Can I get free shipping on men’s outfit sets from popular stores?
Several days ago, I was browsing the Internet and looking at sets of outfits that men can buy and then I began to wonder whether there is free delivery on the Internet to the well-known shops. Initially, I used to think that delivery fees would always be charged, however, this is not necessarily so. Based on my research, there was a plethora of shops that provided free shipping on outfit sets of men at seasonal sales, special offers, or reaching a minimum value of orders. They also give free delivery to new customers on their first purchase, particularly on combo or matching outfits such as t-shirts, shorts, and casual co-ords. These offers tend to be time-based and thus time is of the essence. Browning through other suppliers on the internet, such as Alibaba, I also realized that most of them also offer free or discounted shipping, based on the quantity of order and destination, particularly bulk clothing orders. As far as I have learned, free shipping is not as rare as one might assume, though it typically depends on promotions, the quantity of ordered goods, seller policies. Shopping around, yet comparing shipping rates prior to purchase can certainly save the additional expense. submitted by /u/Sad_Reference8020 to r/alibabaqueries [link] [comments]

Are there any discounts available on men’s casual outfits?
Some days ago, I was browsing through men casual wear online and I realized that the discounts are now very frequent and particularly in seasonal sales and clearance. Initially, I believed that casual clothing does not go on sale, but that is not necessarily true anymore. Based on my research, numerous vendors have seasonal discounts, package offers, and a range of end-of-season sales on men’s casual wear such as t-shirts, jeans, hoodies, shirts, and sets. Such offers may be between 20-70 percent off through time and clearance of stocks. There are also a few combo offers that offer the ability to purchase outfits wholesomely at a reduced cost. Browing through the pages of various suppliers on the internet, including those listed in Alibaba, I also came across a myriad of suppliers and wholesalers selling discounted sets of casual outfits, particularly bulk or custom sets. As I have come to understand, timing of the season and the platform you use are also significant when it comes to saving the best price. I am still investigating, but yes--there are great deals to be had provided you are a smart shopper and at the appropriate moment. submitted by /u/Spiritual-Exam-3265 to r/askkalibaba [link] [comments]

How to Choose the Perfect Men’s Watch for Every Occasion: From Casual to Formal
Choosing the perfect men’s watch can be a daunting task, but it’s also an exciting one. A well-chosen watch not only serves as a functional tool but also as an expression of your personal style. Whether you're attending a casual outing or a formal event, the right timepiece can elevate your look and make a lasting impression. Here’s a guide on how to choose the perfect men's watch for every occasion. 1. Consider the Occasion The first thing to consider when choosing a watch is the occasion. For everyday use, a versatile watch that blends well with both casual and semi-formal outfits is ideal. Look for a simple design with a durable strap, like leather or stainless steel, that can withstand daily wear. If you're attending a formal event, a more sophisticated watch with a sleek design and high-quality materials, such as polished metal or ceramic, can add an elegant touch to your attire. 2. Match Your Personal Style Your watch should reflect your personal style. If you prefer a minimalist look, opt for a watch with a clean dial and a subtle color scheme. A classic timepiece with Roman numerals and a leather strap might be more in line with your preferences. On the other hand, if you’re someone who enjoys bold, statement pieces, a watch with a unique design and eye-catching details can help express your personality. 3. Orologi da uomo for the Perfect Balance When it comes to combining style and function, Breil offers a range of excellent orologi da uomo that cater to both casual and formal occasions. Whether you're looking for a refined watch for a night out or a rugged piece for daily use, Breil provides timeless designs that exude sophistication without compromising on practicality. The collection of men’s watches is designed to meet various needs, from the sleek and stylish to the durable and functional. Finally, always opt for quality. A well-made watch can last for years, even decades. Look for timepieces with durable movements, scratch-resistant glass, and solid construction. A good quality watch not only elevates your outfit but also ensures that you’re making a wise investment that will stand the test of time. By keeping these factors in mind, you can easily find the perfect men’s watch for every occasion, from casual outings to formal events. The right watch is more than just a tool to tell time; it’s an accessory that adds character to your ensemble and showcases your personal style. submitted by /u/erepresent to r/TheCreativeContent [link] [comments]

