Diaper bags
Anyone love their diaper bag? I bought a pottery barn one before having my son, now I feel like it’s been outgrown, not much fits in it and it’s like a duffel bag style. I kinda want to upgrade to a backpack style, since I’m always carrying so much stuff anyone have any recommendations?!

Check every thing that’s not a backpack/diaper bag and baby wear to ensure you have free hands for the 4 year old. Snacks and whatever entertainment for the 4 year old and all feeding items you need for baby easily accessible in the diaper bag. Gate check a stroller so you can have it for 4 year old until it’s time to get on the plane.

RE:Flying on plane with formula… Specifically curious about flying on Delta and TSA allowances.
@mcmama25, I just used a large backpack as her diaper bag and shoved everything in there. I kept it with me under the seat in front of me. I think they allow two carry ons for delta though but I would double check their website or call for clarification!

Diaper bags?
Now that we have entered toddlerhood what is everyone doing about diaper bags?? Are we still carrying the giant backpack? And recommendations for downsizing?? I definitely still need something to carry a couple diapers/wipes/snacks but feel like the giant bag is a bit much these days. Looking for an affordable diaper bag backpack
Every diaper bag recommendation I get being a $150 designer bag. No hate to anyonewho likes them, but I don’t even carry a purse most days, just grab my wallet and go, sothe idea of a big, fancy, expensive bag just doesn’t do it for me. I’d love a diaper bagbackpack that literally just holds stuff for $50 or less. Maybe there are extra featuresthat I don’t know I need but I can’t imagine I need much that a normal backpackwouldn’t do right? Any recommendations? submitted by /u/Formal-Wolverine4163 to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

Diaper bag recs
Looking for diaper bag recommendations without breaking the bank. We currently have an Eddie Bauer backpack that my husband loves, but it’s on its last leg, and it’s too bulky for me. Looking to transition to something more lightweight, since we aren’t carrying as much at this point aside from wipes, diapers, snacks. Major plus if it’s neutral and I can throw in my phone, keys, wallet and water bottle. TIA! submitted by /u/Feral_Goose7924 to r/toddlers [link] [comments]

Diaper bag for outdoorsy people? Looking for recommendations.
Can you use a regular diaper bag for hiking? Asking because I’m a new dad and while I know hiking is off the table for the moment, my wife and I are into being outdoors as much as possible and we plan to do this as soon as it seems safe. I’m trying to think ahead because it just dawned on me we’re not going to want to carry a diaper bag and the baby and a backpack. Or I don’t think? I’ve never done this before so hoping folks here can help me out. I’m hoping soon we’ll be able to start doing some light hiking and outdoor day trips. Is there a diaper bag that can double as a hiking pack or do I need two separate bags? Looking for something that’s durable and easy to clean. Organized enough for kid stuff but I really don’t want a baby branded one-off piece of equipment. I’ve considered getting a rugged hiking daypack and stuffing diapers in it. I suspect my wife won’t love that approach. Does anyone have product recommendations for something like this? submitted by /u/Critical-Worry8181 to r/ManyBaggers [link] [comments]

Best diaper bags you've actually used daily, not just for a week?
First baby coming in two months and I cannot pick a bag. Weeks of research and somehow more confused than when I started. Since I've been deep in the rabbit hole anyway, I put together a quick cheat sheet based on what keeps coming up across multiple subreddits, maybe it saves someone else the same headache: 🗺 Most recommended diaper bags (based on Reddit threads) 🏆 Best overall → Skip Hop Forma Backpack 💸 Best ultra-budget → RUVALINO Diaper Bag Backpack 📋 Best organization & style → Itzy Ritzy Boss Plus 💪 Best for comfort & all-day carry → Ju-Ju-Be Be Right Back ⭐️ Best premium pick → Petunia Pickle Bottom Meta Backpack Personally landing on the Ju-Ju-Be Be Right Back - the memory foam straps seem like a game changer when you're carrying a loaded bag all day with one arm occupied. Feels like the most practical choice for someone who's actually going to be on the move constantly. What I've crossed off: Skip Hop Forma people keep saying the main zipper needs two hands. With a baby on your arm that's a dealbreaker. KeaBabies too many reviews about chemical smell out of the box. Not with a newborn around. Béis Diaper Pack looks amazing in photos, weirdly boxy in real life based on what people post. Now stuck between Ju-Ju-Be BFF and Petunia Pickle Bottom. Both pricey. Also someone told me a Patagonia pack with a separate changing pad works just as well for half the price. Genuinely considering it. Backpack or tote? Does spending $150+ actually make sense or is anything under $60 fine long term? How long do you even use one before switching? Drop your bag and whether you'd buy it again. submitted by /u/LipNat to r/ManyBaggers [link] [comments]

Help me find my unicorn diaper bag
My MIL is in a tizzy because we don’t “need” anything for our second child. However, we never really had a real diaper bag with our first, so I’m considering letting her buy us one this time around.Money isn’t isn’t really an object (she recently spent $200 on one of my college friend’s baby registries and was mad at ME for not sending it sooner when more big-ticket items were available) so we can go with something bougie. Carrying needs: Change of clothes for one infant, extra pants/undies for preschooler, water bottles for preschooler and I (we mainly use a 12 and 20oz Klean Kanteen respectively), wipes, 2-4 cloth diapers, small fold up changing mat, a burp cloth or two in the early days, and snacks or lunch for the preschooler. Room to stash a ring sling or mei tai, and/or my preschooler’s onbuhimo would be a definite plus, but not a requirement - I can always wear it. Do NOT need: Insulated pockets for bottles/milk, incorporated changing pad I’d love something relatively stylish, that i could continue using once the kids are in gradeschool and carrying more of their own stuff, and that will grow with us to some degree. Crossbody or tote style highly preferred - several museums near us require bags to be worn crossbody or swung around to the front, so backpacks are hard. I’m more than open to suggestions for something that isn’t strictly marketed as a diaper bag, too! What’s working well for you? submitted by /u/unventer to r/beyondthebump [link] [comments]

