Diapers?! Problems with Huggies [CA]
Need a new diaper recommendation! HUGGIES Every time I order Huggies they’re different. The last box of little snugglers size 1 I got had blue on the inside and I’ve heard those are causing rashes. The next box I got has a different pattern (no dots) and smell like permanent marker. I can’t stand not knowing if I’m going to get a good box or a bad box. I could try their skin essentials version? PAMPERS Scented. I don’t want fragrance on my baby … and I can’t stand the smell. MILLIE MOON/Rascals Very soft and aesthetic pattern is a bonus. But they’re not as easy to get and are way too bulky on my slim baby. Blow out up the back, front and legs. Still a wrestling match with some screams 90% of the time for us too! I started using the Huggies 360 diapers because you just slide them up and that saves my sanity a little. RE:Overnight
We had a similar problem and the thing that helped us was the pull-up style diapers (like Huggies 360). The waistband pulls up a lot higher than the diapers with Velcro straps, and holds in the pee a lot better while stomach sleeping. Hope you find something that works!

If you also have a toddler who is 99 percentile what diapers are you in now? I've had my son in huggies skin essential but he seems to be getting too tall for them and now has started waking up wet. they dont make his diapers in a bigger size. Huggies vs Pampers?
My daughter (3months as of today) recently “graduated” from newborn to Size 1 diapers. While we found Huggies and Pampers pretty much on par in the newborn size, it seems like the size 1 Huggies are not lasting as long, compared to Pampers (or the newborn size for that matter). She seems to get uncomfortable in them when only a small part of the indicator strip has gone blue. This surprises me as Huggies are generally considered to have a greater absorption capacity. Has anyone had a similar experience or could we have gotten a defective batch? Addendum : What I’ve noticed with Huggies is not so much that they the absorption is poor, but that when the lining is exposed to moisture it puffs up and gets lumpy. Pampers actually seem a little damper, but absorption is more diffuse. Which is unfortunate, because I agree with everyone saying Huggies offer superior blowout prevention. submitted by /u/lilgreycell to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

Huggies skin essential diaper warning
Today while changing my son’s diaper, I found my son’s lower belly and crotch area all scratched up and red. It was bad and red marks were obvious. I inspected the diaper, and I could touch multiple tiny and kind of sharp objects inside the diaper (front part where it touches lower belly). It was hard to find them at first but after couple tries, I could find them. These were tiny and invisible. My son’s belly looks so scratched up and red it breaks my heart. Please inspect your baby’s diaper after opening a new box. Run through your hands on diapers even though you don’t see anything. There might be tiny stuff hidden 😡😳 submitted by /u/Ok_Contribution_9935 to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

Huggies + did NOT work. What is your favorite diaper?
EDIT: Thank you all! I will try Huggies size 2. He honestly does great on Coterie 1 AND 2. We have a road trip coming ip so he will be on Coterie 2. We are running out of diapers we were gifted, so I will give some of your recommendations a try! TYSM Huggies diapers have been absolutely horrible for us. Walmart—-did you know?
Just came across this group today and wanted to share what my father learned years ago about Walmart. Background: my father designs specialized forklift attachments ( picture having to change a wheel on a bullet train quickly). When he was in companies making everything from diapers to batteries to the laundry detergent he discovered that every single company makes the Walmart runs separately from the stuff heading to the local grocery store. In order to make the profit at what Walmart will pay all these companies reduced the “amounts” going into the product. Pallets of Huggies going to Walmart weighed 800lbs less than normal. Tide is 25% water vs 10% even lithium batteries that normally last 60 min in your emergency flashlight will only get 40min run time.(I’ve tested this one several times). The packaging stays the same but the customer isn’t really getting the great savings they believe they are. Just another reason to avoid them. They also love effing over farmers. Walmart will wait until they know a farm is selling almost exclusively to them and then lower the purchase price offer by a huge amount knowing the farm cannot find another buyer for 25 tons of green beans before they go bad. Pure evil company. Edit: Walmart will wait until the next season/harvest to drop the buying price knowing the farmer will struggle to find another buyer. I called my friend to ask how it went down. These farmers are already 100k in the red before Walmart pays and the farmers have to except or risk ruin. submitted by /u/armedsquatch to r/Anticonsumption [link] [comments]

Huggies new diapers with blue lining?
Edit: thank you for all the comments, glad to see I'm not imagining this. At the moment our little one wakes up with oee soaked clothes every morning. We're checking different brands but can't find anything good (open for recs!) !!!Please take a moment to email Huggies customer service. I've reached out and they are maintain that nothing has changed just the wasteband but i don't think that's true. Maybe if they get enough complaints they'll reverse the change We've been getting the Huggies diapers at Costco for years now and they're great, this last box we got is suddenly different, the diapers have blue lining and the stretchy part is much flimsier. Suddenly the diapers don't last through the (very short newborn) night (8 ish hours) and the pee leaks all over Is anyone else experiencing this? Am I a bad mother for using Huggies?
Hi everyone - I have been driving myself insane trying to find a diaper that works for my sensitive baby. I’ve tried Millie moon, pampers pure, Dyper, Coterie, HealthyBaby, Bambo Nature, Pura, Parasol, and a couple others that I can’t remember at the moment. All of the diapers listed above either didn’t absorb well, irritated my baby, or didn’t fit her right. We were using Kirkland diapers because those worked for her best but they recently changed manufacturers and are totally different. Huggies is the only diaper I’ve found that works for her now(absorbs well, fits well, doesn’t irritate her) but it makes me super upset because I know there’s bad things in them. They aren’t TCF and I just can’t find a TCF diaper that works for my baby… Am I a bad mom for just sticking with Huggies? Are there any other diapers you guys recommended I should try? Edit: Thank you guys so much for your reassurance. I realized I would never ever judge another mom for their diaper choice, so maybe I’m being too hard on myself. Huggies it is :) submitted by /u/Mindless-Pack-9280 to r/moderatelygranolamoms [link] [comments]