Where should I shop for affordable men’s outfits for multiple formal-ish events? (SD/TJ)
Hey all, SD local here here just not into the ' fashion scene' I’ve got a few upcoming events and realized my current wardrobe (cargo pants + whatever clean-ish t-shirt I can find) is… not gonna cut it 😅 I’m trying to put together 3 outfits on a budget (~$400 total if possible): Beach formal vow renewal Wedding (more traditionally formal) Yacht party tied to the wedding I’m a 33M, 5’7”, ~150 lbs and not super fashion-forward, just trying to look put together and not feel out of place around my partner’s friends. Looking for: Stores in San Diego or TJ Affordable options (sales, outlets, hidden gems, thrift, etc.) Ideally pieces I can mix and match across all 3 events I’ve seen places like Nordstrom Rack, Macy’s, and Men’s Fashion Depot mentioned, but would love any specific locations, recent finds, or go-to spots you’ve had luck with. Current game plan (open to feedback): Thinking of doing a simple mix-and-match setup like: 1 lightweight blazer (linen or similar) 1–2 pairs of chinos (khaki + maybe navy/black) 2 button-down shirts (one white/light blue, one more casual) 1 pair of loafers Then styling it like: Beach formal: blazer + open collar shirt + khakis + loafers Wedding: blazer + buttoned shirt (maybe tie) + darker pants Yacht party: no blazer or more casual shirt + chinos + loafers From what I’m seeing, this could land somewhere around $200–$350 total at places like Old Navy/H&M/Nordstrom Rack, which seems doable—but not sure if I’m missing anything obvious. Also open to: “Buy this once, style it 3 ways” advice Tailor recs that won’t cost more than the clothes Appreciate any help 🙏 submitted by /u/ummmlife to r/sandiego [link] [comments]

Seattle Center Armory concern…
Was at the armory under the needle the other day during a free workout class. I saw women all over with their mats and outfits ready to go. “How cool!” I thought! Free class! I go to use the bathroom inside and as I’m walking in, I see chairs all around the food court area. I begin to notice most of them empty but a few were occupied scattered around the perimeter of the class being held inside of it. I then notice men, alone, obviously no connection to the classes, a lot holding dead panned expressions with their eyes LOCKED in on these women who are dancing and moving and bending around. Immediately I realized what I was witnessing in the moment and my boyfriend and I were extremely revolted. One guy even had his hands under his sweatshirt doing god knows what. Another was filming with his phone. I looked all over for security and found none. I also noticed that the bathrooms in the back of the facility also had no security and anyone wanting to cause harm could easily find someone just casually using the restroom alone. It was too quiet back there. I think it’s great there is a class like this, but I find it highly concerning that random people are allowed to sit and watch in such a predatory manner with ZERO protection for these women. Some who are walking alone after class completely unaware. Just hope this helps someone if they choose to go to these. Please stay safe out there. **Editing because it’s not crystal clear for some: *This isn’t specifically about homeless folks. Anyone insinuating that is putting words in my mouth that aren’t there. They too deserve a safe place WITHOUT predators. **One man was actively masturbating. Hand up and down under his shirt type sh!t. The verbiage I used is to refrain from being vulgar as this is revolting for me to talk about… ***Another man was actively recording the class which isn’t illegal but is weird. WE ALL KNOW WHY ITS WEIRD. Hope that clears it up!! submitted by /u/Rootwitch1383 to r/Seattle [link] [comments]

