Is digital marketing worth starting in 2026? Need real advice
Hey everyone, I want some real advice about digital marketing. I am from a Tier 2 city in India, and honestly the salaries here are very low. I’m thinking to start learning digital marketing in 2026, but I’m confused. Does digital marketing still have a good future? How much do you earn if you are working in this field? Is freelance better than a job? Is it possible to earn good money from a small city? If you are already working in digital marketing, please share your experience (salary, growth, skills needed, reality vs hype). use chatgpt submitted by /u/ProfessionWide3505 to r/IndiaCareers [link] [comments]

Is Digital Marketing still a good career in the age of AI?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. With AI evolving so fast—content writing, creatives, ad optimization, even campaign management—it feels like digital marketing is changing almost every month. On one hand, it still seems like a strong career choice: Every business still needs customers Online presence is non-negotiable Skills like SEO, performance marketing, branding, and analytics are still in demand But there are also some real concerns: AI can generate content, creatives, and even optimize ads A lot of entry-level tasks seem to be getting automated The skill shift feels like it's moving from execution → strategy So I’m genuinely curious: 👉 Will AI transform digital marketing or disrupt it? 👉 Is it still worth starting a career in this field in 2026? 👉 What skills should someone focus on to stay relevant long-term? Would love to hear from people already working in digital marketing or transitioning into it. What’s your honest take? submitted by /u/Global-Adventures to r/digital_marketing [link] [comments]

What’s actually working in digital marketing right now?
Hey everyone, I’ve been testing a mix of digital marketing strategies over the past few months, and honestly, some things that used to perform well are starting to feel less effective. Here’s what I’ve noticed lately: Short-form video is still getting attention, but consistency matters more than trends Email marketing works better when it’s highly segmented (generic blasts are easy to ignore) SEO is taking longer to show results, but high-quality content still pays off Paid ads are getting more expensive, so targeting and creative quality matter a lot more One thing I’m still figuring out is how to balance organic vs paid without overspending or burning time. Curious to hear from others here: What channels are giving you the best ROI right now? Are you focusing more on content, ads, or partnerships? Any strategies that completely flopped for you recently? submitted by /u/Specific_Studio1181 to r/DigitalMarketing [link] [comments]

How to start digital marketing as a beginner in 2026!
I’ve been working in digital marketing for more than a decade, and recently I started my own digital marketing agency. Over the years I’ve worked with different types of businesses and platforms, and one thing I’ve noticed is that beginners often feel overwhelmed because the industry looks much bigger and more complicated than it actually is in the beginning. If you want to start digital marketing in 2026, the biggest mistake is trying to learn everything at once. Digital marketing is a very wide field. It includes paid ads, SEO, social media, email marketing, analytics, content marketing and more. The smarter way is to start with one area, understand how it works, and then expand later. A good first step is learning the basic foundations of how online marketing works. This means understanding concepts like traffic, conversion, funnels, customer journey, and audience targeting. For example, a simple funnel could be someone seeing an Instagram ad, clicking to a website, reading a product page, and then making a purchase. Once you understand this flow, many marketing channels start making more sense. After learning the basics, choose one skill to focus on first. Many beginners start with areas like social media marketing, SEO, or paid advertising. For example, someone who wants faster practical experience might start with paid ads on platforms like Meta or Google. Someone who prefers long term growth might start with SEO and content marketing. The next step is practice. Digital marketing is one of those skills where theory alone doesn’t help much. You learn much faster when you actually run something. This could be a small blog, a niche Instagram page, a simple Shopify store, or even helping a friend’s local business. For example, you could create a small page about fitness tips and try growing it with content and ads. Even if it doesn’t become a big project, the experience teaches you how audiences behave online. Another important skill is learning how to read data. Platforms like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and Search Console show you what people are doing. For example, you might see that 500 people visited a page but only 5 bought a product. That tells you something in the page or offer needs improvement. Good digital marketers spend a lot of time looking at numbers and adjusting strategies based on that. In 2026, content and creative thinking are also very important. Algorithms on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube reward content that feels natural and engaging. This means learning how to create videos, write good hooks, and present ideas clearly is becoming just as valuable as technical marketing skills. One practical path many beginners follow is learning a skill, building a few small projects or case studies, and then offering services to small businesses. For example, a local restaurant or gym may need help with social media or ads. Even a small project gives you real experience and something to show future clients or employers. The key thing to remember is that digital marketing is mostly learned by doing. The people who improve fastest are the ones who test ideas, analyze results, and keep adjusting their approach. Even small experiments like running a $20 ad campaign or writing a few blog posts can teach lessons that no course or video can fully explain. feel free to add any points ive left, and if you are a beginner i hope this helps ! submitted by /u/Admexo_ to r/DigitalMarketing [link] [comments]

