I’m a Black person ( 😩🥳) with a golden retriever and one too many times a non-Black person will make a comment about how shocking/ interesting it is that I have a golden retriever because, “Black people don’t have golden retrievers.” I even had a coworker joke about it and when I asked them to elaborate, because I knew the answer would inherently be rooted in some weird stereotype, they didn’t really have a response besides, “most Black people have pit-bulls.” Leave me and my baby alone🙂‍↔️. You need a phone with at least a terabyte of storage for all the pictures you will take of them being precious (literally just sleeping) They are filled with unconditional love and adoration for you, but would also not hesitate to sell you for a stuffy, squeaky, or cheese. Speaking of cheese. Be prepared for the cheese tax. It increases weekly. Some states may have a deli meat tax that is just as, if not more costly. Your heating bill may decrease due to increased snuggles, but your vaccuum bills will skyrocket due to tumbleweeds of that beautiful fur. You will not win a staring contest, especially if walkies or potties are desired. Their eyes have a special nerve specifically to bore into your soul. Its science. They will retrieve everything and anything BUT gold. This includes: socks, underwear, shoes, umbrellas, potatoes, bags of clementines, etc. They will attempt to retrieve squirrels but fail dramatically, all the while the squirrels are mocking you and your dog for lack of hunting instinct. Its devastating and hurtful to pride. I've been laying low since october/November when this first blew up. So my friends and sister told me na to deacc all accounts, lalo na sa X coz sobrang lala ng hate sakin and being doxxed. Ayaw ko naman madamay fam ko sa ginawa ko right? So yeah, I deleted my twt and removed my username sa ig (which ginamit ngayon ng poser but apparently wala na, but dadaan din tayo dyan) Akala ko nga this wouldn't blow up ng sobra pa kasi natabunan ng issue ni Maris/Anthony, so I was like kinda happy kasi this issue wouldn't escalate anymore. BUT OH BOY I WAS WRONG AS LUMALA PA SYA, like someone made a hate account under my username dati. And it started with posting of my clips and segments, with my face ridiculed as its profile. It started around first week January when meme pages na I follow, started to post me once again. I was like "grabe binubuhay na naman nila." In a week, super trending na naman sya and some folks could recognize me na. And meme pages started to do their thing on me, as well as content creators. Like imagine mga fav content creators ko like paoLUL and razzie, dating pinapanuod ko then now kinocontent ako. So since then, humiwalay ako ng slight sa social media. Ofcourse as someone who isn't really used to being known, lalo na on a negative light, is very stressful and taking a toll on my mental health. So as weeks go by, nagpapakabusy lang ako sa work and sa fam because sila lang naman mahalaga sakin. Huwag lang madamay yung mga hindi dapat, it's all good. I have a good CoF, and mga guys sa batch ko to back me up when stuff hits the fan na nandyan for supporting me. So lately lang, I've had some courage to face all of these kasi: work projects na polishing nalang friends encouraging me to address something my poser is being active and apparently nareport na yung account nya. as of me writing this down, the account is down. i would like to say that his sentiments are not exactly the same as mine, but kinda same. So here comes the AMA part, where if you want to ask something about me, about the show or just saying stuff to criticize. I don’t like Golden Retrievers, with the exception of one who is a service dog. I just do not get the hype about them. They have far too much unfocused energy, they’re usually trainable (most golden owners do not train them) but dumb as rocks, they’re now overbred due to their popularity, they’re usually very vocal when they don’t want to do something, they’re typically very demanding, they have shitty hair, they need constant attention, they’re very high energy, and they’re just overall boring personality wise. Most people think I am a monster for having this opinion, but I generally prefer working breeds or small true companion breeds. *Now please don’t get me wrong, I work with dogs and just because I do not prefer a breed does not mean I treat them any differently. They still deserve the same level of care and treatment as every other dog, I’m just going to take the Border Collie over the Golden every time. **To respond to a the point about high energy breeds, I don’t like golden energy, I like herding energy. I love high energy dogs, but I like focused energy. It’s also the high unfocused energy in combination with all the other golden traits that I do not enjoy.