Love and Deepspace's art director explained at GDC exactly how they design characters we fall in love with.
https://preview.redd.it/n3rwf8uqqlog1.png?width=774&format=png&auto=webp&s=63d2ee38d4aae3ba906189d1ae263cd0ea8ef2c3 So Love and Deepspace's art director Xianzi Feng did a talk at GDC this week called "Designing Crush-Worthy Characters" and our team was in the room. I need to share this because the level of intentionality behind everything in this game is even more intense than I thought. She laid out an actual psychological framework for how the team designs characters. Here's what stood out. They reverse-engineered falling in love. https://preview.redd.it/d2up8qjerlog1.png?width=774&format=png&auto=webp&s=81dd3cdd848c93c8c94b2b7a2b81bf43f4678aa1 Feng broke "love at first sight" into three designable components: Biological trigger — what you see and sense Cognitive resonance — the "he gets me" feeling Narrative projection — your brain filling in the gaps All three are supporting elements of a character’s total energetic impression — the thing you sense before you can articulate why. Feng’s slides used the term “Vibe,” though the Chinese term she actually said out loud, 气质, is closer to the full bearing of a person: posture, presence, the way they hold a room. These components support the impression, but it emanates from something deeper: Temperament, the core psychological traits that drive a character’s emotions, behaviors, and choices. “Contrast feeling” is the whole game. https://preview.redd.it/lprw7t3hrlog1.png?width=776&format=png&auto=webp&s=0d2c6a3e38bc219b701529ca67b840c22b9a9a98 Feng’s most important principle (and the one I think has the widest application) is that a character people fall in love with is full of contradictions. Not just “layered” or “complex” in the way every character brief claims. Specifically, contradictory. Cold and warm at the same time. Constrained and rebellious in the same outfit. She kept coming back to this Chinese term: 反差感 (fǎnchā gǎn), "contrast feeling." It's the jolt when a character breaks their own pattern. When the controlled one loses composure. When power goes gentle. She said they design for this on purpose in every character. Feng’s argument is essentially: contrast gives you novelty, and novelty begets attraction. The familiarity of a recognizable archetype draws you in (”I know this type”). The unexpected contradiction within it holds you (”but I’ve never seen them do that“). The gap between what you expect and what you get is where the emotional charge lives. The Spring Collection: Every detail is temperament. This is the part I want to spend time on, because the process itself is the craft lesson. For the Spring and Flowers seasonal update, Feng walked through her team’s six-step workflow: Theme → Impression Fragments → Core Temperaments → Enhance Temperament → Implement and Test → Improve from Implementation. https://preview.redd.it/x8bscdgkrlog1.png?width=752&format=png&auto=webp&s=805dbf50fa73d510f98e8495daa7f6b75ed6e6fc https://preview.redd.it/3rj9fc7mrlog1.png?width=940&format=png&auto=webp&s=e267801e91f17c2061a01dc8d8b0df04e7a5814e For the Spring and Flowers update, the first round of designs all looked the same. Five men, same fabric, same palette. The fix: stop designing theme-first. Start designing from WHO THEY ARE. Same chiffon and pearls, completely different energy per character. Xavier — pearl necklace worn loosely. That looseness reads as casual rebellion against his own royal constraint. They put character development in how tight a necklace sits. Rafayel — the spacing between his pearls is intentionally irregular. Designed to express a more lively, dynamic temperament. THE DISTANCE BETWEEN HIS PEARLS HAS LORE. Zayne — so you know how he wears a black shirt every day? For spring they gave him a delicate lace choker with layered pearl weaving. Elements he'd NEVER worn. I remember losing it when this dropped. At GDC the art director basically confirmed they designed it to break us. The slightly seductive charge has no business being on him. SHE KNOWS. But here's the detail that kills me. Even in this softer outfit, he still ties his shirt neatly and layers his necklaces methodically. Constraint and rule-breaking at the same time. This man!! Sylus — the design note for how he appears soft was basically "he wears it openly with full confidence." The art director said it like it was obvious. Because it is. Caleb — a two-tone metal and woven belt designed to express his dual nature. The warmth everyone sees and the strategic depth underneath. His entire character in a belt buckle. The wedding proposals. (I need a minute) Each proposal has its own entire world. Xavier under stars at Starfall Sanctuary. Rafayel at the sea god temple. Zayne in the Foreseer's library. Sylus in the ruined church. Caleb in a childhood wonderland. Even the rings are different. Each with motifs from that character's story. I go into further detail on the proposals and what they reveal about the design philosophy on our Substack: Read the full deep-dive here → --- Takeaway I keep thinking about what it takes to make a character feel like they could be in the room with you. The thing that stays with me: this team thinks about these characters the way we think about them. A trembling eyelid matters. The relief on a face matters. The distance between pearls matters. They care the way we care. And that's why we trust them. If you work in character design, romance games, voice AI, or fandom — I’d love to compare notes! (All image credits go to the amazing Love and Deepspace team. Bad angles are our problem entirely.) EDIT: Thank you all so much for the incredible discussion (and the gifts?! you guys are too kind 😭) Two things: Zayne girlies, I hear you! I've updated his section in the essay on Substack. Thanks for calling it out. (Got too excited and hit publish before doing him justice, oops.) I attended another session and have more to break down. If you're interested in a follow-up post here or on Substack, let me know and I'll write it up! EDITEDIT: Here it is! https://ihearamurmur.substack.com/p/what-love-and-deepspaces-creative https://preview.redd.it/gwqjvm6nlqog1.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=958dcdf729ca837d57d5bd27d31a03c14131371e submitted by /u/ihearamurmur to r/LoveAndDeepspace [link] [comments]