Anyone here used a ranchero for a diaper bag? Seems practical…. We have our 3rd child on the way, and I simply want something that will hold up. Lost Green Diaper Bag / Backpack
Howdy, yinz — might be a long shot, but worth a try: Some friends’ car was broken into last night (3/13) and their diaper bag was stolen. It had a lot of handmade gifts in it for their newborn, so it’s really heartbreaking it’s gone. It‘s sage green and has pacifiers on the outside. Inside had a Very Hungry Caterpillar baby sweater, a blue blanket with monsters on it, a baby blanket with satin green ruffle trim and fairy illustrations, and other newborn necessities. Thanks in advance, hoping for a miracle! Editing to add on 3/16: Still hasn’t been found — we’d expect it to be generally near the Meridian complex, but wind might’ve blown it further. submitted by /u/more_avocados to r/pittsburgh [link] [comments]

Diaper bag recs?
Making my baby registry and I’m super attached to this one cute diaper crossbody tote bag I found but it looks like most “diaper bags” are backpacks? Just wondering if new parents found use out of diaper backpacks or if you found it too big for daily use. For ref, we don’t travel much, and expect most outings to be a couple hours/dinners/social events, not long hikes or adventures. Given this, do we still need a diaper backpack? Advice welcome on what you realistically use! submitted by /u/SampleRemarkable5572 to r/Buyingforbaby [link] [comments]

i didn’t realize what this bag was meant for!
i thought this was a cute backpack so I got it! but i looked up this product and saw that it was a diaper bag! i’m childfree and i really don’t know the first thing about caring for children… i still like the bag and i don’t see a problem with it. but would you please be able to let me know if you would read it as a diaper bag if you saw someone wearing it in public and whether you’re a parent/care for children or not? i’m just curious lol. thank you! submitted by /u/Immediate_Leg3304 to r/ThriftStoreHauls [link] [comments]

Unpopular opinion: Diapers bags are completely unnecessary. Backpack is the way to go.
My son is 15 months old and I have tried 3 diaper bags. They're heavy, uncomfortable (even the backpack diaper bags) and difficult to get anything out of. I have tried basic and premium brands like Dagne Dover and Away. I eventually pulled out a small Osprey hiking backpack. Super lightweight material. Drink holders on each side. Enough compartments for diapers, wipes, snacks, sunscreen, etc. Pregnant with my second and never going back. Anyone else hate diaper bags with me? Am I missing something? submitted by /u/cherrytoorange to r/pregnant [link] [comments]

Anyone else using a backpack for diaper bag?
We have an abundance of nice backpacks from 7 years working in tech. Like Timbuk2 and Osprey daypacks. Lots of pockets. Is anyone else just using a backpack for a diaper bag? Any organizating tips? I prefer something both of us are comfortable just grabbing and going with and I hate the idea of more bags. I don't see the need for a refrigerated section because I plan on EBF, and even if we do need bottles or snavkies later on. I can just use a smaller insulated bag. submitted by /u/SpooookySeason to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

What’s the deal with Diaper Bags?
New mama here due in July! 💕 Are diaper bags necessary? Can’t I just use an old, large tote (longchamp, neverfull) or backpack? I can’t tell if the new mama marketing is getting to me or if this actually something I need! I’ve been eyeing Mina Baie’s diaper bags (Stevie Midi and Emmy Midi) because they match my aesthetic and look the most practical for use after kids. But I can’t justify spending another ~$200 on top of all the other baby gear if it isn’t needed! Did you end up buying a diaper bag and was it worth it? 🤔 submitted by /u/__SandyCheeks__ to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

I’ve been given permission to get any diaper bag I want. Now’s my time to shine. Daddit assemble!
My wife and I are going to have our third child. We bought our first diaper bag with our first. And it’s alright. But I never cared for it. It didn’t expand very much. So if you utilized half the pockets your couldn’t even use the last few. It’s lasted four years with our first and second, but time to move on. I’m thinking of something closer to a camping bag that can expand as you fill it with more. With three kids I’m anticipating carrying more. Honestly I was toying with one with a frame but not entirely sold on that. So dads I’m asking, and any backpack enthusiasts, I need recommendations. What backpack should I get? submitted by /u/JustHereForTrouble to r/daddit [link] [comments]

Light packers, what’s in your magically small diaper bag?
Seriously, please share your secrets, how do you manage your toddler on an outing with a small and lightweight backpack? I’m generally an overpacker, and with a child it’s become 100 times worse, since he’s unpredictable and anytime I forget to bring something, shit happens and it’s the thing I need. Now I’m stuck hauling around a monstrous diaper bag, and it’s not even that much stuff in there? I do feel like I only take the necessities, they just add up quickly. Yet I see other parents gallivanting around with like a small purse on the mom and a barely-weighted backpack on the dad like they don’t have the spawn of chaos to keep fed, hydrated and clean-butted in the wilderness of the zoo playground. submitted by /u/kittyonine to r/toddlers [link] [comments]

Today's lightbulb... Instead of spending 3 minutes trying to explain which compartment the ________ is in, I will now be able to say, "It's on the orange pocket." Travels with twins leaves your hands full and that diaper backpack is a packed maze. IDK why I'm so proud of this. Merry Christmas!
