Got myself Loreal tinted serum and Insight skinTint
Good day beauties! Recently got my hands on this inside tint so I thought why not make a review comparing both. Loreal Infallible tinted serum (6-7): - it's got a serum like texture, like how they advertise it to be so 9/10 for the texture. - shades, they have limited shades but they do have plenty in the international market but if you're someone who's skin tone/shades fall under medium tan or even tan you can go for this. 7/10 - undertone 8/10. So I have a neural undertone and my mom has a olive/warm undertone and she's a shade lighter but since the tint is sheer and light coverage it didn't feel out of place. - coverage 9/10. Got a sheer to medium coverage (buildable) - packaging 6/10, since it's called a 'serum' they literally put it in a serum kinda package 😑 like WHY??. Could've given a pump kinda package. It makes me feel ick if it gets smudged on the sides a bit. - oily/combination skin friendly 8/10. Been using this for a month and didn't get any breakouts and it's not cakey after awhile. (Tho it might melt in high humidity and heat). - stay 9/10. It stays for 8+ hrs for me. Insight skin tint (6): - texture 9/10. Feels like a liquid foundation - coverage 9/10. It's got a medium to full coverage (buildable) -Shades 9/10. They have very good range of shades! For rich skin tone girls please try this one. - undertone 8/10. I tried 5,6&7 and I think 2 of them suited my shade and it oxidises a little and settles, 5 was a cooler tone and 6 was leaning towards warm. - packaging 7/10. 😭 It gets messy like why not give a tube one instead of a spot treatment package? The cap gets messy (I have OCD so I take my sweet time closing it without making a mess) - stay [will update by evening] P.S. I'm not a professional so I might not know the exact word to describe things please feel free to ask questions. Edit : it's been 8hrs and I have Swatched both on my hands to check how it oxidises and how long it stays. So loreal kinda sets a bit after application and stayed till now even with rubbing it's still there as it is. Insight one became light and I think half the product disappeared 😅 but I can still see it. Both of them are good and they didn't give any patchy look in heat and humidity. submitted by /u/CodeNeko23 to r/IndianBeautyTalks [link] [comments]