Looking for Fashionable Yet Affordable Men’s Clothing for University and Casual Outings
Hello! I’m currently looking to improve my wardrobe and was hoping to get some recommendations. Most of my clothes right now are quite basic, and I feel they may not be the most suitable for casual outings or university. I’m hoping to find clothing that is fashionable, comfortable, and affordable. I’ve seen many people wearing really nice outfits, but I’m not quite sure where they usually buy them from. If you have any recommendations for brands, stores, or places you personally shop at be it online or in person, I would really appreciate it. Online links would be great if possible! I’m mainly looking for suggestions for shirts and pants that would work well for university or everyday outings. Thank you in advance! Feel free to DM me if you are uncomfortable for sharing here!!! submitted by /u/Early-Environment-63 to r/ChillSG [link] [comments]

Question for the men: what outfits do you like or dislike for dates to wear?
I'm going on a date tonight and I was wondering what sort of clothes/hairstyles you gentlemen prefer for us ladies to wear, such as a skirt vs jeans or the glam look vs more natural? I don’t like showing too much skin but I like body-conscious clothing. Thanks! The date is at a casual pub/restaurant. submitted by /u/BeeDangerous190 to r/DatingOverSixty [link] [comments]

Reading one piece as a girl sucks (everything here has been said before)
im gonna start this off by saying this post isnt all that srs tbh i just wanted to ramble abt smth. what im about to say isnt anything new or revolutionar, so sont keep reading this expecting a new perspective, im going to be separating pre ts and post ts for the time being, since female rep between those two are night and fucking day, for the first half its gonna be post ts. first off, their designs, im definitely not the first or last person to say this but fucking hell, why is every woman either a blowup doll or putty shaped? even the *unique* girls like sandersonia or perona have this body shape, and all the women shaped like putty are either old, fat, or comically ugly. as a girl, i've seen many shapes and sizes, not all girls with a big chest have an attractive body, and not all chubby girls are exaggeratedly disproportionate, this might just be a thing with japanese media, but fuck, even other shonens have various bust and waist sizes, different proportions and faces. secondly, their emotions, i am sick and fucking tired of seeing so many women have that stupid angry nami face, after punching a male character in the head, genuinely khalas im so fucking sick of it, and they all look the same when theyre crying, and they all look the same when theyre smiling, its like hearing "im sorry" so many fucking times the phrase just means nothing to you anymore, it gets to a point i swear to god it just gets to a point, i could play bingo with all these character traits and win every time. - we have the shy and nervous girl : hibari, shirahoshi, pudding (although shes admittedly uniqe). - the sinister dominatrix : black maria, kujaku, sadie. - the kind and loving mother that dies at the end of a flashback : ida, sora, scarlet, toki, bellmere, banchina (had to google her name shes so forgettable), kawamatsus mom. - wild but sweet (keeps smacking men on the head with the grr face) : nami, osturu (wano), young ida. and you'll notice that I've mentioned two unimportant side characters from pre ts, thats because women pre ts actually felt like real people and not living caricature, real people with real clothes and personalities and interests and stories, the women post timeskip feel so predictable.. theres no one like perona, no one like camie, no one like vivi (except rebecca but she feels like a vivi ripoff), no one like robin, i feel like ive lost my sisters to time, like my sisters have been forgotten, they meant so much to me and this isnt nostalgia talking btw, ive only been into one piece for approximately two years, i can tell clear as day theres a bigass difference between pre and post. also, oda no longer believes in pants or casual attire for his women, current day nami wouldn't wear what prets nami wore, and vice versa, i own lots pf clothes that resemble namis and robins prets style but i think i'd get arrest for indecent exposure if i even thought about wearing a post timeskip outfit of theirs.. it feels less genuine.. i just cant connect to them like i used to and for the love of god dont come up in these comments like "why even complain this much if youre still gonna watch, drop the show, omg we've heard these before, what else is new, this is a shonen" maybe dont bother typing it out, i've heard before too yk submitted by /u/Spirited-Height-9533 to r/Piratefolk [link] [comments]

