do you actually use crypto cards day to day or nah?
been seeing a lot of hype around crypto cards lately and curious what people here actually think. not the marketing version but real experience. for context, i’ve tried 6+ cards over the years. only one of them actually works for my needs, the rest were either too many hidden fees, trash rewards, or just got blocked at random. And even with this one i kept, it’s still not my main spending tool, even with cashback in Usdc, APY and a lot of other perks that traditional banking couldn’t provide you so: are you using one regularly? if yes, which one and what for. if you tried and dropped it, what killed it for you. or maybe you never bothered at all — also valid. just wanna see what the actual split is submitted by /u/mano990502 to r/defi [link] [comments]

Is using a crypto card actually financially responsible?
I’ve been looking into crypto cards recently, but struggling to see where they actually outperform a solid cashback setup. From what I can tell, the downsides are: potential spreads / hidden conversion costs every transaction possibly being a taxable event weaker protections vs credit cards (no chargebacks, etc.) Some of the newer ones claim: real-time conversion at checkout (instead of preloading) cashback rewards in crypto ability to spend directly from a wallet For anyone who’s actually tried both, is there a real advantage here? or is this more of a niche thing? submitted by /u/Opposite-Beyond6186 to r/CreditCards [link] [comments]

Why arent more people using crypto cards for spending?
Seems like obvious move for anyone holding stablecoins but adoption is still pretty low. Been looking into it because i keep usdt on hand and figured why not spend it directly instead of constant off-ramp fees. Infrastructure exists visa acceptance works cashback programs exist but when i search cant find clear answer on why uptake is so slow. Is it trust issues with the companies? cashback not competitive enough? tax reporting too complicated? people just dont see the point when traditional cards work fine? Whats actually the best crypto card in 2026 gonna be cause im done with exchanges
Been holding crypto since 21 and my new years resolution is to finally stop letting it just sit in wallets doing nothing. I'm tired of the whole routine, move to exchange, convert to fiat, pay fees, wait for withdrawal, then actually spend it. Feels like were missing the whole point if we cant use it like actual money Been mostly holding usdt and some btc but the friction of spending it has kept me just hodling. Now im seeing more options pop up where you can supposedly spend stablecoins directly at regular merchants without the conversion nightmare. Some cards let you connect external wallets and spend anywhere visa works which sounds legit if the fees aren't garbage the main things im looking for works in the us without sketchy workarounds doesnt charge insane conversion fees lets me spend usdt or btc without moving through three different platforms first actual visa/mastercard acceptance not some proprietary network nobody uses submitted by /u/AetherGripX to r/CryptoCurrency [link] [comments]

The real reason you have to order the Crypto.com credit card 😌
Last Friday I went out and I payed with it at a party venue. The guy behind me saw it and asked about it. He told me it’s impressive for a woman to have knowledge of how investments work, especially ones like crypto. Aaaand we have a date this week. I could imagine the reverse happening for woman too, if I saw a cute guy paying with a crypto card and myself being an investor too, its like having a really rare common interest. Crypto is such a flex for real, use it people! ❤️ Make profits and make love 🥰 Edit for the offended: A survey by S&P Global found that only 26% of American women have money in the stock market. Even less in crypto market. And even less in the European Union since it’s less common here. I would say 10-15% of European women has crypto investments. He meant that it’s nice that I belong to this small percentage. He did not meant that because “I have a small brain”, it’s a big deal. It’s simply because of the percentages of women involved in it. You don’t know the details. You don’t know how the talk went on, you just assume by one sentence. Which actually translated from an another language so it did not have the same meaning exactly. It’s not healthy to assume bad right away of an another human being. Don’t judge. I posted this with a totally different intent. To give you an example of how you can build relationships/friendships with a common rare interest. Just stop being hateful, I can’t really imagine why people are looking for a chance to spread negativity on someone’s happy post. This is the last time I comment about these “he is a sexist pig” replies because simply I don’t agree with you, I was there in person and you are simply making a big thing out of nothing. submitted by /u/sith_happenss to r/CryptoCurrency [link] [comments]

Your bank or credit card saying you’re not allowed to buy crypto is proof that you need crypto.
