New to the bracelet game and figured why not try out a stack. Does this look solid or should I be aiming for more of a size contrast between the two chains? When I ordered the rope chain, I imagined it being a bit thinner than it turned out to be. Maybe bigger is better and I should be happy that it’s prominent. Just wanted to get some feedback on bracelet stacking and if I should be mixing up both chain type and chain width, or if the current stack with similar widths looks good. I know it’s a lot personal preference. I want to floss a little but not make it too gaudy. Appreciate any feedback or thoughts. This story begins with my husband being sweet and ordering a sapphire and diamond bracelet for me to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I, of course, was aghast to find out how much he spent on A. SINGLE. BRACELET. and turned that into the stack you see. This is my first dip I to the pool of rep jewelry and I tried out a few different sellers - Caratsky (previously reviewed my 16 stone ring from him), AC, Meng, and Vinko. Alhambra MOP and Lucky Spring bracelets Seller: AC Timeline: Jan 6 (reached out and ordered, paid in full), Jan 26 (PSPs sent and approved), Jan 27 (mailed out and gave me tracking number), Feb 4 (received it). There was a bit of a delay on DHL's side and I would have received it a day earlier if DHL wasn't running behind. Cost: $1489 (MOP) $1678 (Lucky Spring) includes shipping Quality: I mean, it's AC. The MOP has flashes of colors which my crappy camera skills can't capture, beads look neat and crisp, engraving is nice and straight, good weight to it. I don't have a store in my city to compare to the auth sadly, all I can say is these bracelets look great and I would happily wear them anywhere. AC was straightforward, gave super clear instructions, and kept me updated. Fuss free and I would purchase from him again. Perlee bracelet Seller: Vinko Timeline: Jan 10 (reached out and paid a 30% deposit), Jan 11 (Vinko set all the finalized details and asked me to verify sizing, etc were all correct), Jan 29 (PSP sent and approved), Jan 30 (paid remainder but Vinko only received the funds on Feb 4), Feb 5 (mailed out), Feb 9 (received it). Cost: $3654 including shipping with insurance Quality: THIS IS THE BOMB. It is weighty, it is beautifully gold, the lab diamonds are sparkly AF, the perlee beads are crisp and neat, I would wear the shit out of this. I am really blown away by the quality and yes, Vinko's price for the perlee was the highest of the sellers I asked for quotes on but I saw his work and honestly, it is worth it. Again, I don't have a store near me but everything is neat, crisp, detailed, I am a happy camper here. Vinko is very upfront with all the details on how to order, pricing, etc. I loved that they had me confirm my wrist size by taking a picture of my wrist with the tape measure. Vinko was also communicative and honestly fast. I would have had my bracelet sooner if wise didn't take 800 years to process the payment. Will 10000% buy from Vinko again if this is the level of quality, and if my budget will let me. Macri bracelet and JUC small Seller: Meng Timeline: Jan 7 (reached out to ask about the cost of the macri, Meng gave me a quote for both 14k and 18k versions, plus a rough timeframe of when it might be completed), Jan 8 (paid $100 deposit), Jan 8 (asked for a quote on the JUC and ordered, Meng didn't ask for any additional deposit), Feb 2 (PSPs sent and approved, paid the remainder), Feb 4 (Meng realized the address I gave her was missing my zip code), Feb 5 (mailed out with tracking number provided), Feb 9 (received it). Cost: CNY 16700 (macri in 18k), CNY 9500 (JUC), CNY 310 (shipping) Quality: I'm not super sure if the macri is hand carved but the edges are smooth and it looks great. I have never seen the auth in real life but the fine details of the stars around each lab diamond look great and honestly, I love it. Plus I didn't know of many sellers who does a macri rep and I wasn't ready to drop more money getting a rep version from Lili (to be fair, I think Lili's version is hand carved). The JUC is chef's kiss. The diamonds are sparkly, she got all the details right and I love it. On hindsight, I should have gone for a traditional/regular JUC because now I am freaking out about whether I end up bending it too much when putting it on and off. But that's me and not in any way a reflection of Meng's quality work. Meng's prices CANNOT be beat. I can see why she has so many fans. She's not the most talkative but she gets the details right and her shipping is beyond fast. She was super patient with my many questions and I asked her for quotes for other items I didn't end up ordering. She never lost her patience with me. For a first timer, it can be a little nerve wrecking ordering from Meng as she hand hold/have pages of instructions for you like the other sellers but for the price and quality, heck yesssss. Final thoughts: My bracelet stack seems haphazard but I'm happy with all the pieces. My foray into the rep jewelry world has put a dent in the bank account so I'm off to ban island. But when I'm back, I'm definitely eyeing a gr@f bracelet and maybe the bee bracelet too. Might try out Wenzhi and Li next. These two are my daily wear bracelets but and i love how they look in the first photo… but have some general opinion questions after seeing some photos. Size: looking at the second photo.. you can see how much they hang down. i’ve already gotten the rope bracelet shortened before when i wore it solo, but now that it’s stacked with the mariner bracelet, im debating if they both are just a wee bit big.