I (35F) went on a date with M23.
Quick disclaimer: I did not know the age gap was going to be so big. I thought he was late 20's, like 27-29. If I had known his actual age, I likely wouldn't have proposed the date. So, here's the setup. We met at an event for a shared hobby at the beginning of October, spent a little time at the event, chatting and getting pictures. We exchanged socials and had a little group chat going on Discord. He messages me privately, we start to chat, and it becomes obvious he likes me because he's flirting a bit and calling me all kind of pet names. I didn't think I'd spent enough time to get to know him and form an opinion if I liked him back so I propose a date at an Asian restaurant a little out of our way but I had been there before and liked the food. First red flag, he showed up looking like he came from the gym, basketball shorts and a plain sleeveless t-shirt. I let this go because it was a casual meetup but damn, is it too much to expect a collared shirt or button up? Next, he didn't compliment my look at all. I wasn't wearing a dress and heels but I at least tried to look cute with a nice outfit and makeup. Before you call me arrogant and self centered: the reason I was surprised was because almost every other message from him to me included a compliment like beautiful, sexy, cute, etc and when I got none of that face to face, it was a little strange in my mind. Next, he had no conversation skills. We were able to chat about our shared hobby but outside of that, there was nothing. I asked him about his job, his commute, his family, he did not return the gesture. I'm on Tiktok a lot and see a lot of women talking about awkward dates and a main complaint is that men only talk about themselves and never ask their dates any questions to get to know them. This guy was on that but he didn't even talk about himself. When we weren't talking about our hobby, it was just silent at the table unless I posed another question. This was mind blowing to me and at one point, I went quiet just to see if he'd pick up the conversational slack and we ended up sitting in silence for about five minutes until I started talking again. He was also in his phone a lot, texting and scrolling. My phone was out but it was face down on the table and I only ever picked it up to know the time. In fact, he took two phone calls at the table without even a courtesy of, "oh hey, I'm sorry, I have to take this, it's important." Got none of that! He just answered it without warning, I was looking at my plate so when he stared talking, I thought it was to me but alas. Neither of the conversations seemed important, at least from what I could hear from his end and I was just blown by the lack of manners. Obviously, I knew early that this was a wash but I stuck it out. I was grateful he just seemed awkward and unsocialized and wasn't spouting redpill rhetoric. We ended up on the same train for part of the way back and again, he didn't engage with me and was only on his phone so I did the same. When we parted, I gave him a hug goodbye, on which he lingered and I was lowkey terrified he'd try to push a kiss but luckily, that didn't happen. As far as bad dates go, it wasn’t horrible, just painfully awkward and a waste of time, effort, and money. I def should have asked his age beforehand. There's a lot of jokes about Gen Z and how they lack social skills and the like and this was a prime example. I know this is going to come off ageist but I seriously have no desire to be around or hear the opinions of anyone under 25. submitted by /u/ThrowawayFaye818 to r/Millennials [link] [comments]