Is digital marketing actually a good career in 2026—or just overhyped?
Everywhere I look, people are learning digital marketing—SEO, ads, content, freelancing. Some say it’s one of the best careers right now with high income and freedom. Others say it’s overcrowded, underpaid (for beginners), and full of unrealistic expectations. I’m seeing both sides. For those already in the field: Is it really worth it long-term? Or is it becoming too saturated? Honest answers only what’s your real experience? submitted by /u/divine_zone to r/DigitalMarketing [link] [comments]

Everyone says “learn digital marketing” — but is anyone still actually making it?
This is something I genuinely want to understand. Digital marketing gets recommended everywhere as a career skill, but since so many people are already doing SEO, ads, and social media, I’m curious if new people are still finding success. Salary structure was poor. Is it still a real opportunity, or mostly hype now? submitted by /u/Recent_Book6338 to r/DigitalMarketing [link] [comments]

How do I get out of digital marketing
Sick of AI, sick of SEO, sick of pretending the work I do isn’t parasitic garbage. I’m not even paid very well. I’m a copywriter, just turned 35, and got into this work because it was something I could already more or less do and I was much more cynical then; if someone asked me “you know the work you do is basically a scam right,” I would have said “hell yeah and these idiots pay me to do it.” It felt like getting one over on society, but now I just feel like a bum. Don’t have a ton of hard skills, but I’m personable and interview pretty well. I have some executive function and focus problems that are probably ADHD, but I’ve never been diagnosed and I don’t want to be dependent on amphetamines anyway. I don’t think they’re career killers in all scenarios, but they make me not want to be, for example, a big rig truck driver. My options, the way I see it: - suck it up and stick it out until my job is fully automated or civilization collapses (I don’t think there’s a realistic chance of doing this job in its current form forever, although I could be wrong) - try to find a writing job that doesn’t make me want to puke all over myself every second of the day (would like this, but finding it seems like a pipe dream in this job market, and I’m competing with every other poor sap in my position) - back to serving/bartending (I’ve done it before and I don’t mind it, just gotta make sure I don’t pick up a coke habit) - try to get some kind of trades job (I’ve worked construction before but only as a minimally skilled laborer, I don’t mind the hard work but I have little inherent mechanical aptitude) - work in some other industry (healthcare and law both appeal to me but I’m not sure I could hack it in either one) - let my high earning STEM gf take care of me (she has actually said she would like to do this but not having my own income at all sounds awful) -idk onlyfans? I’m not bad looking but I don’t think I got it like that submitted by /u/Infamous_Young_5481 to r/rs_x [link] [comments]

I run a digital marketing agency and have been doing $4–5K monthly
Hi, I run a digital marketing agency and have been doing $4–5K monthly with only 3 employees for a while. I’m now looking to grow and mentor someone as I have already worked as a trainer and TL and really love doing it. I started from scratch. I did side gigs, built slowly, and learned along the way. I’ve seen YouTube and Instagram gurus talk about easy ways to get clients, but there are no easy ways. It’s about consistency and building a few core skills. I’m looking to start with 3 people only. If you’re just starting out or doing freelance gigs and want to grow, let me know. submitted by /u/Careful_Context_899 to r/SideHustleGold [link] [comments]

PC market to shrink by up to high single digit percentage due to memory shortage in 2026;Nvidia-Intel partnership not for gaming but for server AI.
Source: Full Nerd Network (PC World) PC World interviewed a technology industry analyst and revealed some interesting points: Nvidia and Intel are partnering up for server AI because customers want x86. This is bad for ARM because it takes away share that used to be maintained by Nvidia's ARM server CPU. The partnership wasn't done for gaming because gaming and laptops are not Nvidia's priority and they already control laptop gaming through their discrete graphics. Analyst heard that another reason for lack of interest in gaming products is the decline of PC market by up to high single digit percentage due to memory shortage in 2026. Chip manufacturers are less interested in launching new products for PC because that is a declining market in the short run. E.g. Asus is going all in on AI. Conclusion: PC market about to suffer decline. Do not expect Intel to launch products with big Nvidia integrated graphics for gaming. Manufacturers are all turning to AI to chase the money. submitted by /u/JohnBarry_Dost to r/GamingLeaksAndRumours [link] [comments]

