Fresh out of the hot shower (can’t give it up) and had a flare up. Never had such a lightweight cc cream that completely covers my rosacea flair ups. One half of my face is applied with less than a dot of the IT Cosmetics “your skin but better” cc cream and the other half is bare. So my skin handles the IT cosmetics cc cream very well. No outbreaks, good coverage, the tone is also quite good for me (I use "fair"). I only find it a bit matt and I remember that a few years ago they had also a more shiny variant of the IT cosmetics cc cream. So recently I got a sample of the It Cosmetics SPF 50 CC cream and I LOVED the way it looked on my skin— FOR CONTEXT: I have little to no texture, no visible pores, and slightly oily but mostly dry skin that I meticulously prep before putting on makeup! (NOTE: all of my skincare products are oil-free as per recommendation of my dermatologist) But the day after using this beautiful cream, red, inflamed, white heads appeared all over my nose as well as some under the skin pimples scattered around my face. These pimples are extremely stubborn and take multiple pimple patches to go away! It was hard to believe that it was the CC cream because it’s supposed to be GOOD for your skin! My concealer (Kosas) contains some oil in it but has NEVER done this to me. I fell in LOVE with this CC cream because of how wonderful it looked and felt on my skin, but I don’t think I can use it anymore. SO, my question is: has anyone with similar, more dry skin, tried the oil-free CC cream from It Cosmetics and would you recommend it? I am hoping it gives me a similar look to the original CC cream without the awful acne, but I’m scared it might be too drying for my skin.