Caught some flack for a business casual outfit and wondering if I misstepped
I was at a work event labeled business casual and got a surprising amount of comments on my outfit being "out of place" or something similar. I wore a fitted black button down polo (not athletic material or golf shirt) tucked in, light beige dress pants, a nice watch, nice brown belt, and matching brown dress shoes. It was a Friday afternoon event outdoors in Europe and 85 degrees as well if that matters. Almost all the women wore sleeveless stuff but 90% of the men wore jackets, and a handful of them made comments about if I knew what the dress code was. Nothing serious since it was just passing comments from coworkers but I found it a bit strange since I was always under the impression that a high quality collared shirt with pants and nice shoes meant business casual. Almost everyone at the event was American as well so it's not some European thing. Obviously next time I'll wear a jacket to fit in, but was my sense for what was acceptable off? Edit to add that this is pretty much the exact outfit https://i.pinimg.com/564x/9f/f2/91/9ff291c8ea41afc62c24f411f0ca9c58.jpg submitted by /u/rraddii to r/mensfashion [link] [comments]

Why do western tourists dress so weird?
I live in downtown Tokyo which sees a lot of tourists from all over the world, and when it comes to fashion I always see western (mainly white) tourists stand out. Africans, Asians and Middle Easterners will often wear clothes that are casual, but do not stand out, like long buttoned shirts, jeans etc. The women, especially those from Asia will look very fashionable with floral shirts, dresses, small practical bags etc. Then you look at the western tourists. They either wear outfits that look like they are going hiking in a tropical jungle, complete with oversized survival gear backpacks while doing city sightseeing, or they look like oversized toddlers in shorts, flip-flops and baseball caps. The elderly men usually spice things up by wearing a polo shirt. I have been to enough countries in Europe to know that this is not the normal casual wear, so why are they making themselves look so comical when they travel abroad? submitted by /u/Kawadane to r/TooAfraidToAsk [link] [comments]

Why is it broadly accepted that women can wear tank tops or sleeveless crop tops as a part of a casual outfit, but it isn't the same for men?
I've always wondered why women are allowed to show more skin than us, and what's the difference. What do you think, guys? submitted by /u/marcoespinosax to r/AskMen [link] [comments]

AITAH for suggesting my sister-in-law leave her BF after he fought me at church on Easter over my nephew’s outfit?
My sister-in-law is a single mom of a young daughter and 14-year old son, “Will”. She’s doing a great job but has expressed concern about raising her kids without a father figure, especially Will. He’s a good kid but easily impressionable. Over the last year or so, my wife and I have been involving her kids more. I’ve taken Will under my wing to show him the stuff he’ll need to know as he grows up. We’ve done car maintenance, fixed things around the house, and yard work. He really seems to enjoy it. One thing we recently talked about was the importance of appearance. Like most young people these days, Will wears a lot of hoodies, pajama pants, and flip flops. I took him shopping and bought him some dress shoes, button down shirts, khakis, and a suit. He was so excited for the suit and planned to wear it to church on Easter. He talked about it for weeks. My sister-in-law law recently started dating this guy named “Tyler”. I’ve only met him once, but Will said he was decent. He only recently met the kids and started spending time at their house. The four of them showed up to church on Easter looking upset. Scowls on all of their faces. They also looked like they had just rolled out of bed. Tyler was wearing wrinkled jeans and a T-shirt and Will had on a hoodie, flip flops, and sweat pants. My SIL and niece were dressed similarly. After church, I asked Will what happened and he told me that they had an argument. Will had just finished getting dressed when Tyler came over to drive them to church. He saw Will’s suit and made him change clothes because he was only wearing jeans. Tyler also convinced SIL not to wear the dress she picked out and to keep her outfit casual. Will protested and they had an argument all the way to church, during which time Tyler threatened to take give “those bougie clothes to Goodwill or some shit”. He also told Will he looked “gay” and “stupid”in his suit and that “nobody dresses like that”. I told him not to worry, and he could try out his suit later on, but boy was I pissed. I don’t really know Tyler but I fell like he was overstepping…..big time. He hasn’t been in their lives for that long and he’s already subordinating them and talking crazy. I got upset but my wife urged me to leave it alone. I didn’t. Since we were all going to dinner after church, I wanted nip it in the bud. I pulled Tyler to the side to talk. I don’t believe in arguing or embarrassing another man in front of his woman and kids. This was supposed to be a talk between us, away from everybody, to get an understanding. I calmly explained my concerns and he instantly bucked up, claiming that he runs that house…not me. I reminded him that they aren’t married and he cannot treat my SIL, niece, and nephew like that. It quickly escalated into a shouting match and drew a crowd of parishioners to the parking lot. It ended with him going to jail for assault (he shoved me into a car and I punched him in lip before we were pulled apart). I had no idea things would escalate as they did. It was embarrassing for everyone. But I don’t feel bad for standing up for my nephew. I’m not his father, but I’ve known him all his life. I don’t like seeing some jerk-off guy come into his life and tear him down instead of building him up. If Tyler was a longtime boyfriend or stepfather then sure…..his house, his rules. But this behavior is a major red flag. What kind of man is jealous of a child’s outfit and makes him change? What kind of man threatens to give away a child’s clothes and calls a kid derogatory names? And what kind of man fights at a church he’s visiting for the first time? I told my wife she needs to talk to her sister about her choices in men. She refused and said she stopped doing that years ago and made her peace with her sister not wanting her input. I’m not sure if SIL will take him back, but I told her that Tyler has displayed violent tendencies and she should reconsider her relationship. I’m not trying to control her or her decisions. I’m just concerned that Tyler may be a hothead. She says I’m an asshole for trying to tell her who to date and it’s none of my business, but added that she will do the best thing for her family. Whatever that means. My wife says that she is proud of me for standing up to Tyler, but thinks I did it in the wrong fashion. I think I did the right thing and Tyler was in the wrong. AITAH for how I handled this? AITAH for trying to give my SIL a warning? submitted by /u/623450 to r/AITAH [link] [comments]