My wear tests of my dupe for the Clarins Double Serum Foundation are complete ... for those interested, here are my results and final thoughts!
Hi - I'm back. Yes, I should have reported back earlier in the week. I deserve a little wrist slap. I did, however, manage to squeeze in several wear tests for my dupe of the new Clarins Double Serum Foundation. Better late than never - for those who wanted to know from my earlier post on the subject, the following is my experience mixing in the L'Oreal Le Duo Serum with my existing bottle of Maybelline Lumi-Matte Foundation in shade 128 (a little too dark and yellow, but my closest shade match in the range). I paired this with my trusty tube of NYX Bare with Me Serum Concealer (shade Medium Vanilla, a little light & pink but my closest shade match in the range). I typically like to wear a neutral yellow or neutral golden shade like Luminous Silk in Shade 4 or Lisa Eldridge in Shade 11 for my closest shade match. I have some yellow undertones in my skin, and find that yellow, golden or warm olive undertones suit me well as they can neutralise the redness in my skin that occurs from flushing and acne. Disclaimer: how this mixture wears will depend entirely on your skin care base. To keep my results consistent across my wear test days I stuck to a minimalist routine of a hydrating toner, eye cream, Le Duo Serum, moisturiser and sunscreen every day. I did not use primer or set with powder. Day 1: I mixed one pump of Le Duo Serum with one pump of Lumi-Matte. This gave me a sheer, my skin but better coverage. This was just enough to neutralize the redness in my skin and provided a very light layer of coverage. This perfected my skin & you couldn't necessarily tell I was wearing anything. I thought this would be my perfect combination straight out of the gate, but it was not. I had no issues with this wear test, but as my skin is still oily even in winter, I did turn from glass skin to glazed-donut-in-the-microwave around 6+ hours. Sponging over it lightly with the same sponge used to apply it in the morning with no extra product turned out to be a great way to take off the extra shine, even if I did lose a whisper of coverage in the process. Day 2: On this day, I took inspo from the original Clarins product and mixed one pump of serum with two pumps of foundation. If I wanted more medium coverage, this would have been my perfect base day. However, when I applied my lip colour I could tell by looking at the skin around the border of my lips that the shade match I was wearing was a little too yellow and a little too dark. I didn't notice that the previous day when to coverage was much more sheer. I may have liked this day more with a better shade match, but this was probably my least favourite day. My base still wore incredibly well, it was just too much coverage for my liking. Day 3: This was the day I had the brainwave on how to achieve my perfect mix of coverage and a better shade match. Because my NYX concealer was a little light and a little pink, and my Maybelline foundation was a little dark and a little yellow, I decided to mix a dab of the concealer in with my foundation to lighten it up and neutralise the yellow undertones to more of a neutral gold. I mixed one pump of Leo Duo serum, one pump of Lumi Matte and a dab of NYX Bare With Me for my foundation, and a dab of NYX Bare With Me on it's own for my under eyes. Oh. My. This truly was my perfect day. My skin was luminous, healthy looking and had a light level of coverage that perfected my complexion whilst still allowing my natural skin to show through. I had a meeting with The Big Boss on this day, and she complimented me on how well I looked. That was enough for me. This may be my perfect winter skin. I loved this look so much I rushed out and bought a back up of the Le Duo serum while it was still half price at Priceline, even though it will probably take me forever to get through the bottle I have. I wasn't reaching for my Lumi-Matte or my NYX Bare with Me of late, so this will encourage me to use them more. I am absolutely thrilled with this combination, throw on a lick of mascara and some lip tint and I am good to go for the day. This look is so fast and low maintenance, I love it. Before I wrap up my final thoughts, I do have some notes here - you probably don't need to buy the Le Duo serum to get this look. If you have a facial serum with glycerin, and a liquid highlighting base product like L'Oreal Lumi Glotion, you could probably mix those two products together with a pump of your foundation to get a similar effect. However, the Le Duo serum is a hella convenient way to get both in one product, especially if you can grab it for $36 on sale. Final thoughts: Uhhhh ... yeah. I can stop looking. I mean I probably won't, but I COULD in theory. My Day 3 combination was so lovely and looked far more expensive than it actually was to achieve. If you are in a mind to try something new for winter, please consider the Le Duo serum & foundation combination. I also feel much better on passing on the Clarins foundation, as Robert Welsh posted a video of his worst make up purchases earlier this week. And what product is featured in his thumbnail? The Clarins Double Serum Foundation. The irony! Admittedly, I did not actually watch Robert's video. The thumbnail was enough to gratify my ego. Regardless - my kettle boiled it's last this week, and because I refrained from buying the Clarins foundation I had enough money left in my budget to spring for a new one just in time for peak cup-of-tea season. Happy make up adventures all! XO submitted by /u/phantompath to r/AustralianMakeup [link] [comments]