EXPOSED: SEC CHAIR GENSLER'S VANISHED TEXTS – The 2021 GME Squeeze Cover-Up And The Digital Black Hole Threatening Market Justice
MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD: DUE DILIGENCE REPORT ON SEC OIG FINDINGS REGARDING LOSS OF FORMER CHAIR GARY GENSLER'S TEXT MESSAGES AND IMPLICATIONS FOR GAMESTOP CORP. ($GME) TRANSPARENCY PUBLIC SUBMISSION FOR: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Justice (DOJ) From: [Agent 31337 - Job’s Not Finished.] Date: November 3, 2025 Re: Analysis of SEC OIG Special Review Report No. 587 on Avoidable Errors Leading to Loss of Gensler's Text Messages: Potential Implications for Withheld Communications During 2021 GME Events Under Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. § 552) and Securities Exchange Act § 10(b) (15 U.S.C. § 78j(b)) Classification: Unclassified - LIGMA I. Executive Summary and Purpose This memorandum examines the September 3, 2025, SEC Office of Inspector General (OIG) Special Review Report No. 587, which details "avoidable errors" resulting in the loss of nearly one year of text messages from former SEC Chair Gary Gensler (January 2021 to December 2021). The report attributes the deletions to a combination of mobile device management (MDM) system failures, inadequate retention policies, and non-compliance with federal records laws, recommending five corrective actions for SEC-wide implementation. The timeframe overlaps precisely with the January 2021 GameStop Corp. ($GME) short squeeze when Gensler oversaw emergency trading halts and NSCC collateral demands exceeding $3.7 billion raising concerns over lost records potentially relevant to FOIA requests on market manipulation, FTDs, and regulatory coordination. The OIG found no intentional misconduct (I call bullshit) but highlighted systemic lapses: over 500 texts erased during routine device wipes, with logs incomplete and backups unsearchable. This "groundbreaking" revelation SEC's first public admission of such a tech purge under Gensler shocks due to its timing amid ongoing GME litigation (e.g., class actions alleging collusion). No criminality is alleged; the facts underscore transparency deficits warranting federal audit. All data is from the official OIG report and SEC filings. II. Factual Background: OIG Review and GME Overlap The OIG review, initiated in response to congressional inquiries and FOIA disputes, scrutinized SEC's handling of Gensler's Samsung Galaxy devices from his 2021-2024 tenure. Federal Records Act (44 U.S.C. § 3101) mandates preservation of official communications, including texts on personal devices used for business. Gensler's tenure began January 2021, coinciding with GME's 2,500% surge and SEC's January 28, 2021, coordination with FINRA/NSCC on broker restrictions. Over 1,200 FOIA requests on GME (2021-2025) yielded submitted by

Coin Bureau is a brand owned and operated by a digital marketing firm. Guy is a paid actor. Everything about the channel and it's mission is astro turfed to feel "authentic" for the little guy. In reality, they are pushing on you a hidden agenda so they and their clients can make money off of you.
You might wonder why Coin Bureau doesn't play adds on their channel. How incredibly egalitarian of them, right? Wrong. Coin Bureau is owned by a company called V3 Digital based out of London. Guess what V3 Digital is? Yep, a marketing firm that tries to maximize traffic for their clients. From their website: " Your digital marketing strategy is incomplete without content marketing, which is why getting it right is always imperative. Our marketing experts are capable of tailoring content so that it engages your target audience at every stage of their journey. " " Growing your followers on social networks will help you increase word of mouth and referrals. We provide social media marketing services that enable you to reach relevant people, increase your following, make connections and drive organic traffic to your website with high success." Basically, the Coin Bureau channel is designed and curated to manipulate and influence your opinions on crypto for either clients of V3 digital or V3 digital itself. Essentially Coin Bureau is paid to shill the highest bidder. They want you buying their shitty hoodies and t-shirts while they cram misinformation and their agenda down your throat. TL;DR: Do not trust coin bureau. Guy is a paid actor who has zero technical knowledge. Coin Bureau is owned BY V3 digital, a marketing firm out of London that shills for the highest bidder. It is an untrustworthy source of information. Know you're being manipulated. Their "mistakes" are not mistakes at all. Rather highly focused and targeted marketing with the intent to manipulate your crypto decisions. edit0: link to v3 digital: https://v3.digital/ link to Coin Burea ToS: https://www.coinbureau.com/terms-of-service/ "Coin Bureau is a brand of V3 Digital" edit1: from /u/CrazyAsparagus below in comments Guy is not the founder or creator of coinbureau. Nic Puckrin, a former investment banker from Goldman Sach's is. Proof: "Nic Puckrin is founder of UK-based cryptocurrency news and education site Coin Bureau. He previously worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in London." https://venturebeat.com/2018/07/22/coinbases-big-week/ "Nic is the founder of Coin Bureau and is an Ex-Goldman Sachs Banker." https://unhashed.com/author/nic-puckrin/ Guy majored in English and is literally an actor who even acted in other roles and not someone with previous investment or technical experience.
