you want your scent to last, spray here. Lifestyle Be serious, but don't take things seriously - Guy ghosts you after 3 great dates? Kick him to the curb. Didn't do your best at work? Laugh it off and try again. Be serious about your goals but playful about the means. Life is too short to agonize over people and situations that aren't meant to last. Less stress = better outlook, better looks, too! Incorporate movement - Walk a little everyday and do some exercise. Dance workouts, yoga tutorials, and at home pilates - all good. You need to find something you can tolerate. The skin glow that working out gives cannot be imitated by makeup or skincare alone Tea in the morning - Met a 40 year old woman who didn't look a day over 28. Her secret is jasmine and green tea or lemon with sea salt in the morning. It could be genetics, but I do it anyway and I feel refreshed. Full of antioxidants and the good stuff. Intentional Eating - Do you really want that triple cheeseburger, or are you avoiding confronting work stress? Do you want that bag of chips, or are you just trying to move on from a failed talking stage? Eating can be emotional - and if you can handle your emotions well, you'll learn when you're using food as a cope or as something to nourish your body Say No - Boundaries are everything. You get better at this as you get older. Say no to the extra work tasks. Don't be afraid to stand your ground if someone's making you uncomfortable. The better you get at protecting your boundaries, the more confidence you get and more alignment you'll be in. These are just a few of the many things I've acquired over the years. A mouthful, I know. But tiis-ganda is real, it is a work of a lifetime. Would love to hear your tips and tricks, too. xx submitted by /u/QueasyExamination7 to r/beautytalkph [link] [comments]

Looking for a bb cream/tinted moisturizer/spf that can actually be applied like a moisturizer
Help! I usually use Too Faced born this way super coverage concealer in cloud for foundation (don’t judge me the coverage is 👌🏻) and just got the It your skin but better CC cream in fair p/r and they are both great matches and I love them, but it is summer where I am and I sweat a LOT. It’s not worth it to take the time to buff out my entire face every morning. I’ve been looking for a bb cream/tinted moisturizer/tinted SPF that i can ACTUALLY apply like a moisturizer without it looking streaky and weird. I just tried and returned the Smashbox Halo Healthy Glow tinted moisturizer in fair but it was super streaky when I applied it with fingers and also too orange for me. I’m ultra fair with cool pink undertones. I prefer higher coverage but i really just need to find something with at least SOME coverage that I can apply quickly and easily with my fingers. Also prefer AB products but it doesn’t have to be! Please help! Thank y’all in advance :~) ETA I have dry skin and prefer super dewy AF or shimmery finishes :~) but again I really just need SOMETHING submitted by /u/m-hartsfield to r/PaleMUA [link] [comments]