I didn't want to pay $95 for the Clarins Double Serum Foundation so I went home to MacGyver something together ... this is what happened.
Hi. Hello. I know you are used to hearing from me regarding hair care, but today I wish to speak on the subject of lust. Specifically, the lust for a new foundation. But first - a little backstory. I used to have hideously oily, acne prone skin. To the point where I'm surprised BP or Caltex didn't turn up wanting to investigate my face as a future drilling site. Which is a shame, because I could have used the money quite frankly. My skin was so oily throughout my 20's that I could only use powder foundation, as a liquid foundation would get broken down and destroyed within a couple of hours of application. Anyway. I started using a prescription retinoid (tretinoin 0.05%) in my early 30's for my acne. It also served the purpose of drying my face out just enough to allow me to go hog wild in the world of liquid foundation. Fast forward five or so years and now I'm on tazarotene 0.1% cream that I have to have compounded by a specialist pharmacy in QLD. Combine somewhat drier skin and the encroaching winter months, and I began to lust after my dream winter skin foundation. Light coverage. Practically glossy with dew. Just enough pigment to even out my skin tone and reduce any redness. I wanted the sort of skin that speaks of a relentless skin care routine, adequate water intake and what is undoubtedly a luxury foundation. Except I'm supposed to be fiscally responsible this month. Which is what made my trip to Myer today to pick up some Click & Collect so hard. I saw it. The object of my lust and desire. The Clarins Double Serum foundation. Gag me, I wanted it BAD. But I didn't even let myself touch it. I knew sampling a little pump on the back of my hand would lead to shade matching, and shade matching would lead to buying. I walked past the display as fast I could, and probably seemed quite rude to the sales ladies who were trying to offer me samples of some sort of perfume. I'm sorry ma'am - I just had to flee from the siren song of temptation. I was picking up another Click & Collect order in Priceline (stocking up on my beloved Garnier Pineapple Hair Drink after I used up my last bottle) when the inspiration struck. I have been trialling the L'Oreal dupe for the Clarins Double Serum for a week or so after picking it up in a half price sale at Priceline. I could always try mixing it with my foundations at home to see if it gave me the effect I was looking for. I won't lie - I didn't RUN home. But I certainly did power walk. I got home, put my shopping away and grabbed a few supplies - the L'Oreal Le Duo Serum, my bottle of Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte foundation in the shade 128 and my little pump tube of NYX Bare With Me Concealer in the shade Medium Vanilla. I cracked open my bag of Shop Miss A beauty blenders for a fresh sponge, and got to work. Feeling much like a make up MacGyver, I pumped out one pump of the Le Duo Serum and one pump of the Lumi-Matte foundation on the back of my hand. I mixed them together, and dotted the mixture all over my face, blending with my damp sponge. I then applied a few dabs of the NYX Bare With Me concealer around my eyes and blended with a sponge. And YA'LL. I don't mean to brag but my skin looked pretty damn fucking perfect, considering I had just come in from being outside and was a bit red and shiny. This combination looks absolutely amazing on the skin. I haven't done a full day wear test yet, but the initial application was so encouraging I had to run straight over to this sub to report my findings. So if you too are lusting after the Clarins Double Serum Foundation and are trying to be responsible this month ... I highly suggest making your way over to Priceline and grabbing a bottle of the Le Duo serum and mixing it in with your foundation of choice ... you just might find that you already have everything you need. submitted by /u/phantompath to r/AustralianMakeup [link] [comments]

Alt. to L'Oreal Hyaluronic Serum that is not Maybelline Skin Tint
Been using the L'Oreal serum for years but it's starting to look dull on my skin while my other foundations (Maybelline Lumi Matte & Sephora Best Skin) allow my glowy skin to come through. I've tried the Maybelline skin tint and wasn't a fan. Any recs on improving the L'Oreal or new foundations? I have combo skin. submitted by /u/_ilikefancythings_ to r/drugstoreMUA [link] [comments]

Wasted money on a loreal foundation
I bought the loreal infallible foundation from the mall today. I feel like i got gaslit by the store workers into buying the wrong shade AGAIN. How does this keep happening. I knew something was wrong with the shade but they kept saying oh its fine its perfect on you.i come back home home and its the most simpsons looking fking foundation i have ever seen in my LIFE ! ITS ACTUALLY INSANE. I feel like i enter a trance when i enter these stores, the lighting is fake, there r like 5 workers there hounding u to buy something fast or recommending random products u have never seen and gaslighting u into decisions u didnt wanna make in thr first place. Im actually so disappointed im gonna cry😭. im glad i only spent 900 on it cos originally i was planning on heading out the with more expensive 2000 rs one. Can someone help me figure out how to buy a foundation my shade. Im literally so tired. I have a lot of acne scars and dont rlly feel that confident without some foundation and concealer so i wanna make sure the next one is good. Im gonna cry. Also if anyone has any tips on how to fix this foundation or use it up atleast some how it would appreciated submitted by /u/sm_2008_pisces to r/IndianBeautyTalks [link] [comments]

