Yeah pretty sure that is NOT good for the dog to be hunched like that and pushing you. It would make way more sense if you had a harness on them and they were pulling you.

My late dog has been dead for 4 years now and I still have his leashes and harnesses sitting in a storage bin. I currently own a toy breed so none of my late dog's stuff works and I doubt I will own another medium to large breed for many years to come. I have a six month old 23 lb puppy who is a major puller and jumper and eater. Sometimes he gags because of how hard he pulls to try to chase a squirrel or reach another dog. I’ve had him for a little over a month and have been using a slip lead (recommended by his rescue) which two trainers have agreed with. I try to position it correctly under the ears but it always immediately slips down to his trachea. I’ve been wanting to go with a harness since day one but his rescue and trainers have strongly advised against any harness. We were at the vet this morning and the receptionist and people in the waiting room were saying I should get him a harness because he’s likely hurting himself with the slip lead. I’m not sure what to do. Does anyone have harness suggestions that can still be useful for training? Hello! I just took my dog to the vet and he has a collapsing trachea that he’s gonna be on medication for. Was wondering if you guys have any recommendations on harnesses, he does tend to pull which is probably one of the reasons besides his mild bronchitis. 💔Owner caught dumping her with an injury & the police don’t even care. Please help us find her a hero asap. 3 year old sweet girl was picked up shortly after her owner was caught on camera dumping her out of his red Chevrolet Silverado between Polk & Up The Grove St in Greenville on Monday around 2:05pm CST. She ran after him in her service dog harness & to house w/📸, jumped up & scratched their car, then scratched the front door begging for help.. She has a big gash on top of her head, which shelter doesn’t have a vet or meds to treat. She is the sweetest & doesn’t deserve this. The police don’t care to locate the POS who dumped her, but please help us find him.. she deserves justice.