Would it be disrespectful as a non-Chinese women to make clothing based/inspired off of dynasty period men and women clothing (casual and warrior style)?
I have seen really cool clothing in dramas and animated shows clothing based off of Dynasty clothing from China. I would love to experiment and sew myself clothing based of off these shows and Dynasty clothing, both casual and what warriors would wear. My question is, I don't want to accidentally be disrespectful to Chinese people. As a non-Chinese women, would it be offensive or inappropriate for me to make clothing based off of what men and women would wear in Dynasty times? Some examples include Hanfus (hopefully I'm spelling that right), and outfits based of off warrior outfits. What is a “casual” outfit for white men at a sales event?
Sorry for the dumb question, but I will be attending a dinner in a couple weeks for an auction and the attire is casual. Not business casual, it just says casual. How as a black man, my take on casual is a lot different. Normally don’t care about this at all, it I want to just blend in in regards to my attire. That being said, what are some examples of this. It will be indoor. submitted by /u/Thementalistt to r/sales [link] [comments]

After an intricate analysis I can confirm that the men's SEKAI Casual Style outfit does in fact make the guys' hips and thighs look bigger for some reason

Where did we go wrong with Men’s ‘business casual’?
Walking around the city is a sad state of affairs at times. It feels like as low as 5% of men dressing ‘business casual’ are wearing coherent outfits that fit them well. Otherwise the things I see from day to day in Midtown/on the subway are appalling. Sneakers with dress pants has been beaten to death, but these guys aren’t even trying to make it look good - just a shitty pair of Asics with oversized dress pants draping over them like a tarp. I just now saw a man wearing brown shoes with a black belt, many of these men are wearing dress shirts that have been tumble dried so many times they are barely holding their form. Rolling the sleeves of a long sleeve shirt all the way above the elbow. What is happening? Is this a result of forced dress codes and complacency from people who don’t want to conform? A lot of men also seem to default to the baby blue shirt w/ black pants but 100% of the time it’s ill-fitting. Edit - I’m learning more about rolling up sleeves. Still doesn’t look great to me but I guess it gets a pass submitted by /u/dontevenrlyknow to r/redscarepod [link] [comments]