Got my first Natasha Denona palette and I hate the quality
Flaired discussion as I really want to find a way to make it work. Bought I Need A Nude and was superrrrrr excited for it to come, i paid full price and also international shipping 😢 I’m really struggling with the formula. I own other high end palettes (vieve) and they work like a DREAM. I emailed their customer support and they do not offer international returns however made an exception for me providing I pay return shipping which I don’t really think is worth it. Theyre all so… sheer? I am PALE like nars Siberia pale and I’m really struggling to get any depth with these shadows. The darkest shade, silhouette, looks like straight up mud dust from the side of the road. I need to pack and layer it like crazy and it still doesnt show up as it does in the pan. They all swatch okay enough but look like absolutely nothing on the eye. And they dont pick up with my brush! I do prime and a light layer of concealer. I think the worst is that they don’t layer over each other at all. If i pat shade fair across my lid then nothing else will sit on it, just look like a pale smudge. The glitters swatch beautifully but are difficult to get on my eye even with a finger. Everything is basically skin toned for me which is crazy. Anyone else had this? Ive heard such amazing reviews it’s got me wondering if there’s a bad batch or something! Or maybe i’m being incredibly picky Product list; Natasha Denona I Need a Nude, all shades Too Faced hangover primer NYX bare with me concealer serum (used on eye but not pictured here) Loreal true match foundation 0w (used on eye not pictured here) edit for those shopping around: i ended up returning this and recently got a cheap morphe palette which is 100x better quality than this submitted by /u/fnafatfreddies to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Elf halo glow and Maybelline serum foundation
Hello, Pour in your expert advice on how to use these 2, they look pretty identical on my skin. Elf one has a little more shine to it I guess. Heard a lot of this one and got it, how do I create base with these 2, especially for a festive look? submitted by /u/Life-Variation-8138 to r/indianbeautyhauls [link] [comments]

The two foundations that work perfectly on my Neutral leaning warm skintone : Haus Labs 210 and L’Oréal True Match Light-Medium Serum. These are thick drops. On blending they disappear.
Some other good matches - Mac Studio Fix Fluid NC18 - Mac Studio Radiance Serum Foundation NC12 and 17 both work well. - NARS Light Reflecting Patagonia Interestingly, foundations that match my arm match my face perfectly, unlike lipsticks which are whole different story 😅 submitted by /u/LiteraryTravels to r/swatchitforme [link] [comments]

I am a DV survivor. I refuse to give ELF my money. I have made a list of popular products from ELF, against what one can use instead. Hope this helps!!
This is not an exhaustive list - in the comments please feel free to discuss and add suggestions. Hope this can be pinned. I will not even use the product names, because i won't give elf even that much free marketing. I hope the descriptor will be clear enough. There will be a separate thread for ELF skincare which will also provide alternatives for their subsidiary: rhode by hailey beiber, keys wellness, naturium and w3ll people. you can find the skincare list here GRIPPY PRIMER McCoMakeup Grip Primer Maybelline grippy primer revlon colorstay grip primer NYX the face glue. ETA: not including sheglam because that's shein's makeup brand which is... not... great. milani has been struck from this list as they publicly sided with johnny depp during the trial. unfortunately, this list is not bds safe because i typed it from memory, and its gets pretty hard to keep track of who is the parent company of which brand. so i urge everyone to do their own research, as it will take me a couple of days to track down the parent company of each brand and then mark them safe on the list. meanwhile, here is the bds list - https://boycott.thewitness.news/categories/cosmetics submitted by /u/SexyFoodandFilms to r/drugstoreMUA [link] [comments]

L'Oreal launched 24hr serum foundation shade range just shameful.
I just saw L'Oreal launched their 24hr serum foundation on nykaa. They have only 7 shades out of which four for light category, one in medium and 2 for tan. I'm tired of big brands doing this in India. And nykaa is showing 8 shades. But good luck finding that extra shade. submitted by /u/Sufficient_Regret_93 to r/IndianMakeupAddicts [link] [comments]

The Ordinary Serum Foundation is coming back!!
I've been holding on for dear life on my last bottle and there's barely any left. I don't wear makeup often anymore so it's lasted me a while clearly. I've been doing some research this week for a good replacement and was going to head out today to get the Loreal True Match Serum, then I got this email!! I'm so excited!! submitted by /u/jubejube321 to r/MakeupAddictionCanada [link] [comments]

finding out the makeup I purchased over a year ago wasn’t authentic
I received the email today. Apparently the two CC creams I bought over a year ago were deemed likely to be unauthentic. I’ve obviously used them both since then and I have no clue what ingredients I put on my skin. submitted by /u/a_thicc_sock to r/mildlyinfuriating [link] [comments]
